141  Economy / Speculation / Re: Return of the bull? on: January 08, 2020, 12:51:58 PM
Bitcoin is silently pushing up for the past few days, what could be the reason, could it be because of the halving coming up later or that the bulls are back in town.

There are a mixture of different reasons for sure. Halving is one of them for sure. It is also possible that the events turning out in the Middle Eastern region of the world have pushed some investors to shift into crypto. It is also possible that Bitcoin is bought more than sold right now.
142  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bot trading domination: Time to panic? on: January 08, 2020, 03:40:29 AM
The subject of this thread is kind of absurd. It is somehow like "the market is dumping: time to panic?" I mean, why panic? Is that even an option? What now if the trading platforms are dominated by bots? Is that something new around here? That has been the reality even before. Furthermore, they are not as brilliant as a trader who does the trading manually. In fact we can manipulate trading bots more than they can manipulate us.
143  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: US- Iran Tensions boost Bitcoin price to $24,000 on: January 08, 2020, 03:19:06 AM

I also think that the online world is an open world. Even if Iran has banned and blocked a lot of sites and other applications deemed prohibited under their law, I don't think they will be able to ban communications of a lot of kinds. They cannot ban this forum for example. They cannot cut the internet connection from its people. And if they cannot do that, the citizens of Iran can always find a way to purchase their Bitcoin elsewhere. Also, within Iran, it is peaceful. There is no war inside their country. What took place happened in Iraq.

They can ban access to anything they want to. However, the users can simply use a VPN to get around it. It's the same thing that happens in China. The price is not at $24,000 or like I said, people would be buying up as much Bitcoin as they possibly could and making an easy 3x their investment by simply selling it to someone local. I'm almost positive all of the locals have access to places to buy Bitcoins as well. So they would be pretty stupid to buy at $24,000.

Which makes me conclude that the price is made-up obviously. They are most probably trying to cause hype in Bitcoin so that people will start buying. End of story.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: 50,000 Toba Coins For Sale!!! on: January 08, 2020, 02:55:02 AM
Not aware of their volume though.
I looked to their main ann thread and this was the link for their coin on graviex: https://graviex.net/markets/tobabtc

But when visiting it redirects you to another coin which is "gio"

https://graviex.net/markets/giobtc

Why is it like that? did they changed to 'gio'?

I don't have an idea what happened to their coin. What I know is that GIO is the ticker of Gravio's coin which is the coin of the exchange Graviex. Graviex and Gravio (GIO) are part of their ecosystem. The ticker of Toba Coin is TOBA if I am not mistaken.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Danger that awaits few coins on: January 08, 2020, 02:30:45 AM

The feeling was heaven at that time. I know of some people who sold some because there was already huge money. I did not because I felt so positive and perhaps greedy. I was thinking there was still some more money in the days and months to come. The prediction of Bitcoin even rose to $25,000. Well, everybody knows how it ended.

Everyone thinks that the price of bitcoin will soon rise to $ 25,000, it makes sense if the price of bitcoin can redeem that price and that will happen if a big pump occurs.
I know this is the beginning of investors starting to move on the exchange to have as much bitcoin as possible to approach halving, why halving is very important because looking at history before prices can soar high with its new ATH.

But the previous halving is also telling us that the rise in price of Bitcoin after halving is not immediate. It will take time. It took months before the price of Bitcoin rose to a significant level after the halving was implemented. I am not saying that what happened in the past is going to happen again in the coming months. It is even possible that the halving that everyone is talking about will not really push the price of Bitcoin up.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥 Breaking the stereotypes 🔥 Exchange of illiquid tokens for real money 🔥 on: January 08, 2020, 02:05:24 AM
Well, the problem with illiquid tokens is that there are so many sellers but so few or even zero buyers. I have not read your project design but from my concern alone it seems insurmountable already. We have thousands of shitcoins after all.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Danger that awaits few coins on: January 07, 2020, 04:08:28 AM
That is true. There are actually many investors, especially altcoin investors, who left the market frustrated and disappointed because of what happened to their investment. But they are partly to blame. They were joining the bandwagon when there was hype, when the market was very bullish. They were too fearful of missing the train that they joined when the prices are high.
Well, everyone was so positive that time and actually we don't expect that the bubble will burst anytime. I hold mostly my alts and I've seen my portfolio dive which is too late to sell.

