141  Economy / Economics / Re: Business failure among small-scale entrepreneurs on: December 15, 2023, 08:41:28 PM
There are many reasons why new businesses fail. Business in the world is very competitive. New businesses can get on their feet, they can start with a startup, after that it is important how long they can continue, do they see just one step ahead or do they work with longer steps, predictions and plans? This part is important. These are all long processes, it is very difficult to find sufficient financing, you need to have unique ideas and a functioning business to convince the financing.

Blast Premier World Final is finally here. This will be the last tier 1 CS2 tournament this year. 6 of the top 8 teams are competing for a share of the $1M prize. Vitality looks solid after winning the Fall Final in November while teams with recent roster changes look shaky (ENCE, Heroic, Mouz). Frozen first match with Faze seems convincing though, let's see how they'll fare against G2 today.

My picks for today's matches

I watched the Faze G2 match live. It was a good victory for G2 in Inferno, even a comfortable victory. Hunter played very well and other team players supported him well on this map. The second map was Faze's map, or rather Ropz's map, Nuke. G2 seemed to win this map again at the beginning because there was an incredible frag contribution from Niko, but towards the end, Faze closed this gap and they managed to win their own map. It's a real shame that Niko couldn't win this match with 30 frags. Afterwards, the Decider map was moved to Anubis. There is no such competition. The match went to overtime on the decider map. Faze won the Anubis map in overtime. Actually, your bet was very close. G2 clan could have won twice but lost in the end. I'm sorry about that.
143  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you still use Banks ? on: December 14, 2023, 07:54:36 PM
Nowadays, we still have to use the banking system for payments. I make most of my payments through banking. I use Bitcoin mostly as a means of storing value. The level at which I spend and pay in Bitcoin is very low. In fact, making payments with Bitcoin has been banned in our country for a few years. It is free all over the world, of course it is free in most places, but its trade is still prohibited in some countries. If buyers and sellers start using bitcoin, I don't think there will be a widespread decrease in banking activities. As I said at the beginning, bitcoin is used mostly as a means of storing value.

Even though Red Star FC got one point, they had a hard time beating Manchester City and Leipzig in total, so they deserve respect. It was a good try. I think they can be more successful in the coming years. Manchester City managed to get out of the group without any defeat. Six wins in six matches. Manchester City is one of the biggest champion favorites with its great squad and Guardiola, and the other one is Real Madrid, the champions league guard. Let's see, the last sixteen rounds will be very joyful.

What happened last night is a disgrace.
There is nothing to say, even if the referees made right or wrong decisions, you can't do that.
They destroyed the reputation of our country.
The punishment should be severe but there will be no punishment because there is no justice in the country.

Yes a pure disgrace, unbelievable actually its something that I kind of expected, there
is so much emphasis put on respect in the game, it just goes to show there is no respect.

I stopped watching football a few years ago, too much negativity, for me it outweighs
the beautiful moments in the sport.

You are probably right about there being no punishment...

https://www.reuters.com/sports/soccer/turkish-club-president-arrested-punching-referee-minister-2023-12-12/

Quote
The club president Koca was twice elected to Turkey's parliament as part of
President Tayyip Erdogan's ruling AK Party.

It could go two ways, he will either be hung out to dry or protected by his political friends.
Ankaragücü president Faruk Koca had previously received the Fair Play award. Imagine, a president who has received a Fair play award comes down to the field and punches the referee. No fan in Turkey is happy with the referee's decisions, but there was a smell that such an incident would happen, and when it did, it was a disgrace. The referees are protesting, they have come together and they are right, they are also afraid now. It is very interesting that the fans applaud the club president as he leaves the field. Could such a thing happen because of the violence he committed?

Unfortunately, we lost. Copenhagen won with a one goal and continues in the Champions League.
I can't say Galatasaray played well, because they didn't.
We will continue in the UEFA Europa League. I hope we will have good success there.
It is not right to say that the UEFA Europa League may have been better for Galatasaray, but if they had stayed in the last 16 of the Champions League, Galatasaray would not have had a chance, but maybe they could go a little further in the UEFA Europa League. But if they continue to play as they do today, I'm sure they will leave the European league early. The game they played today was the worst game in the group, I think the team lacked the spirit to win.

Now UFC put Tony Ferguson in front of Paddy Pimblett. Tony Ferguson should have quit long ago instead of suffering so many defeats and he would have been well remembered and he is still a hero to me.

To be fair, I'm glad he didn't retire just yet and I really like the match-up against Paddy. I don't think we realise how hard it is to quit something you love and you've been doing all your adult life. If Tony feels he still has it in him and the people want to watch that (I do) then let him. Who knows, maybe he'll surprise everyone and will bounce back.
My money would be on Pimblett but it might not be an easy fight.

I just learnt that Strickland will be fighting DuPlessis in January. That's another interesting fight that could go either way, but I slightly favour Sean.
Tony is a real warrior, of course he can come back, but he is a warrior who has suffered a lot of damage, and the possibility of him returning after that much damage is very low. Yes, the audience still wants him, but I made such a comment because I care about his health, otherwise I still get excited when I see him in the ring. By the way, my money is on Paddy Pimblett. Maybe Tony will surprise everyone and make everyone lose money. Let's see, I'm looking forward to this match. I think Paddy will somehow lead to submission.

