141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALL crypto coins are "worthless" right now. Here is why. on: April 11, 2019, 09:28:23 PM
Quite simply put, all coins are worthless right now if crypto is the future of money.  I was looking at the charts and if bitcoin were to rise to $100,000,000 (1 penny per satoshi) at ANY point, that is 20,000x the current price.

In other words, every penny you invest now turns into at least $200 at that point (even if your altcoin is only worth 1 satoshi/coin).  Seems like they are worthless right now compared to what they could be.

The idea is that if you believe altcoins will be world money, why wouldn't you save up as much as you can?
Yes you are very correct, that's why I said we haven't gotten to the best of what we can get from Bitcoin yet and this is the best time to acquire as many Bitcoin as we can acquire because in the nearest future we will always smile. I am a freelancer and I have learnt to save part of the money I get from crypto in crypto every time I am being paid because I have a target and I must achieve that target in order to buy my lambo in few years to come.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lost coins? on: April 11, 2019, 09:11:04 PM
I don't think there can be a function to check if the receiving address has been active unless you are going to create a centralized blockchain which is totally against the idea of crypto entirely, crypto is being your own bank and being able to double check an address before sending is one of the responsibility you have to do once you signed up to make use of crypto, we just need to be more careful when we make use of the crypto platform so that we don't fall victim.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coin is the best in your opinion? Poll on: April 09, 2019, 07:31:38 PM
Apart from ETH, Cardano (ADA) is the next thing I’m considering. Its aim is at democratization of finance and decentralized economy. Lots of things makes this coin to be a good choice and one of them is that the platform is secured. And Charles Hoskinson, one of those that developed Ethereum is one of the creators of ADA. They also work hand to hand with the government regulatory authorities in their quest to fight money laundering.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EDN - EdenChain (Blockchain) on: April 09, 2019, 07:15:57 PM
Lol, hope it's not just a hype created by the admin of the coin to get a lot of investors onboard before they carry out their scam activities. I am talking base on experience because I am a witness of a platform called starcashx that created an hype in their coin driving the price of the coin to $5 and later dumping all the coin they own in the market making the price of the coin next to that of shitcoin.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: - ETHEREUM Preparing To Explode ? - Technical Analysis Today News Price on: April 09, 2019, 06:35:44 PM
I don't think that at the stage we are in the market, we need any analysis to know that we are going to see a bull run in the price of ethereum because it is very obvious that the bull run in Bitcoin must surely affect the price of ethereum in the market, I believe that after the 3rd quarter of the year, we should be seeing the price of eth at $400 or even much more, let's just hope for the best.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to distinguish between good and bad projects on: April 08, 2019, 07:45:58 PM
For me i just look at their whitepaper and look at their project if it is realistic that it can be used in daily life and i always look deeper in the project aim and goals Wink
People say that supply creates its own demand but it is the supply of good or a service is high but its quality is down, it will never create its demand so this is the bottom line. Those coins/projects in the market that are famous and have great projects that can make value in the market, they are the ones you should look for. Many projects have no value in real life but advertisement makes and creates hype in the market that influences the investment pattern of the people. Stay wise.
147  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what trading has made me on: April 07, 2019, 08:55:33 AM
Today's trading with conditions can really change my life by making a lot of profits, because the conditions of bitcoin prices and market prices are in an upward trend. so I believe that trading can also generate regular profits every day
The beauty of the crypto market is that it never stays the same and due to volatility, it is highly exposed and prone towards changes.

