Is the fork still planned for tomorrow? Should we be moving coins off wallet for this?
yes the fork is right on shedule. first i'll change the code to the new APR %, have it compiled and distributed amongst a few people who run services etc, then i'll add the nodes to the source and have it compiled for public release. most likely the 1337 wallets on both exchanges will go into maintenance for a few moments but since its not alot of new code to review i dont expect it to take too long. you dont have to do anything besides making a backup of your wallet and replacing the .exe after its released. Thanks for the update, Hopefully the exchanges aren't too far behind |

If I understand this correctly... New Roadmap will be out in the coming days with freelance market on the agenda as well. Now won't that be a surprise  One thing which i hope STEPS will look into is the "Smart Blockchain" concept to tie in with the current market platforms. There has been a lot of real world interests (financial instttutions) looking into how they can leverage off the "private blockchain" concept to streamline some of the banking/records keeping etc. Just look at RADS, FCT and HIRE..well HIRE could have been good if the Devs didn't f%#k it up... Dev, could you please provide me some more information on the coin supply. In the OP there are 90M coins mentioned, I expect is a premine (mining should generate 50M, so it does not fit to the mentioned 90M).
44M were distributed via the airdrop, 1M goes for bounties etc. But what about the other 45M?

speaking of wallets...  On place 9 and 11,highlighted in green and with blue tags with their names written on,we see the original DEV team wallets.If we click on them we will see that these wallets have never been touched and the only change is the stakes they receive. Unlike other DEVS,AltcoinSteps and Andre Pierre were clear about their personal addresses right from the start. I know a lot of people would expect Steps to trade at a very higher price than it already is.I would expect the same thing too.But we must not forget Steps have survived 3 vicious and completely hostile dumps.Moreover,Steps is still trading at +300% the ICO price has never dropped below twice the ICO price(ICO price=200sat). Great seeing devs putting name on wallets, This project has a good future! |

Very misleading
i am however debating to lower the APR % to decrease the daily supply. this will be done slowly and most likely when we reach a current supply of 700M.700m coinbase is fast approaching, are you still planning to lower interest? Whats the proposed interest rate? and will it be reduced when 700m is hit? yes it will be reduced to 669% APR when we hit 750m and will keep 'halving' from there till its final 13.37% APR. this will need some planning with the exchanges etc. c-cex's owner has been very helpful so far. are there any extra features you guys want to see in the new wallet besides multisend/stake for charity? After halving at 750m when will it halve again? 1.5bill? |
