141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: January 15, 2016, 10:05:42 AM
Everytime you feel the urge to gamble, simply think about your grandma naked.  Soon enough you will fear thinking of gambling, because you're a dirty, incestuous grandma naked thinker.

I thought religions were a way for trolls to get together and put normal people in baskets, tape them up and send them to Moldova?  Am I wrong?

Faith to me is knowing that whatever I do, Zeus is watching over me... One day through keen worship of the one true god ZEUS I hope to get to Valhalla.

You think Zeus is watching over you because you are wise.
"Wisdom’s instruction is to fear the Lord,
and humility comes before honor.
"
- Pro 15:33

Wisdom leads to science.

Do you hate Science?

Of course I dont hate science, Zeus used science to create the big bang 6 billion years ago, and he continues to use it daily for all manner of events.

Why do you assume people hate Islam? And don't just say "media".

The topic was started by our own Christian apologistsupremacist BADecker, he want everyone to hate muslims and love Jesus... and he worships cats.
146  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do Atheists hate Religion ? on: January 15, 2016, 08:43:24 AM
Nothing wrong with worship of idols, at least they're more tangible than an invisble, non-existant being that didn't create the world.
147  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: January 15, 2016, 08:40:21 AM
Also, Rich is very relative.  In Australia, you might need $10 million+ to be considered rich, but just to our North in Timor Leste or Papua New Guinea you might pass for Rich with $1 million.  I shudder to imagine what you would need in Singapore or Switzerland... perhaps best not to think about  Grin

But honestly, at the end of the day wealth may make your life easier, but the number of friends you have, your family, pets and your health will make you happy.  You can't use money when you die, why go through so much tedium to get it?
148  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do Atheists hate Religion ? on: January 14, 2016, 07:09:04 PM
^LOL Cause there aren't any homosexuals in Iran, rofl.
149  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: January 14, 2016, 07:01:29 PM
^thats not true, it all depends on your own personal measure of "rich".
For instance, I don't care about money as much as I care about health, and i'm very healthy, therefore I am rich.  The focus on money above all else probably won't make you happy.
150  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Reddit’s science forum banned climate deniers. on: January 13, 2016, 03:02:57 AM
Governments can reduce the amount of carbon that is put into the air by making it a cost to business yes.
This is just one of several possible measures, what in your opinion would help?
151  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate islam? on: January 13, 2016, 01:30:00 AM
I'll let you in on a secret B, God and science are anathema.  If you mix god with science you ruin the cake.

Enjoy your sour tart.
152  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Would you eat a human? on: January 13, 2016, 01:22:36 AM
It might solve some problems, but I imagine removing half the worlds population would cause massive unforseen problems.  Though the rest of the planets plants and creatures would probably thanks us.
Another way to do this would be for the world to have a 1 child policy for a generation..  no-one gets eaten then =)
153  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Reddit’s science forum banned climate deniers. on: January 13, 2016, 01:16:42 AM
No-ones saying humans are the controlling everything, why don't you skepticscrazys go and campaign about vaccines or guns or something else you care deeply about.
Soon enough, developed countries will have to begin taking in millions of climate refugees from low lying islands, which will make the current refugee crisis look like child's play.  But it will be too late then... and the carbon taxes you didnt want to pay, the petrol tax you didnt want to pay, those solar rebates you didnt want to pay will come and bite you in your ass.

I'm not sure you know what 'scientifically' means, perhaps look in that dictionary of yours..
155  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate islam? on: January 11, 2016, 10:38:21 AM
I want it my way?
No I don't want people to get divided by something as stupid as their imaginary friends, i'd rather everyone live peacefully together.
156  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate islam? on: January 11, 2016, 09:35:29 AM
No-one seems to judge Christians based upon the Lord's resistance army.. but maybe they should!

Quote
Many native Americans - American Indians - are born with a weakness that makes them much more vulnerable to alcohol. Their choice is to exploit the weakness and become alcoholics of the first magintude, or not.

Homosexual attraction is similar. It doesn't have as much to do with the built-in weakness. It has way more to do with making choices that indulge that weakness.

If you took a look around at nature and especial how nature acts in your life, you would KNOW that there is a God. You wouldn't have to believe it. Belief would encompass the attributes of God, rather than His existence.

In the face of the complexity of nature, everyone knows that God exists. It is only great training in ignorance that suggests that God might not exist.

What you are missing is this, homosexuality is genetic.  You are born with it.
Also if you look around at nature, at evolution at the universe it should be impossible to believe in god, but you have been indoctrinated into a system so you believe it.

Good day.

It's just a shame that a non-islamic group like IS call themselves muslim and tar all those who actually follow the religion.

heres a little joke for you to illustrate my point:

So an ISIS fighter is manning a checkpoint and stops the car of a Christian couple.
ISIS guy: "Are you Muslim?"
Christian man: "Yes."
ISIS guy: "If you are a Muslim, then recite a verse of Quran."
Christian man recited a verse from the Bible.
ISIS member: "Ok yallah go."
Later his wife tells him: "I cannot believe the risk you just took.
Why did you tell him that we are Muslims?
If he knew you were lying he would have killed both of us."
" but don't worry! If they knew the Quran they would not kill people" answered the Husband.