50,000 Toba Coins for sale sent to wallet fast!!! Not listed on an exchange to my knowledge. Make offers here please, thanks.

Toba Coin is already listed on Graviex. Not aware of their volume though.

I think there are so many sellers of Toba Coins because this is premined.

Good luck with your sale.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: selling thorecoin only 300$ per 1 on: January 07, 2020, 03:25:03 AM
Why not just sell it on an exchange?
-Dave

if you read at his trust you will saw that the token he want to sell is a fake token that has different smart-contract with the real token.
with this, he already made multiple requests for a loan using the fake token he has but unfortunately, the lender is smart and knows that the collateral is a fake token.

Although smart people here caught this one fake man, how about the others?

I am a little worried hearing that a token could be faked.

What if an ordinary person bought it? What if the buyer is not aware of the smart-contract difference and what he is only seeing is the same ticker and when he checked the price in CMC would confirm that the price offered is indeed much lower than the actual market price?
150  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: US- Iran Tensions boost Bitcoin price to $24,000 on: January 07, 2020, 03:04:48 AM
For as long as the effect on the price of Bitcoin is isolated only in Iran, this is not something everyone should be celebrating. There is no real boost in the actual price of Bitcoin if this is the case. Bitcoin is global and it should grow globally. It should not just be growing with a specific area where there is violence.
Apart from celebrating the price of bitcoin in Iran we should also be consigned with war tension between the two countries and its consequences to the citizens particularly Iran after it had turns to a full blown war.

We cannot feel the rise of bitcoin at the expense of what is happening right now, because in the end if the worst scenario of the two countries is carried out it will be a nightmare for the world including humanity, this is no longer a matter of bitcoin and the economy but a matter of humanity.

The effect of this violence will be more damaging and costly in terms of human lives and properties. The benefit is nothing compared to it, even if this war will cause Bitcoin's price to rise until $50,000.

And also, is this really true? Is Bitcoin really that huge there o is this another news written by fake journalists and FOMO sparkers?

There was a post the other day in one of the trading sections about a guy from Iran not having his KYC go through because of his citizenship. My first thought was surely Bitcoin isn't that popular there or is probably even banned by their government. I guess not.. I also seriously doubt that Bitcoin is $24,000 in Iran right now. There would a flood of Iranians on here trying to buy up as much Bitcoin as they possibly could at current rates. Surely they get their coins from the same places that we do.

I also think that the online world is an open world. Even if Iran has banned and blocked a lot of sites and other applications deemed prohibited under their law, I don't think they will be able to ban communications of a lot of kinds. But do not forget that still you can made a huge profit on altcoins. Newcomers come again in the next bull run and similiar hype like in 2017 we will see. They won't know what they're buying at all in the future  Cheesy. And we will sell them these altcoins and buy Bitcoin!  Cool
No one knows when the next hype will happen or it will happen again. There will be always new investors but i am more affraid for old investors that decided to leave this kind of investment becaause of affraid of loosing more money. It will be harder for them to get back the trust on them to invest again in crypto.

