@patrike Hi boss, why AM ver. 7.8.3 not automatic recognize Nicehash CookarooZ29 service? Nicehash side problem?

anyone know a linux command to switch off/on led lights on Nvidia RTX cards? Thanks.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: July 21, 2020, 04:15:54 AM
dont
Hai...

any complete tutorial running awesome Linux agent on ubuntu? fresh install ubuntu and instal nvidia driver and update and install awesome miner Linux agent but miner not running at all,

Thanks...
I don't have any detailed tutorial for this at the moment - this is probably something to improve.

When you start the mining software with the Diagnostics button, what is the error message? Thanks!
you looking for difficulty ways? simple install hiveOS, this is configured Ubuntu for mining. But if you want run Awesome on fresh Ubuntu, you must install all CUDA libs and configure system path to this libs. Do you need this really?

Patrike, one suggestion for rules improvement. Please add a rule where user can activate another rules and groups or sets of user defined rules.

Example situation:
at 7:00 sun panels start produce electricity and i want set power profit profile for miner 1, 2, 3, etc... and restart each miner.
at 20:00 i want set economy profit profile and restart miners.

At the moment i solve this scenario over many rules for each miner, but more profesional to have only one rule for this scenarion.

Regards

Hi Patrike, thanks for the usefull function Copy&Paste for algo settings in Profit profile.
But can you slightly improve this function? Please add a possibility to copy&paste of all data (start/stop GPU profiles, command line args., batch commands) for selected algo/algos during some checkbox element. Copy&paste only for hashrate, power, software not always enough.

Regards

It seems I (and maybe more people) read the description wrong.

v2.11
+ support BeamHashIII algorithm for Nvidia GPUs (for auto-switching use algo --beamhash)
+ improved Cuckatoo32 performance (up to 5%-8% dependent on GPU)
+ lowered fee for Cuckatoo32 algorithm to 2%

To mine BeamV3 the -algo is BeamhashIII

I did --beamhash and this results in invalid shares.

Greetings

Wotan
Thanks, its works.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: June 29, 2020, 10:17:25 PM
Hi folk, i cant understand, why GMiner 2.11 mine BeamHashIII with error:  Share above the target. Huh
--pers Beam-PoW is added.

Any idea, how to mine this algo on NiceHash?

Solved, must be so:  -algo BeamhashIII --pers Beam-Pow

and you can mine on Nicehash....

i get this on nicehash

 Share Rejected: Share above target
Same problem.

@patrike Please add Equilhash 125.4 for Prohashing.com pool
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: May 24, 2020, 03:53:52 PM
Hi Patrike, i found profitability calculation bug.
If for some rigs defined electricity cost in EUR and you want see how big profitability in BTC, you electricity price will not be converted to BTC. System calculate electricity cost 1:1 to BTC.
Please check.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: May 14, 2020, 10:58:34 PM
Hi Patrike, very often after automatic update of Linux(hive) AM remote client, service will not start automatic. I must start manually over ssh. That happens on different rigs.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: May 10, 2020, 05:59:44 PM
agree, AW works with GPU rigs not 100% smooth, but work
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: May 08, 2020, 09:28:45 AM
if someone have problem with loading nvrtc.so lib on AwesomeMiner + HiveOS platform, i have solution.

cd /hive/lib
ln -s libnvrtc.so.10.0.130 libnvrtc.so
ldconfig /hive/lib

Enjoy mining with new miners versions.

cant mine kawpow algo on Linux(HiveOS platform), always get a error: cant initialize/find NVRTC lib.
Any suggestion, how and where i can get this NVRTC lib. Huh
NVIDIA Driver ver. 440.59

Installed you new L3+ firmware (3.8.7.1) and 50% of my asics cant find stable chip config on profiles 500@620w, 505@720w
how long is tuning period? My is endless(

On firmware before tuning was completed in 10-15 min with no such errors in log. Looks like i need downgrade back to 3.8.6

I will look into this, but please keep in mind that it may take a while for the tuning.

How did you manage to solve the SD card installation problem you had earlier?
for two my L3+ asics i cant solve "Cant find signature" error(((

@patrike
Hi boss, i have problems with firmware replace on my Antminer L3+, actually i have installed original Bitmain firmware 10 July 2019
I have tried different methods with SD card (yours and Bitmains tool), but nothing help, i cant replace firmware (Cant find signature error). And no SSH ((((
Maybe someone know a trick.
Regards
The SD card installation method should always work. Can you please verify:

1) The SD card is formatted with FAT32 file system

2) The files you put on the SD card correctly. It is not the same file you install via the web interface that you can put on the SD card. It should look similar to the screenshot you see at the end of this page:
https://support.awesomeminer.com/support/solutions/articles/35000145544-awesome-miner-antminer-firmware-installation

For L3+, you should for example see a few files in the root folder and then have a single sub folder called "nand".

SD card installation is required when running Bitmain firmware from July 2019 and later - as these have the signature validation. Installing via the web interface will give you the signature error message.
trust me Patrike, i have tried all this steps) I have formated to FAT32 16GB SD card, extracted your files (i saw subfolder "nand"), started asic with SD card inserted. nothing helps.
Maybe i must start asic with SD card and press some buttons during start?
some step by step manual needed...

you have the nand folder and the other files on sd card?

Use a smaller SD Card, 4GB is enough and best for this.
yes, i have this content on my SD
16GB ok, checked on Bitmain site.
If i start asic with SD card inserted, normaly i must see that the red and green diodes ON, but in my case this is not a fact(((
only green diode is on and miner continue normal hashing. Looks like my asic ignore reading SD

I have a problem to switch a L3+ asics mining profile over AwesomeMiner->ASIC Tools.
My ASICs is in another location as AwesomeMiner main programm host.( xxx.ddns.net)
I am so understand, that the AwesomeMiner switch mining profiles over web requests. But all my asics is under router port mapping and port 80 is mapped for example over 8101, 8102 and so on.
I cant find in AwesomeMiner program some settings where i can adjust port for extern web requests for ASICs
Or i am wrong? Please help
The profit switcher will use the Cgminer API to make pool priority changes. The web port will not be used. I think your Antminer is running with Restricted API access, where the miner only can be monitored by Awesome Miner but operations like setting pool priorities will not be available.

In order for the profit switcher to work, the miner must be in Privileged API access. As you don't have SSH access on your current firmware version, you will have to install the Awesome Miner firmware for this to work.
This ASIC has priveleged access OK
The pool switching work perfect.
Problem is only for switching for predefined mining profiles in Awesome firmware, not a pools. I cant switch between 505 MH, 540 MH, 605 MH and so on. over AwesomeMiner main program.
if i login to asic via web interface, i can without problem change mining profiles.
