141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can any ALTCOIN ever overtake Bitcoin ? on: August 31, 2018, 07:58:11 PM
It's almost 8 months of 2018 and we have not seen any reasonable hikes for the altcoins,
It was only Ethereum that hit a good value of almost 1.4k$ in the beginning of the year . Since then it's pretty dull.

Forget overtaking can any ALTCOIN ever reach a value near Bitcoin.

Meanwhile I can't imagine that Bitcoin can be replaced by an altcoin sometime. Even Ethereum wasn't in the long run and won't make it in the future. Bitcoin is the leading currency in the crypto world. It's the first, big crypto coin, has the most support and the strongest network. That's probably why no altcoin will be able to take the place of Bitcoin in the future. It would still be possible, that happens, but very unlikely. There will be altcoins alongside Bitcoin that will hold their own but never surpass Bitcoin.  Wink

I don't believe any one can do so. bitcoin has had a lot of time to grow and given that it was the first coin in the market, it has had a lot of time to solidify its place as the king of all of the coins. All of the other coins depend on the price of bitcoin for their prices so that means that if the altcoins are growing then bitcoin is just growing just as much.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How will ETF will affect altcoins if approved? on: August 31, 2018, 07:46:53 PM
If it is approved then the price of the altcoins will start to recover and do well again. With such an approval there will be more trust from people who are not yet investing in the market to put their money in it and with that more money will come to the market which means more demand and with more demand comes more growth.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining or Trading which one is safe? on: August 30, 2018, 05:13:59 PM
Mining would be the safer option here since there isn't any of investing your money directly into the coin and with trading there is always a lot of risks of losing your coins if you end up making one wrong move. With mining though you have to understand that the cost of operating can be very high which makes it a lot harder to achieve good results.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time To Sell Alts For Bitcoin? on: August 29, 2018, 07:14:59 PM
It can be a good thing if you are selling the alts for bitcoin especially if the altcoins are the ones that you are sure would not be able to make it out of the bear market without dying out then you should definitely be selling the alts for bitcoin. Then you can hold the bitcoin until the next bull where you can sell them and then make a profit from them instead of incurring losses with the altcoins.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the main thing should you know before buy ICO ? on: August 29, 2018, 06:49:35 PM
One of the main things that is important to know before buying ICO is that there are just as much risks involved as there are rewards to be gotten from it. There is no telling what will happen with the ICO or if they will end up getting listed on exchanges. That is why the only money that you use when investing in ICOs are the ones that you are absolutely sure that you are comfortable losing.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are investors got tired of ICOs? on: August 28, 2018, 10:39:23 AM
Yes investors are tired of ICOs, investors are tired of investing in projects and ending up being left with worthless coins after the people take out the money and let the coin crash. There are way too many scams disguised as ICOs, people are investing less and less into the icos, they are making less and less money because people are tired of getting scammed.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will end the hype of ICO ? on: August 28, 2018, 10:27:04 AM
Well I would not be sad to see that ICOs get regulated or limited in the near future, they are way too much of a menace and they are scamming way too many people. A lot of people are starting to take notice of this and if they continue this way then the government will most likely step in to curb the menace just like they did in china.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you are too Scared to Loss, then you are not cut out to win as well! on: August 27, 2018, 12:22:08 PM
Yes I agree it is that simple. You have to understand that there is no reward where there is no risks. It isn't easy but the kind of risks that you are willing to take determines the kind of gains that you are expecting to get out of it. I am tired of seeing people getting scared of some price drops, they should just sell off their coins and leave the real investors to remain in the market and make their profits.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much do you invest in an ICO? on: August 27, 2018, 12:16:27 PM
Only enough that I know that I am very willing to lose. The odds with ICOs are not really good so you always have to bear in mind that there is the possibility that the coins will not end up hitting exchanges or that it could belong to scammers and they could run off with the money that you have invested in the project. So I pretty much put only my disposable income in them.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Experts export bitcoin price to hit $250,000 on: August 25, 2018, 11:41:07 AM
It is going to happen but it is a matter of time and also a matter of how much patience you have as an investor because we will get there but it will most likely take years for us to get to such a price. The thing about cryptos is that they will never stop growing and even after it hits that price, it will keep growing to even more heights.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: whether the new coin can survive? on: August 25, 2018, 11:30:49 AM
It really depends on the project and the kind of product that they are offering their investors. It does not matter if a project is new or not, as long as it is good and promising then a lot of people would invest in the coin that is just how it works. If the creators of the coins make sure that they are working on the coin and improving it then it will survive.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will altcoins ever recover their value? on: August 24, 2018, 07:49:21 PM
Well the value of the altcoins are dependent on the value of bitcoin so as long as bitcoin recovers in value then all of the altcoins will recover their value too. Really it is just a matter of time. It might take a long time and we might all end up waiting for longer than we have anticipated but the fact is that the value of the coins will recover at some point.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why every coin dumping now? I am losing huge money on: August 24, 2018, 07:44:55 PM
You are not the only one losing money, we are all losing money. I would say to you though that holding now and enjoying the reward later is better than any choice that you might be taking now. It is hard to watch the value of your coins fall and watch yourself lose so much money but the principle of you only lose when you sell still stands here. As long as you do not sell your coins then you can always make all of that money back.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Volumes are growing. on: August 23, 2018, 04:12:49 PM
I don't know if the volumes are really growing because if it was then we would be seeing better prices but then again it is not like the price of bitcoin has gone down anyway so it could be that the prices are growing. If this is true then it is very good news and it could mean that we could be seeing a lot of recovery in the market right about now.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 99% of all projects is worthless and not worth a cent. What do you think? on: August 23, 2018, 04:01:09 PM
I have to agree. Just look at the kind of coins that are being put into the market right now, there is way too much of them that one cannot help but think that there is no way that the coins are not scams. They have nothing to offer and the only thing keeping them in the market is because people are trading with the coins, once they stop trading then the value of the coin plummets to zero.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Panic buy and panic sell | chance on: August 22, 2018, 04:59:25 PM
Making profit from panic buying and selling is just by chance as you have mentioned. It is never advisable to panic buy and panic sell because in that moment you are not thinking clearly as you are only making the decision based on fear and the emotions that you are feeling. There is large margin of error with this which means you can end up making a lot of losses.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Doing 2 or more ICO facebook campaign? on: August 22, 2018, 04:55:14 PM
I think it is possible to do this but you have to check the rules of the campaigns to make sure that they allow you to do their facebook campaign alongside others because there are some bounties that have some very strict rules. Other than that I think that you can do two or more as long as you meet up with their weekly requirements.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are there so many assholes in ICO industry? on: August 21, 2018, 05:30:05 PM
I think that is because they are making way too much money. I know that at some point you must have heard people talking about how money tends to change people for the worse and most of the time that is true. It is what we are seeing now in the ICO industry. People with too much money thinking that they are better than everyone else so they treat others terribly. It is so sad.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good time to invest in an ICO? on: August 21, 2018, 05:16:59 PM
There is no way to tell, the market is currently in a bear right now so there is no way for us to know which bounties will thrive in such conditions. It is a given that it is better to participate in icos during a bull market as they tend to do well by then because so many people are more willing to invest in new projects when the prices of the coins are up, you could try your luck but with a little amount instead.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are some stable altcoins ? on: August 20, 2018, 10:42:16 AM
There are no stable altcoins. Volatility is now one of the defining characteristics of cryptocurrencies which is sad but at the same time it is the reason that we can make money from it as investors and traders. That aside though, the only stable coin would have to be tether but the thing is that there are a lot of people that would argue that tether is not a cryptocurrency which makes it hard to place.
