Zetacoin seems to have taken a nice dip lately.  I don't think it will last.

Universal Currency is a fairly new alternative currency taking the best elements of Bitcoin, Peercoin, and Zetacoin.  The UNIT currency is the core part of a larger project for a Solar powered crypto currency mining farm.  It's extremely low initial money supply makes it an ideal long term investment with sure fire returns.

Still however, PoW generated less than half the expected amount of coins.  So what we have here is a blockchain with less than half the money supply of Peercoin's with a little less inflation than Peercoin.

Yes, the 5 UNIT per block is the inflationary phase, pretty much nothing.

Only a few hundred block remain in the distribution phase.

I added this coin to my solo mining services as a request. I wasn't expecting much from it then.  Today I am surprised.

I've been closely following this for some time and it holds promise in my opinion.  

Other investor's share this thought:

In the last 2 weeks a few investors have been buying up all the cheap coins on Bittrex.  This is obvious due to the neat feature that shows the wallet distribution in Bittrex deposits.   There have never been more than 600k UNIT on the open market.  I've seen two large wallets of 900k+ and a smaller 600k.  All of which are gone now from Bittrex and recently appeared in two new wallets outside of Bittrex.

The rich list shows 3 new addresses that account for this:


So we have two new UNIT millionaire's.  That's about a 5+ BTC investment from each at 200 satoshi.  Clearly these are serious long term (why would they withdraw the coins from Bittrex if it wasn't going to be long term?) investors who see the potential that this coin has.   

Also, the developer has pretty much revealed his plan at this point (Cryptomining Farm).  He appears to be focused and willing to put in the effort.  This isn't your average mine and dump coin.  It has long term goals with a clear direction.   No doubt that this has the capability to match (or at least challenge) the price of a Peercoin.

There are less than 5 days of 100 UNIT block rewards left.  If you have Antminers (or anything that uses Stratum), it's possible to solo mine using my service.

Yes, BTC, LTC, and XRP markets for ZET have been on Cryptsy for some time.  
The request is for a USD market.

What we need is to put in requests to Cryptsy to add a ZET/USD market to avoid the Bitcoin price volatility.  After speaking with them, they are willing to add Zetacoin if there is enough demand and volume for it.

If everyone here could please poke them with the request, maybe we can get this added.

Exchanges: Pretty much on any high volume exchange that's worth trading on, Cryptsy, Bter, Jubi, etc..  If Zetacoin isn't listed on a certain exchange then it's one of those low volume micky mouse exchanges that are not worth your attention.

Some coins may be stuck staking.  I have about 400 that are stuck.

Hard forking this was a mistake.  It was doing just fine and the new wallet is very buggy/slow compared to the original.

I didn't notice this earlier, but it looks like someone invested about 5K USD in MEOW about 2 weeks ago



This can only mean that a major price increase is coming in the near future.

Excellent, the more pools the better.  Stronger network, more visibility, better distribution.
Zetacoin is starting to really get noticed and will be reaching critical mass very soon.  My only regret is not buying more when the price was under 1000k.

Do the download links no longer work?

This is a seriously undervalued coin, the price has been stable the last few weeks, but appears to be continuously manipulated downward.  Notice how there are a few of these SELL orders purposely setup to push the price down:





They go all the way to 2760 satoshi or more (Cryptsy only shows SELL orders this far up).  



Someone wants to collect as much ZET possible at a low price.
