141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitstamp hack bitcoins are now moving! on: January 10, 2015, 11:56:54 PM
I posted on here almost a year ago that bitstamp was just a government honeypot and that it was only a matter a time before they ran off with people's coins.

Like 99% of the time - I was right.

 Grin

How did they ran off? They've reopened and will have to pay that back one way or another. As far as we know there are no limits on withdrawal, so users are not directly affected.

Your right-rate just dropped to 98%  Wink

You assumed he makes 100 claims like this. In fact, the fcker only make 1 similar claim in the past. This makes him.... less than 50% correct.

a broken clock would be right atleast twice a day.
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 180 Coins Stolen From my wallet 1GpUcrJ1Zo6ZJWgw7HQT7nADijY5a3dcCh on: January 10, 2015, 11:51:48 PM
OP,

I am sorry for your loss, but I am also curious:

Did you not see similar threads on Bitcointalk
in the past where people have had their coins stolen?

If so, did you not think "Maybe I should better
secure my coins"?

And if so, why did you not do so?

JF

Its even more reasonable to think that this thread is a hoax to spread more fear. Even in the past, not all threads like this has been proved a legit theft. I can send bitcoins to an exchange to dump it and make a similar thread... " OMG my bitcoins are stolen.... Its terrible and noone will save bitcoin from hacking"

PS. Notice the OP make a new account to make this thread? Surely if someone own 180 btc would not just be a lurker on this forum. Either show your real username or GTFO.

Whats the fcking point of this thread ? really i mean we've gotten tons of threads like this in the past, i thought ppl would atleast do a fcking search.

No one can help you OP, you're dumb enough to store your private key online, you deserve this.

I'm sick and tired of irresponsibility. First thing you learn about bitcoin is security, not "OMG i want to be rich!"
144  Economy / Speculation / Re: SecondMarket Bitcoin Investment Trust Observer on: January 10, 2015, 02:08:45 PM

... because the use-case for the 'pros' is completely different than your average user.

Not to mention the pro use-case you specifically refer to are the highest high volume trading accounts, interfacing with the legacy banking system and tens of thousands users, with hundreds of new ones signing up, withdrawing, depositing and transacting bitcoins 24 hours of every day since they opened.

It doesn't matter because average Joe don't know that.
And even if average Joe want to hold his coins in a cold wallet it is usually expensive and/or hard to understand how to do it and if you are fully secure or not.

Once standard wallets are easy, 100% fully secure by default and cheap or free, then average Joe will be able to enter.

Anyway average Joe don't need bitcoin for 99% of normal life transactions. So there is no point for them to buy, only for speculating.

Stupid, banks got robbed all the time, yet ppl still use it. Stop saying nonsense idiot. A BTC exchange is always targeted by hackers. An avg Joe isnt. With hardware wallet, an avg Joe dont even need to know how. Just like you dont even have to know how to fix a car to drive one.

Dumbest shit i've read from you recently. I bet you're shorting huh?
145  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-01-02] Medium: GAW-Scam is going to destroy cryptocurrency for many folks on: January 02, 2015, 09:18:01 PM
Idiots who "invest" in an obvious little ponzi P&D.

They should know better.

Crypto scams exist because there are a lot of fools or greedy fucks who buy them.

These people just have to lose money until they learn I guess.

You are wrong. The problem is, that the same people always walk right intro a trap. I know so many people here who got scammed more than 2 times by a Ponzi...

How the fck is he wrong?

The same ppl who fall for scam are the same greedy fcks he talked about.

I'm not surprised so many on here got scammed. In fact i would say 80% of members here are greedy idiots, borderline stupid, the rest  are actually above avg IQ. Its funny isnt it?
146  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Can't developers start to make coins which limit the amount of total hashrates? on: December 30, 2014, 03:50:15 AM
Stupidest shit i've heard. Seriously some fckers on here are either smart or dumb. Sigh....
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To all the newbies, i have sum up for you about bitcoin on: December 28, 2014, 04:34:29 PM
bunch of jokers in here....

For those who seeks the meaning:

Stay Hungry: Never be satisfied, and always push yourself.

Stay Foolish: Do (or be willing to keep trying) the things people say cannot be done

Now tell me again if this does not relate to bitcoin.
148  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is mining that profitable? on: December 28, 2014, 07:19:18 AM
Yes its very profitable. In fact i'm picking up a Bentley Continental GT this coming Monday all from btc mining profit.

You should buy all the gears that you can, guarantee you next year you will be buying Maserati.
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which BTC ATMs are 2-way? on: December 28, 2014, 07:16:55 AM
as far as i know only ATM launched by bitcoin exchanges can do 2 way. This clearly depends on where you are.
150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / To all the newbies, i have sum up for you about bitcoin on: December 28, 2014, 07:10:59 AM
Stay hungry, stay foolish.

