141  Economy / Speculation / Re: how do you think about bitcoin prices from last year compared to this year? on: February 27, 2018, 10:29:45 PM
I think bitcoin prices have decreased compared to last year.

No shit sherlock.

Don't see the point of your discussion. It is quite clear that the prices are down compared to the highs of last year. Now, what else do you want to discuss aside from the obvious. :/

If you want to compare it to the price it had at the exact same date as last year, it is still way up as it was just about $1,000 at this time of the year last year. But from your thread you seem to be talking about the highs of bitcoins last year, so I don't think you meant that.
142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How has past few months affected your gambling? on: February 27, 2018, 10:19:47 PM
As owner of a gambling guide - Bitcoin Gambling 101, I am curious as to how the crazy December and then January price changes affected your gambling wins/ losses?
With the crazy drop of bitcoin prices I no longer feel good waging more of my bitcoins because prices have dropped..
I really liked the play less for a higher value as I knew that getting to 0.1 BTC was a good profit for a day now is a different story, I have now concentrated more on investing and less on gambling.

Prices shouldn't affect your gambling, it is not the basis of you gambling anyway. This can be inferred from your statement that you base your profit in BTC. Though problem is you have that mindset that gambling is something profitable which is a fallacy. It is good though that you moved on to trading for profit as that is something a lot more promising if you intend to profit..
143  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-02-23]CNBC - Your bitcoin may be lost for good if you die without a plan on: February 25, 2018, 11:50:03 PM
This is indeed a problem since, unlike fiat currency, we can't really just print more bitcoins in case the supply depletes. In time, little by little (or even in a fell sweep), the amount of bitcoins will likely diminish due to the fact of people dying or forgetting their bitcoins or losing their wallets, etc., and result to the total amount of supply to be incredibly insufficient to support the demand. Two things might happen from there, either the price goes up or the use of it dies due to the fact it is unusable. We still have a very long way to go before we even reach 21 million bitcoins and we already have these problems.
144  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-02-24] Elon Musk Reveals Personal Crypto Holdings on: February 25, 2018, 11:38:20 PM
Elon is too freaking busy with changing the world and isn't wasting time with useless ICOs and altcoins. So he has bitcoins, but just because someone gifted him some. Though I wonder how much, maybe he has a few hundreds maybe? Well, not really something I want him to be in, I would rather let him be in his own thing so he can continue to change the world as we know it.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you trading ALTs? on: February 24, 2018, 11:41:28 PM
From early Jan to till now I would like to know how is your crypto currency trading going on? To me, market is not stable. I bought lot's of ALTs and all of them are down. Some of them are even over 70% down. How are things going on with you too?

Appreciate sharing your experience.

Thanks
I am not yet trading. This time is a very bad time to start trading because as you said, almost all are down and it will only result into money loss. I might start trading next month because my money will be given by that time and I will choose wisely the alts that has the most potential. May I ask what alts did you bought? It might give me a reference and that will really save me from doing bad decisions in trading.

It is quite unpredictable right now, the price of bitcoins has been so volatile recently that it is quite hard to read the market whether it would rise or fall instantly. Whenever there is a push for bitcoin prices to go up, alts will go down inversely. With this kinds of price movements with big swings, it is quite scary to place trades as it could turn out that you're at the losing end.
146  Economy / Economics / Re: How would Bitcoin react to a global financial crisis? on: February 24, 2018, 11:33:16 PM
Price of cryptocurrencies will skyrocket if crisis happens

That has no basis what so ever. How do you think will it skyrocket if it happens? People might not even care about cryptocurrencies if there would be a financial crisis, and probably the whole world will just rely on barter to live and forget about any from of money which is the worst case scenario as that would be the hardest way. But I don't think cryptocurrencies would be the go to when things go south.
147  Economy / Marketplace / Re: BEST ESCROW MARKETPLACE ?? lear net on: February 24, 2018, 10:47:06 PM
Hello, im a Bitcointalk.org account seller, and im seraching a marketplace (on the clear net) that use Escrow. I was on bitify.com , but i dont know why, they suspended my listings.

Can someone tell me other escrow markets??

Do you need escrow for yourself or for you buyers? If you do need escrow as of now, I would say to start off by gaining reputation on these forums by posting and using on-site escrows first. After you build up a positive reputation, you can move towards an autobuy (rocketr, satoshibox, etc.). Of course, this requires that you don't scam anyone, that you sell legal items, and that there are no issues with your product during that first phase of selling on forums. Building up reputation is huge, as it allows you to be more fluid in how you sell.