That is true. There are actually many investors, especially altcoin investors, who left the market frustrated and disappointed because of what happened to their investment. 152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Liquidity pushes IEO projects up on: January 06, 2020, 03:45:36 AM
To developers out there, if you still don't know what can easily make your project successful, the answer is liquidity, if the exchange you want to use to raise fund has no big liquidity you won't get better results, Best IEO results are from top exchanges, think very well

You are wrong calling out to developers and making it appear as if liquidity is the silver bullet that will make their project successful. That is not true. Liquidity is just a simple aftereffect of a project with a working product, an active team, vibrant partnerships, and so many other factors. Liquidity cannot just be given out by the exchange however large it may be. Remember that even the largest exchanges are delisting coins because they do not have the liquidity.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can I earn 12.5% BTC in 1-2 days ?! on: January 06, 2020, 03:21:45 AM
Hello, I like the COCOS team and the project. Short term fell to 8 sats. I bought $ 7,000 on 9sats!
.8 sats very good price. Increasing my purchases. If you buy 8 and sell 9, you get a 12.5% gain! Let's see if we can make it.

https://www.binance.com/en/trade/COCOS_BTC

I have done trading before similar to this. And in my experience this is not as easy as you present. In fact, this is not happening in 1-2 days. This happens very seldom. When you buy it at 8 sats and sell that at 9 sats, if you have bought a large amount, your order will be falling in a very long line. It will only be filled after several days of waiting. It is not possible to just jump from 8 and 9 sats very quickly.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DO YOU feeL THE MARKET WILL CRASH TOO ? on: January 06, 2020, 02:58:55 AM
Huh
I have this impression bitcoin will go very very very low and bringing all alts with him,
ETH to 80$
BTC to 1000 $....
LTC to 10 $...
Its not FUD here, just my point of view , recent news, china, bans, thiefs, predictions, use ?

Cheers Kiss

Go out and breathe some fresh air. This may ease your emotions a bit. This is nothing but an emotional reaction to the bad news surrounding us. But you need not worry about them really. Bitcoin and the altcoins that you have mentioned have been continuously performing even in the middle of the most unfortunate news month after month, year after year. You just need to keep them.

156  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 3 strategies for crypto portfolio management on: January 06, 2020, 02:17:20 AM
Beside those strategies, one of the best also to do is DOCUMENTATION, you should do that. Like creating your own journal, even it is online or in your notebook.
By this way, you will have your records and you can use that in the future to manage your portfolio and have records how did you made this and thatm

Using a spreadsheet is much better and easier. Computation is not going to be manual as compared to doing it on a page in your notebook. Much better if you use google spreadsheet so that you can access and save it anytime and anywhere you are.

158  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to read trading charts? on: January 05, 2020, 03:44:58 AM
One vote for tradingview.com. Explore their user friendly site. They are offering more than crypto markets. They also have stocks and other markets. They even have a gauging meter indicating whether it is buying time or not.

But more than that, try to watch tutorial videos first about charting. Much better if you start knowing the different charting tools.
159  Economy / Economics / Re: Halving is approacing: HOLD YOUR BITCOINS AND NEVER SELL THEM on: January 05, 2020, 03:21:35 AM
I agree, but I do thinks it’s okay to spend some as ling as you have made a good profit. Otherwise, there was no need to buy the Bitcoins to begin with. If you just hold all of them, then they dot do you any good.

Yes, that is the best thing to do with your Bitcoin. HODLing is encouraged if what you are about to do with your Bitcoin is to sell it for fiat or to trade them with altcoins. But if you intend to use it to buy the things that you want, then it is more advisable to just spend them. That would help Bitcoin more. The rest of your Bitcoins you will HODL.
Actually his suggestions is good if you have another job or sideline besides trading because it is not advisable to store your bitcoins if you dont have another job or sideline coz come to think of it, if you stock your bitcoin or altcoins in your cold wallet, where are you going to get the money for your budget and for your daily needs or your other financial related agendas?

You need to use some to buy the things that you need. If you cannot spend them as Bitcoin then you need to convert them into fiat but convert only the amount that you particularly need. The rest you will keep as Bitcoin. There is still growth waiting for them in the future.

Great. I thought you are laughing at my post at first. I did not realize LOL is your native token. Great exchange at Huobi but the data in coinmarketcap is lacking. Circulating supply is not indicated. Will contact you after reading more of your project.