A small rise in the market value attracts more speculators and the rise in demand (market forces) help rise the price as well. So trading is a best way to make the money that is making you explore so many other coins as well. It is nice to see you are working 100 hours a week.
148  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Transfer times and fees? on: April 07, 2019, 08:23:28 AM
I do a ton of trades a day, but I have to transfer cryptoccurency from one exchange to another. Since bitcoin transactions take a lot of time and theres a fee, what do you think I can do? Should I sell the bitcoin on the exchange for a fast currency like NANO and then transfer it to the other exchange and then sell the NANO there to get back the BTC? Do I make any sense? Any answer will help thanks 🙂
All transferring of funds are having a fee. Nano has fee when you move it from one wallet to another. Bitcoin has fee and you need to pay for the fee in order to send it to another wallet. All of it has fee but you need to choose between two coins whether what coin does have the lowest fee. But I rather pick NANO since bitcoin transactions is worth .001 or so.
Well the transaction time is not a mater of concern. It has always been instant and might stay the same quick way. Fee is different from coin to coin but do not worry about that either because it is not so high and is very low as compared to what you pay in bank transfers. And think about the rising value in the market, a little fee like that is nothing in front to the rise in the value you get.
149  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cybermiles Testnet help raise CMT token value? on: April 06, 2019, 11:18:48 AM
CMT is good project  that has working product and this project  has the same team development with one of the biggest market place of 5miles. So keep holding this token because the price has potential  to raise to the highest in 2018.
Are you really serious about this, then I have been missing out a lot from what is happening in the crypto space because the truth is that I have never heard of this project until today, well I am going to do my own research on the project and it's viability before I would be able to conclude myself if the project is actually a good one to invest in or it's just an hype being created to create an awareness about the project.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Transfer BTC in stable coins on: April 06, 2019, 10:55:18 AM
I don't really understand what you mean by you are not 18 and will not be able to convert your Bitcoin to stable coin, I don't think it's only on exchanges you can make conversions, you can also make use of platforms like shapeshift or even the blocktrade to swap between coins in minutes, please go make use of any of this platform I have mentioned, you don't even need to have an account with them to carry out a swap which is so cool.
151  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the things to be considered when choosing the appropriate exchange for on: April 06, 2019, 09:20:53 AM
I am new to trading process. I have heard from people coinbase is an exchange and wallet where I can start trading but I am still not clear how this works. Someone. Suggest me how to choose the exchange and advise me of the some exchange names.
I think the major thing to consider when choosing an exchange for trading is the security of the exchange, because once you trade on an exchange that has security threat, your coins are at risk and can be lost at any time to hackers which is why you should make research on the security of an exchange before investing your money into that exchange or leaving your money on that exchange, also make sure that the platform is user friendly to get the best experience.
152  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When making a payment with Bitcoin how much extra to cover transaction fees? on: April 06, 2019, 08:40:07 AM
Hi, I've got some coin on Binance that I would like to withdraw to make a payment (for Gunbot)
How much % should I add to the quoted Gunbot price - to cover transaction fees?

(ok I looked this up  - and i ~think current transaction fee is about 0.5$ per transaction? I'm not sure if that sounds right.)
I don't think you are the one to select a particular transaction fee when making withdrawal from any exchange, only wallet that has the feature of one selecting the particular transaction fee they want the miner to charge. I think once you make the transaction, the fee would be deducted from your binance account, most exchanges have a standard fee of 0.0005 BTC as withdrawal charges and I think it might be same for binance, though I am not sure about it.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to check if ICO is scam or not? on: April 05, 2019, 07:09:51 PM
If the site is bad, I refuse. if the idea is bad, I refuse. If it is exchanged with a bad site, I refuse. Now it is difficult to find a good project but you need to know the managers from whom you take them. Mean what the project think. Invest in others or not.
Their site says a lot about them. I do consider, if I visit the site and it looks bad, I just start losing interest immediately. Some of them are even worst to the extent you don’t really have to move on, just quit from there immediately. Their idea is another thing, if it’s a stupid idea, whether scam or not, I’m not going to invest in it cause I already know it’s not going to work out.
154  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin be worthless? on: April 05, 2019, 08:33:46 AM
My answer is a swift & painful drop to zero.

In a MarketWatch column, I wrote last May-June, I thought what it would take for bitcoin to become worthless. Bitcoin is getting close to that point. once Bitcoin’s price falls below its cost of mining, the incentive to mine will deteriorate, thrusting bitcoin into a death spiral. Because the ledger that maintains the records of who owns what — bitcoin is, after all, a set of encrypted numbers that cannot establish the ownership of anything — bitcoin will become worthless.

