Well IMO 800$ is very achievable it is just one pump away.  I do hope that the pump we've all been waiting for will happen in weekends so that I can join the rally all day. Well wish the best, I do hope that what we all hope for will happen. yeah, it is not hard for bitcoin to reach that much value, the value of bitcoin will start to increase after halving tomorrow and within a few hours it will reach to $800, for that yesterday I bout some bitcoins as i have believe on it. In 2 or 3 weeks after the halving, if there is few coins to be dumped on the market, the price will be higher. That is our hope. Fewer mined coins means fewer dumped coins. But if the price is higher, old coins will also be dumped. It depends on the mass adoption of the bitcoin. If there is good usage of the bitcoin, the price will rise a lot. |

It's possible, but nothing has come of it so far. Given my current investments I'd rather it not fall...
The Bitcoin price has almost reached $800 a week ago but just before the price was going to reach it then it dropped again. I still believe that it is possible for the price to reach $800 this year. I think the price of the bitcoin will hovering around the $700 range for a few more months waiting for the next push up. |

It can even go up till 2000$ this year 2016,and that is a new record high for bitcoin.only a month left before the awaited bitcpin halving will occur.
If the price of bitcoin goes to $2000, then there will be a big crash and there will another two years of bear market. If the price of bitcoin goes to $2000 in 12 to 24 months, there will not be a big bubble, the price will not crash. |

The price of the Bitcoin is now going to rise slowly and that is really nice for the people with already Bitcoin so that is perfect so they can earn some more money later.
But of course it will be really hard to know what will happen later in the future but the value of the Bitcoin was already stable for a long time so the time to rise must be soon.
It would be good for the bitcoin price to rise slowly. If the price just rises 5% a month, it will rise a lot in long term. The bitcoin price has risen over 60% in the last 60 days. It is much faster than 5% a months. Is that good? |

Its bad to see so much people that is negative about the Bitcoin and that is just only because the value is not rising and it was stable for a long time and it is not not even reducing.
And the halving is also coming so it is really nice if the value is rising slowly now so we can sell it maybe after the halving.
I see the bitcoin with some negativity because the block size is too small to facilliate the fast transactions. The block size will be increased in the Bitcoin Core, or the SegWit. A 2MB block size increase will also happen. |

800 dollar is a pretty high amount if you ask me and I think its possible to go to such high amounts so long the halving will be good this year.
The $800 is quite high. I do not think it will be reached before the halving. It is possible later this year. |

Price is volatile, from time to time it moves up and down, we can't predict its movement and I don't think it settled at $420 - $430, it keeps on moving, even now, it goes up above $420 last day and drop to lower than $410 yesterday... So, in conclusion price is unpredictable, as answer to OP's question..
The price is still only $425. So the price has not changed much over the last 8 days. It is quite stable now. Actually, if read the original post, you'd have noticed the date was in December 2015. So, the price hasn't moved since December 2015 til now. The price actually did move in between December and now. Having the same start and end doesn't mean that time between them was flat. We had up move to $450 and we went down to $360. If you managed to buy at $380s and sell at $430 that is quite a chunky gain. The price of bitcoin has reached the price set in the last December. So it is good recovery from the recent lows. The price is quite stable for the last two months. That bodes well for the medium price rise after halving. |
