Well we have now passed 5000 sat - the only thing left to see now is whether by Sunday's end we will have a consolidated floor at 5000! So far so good with my predictions.

Back at 2K  Yep someone put the breaks - clearly there are people trying to accumulate. No matter - still only 4.56 BTC to 5000 sat - which is what I would call the minimum reasonable price. 5000 floor by the weekends end. 5000sat this weekend? wat will it be in mid november? could this be a dollar coin very soon?  Probably not soon - but it will be 10c a coin before Christmas - mark my words. Marking this while staking like a boss  Likewise - the beauty is its one of the few coins that incentivises people to hold - even as the price climbs! Side question for the devs: Any chance we could get a staking calculator built? e.g. - Enter the number of coins you hold - Enter the approximate block your coins matured for staking - Enter the block to count up to - Your expected stakings (provided no withdrawals are made and all stakings are left to stake) = XXXX Do you mean a calculator similar to net for instance? It says when and what your stakes will be? Sort of - More like "With this number of coins, staking from this block, until this block you generate an estimated X number of steps. It's a great way to help newcomers understand the value of buying and holding rather than dumping as soon as it goes up. Also helps us advertise - With 100,000 coins you could generate XX thousand coins by Christmas if you buy and hold now! |

Looks like Steps has a dedicated team behind that won't let down, price doesn't really matter right now I guess everyone is just staking but patience will pay off.
Yep these guys are just getting the job done - no mucking around, no "just buy and wait for two weeks and you will be glad!" BS that so many coins put out today. |

Thank you for your information and support and a big thank you to one of the members for giving some steps that just shows that Steps community is strong one. It will take a while to get where i was with the amount of coins i got stolen it will take me 2 to 3 month to get back what i had in coins.
Just hold your coins and stake - this is one that will only go up - every week that goes by makes it more and more desirable, AND the number one holder dumped his load meaning theres less resistance on the way up to 3000,4000 and then 5000 sats. |

I am sure you all know that we are very busy with the development of Steps.
I hereby would like to invite anyone of the community to share ideas with us to make Steps even bigger! You guys have a great team. Why not community driven crypto adoptions/acquisition? Taking over abandoned coins, recreating value in the coin, and somehow attaching it to steps. Exchange maybe.It will help rebuild trust in the crypto world. Does something like that exist? Like a guild of crypto devs haha. I know there are some developers that will fix broken wallets, node services, blockchain development, public relations (Vegas guy). Dividends can be paid to coin holders. It packed a punch with Icash which bright more awareness. Just some ideas. Interesting suggestion and something to think about, however Steps take all our time and effort. We would like to concentrate to make Steps the best coin possible! I would tend to agree here, it takes a lot of effort to take over a coin and run it. Steps has to come first in this instance. Having tried to revive a coin before I know how much effort it takes and without a community backing it, it's almost pointless doing it. Sometimes it's better to let old coins fade away. Any chance that we could appropriate the CIRC trading bot? Can't too hard to reverse engineer the thing and use it for STEPS. The devs scammed us and left over a month ago so It's fair game abandonware now. |

The guy who sold Steps today at C-Cex is either silly or a manipulator!There was a 2BTC @1000sat wall on Yobit,but still he chose to sell @550 on C-Cex!Interesting!

Here's an idea for the Dev team - A simple dice game on the STEPS website - just like the Yobit Dice game - where 100% of the profit from it goes to buying up STEPS off the market and sending it to the burn address once a week.
Are we able to implement something like this?

Although its sad to see someone exit the community it also allowed a number of others to get their hand on a few steps for a bargain price. I'm proud of the devs and the other community members who have done such a great job with this coin and are working hard.
