No there are 2 wallet versions, the 2.9.9.9. is a beta wallet released just a couple of days ago. A block explorer is found at http://ams.midnightminer.net/ but is currently not displaying the last blocks correctly. At the moment we are at block 993750. I will look into this. I have 2 nodes running as seed nodes. I will upgrade one of them to test the beta. |

Dev are you dumping for cheaper rebuy ? Some of the developers of BATA (myself included) have decided to post our names next to our addresses for public view. http://bata.midnightminer.net/richlistPS. DUMPING coins, and selling a few to pay for bills are two very different things... before making accusations try finding out the facts first! If I start selling for bills you can all set buy orders at 100 satoshi for BATA coin. Then why don't you?  Is it not enough that I have the largest wallet? Apparently 15k out of 580k is a massive dumping of coins. And doing it when there is a price trough... well, I don't know how that makes you greedy, but hey! Everyone has opinions. Some are worth something, others are not.  Of course, if you keep selling little pieces, some of us might catch up to you in the Top Wallet list! |

I was thinking of suggesting Masternodes for Space Coin, however, every coin seems to be jumping on the the Mastenode craze.
So I will wait this out and possibly come up with a different technology to help grow Space Coin.

It seems as I need to have some ethereum on my account in order to be able to lock my creditbits "For each transaction a small amount of Ether/Gas is deduced from your account. Please acquire and deposit this amount of Ether on your account before you start with any action."
Could that be the reason to why I cannot lock right now or can it be that it cannot be done from "main account" meaning that I need to create another account for my creditbits in Ethereum/Mist?
Yes, you need a small amount of Ethereum (Gas). Locking, like all other interactions with Smart Contracts, need some fuel to execute. On Ethereum they are the Taxman. You always need to pay the tax to play in their sandbox. |

I'm wondering how the POS system will change (will not it become less secure due to the fact that a large number of coins will be transferred to MN without POS capability, as you wrote) and how to change the annual interest after the introduction of MN?
If the introduction of MN does not affect POS and annual interest, then this is normal.
There are also legendary addresses and someone gets a big profit and it's honest.
pos 3.0 have no annual interest but active user with mn and pos wallet or just pos wallet if not that many coins will earn similiar or even more than in actual system there will be a dynamic reward adaption between mn and pos so one side never eliminate the other if not many mn they get big rewards if many mn their rewards decrease up to a point where run the mn coins better in pos mode so it will automatic balance dmd reactor will split into 3 pos reactors and gurante a base amount of pos coins too I feel a song whitepaper coming on! |

From what I see in the wild, a PoW/PoS coin does not need MasterNodes, and the mix of PoW and PoS helps secure the network. But there are exceptions if other services are on the network that may justify the added cost of MasterNodes. For MasterNodes to be attractive, they take a cut of Mining and/or Staking rewards, so there needs to be an added service to justify the cost. |

I finally got synced with block 959468, but yobit is still in maintenance mode, is there ever going to be poloniex exchange service?
At the moment I am thinking about a swap. The direction that I think of is to base the new AMS coin on an ETH token. @community: Let me know your opinion. Just a token on a centralized network. I am not a fan. Ethereum is a network controlled by a small number of people and lots of politics. It is only 3-4 yrs old and barely survive a hack and hard-fork. Not sure if it is too big to fail, but I do not have much confidence in it. There is an advantage to having your own independent blockchain, you chose the algo, the block times, and the money supply. You can create sidechains and smart contracts without paying Eth taxes. Just my opinion. |
