141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A little word of advice is enough for the wise on: December 22, 2020, 07:49:14 PM
In general, this is already an old story. It makes sense to keep funds on centralized exchanges only if you are going to trade them, if not, then it is better not to hold the funds there for a long time.
In any case, the most important thing is always your private key. If you can guarantee that no one else can reach it, that's enough.

Private keys if being secured well then everything will be fine. In case of storing your money inside exchange it depends from which cex did you

going to entrust your assets, there are traders who trust CEX and keep their funds for both daily trading activities and investment plans that they've

enjoying from the service offered by the CEX exchange.
142  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♠️CASINEOS.COM | Blockchain Powered Betting | Crypto Casino and Sportsbook🥊🏀🎲 on: December 22, 2020, 07:37:16 PM
site is not reachable for many days but noone is complaining? Noone had money in this book?

Might be possible that no one from this forum have any balance from this site, as we are not seeing any post yet in regards to any complained.

Not a good sign since it's been a while that the site is no longer reachable, and there's no update or any information coming from the team if

they are still working on it.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you trust, BNB or ETH? on: December 22, 2020, 07:05:12 PM
If I choose between these two coins, I will choose Ethereum. Ethereum is a natural blockchain-based cryptocurrency ecosystem. Ethereum is decentralized, that's the main thing. BNB is tied to the exchange and an artificial ecosystem built around it. It is obvious that Binance is one of the main exchanges driving the development of the crypto market, but what will happen to the coin if Binance starts having problems?

Big question to ask, there's always a "What if" the development though is not relying with the exchange as there are roadmap that being followed

by the developing team, though ETH still superior from most of the investors and developers due it's usable contributions to this entire crypto ecosystem.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO! Which one do you want to return again? on: December 21, 2020, 06:18:10 PM
I will definitely choose IEO because it's more regulated than ICO. I lost a lot of money by investing in ICO. It's very easy to do Scam by using ICO.

In the sense of being offered by respective and reputable exchange, I'll also go with IEO as it can provide good profits same from how it was

way back when known exchange like  binance handled this kind of offering, lots of early investors benefits from this investment, though there

also some who gained from ico way back.
145  Economy / Economics / Re: ...And the good news keeps on coming... on: December 21, 2020, 05:43:53 PM
Anything connected to the Internet can be hacked.

No matter how secured your platform is, if the hacker is really skilled and experienced then you can be still vulnerable to them.

Imagine US Authority can be still hacked by those criminals who are anonymous, it is really hard to deal with them.

For those who are just a normal person who are surfing in the internet, always be careful and don't put any important information in a platform that is suspicious.

That's right. What you said is a reminder for everyone to always be careful and vigilant because hacker is everywhere and anytime they can hack what they want because I believe those hackers are experts and skilled like the man here in our country, at his young age, he stole millions of cash by being a hacker but unfortunately he was also caught by the authorities.

Hackers are just waiting for the opportunities to blowout your assets, you need to be more furious in order to avoid them out. It's true that

everything is possible and hackable but there's also securities that have different layers in order to prevent those hackers to penetrate, it's a

matter of how good you are securing your assets and the businesses that have their own IT specialist to secure everything inside their premises.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is DeFi Dead? on: December 21, 2020, 05:06:14 PM
defi isn't dead yet. but there are so many defi projects, even all tokens are all defi, not infrequently their projects don't develop, all please be careful with defi.
Yes, it's not dead for now, but slowly DeFi will die if no one is interested anymore and nobody likes it anymore, because the DeFi hype is a trend this year and it won't necessarily be able to develop next year.

Without investors support eventually everything will die naturally, all those hypes are already forgotten and those people who've been trapped to certain

project are now moving forward trying to find new ways to invest and earn, it's no longer an interest for now unless there's project development that

really gain the attention back to this venue of investment.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it right time to Buy Alt coins now? on: December 21, 2020, 04:54:22 PM
I'm not sure if we can see the pump of the altcoins just like the year 2018 of January. I don't think if this is the right time to buy altcoins but if you planning to hold for long term then I guess you can buy it now but for me, not good to buy now maybe I will wait the down prices of the altcoins then that's the right time to buy.

Time is already peaking so it's best to wait for a large drop back to make it easier for you to buy some good tokens. But if you feel you will get a loss you should buy it now.

Better assessment and good timing will allow you to gain good compensation inside this market, don't buy if you are unsure with the market movement.