Though what he is actually selling is technically not illegal but greatly frowned upon so no escrow will be interested enough to escrow your deals for they would also be involved in the deal which makes them accomplices to your transaction. I would say that you should just forget selling those accounts, it's useless anyway to buy them for anyone. People should just consider making their own.
148  Economy / Marketplace / Re: seller refuse to meetup to selll miners but accept escrow your thouhts? on: February 24, 2018, 10:40:01 PM
Hi I found one seller but he refuse to meet before I make escrow payment? He sell many miners for 45KEUR... ok maybe because of this amount but still you could meetup other place with less miners split order etc.
What do you think it's a scam? He allow to see product after escrow payment. and its not cash but BTC payment

It would be best to escrow payment with a really trusted member and use a multisig wallet since it is worth that much. Since it is that big, I would say that you should get something like 3 of 4 multisig or even 3 of 5 multisig. Get two to three escrows so that you can mitigate a lot of risk since it is a huge amount. Just be careful sending money to just anyone and do you own due diligence!
149  Economy / Speculation / Re: Have the fees gone down? on: February 24, 2018, 10:15:48 PM
Based on the memory pool right now, it would have been down from December till early February this year. Though its rising again, but great to see that big clog was gone. I do think the memory pool is quite sensitive to the price increase or probably the other way around, this might be a conspiracy theory but I think there are entities behind the rise and fall of the memory pool as well as the price and everything is correlated. Or, maybe I'm wrong.
150  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: New Crypto Lottery with x99 Win Rate on: February 23, 2018, 09:46:03 PM
Hey everyone!
Just launch a new crypto game https://onlot.net and looking for feedback.
Here is a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sq_EcABAF2c.
Thanks!

Lotteries don't really go well, I think the reason is that it is quite slow unlike dice, slots, and all other casino games. Basically, in my opinion, the crypto users don't really like slow paced games. More of they want to quickly see results like how crypto does in terms of price changes which is nothing short of volatile and they can see results quite instantaneous, this is why I believe users have brought such mindset.

Good luck on your platform though.
151  Economy / Services / Re: League of Legends Gifting Service (CHEAPEST WAY TO OBTAIN SKINS) on: February 21, 2018, 03:59:36 AM
Probably it is best to state which server you are on, since I believe you cannot gift across other servers. If it was for my server, I would likely buy some from you. But based on the pricing you stated, I think you are on the NA server or somewhere.
152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do all Vietnamese people play Dice/Gambling? on: February 21, 2018, 03:46:37 AM
I met alots of people from VietNam while gambling. They online most of the time ,but they only talk on chatbox for example: Primedice,Stake and many sites i've visited .

Are they addicted  gambling/ making money or they want a  place to comunicate each other?

Or there was no Real Casino on their country?
Im really happy if i can meet Vietnam people here Smiley

Hmm that's such a weird post, at first you say they're gambling and then you say they're chatting lol. I feel dice is the most lovable game by all communities. I'm not exactly aware of the rules, but I feel all culture will opt first for dice, don't you do the same when you go online? I can't play in a site if it doesn't have dice

Indeed, it's not really just vietnamese people that love dice, I think the whole world (especially the cryptocurrency users) are hook at it. Dice is pretty simple, and can be equated to something like a "smile". A smile is a universal language and it transcends language barriers. Dice is like that, it is quite easy to understand and you can just jump right in and play.
153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does crypto market decline affect your gambling? on: February 20, 2018, 06:54:35 PM
Everyone has been affected when the market has declined. When I'm out of funds during that time, I care about the fees as the value of bitcoin is increasing too. But now that the market has dropped and fees went down too, I don't care about the fees anymore.
Previously the fee was too high so I stopped to do BTC transaction and started to play with another coin. The fee actually scared me but now everything is ok It back to normal but the price dropped. now I have enough fund but I will not use to play gambling, I want to save BTC for my future use. I don't like to lose BTC just for my fun. I am ok with playing other cheap coins.
I do stop playing gambling with btc on those times on where the fees was insanely high even more than on the amount that I do tend to play on gambling which is ridiculous if you do decide to proceed but yet it didn't completely stop me on playing since there are another options to play by making use of altcoins but the essence on playing altcoin came from btc is entire different for me.(Its just me).

I also stop when bitcoin fees high, but now a days, bitcoin price down then it is easy for us to play with bitcoin. But now in the coming time i think bitcoin once again will increase a lot of then it will be trouble for us.

Do not gamble with btc or altcoins now as the market have recovered well in few days and seems to be recover more in coming days. So if you happen to lose some games it means you will lose out the opportunity of holding your coins and making some gains as the price continues to rise.