If you dont know what that means, go on Amazon and buy the book : http://www.amazon.com/Stay-Hungry-Foolish-Rashmi-Bansal/dp/9381626715/ possible referral link removed

Dont make a thread until you fully understand.

151  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: December 27, 2014, 06:42:20 AM
I'll appreciate a bit of holiday spirit.
Merry Christmas SP-Tech, may Jesus bless you and your family. Such a wonderful time of year.

This is a joke? Hes ..... opposite of Christian. I hate it when ppl keep forcing their religion shit on others without knowing shit.

I witness ppl say merry Christmas to a clearly Muslim couple. Fcking grind my gear.
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Merry Christmas... but the last block was ~40 minutes ago. on: December 26, 2014, 03:44:58 AM
From my very first post on this forum (in 2011) I have been a huge supporter of Bitcoin.

About the only time that people get really mad at me, is when I point out that sometimes transactions take wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy toooooooooooooo longgggggggggggggggggggg.
...sometimes transactions take way too long.

1) It does not matter what type of transaction I am "complaining" about.
2) Your anger has no affect on me, or the reality of the situation.
3a) In some cases, 40+++ minutes for a transaction is way too long, and we might as well all switch to an alt coin with much faster blocks.
3b) While I was typing we finally had a new block...

Quick Summary:
40+ minute transactions do not always work well in the real world.

are you aware that a confirmation is not a transaction? (transaction takes about a second)

No he is not, even tho he was told million times. This fucker should just crawl back into his mom's filthy hole.
153  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: December 18, 2014, 04:12:09 PM
My payout has not been 4 times a day. Anyone got the same issue?

Also their stats sucks. I cant check my earnings against payout

PS. are the payment supposed to show the same payout on BOTH Westhash and Nicehash for the same btc address? Its confusing the shit out of me because i cant check my earnings now do can i ? I mean i they should clearly gives history of earnings so we can add them up.
154  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Review] Spondoolies-Tech SP20 on: December 18, 2014, 07:29:56 AM
I cant believe Guy sent ASICMINER shill a free product.

Even so the idiot cant even operate the damn thing.

What a fail.
155  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: when will all btc be mined? on: December 18, 2014, 05:57:47 AM
My guess ... 2138, because the difficulty change slightly lags the hashrate increase.

If difficulty will be increasing so fast that can be before 2100 easy..

just prove you're the dumbest in the room
156  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: December 18, 2014, 03:34:01 AM

5 SP20's right under your bedroom. You MUST live alone? I have an attached garage, which I tried my SP10 in and still couldn't keep it there from those high pitch fans. Then you wouldn't believe what happened. My good friend brought over his 2 SP10's and told me to go into the house, while he was in the garage. I heard him start up his SP10's then turn then off. He called for me to come out into the garage and low and behold the 2 SP10's were running! He made this audio box, same width size of the SP10. Has a bunch of what looked like speakers to me installed in it and the box was connected to some control with a few knobs on it. He turned one of the knobs slowly and the sound started to get louder and louder. I know nothing about frequencies or audio waves, but all the box does is cancel out all the audio/frequency waves from the miners. Not sure how it works, but since he wants to sell them, he wouldn't let me take a picture. Trust me, it was just a plain wood box with many different sized speakers I think. He said he has a few versions he's working with and making them variable tuning so the timing and frequencies aren't tied to one miner rig. Which would be impossible anyway, maybe our ears think they all sound the same, technically they are not. He was showing me all this on some meter be brought over. When he sells them he said he would make a post here with a youtube video. I don't know any of the details.

Neat!  Here's some more data on how that works: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Active_noise_control

Guy/Zvi - listening?  Built-in active noise cancellation.  I'd easily pay extra for that option on my sp20!

Silly, active noise cancellation does not work for random spot in your room. It needs to be tuned at one spot. This is why in engine room of a ship, they use headset still.
157  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is causing the current downward trend? on: December 17, 2014, 06:21:08 PM
Selling pressures due to holidays and IPO altcoin scams drawing temporary interest away from BTC .

Bitcoin is here to stay and will dominate on momentum alone at least for the next 10 years.

Yes specifically the paycoin scam.... I cant believe how dumb ppl are.

Typical IPO of scam coins:
+ premined out of thin air (literally no computational task involved)
+ set martket price $X / coin

Idiots poured in, then start pumping then profits.

yes
160  Economy / Speculation / Re: Rouble crash didn't give a chance to Bitcoin? on: December 17, 2014, 06:11:51 AM
Remember Bitcoin has crashed from $1,000+ down to $330. If you're exiting Rubles after a 50%+ fall, last thing you want to be in is a currency that might fall another 70%.

Ditto for Gold and Silver both are in severe bear markets.

both can be taken away from you. And good luck storing them or transferring them with you

Gotta love goldbugs once in a while.