You are right. if the cost of producing bitcoin (mining) is higher then bitcoin price then it's obvious that the Bitcoin will become worthless if it continues like that. But the question is why people are selling bitcoin for less price then ? I mean the miners and traders are the ones who decide the price. then why don't they increase the price higher than the mining costs ?

2nd thing is there is always a solution, right now it seems bitcoin will become worthless but maybe developers figure it out somehow. with better and cheap mining equipment.
155  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Africa buy and sell of Crypto on the increase? on: April 03, 2019, 11:13:49 AM
It is not unusual thing possible to happen in Africa since crypto adoption were keep growing. That numbers of transactions signifies that their people were started to used cryptos and putting some money for investment. If this will continue to grow, it really give some impact to the market. It gonna be right that their leaders never think of banning crypto and choose to open this into their people.
Yes you are right. Africa and Philippines are the only countries that accept changes, be it in financial markets or in governance. This trend of cryptocurrency induction was getting bigger and bigger in Africa and it is happening eventually. In addition, if you look at the recent news that some universities in Manila started teaching about Blockchain to the students, you would realize how enthusiastic these people are about the use of the technology.
156  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which bitcoin exchange do you use on: April 03, 2019, 08:54:32 AM
binance. I think at this moment binance is the top class market place for bitcoin or other altcoin too. They have unique system and various tools to trade which very much easy to learn beginners. In my opinion they have also good security system that make you unworried for your coin. You can also BitForex or OKEx if you want. Wink
They need to, with good security, they can maintain their good reputation.
A lot of option for traders in case Binance will loss it's reputation but they won't allow that to happen as they will surely loss a big money and will be hard for them to recover and come back at their current standing now.

And with every new user comes money so yeah, security should be the top priority for any exchange. And binance also has a good, easy to ise mobile app that makes it easier for users on the go to check their assets or the price movements without opening browsers on their mobile devices.
Well there are many Bitcoin exchanges and you can search them out on Google. Binance has been a good exchange and I love using it. But in addition to Binance, Bittrex is also widely used because of its user friendly interface and easy design. Try to invest in Bitcoin right now. This is going to help you a lot to make big money as the price rises and you know that the market price is rising.
157  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dangers of a HODL’er: on: April 03, 2019, 08:31:32 AM
There are definitely some dangers in holding, if you are holding some shitcoins they may fail in future, but generally, it is compared safe than other types of investment.
Holding our coins does not guarantee it will all give us a profit, that's why you need to learn how to diversify it.
Also, there are coins that we buy now thinking it has a potential, but it's possible it could turn into a shit coin in the future, and I experience that.
In the long run, it gives profit for sure but if we focus on the current market, we can realize that a mere holding of Bitcoin is not wise than investing some of your Bitcoins in tokens sold during IEO conducted by digital exchanges. They are profitable and I believe that one should not miss out this opportunity because there is a very huge risk reduced to fractions by IEO for investors.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you know about blockchain games? on: March 31, 2019, 09:04:39 PM
I am not too familiar with blockchain games but what I know about it is that there are not much difference between blockchain games and the normal games we have already, the only difference is that users who play this games with each other online get rewarded with blockchain tokens or coin which can be later withdrawn by this users to an exchange and can then be swapped for other coins, you get paid playing blockchain games.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaining Access To Your Private Keys From Your Public Key - Possible? on: March 31, 2019, 08:43:22 PM
Public key and private key are 2 separate entities and one cannot have access to your private key by having access to your public key. Public key are used to monitor transactions done in your account, that means if anyone have access to your public key, they can see all what you are doing in crypto but can't have access to your coin, but anyone who have access to your private key has full control of your coin.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WanChain is cheap now and looks very promising, anyone buying ? on: March 31, 2019, 08:28:49 PM
We have a lot of projects coming up this days and the competition is very high so I can't actually know if it's a good buy or if it's actually going to get to the price you predicted, it all depends on the team that are behind the project and their commitment to making the project a success.

If the team are very committed to the development of the project, then I think we should see move in price in the nearest future, else the reverse would be the case.