If you just buy then gamble then withdraw and convert the coins back to fiat then there is really no problem. Think of it like you are in a real casino where you trade your fiat for chips and you play with those chips. If you do that then there is really no point in speculating if it would rise or fall, you are only left with just regular and the old fashioned gambling.
154  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Visa Confirms That Coinbase Wasn't Fault For Overcharging Customers on: February 18, 2018, 05:44:39 AM
Still something to be disappointed about a service. There should always be something that could have been done by the service that could have prevented any damage to any user it has. Also if it did happen, the public and the persons affected should be informed and, for the latter, compensated for the damage caused. Well no one is perfect even big companies makes their mistakes. Let's all just hope it doesn't happen again in the future.
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Only 21.000.000 Bitcoins in existance on: February 18, 2018, 05:40:41 AM
I can't see the point of this discussion though. There is nothing here to discuss about the 21 MLN Bitcoin in existence and this is just plainly speculating the price will go up without any basis but the supply of bitcoins being something finite and there is such a thing like correction (like all things traded, this happens).  I would suggest that you further the discussion by adding something new to everyone reading and not some plain BS like this.
156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: List of popular Betting Strategies on: February 16, 2018, 04:26:36 AM
Yeah good read for newbies trying to beat the casino/house. This just gives them an idea that it is possible to win against the casinos in the long run. It should really warn that any of this strategy will not win in the end. I think another user has posted something like this on the forum and he generalized how these strategies work but added a warning that this would never win in the end.

What are you talking about? Unless I click the wrong link, or the OP changed it, then the strategies he mentions are not for casinos. That is a sports betting page, and the strategies are for sports betting. If those were for casino, then I would agree with you, because we can't beat the house edge in the long run, so no point in trying to do that. But when it comes to sports betting, then careful game analysis and good betting strategies and bankroll management could give you great profits, depending on how good you are.

Really good link, and as a sports bet enthusiast I will definitely keep reading those articles.
On a side note, the site could have a better design though.
Well I was generalizing things for gambling when I posted this, hence the word casino. All strategies will never work in the long run, but it is something to start with, since every gambler has his own play style, which will include his own strategy in gambling. As a sports bettor as well, I would say this is a good list to read on because it gives you a more open mind when it comes to gambling. That there are indeed somethings you should consider that would improve you chances of winning. From what I've read on there, I've learned something new on every link.

Agreed with the design.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to find new tokens on exchanges? on: February 16, 2018, 04:18:28 AM
Such information about listing is published in social networks on Twitter, Facebook usually. Look for the coin there and follow the news about it.
I use the same method, use automatic notification about the exchanger you want. Only with twitter or facebook you will get a notification about the newly listed coins.

But if you follow a lot of them for sure you'll get spammed with notifications of other crap they have like promotions and other non-sense. Best to just read the announcement section on the website or wherever they post announcement on wherever you are trading on. There is really no easy way to do this, really.
158  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: 💵 ProfitTrailer - Trading Bot for Binance, Bittrex and Poloniex 🤖 on: February 16, 2018, 04:16:19 AM
We are now more than 13k users in discord server!
Not even sure how you got that many users there, something is fishy with the discord server you have. You just started this service, even Gunbot (the most famous trading bot around here, doesn't even have that much users in their telegram group).

Better cut the crap and bring in something true, I really do smell something fishy.
159  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: February 15, 2018, 12:00:17 AM
I use FJ and everything is good for a long time. It is hard to find this in this community.

Quite true! Been playing here for over 4 years, and not really had any problems with them! This is not just an advertisement, but a testimonial from someone who really did gambled with Fortune Jack over the years. Though I have not really won anything big, but I don't really gamble a lot of money since I am a scardy cat. Tongue

Good luck and I hope you continue to enjoy playing on FJ!
160  Economy / Gambling / Re: Buying offshore betting accounts on: February 14, 2018, 11:51:32 PM
I was wondering if anyone would beinterested in selling a verified account at Betphoenix, Skybook, Betmania, Bet33....Most of the sportbooks available in Europe offer peanut sign up bonuses, reload bonuses are very rare and small. Unfortunately european players are not allowed signing up at most of the offshore bookies like Betphoenix etc.
. Let me know what you think.

Just avoid it. It's not like they have that good promotions anyway. It's like just bait. It makes you think it is good promotions and you are actually getting some benefits, but in fact they are just luring you into gambling more and in the end you lose the money you deposit. That's the case even in online gambling sites. But it is indeed nice to have the bonuses if you would be able to claim them in the end, though usually it is extremely hard to do so.