Wait and do deeper research instead of rushing your way and leads you to lose your money, alts season depends from the development of the project,

once updates being provided and it offers good usages then chances that the value will rise high.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should you take loan(s) to invest in crypto? on: December 21, 2020, 04:42:51 AM
Better not, using borrowed funds to trade crypto is suicidal. the market doesn't always go your way. You've probably heard that people lose even when the market is in a bull. if you became one of those people, what would you do ?. how do you pay the loan when you lose?. better use the minimum funds, it doesn't matter even if you get a little profit. at least you don't mess with debt.

Consequences needs to understand more deeper, if you don't know how to work it out never to take this option. Loan only make you more

to suffer if you don't have any ideas from what you are dealing with, there are people who can deal with this but not everyone are good and

lucky enough to  benefits from your loan money, most are suffering with one single mistake.
149  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC $24k another new all time high on: December 21, 2020, 03:51:37 AM
Bitcoin has always amazed me, Bitcoin's performance this year has really surprised many people. Because many people predict
Bitcoin this year will only reach a price of $ 22,000. But the reality is that Bitcoin's all-time high price has reached $ 24,200 this year.
But my advice is to be careful and don't buy Bitcoin for now, because there is a possibility that the Bitcoin price could suddenly drop.
With the already high Bitcoin price increase, there should be a correction in the near future. Hopefully Bitcoin doesn't go down too deep
and can go up even higher.

If you plan to invest make sure that you are ready it's true that chance of dropping is high as most of the time correction happened after moving

bullishly, there's a big chance that holders who gained good amount of profits will cash it out and wait for another dip, and due to holiday season

chances also that investors and holders will sell it to use for their holiday expenses.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shall I HODL DOGE? on: December 21, 2020, 03:11:07 AM
DOGE is a useless coin, don't holdit. Better yet buy one of the newer coins being launched these days with the bull run, you stand to make more money that way.
In a way the defi trend pulled crypto out of the cryptowinter so your best bet is the defi world. Not some BS crap dogecoin.

+1+1+1+1+1

You know what? I couldn't agree with you more if I wanted to. Doge coin is the absolute most useless coin there ever was and frankly that is why it is popular. IT IS USELESS. Mainstreamers laugh at us just because coins like DOGECOIN, TITCOIN etc exist.

More on pump and dump and only for Meme's, that the sole purpose of this coin from the beginning of the creation of this project.

If you want to ride with this project then you need to have a good guts positioning your entry and exit, ride and enjoy, make sure

to use your spare money.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should you take loan(s) to invest in crypto? on: December 20, 2020, 06:46:30 PM
Loan can be consider good things for them who already have expriance about crypto industry and expart on trading.even i took last loan many years ago and fortunately was able to make profit and successful to return the loan amount.although amount wasn't big.but i don't recommend loan for anyone.try to investment or trade with what you have.but if you really sure you can do profit, then a little loan could be taken.

If you have good understanding and you also do have resources to pay those loans then grabbing the opportunities is not bad. It's important to have

other sources of income in order to pay those loans and continue holding your assets inside crypto while waiting for the price to rise. Loans are for those

who really trust their knowledge and not for those who are just trying to gain quick profits just because of someone told them to invest.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins rise affect on Altcoins. on: December 20, 2020, 06:02:38 PM
Have some doubt on it,
When Bitcoin rises, other coins fall because people are selling their alt coins to go into Bitcoin?

Not entirely true, those who sold their altcoin are only those who wanted to join the bitcoin surge but doesn't have extra fund to do so but those who have money, they never sell their altcoin just for joining BTC trend's sake.

True, there are still investors who stand to this momentum, instead of selling their assets and jumped to bitcoin they choose to stay and keep their coins,

If they have spare money then they'll invest it separately with bitcoin and enjoy keeping their alts and wait for the trend to favor them before selling it

with a much decent profits.
153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 20, 2020, 05:51:35 PM
Floyds height is 1,73cm, Logans 1,88cm. Their difference in height is just one iPhone 12 (146mm)
The picture is a lie  Grin Grin And their weight difference is just 20kg. Goliath (Logan) has no real advantage over David (Mayweather).

A few hours back, I watched the fight between Callum Smith and Canelo Alvarez. Smith held a height advantage of 15cm, and yet lost to Alvarez in a convincing manner. Remember that Smith was unbeaten until this match. So I don't think that height is going to matter much. May be it matters, but then both the fighters should be at the same level. But here we have a professional fighting against an amateur.