Now UFC put Tony Ferguson in front of Paddy Pimblett. Tony Ferguson should have quit long ago instead of suffering so many defeats and he would have been well remembered and he is still a hero to me. He couldn't fight Khabib for the belt, his fight was canceled many times and finally he signed a contract against Justin Gaetcje, it was his fate to accept that fight and he still doesn't choose the fight, he accepts all of them unfortunately. Everyone still wonders what would have happened if he fought Khabib. Paddy Pimblett wouldn't last long against prime Tony, but Tony isn't the old Tony anymore, so I can think of something for Pimblett to win. There are two belt protection matches on the UFC 296 card. Actually, it is necessary to interpret them. The match between Leon Edwards and Covington was made clear when Covington made remarks from the sidelines during the Edwards Usman trilogy. It is not an easy opponent for Edwards, but in my opinion, Covington is a lower level fighter than Usman, so I support Edward, but I don't know how he will finish. I'm just deciding for now.

157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 09, 2023, 12:43:24 AM
The crushing defeat against Inter Milan was quite difficult for them because they were humiliated in front of their own supporters. And also today where Osimhen et al also lost to juventus, making Napoli fail to return to the top 4. Roma has the opportunity to stay away from napoli pursuit if Roma is able to get full points in the match against Fiorentina.
Napoli are not are not as they were last season and that is very obvious to everyone who follows the Italian league. Juventus were always expected to win the game and they did as expected. Shows strong intentions for the season from Napoli to ensure that they qualify for the champions league next season as they missed out on this season's own. I believe r this season's Italian league is between Inter Milan and Juventus because Napoli will obviously not be able to defend their title.
Until the past weeks, Juventus was not even on the cards, they achieved stability due to the club's known problems and player injuries, and now they are in the lead even though they have a lot of matches. It's not been a very encouraging season for Napoli. After Inter, they were ineffective against Juventus. They were underdogs in both matches. I don't think the bettors will trust Napoli at all in such matches this season.

After pressuring and dominating the second half, Getafe was able to score against Valencia in 4 minutes to the end of the match. It was a fantastic victory for them as they performed well in the presence of their fans at home.
Getafe has returned to their winning ways as they won by 1-0 against Valencia. The win has pushed them through the 8th position of the LaLiga table with 22 points. Congrats to them
The match was also quite tough even though there were three red cards that came out of the match and what was quite painful was Valencia whose players received two red cards and another one from the home team themselves who also received a red card in the final minutes of the match. Getafe itself is not only lucky enough for that, but also lucky enough to be able to control the match better so that they are also very worthy of winning in front of their own supporters in today's match.
Morja Mayoral scored a delicious headed goal in the 87th minute, the pass was very good, we should not forget that pass. Getafe won a good match in front of their own fans. It was really sad that there were three red cards in total at the end of the match. After the goal, the adrenaline increased in the players. As I said, it was an important win for Getafe at home. Getafe somehow got the results of their attacks in the second half, albeit late.

No doubt Inter Milan are the team of the Serial A as it stands. They have really been so consistent this season and has been producing the results needed to be toping the league at this stage. They have an experienced manager who knows what he is doing and he has the resources around him to deliver the league title this campaign. I think they will win the league as there is no other team in the league right now who is at inter level right now.
I thought Inter Milan would score more goals, they really are the top team in the league. Juventus and Inter have switcht the places 1 and 2 for the last few weeks. I think Barella is one of the best players in Italy at the moment. His goal 2-1 was great, how easy it lookes like, but it was technically very well played. Then there is Lautaro Martinez, who is perhaps having the best season of his career and currently scored 13 goals in 14 games.
Juventus and Inter Milan teams are fighting fiercely for the first place. If you ask me, Inter is the team that plays a better quality game and should stay in the first place as it is. Napoli 3-0 win was a superior victory, even though this team was last year's champion, Napoli actually has nothing to do with last season. Martinez's goal scoring stats are amazing, and fellow center forward Thuram's assist stats. In this match, he scored one of Hakan Çalhanoğlu's popular goals and he puts a lot of effort into the team.

Eternal Fire seems to have adapted to CS2, though not fully. With the performances in the recent tournaments, we can say that the team is getting used to the new game or will be fully acclimatized in the near future. The fact that Xantares' performance hasn't changed is important for the team's performance, and the fact that Wicadia, the young star of the team, is improving day by day is another positive factor for the team. At the moment they are fighting well as a team, but the fact that woxic is far from his old performance makes the team awp diff.

Totally agree with what you said about Eternal Fire. They have been quite impressive lately. First a record of finishing 2nd in the PARI Please tournament and right after that another same finish in ESL Challenger Jönköping.  Smiley  They could have even defeated Monte in the finale too but that was such a difficult matchup for them. They still did good work on Vertigo and Anubis though.

Monte are one of the powerful teams lately. They have made good progress in the rankings. But still these achievements was helpful for Eternal Fire to reach 11th place in HLTV rankings.  Smiley

woxic is on fire indeed. I watched some of his performances in this ESL Challenger tournament and got really excited.
Eternal Fire rose to 11th place and they will now move to Hungary as their base for tournament matches so they will not have any more ping problems. If the ping problem is eliminated, EF can go much further in the rankings. In my opinion, CS2 was better in terms of Eternal Fire. As a result, Eternal Fire achieved the best ranking in CS2. There were times when EF had a chance to beat Monte, but it was not the time yet and it was still a good final match.