Nothing to think about, it's just for the sake of entertainment and most part is all about money. In terms of height and weight advantages there's also no

bearing as the fight have nothing to lose from both camp. they are only after the payment that surely to received after this fight just need to finish the

fight then both ends will be happy receiving their shares.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP Could Hit $1 This Year on: December 18, 2020, 06:21:40 PM
By the end of this year I think XRP will still not reach $ 1, maybe $ 0.7,
because bitcoin dominance is still above 63%, this makes it difficult for altcoins to rise, including XRP,
I am sure that next year XRP can even be more than $ 1
I do not know what it is happening with XRP but it is pitiful, bitcoin reaches the 23k level and a clear new ATH with a  growth of 25% just in this week and XRP losses ground instead of gaining it, while I am not invested in this coin if I was I will be mad about it, at this rate bitcoin could touch 40k for each coin next year and XRP will not grow enough to hit one dollar for each coin, this should be extremely disappointing for those that have held their XRP for so long that I will not be surprised that several of them sell their XRP for BTC.

More likely. Those who are investing to this coin that particular downfall previously will provoke them to sell it out and invest with bitcoin,

frustrations mostly bring investors to decide unclearly, if you are into this project and you still have good amount of spare money, best not

to touch it and allow thing to proceed, there's still chance as every alts have their respective momentum.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: December 18, 2020, 05:47:47 PM
I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin?

Search on active community which have high potential investment, after that research more about the usecase and the team. I invest some of my fund to Callisto Network, you can do more research if you interested.

The right thing to do before investing your money, don't forget to investigate and do deeper research. Once you are done with it then check

how the community support the project, it's important that you are well aware to what the impression coming from the people who are supporting

the project and how it will gives you the benefits that you are aiming.

157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of fake Telegram groups on: December 15, 2020, 08:02:27 PM
Scammers have now gone advance and using all means to perpetrate their actions. A few days ago I saw myself in some fake groups of real crypto projects while they are claiming to do giveaway for partnership reasons, Christmas seasons and so on. One thing that made me aware was that report spam was placed on the group which was unusual immediately I opened it and went to check for their original groups and it was different. I saw many giving testimonies of having received the claimed giveaway offers which I am sure it's a game from their co-scammers. An innocent individual might fall for it. Please let's beware and take cautions, report any fake group that you find yourself in as spam.

Never come across such group, I know some Telegram users usually join people unwillingly on some groups but I haven't seen this type,  good thing you brought it to members of the forum notice,  people will be more vigilant and observant not to fall into any such scam group.

Sharing this to prevent those innocent people, those kinds of testimony are well generated as scammers are good in alluring newbies and those who

are unaware with kinds of scamming activities. It's good that you brought it out and share your experienced, it serve as a wake up call for possible

target to aware themselves avoiding this kind of groups.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this even normal? on: December 15, 2020, 06:57:01 PM

I don't call it normal,i name it scam. Close down bounty group means they don't want anybody to speak, blocked access to the spreadsheet means they probably don't want to pay the reward to the bounty hunter, what an ironic project.
Exactly, that's a matter of fact, if they are closing the bounty group and also blocked access to the spreadsheet means it is crystal clear that it is a scam and they have not had the intentions to deliver the reward to the participants. Now hunters get used to with such scams.

Hunters need to move forward and avoid such kinds of bounty works, it's clear that if there's no information then the team have a high

chance not to pay the participants, waste of time and efforts, things that each participants needs to learned, you have to be more selective

in picking the team or projects to support to avoid this kind of team.
159  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy after COVID-19 on: December 08, 2020, 11:57:13 PM
economy after COVID 19, we hope to recover quickly. because seeing the current economies around the world collapsing and experiencing a decline. this resulted in people experiencing distress. so I thought that maybe a way should be taken to continue accelerating the economic recovery
Through how? printing more money? the lockdowns are the reason why people's lives are in distress. Especially the ones that are from under the poverty line to the under average living people.
Their jobs and businesses were mostly postponed due to it. Why the big corporations are able to continue but with a certain limit but at least, they've got something to earn from even with these tight policies during the covid19 crisis.

Big businesses that have enough funds are capable to adjust, they have money to work for them not even covid stop them being compensated.

While those in the poverty side only government and those who are generous who can support their needs, economy is down and it will more time

before it really recovered and be back from the last time status.
160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use bitcoin? on: December 08, 2020, 06:03:28 PM
Here are restrictions in some country samely llike mine about Bitcoin. So,I use this for the online based work or mostly buy/sell sector and I also ttrade bitcoin and covert it into Fiat. So,This is one of the easiest and favourite thing of mine.

that's the simplest but effective ways to use bitcoin, there are countries that still restricting the usages of bitcoin without proper knowledge they are

seeing that this system still a threat for their financial system, but with the use of internet you can continue enjoying your assets as what you mentioned,

trading or buying online is commonly being used.
