Just bought 0.84 btc from kingscrown, super fast trade.  This guy is the real deal!   Cheesy

Thanks boss, I appreciate the trade.

 Cool Cool
142  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling BTC: WU, bank wire on: August 26, 2014, 01:57:05 PM
Thanks.  It turned out that it actually is/was her, but the deal pretty much evaporated.   Wink

It's all good though, no harm no foul.

Time to let this thread fade away...
143  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling BTC: WU, bank wire on: August 25, 2014, 11:47:58 PM
Sent you a few questions via PM, to your CrissyCris account.
144  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling BTC: WU, bank wire on: August 25, 2014, 05:00:10 PM
Thanks Danny, I didn't realize that there were some other conflicts going on here.

I'll let the dust settle and check back in for any new developments  Grin

Thanks for taking the time to work on this one.
145  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling BTC: WU, bank wire on: August 25, 2014, 05:04:03 AM
I'm away for the next ?? hours, feel free to PM me or post and I'll respond as soon as possible.
146  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling BTC: WU, bank wire on: August 25, 2014, 04:48:41 AM
Yes mam, and now you can see why buying btc in $100/$200/etc portions from you via NFCU made/makes perfect sense  Grin  (Why should I worry about the seller getting me, if I KNOW that WU is going to get me  lol...)

EDIT:  On the other hand, I could care less about the ~$2 it costs to whip up a USPS money order, if you prefer one of those.  Cheesy
147  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling BTC: WU, bank wire on: August 25, 2014, 04:25:47 AM
It's all good Cris.  Like I mentioned in PM I realize you've had a lot of interesting things happen, I do completely understand why your guard is up.

On a thousand bucks, the fee is $86 for same day pickup, or $60 for 3-day pickup (yuck).

Just know that I'm here and ready to buy 2 btc from you, through escrow is perfectly fine.

EDIT:  You know what is ironic... it only costs $14 in WU fees to send to China for same-day service, which makes trading with shdvb very cost-effective.
148  Economy / Services / Re: DannyHamilton's Escrow Service on: August 25, 2014, 12:56:51 AM
Make that 2 people interested in your service for the Lucky Cris thread, please.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=753804.0

Thank you.
149  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling BTC: WU, bank wire on: August 25, 2014, 12:35:08 AM
I tell you what, to put your mind at ease, maybe this would be a better offer...

How about I make a USPS money order for the price of the entire 2 btc.  I then contact Danny Hamilton (escrow), I pay any fees (or tips) as they may be.

Danny Hamilton's thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=254369.0;all

That way you get the entire amount in one lump sum, and I prove that I'm bringing you a legit offer...and give you "peace of mind" you referred to earlier...

EDIT:  Left message in his thread, hoping that he can help us out with this.
150  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling BTC: WU, bank wire on: August 24, 2014, 11:56:26 PM
Don't do the trust thing then... I'm not worried about that, since you are now raising an issue with it.

shdvb is a verified and trustworthy exchanger in this forum, you would be wise to not dispute that fact.  He runs bunnycredits.com.

There is nothing odd about me wanting to trade in smaller increments, especially if I send first.  Remember, I posted my offer here in your thread, and you acknowledged it.

If you have now decided that you don't want to trade or are having second thoughts, I have no issues with that either.

EDIT:  I forgot to comment on WU... that's way too expensive for this trade, I'm not interested in the WU fee.  It would be much more cost-effective for me to go a mile out of my way and just make deposits.
151  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling BTC: WU, bank wire on: August 24, 2014, 11:00:30 PM
Ok, so you'll just PM me the info I need to make the deposit, correct?  I can PM the btc address to send to once you see it.
152  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling BTC: WU, bank wire on: August 24, 2014, 10:19:59 PM
Yes, I am very familiar with escrow, but like I mentioned I'm comfortable not using it for this trade.  I appreciate you reiterating it though, it shows good character.

Sure, if you can explain to me how the access code thing works, I'll kick things off, most likely tomorrow morning.
153  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling BTC: WU, bank wire on: August 24, 2014, 10:06:32 PM
May I please have 2 btc at bitstamp rate?  (No discount)

NFCU cash deposit.  The location isn't exactly close to me, but most weekday mornings I should be able to swing by.

I will send (deposit) an amount first...maybe $100 or so to start, I've read enough where I am totally comfortable with that.  Maybe after the first transaction we go back and forth sending first until we reach somewhere around 2 btc exchanged, or however you're most comfortable.  I can provide receipts as well if necessary.

Mutual trust exchange at the end of the deal too please  Smiley

Thoughts?

Just bought ~2 BTC from via WU.  I sent first, he sent coins very quickly.  VERY highly recommended, runs an honest exchange service.  Thank you very much.

I'm curious as to how else you will combat issues of dead weight investors, i.e. investors who claim to be enthusiastic and dedicated, up until the point that they vanish with their stake and let everyone else do the leg work while they sit and watch.

It would, in my opinion, be a good idea for the additional rewards to dedicated community members to be handed out more gradually; more like a salary than an overall lump sum. This adds in an incentive to keep "doing" whatever it is they are doing to contribute.

I'm entirely new to NXT and its siblings, but I'd be interested to see if someone could actually create a stable community model based around the platform that encourages mutual cooperation rather than a singular motive for greed.

That, and I love a good experiment. Provided this is a genuine effort to be "different" from the other NXT clones, then consider me interested. If it isn't, then I'm not.

Now the market a lot of new coins appear when individuals invest a great risk, I think when we choose to be rational in the face

Certainly you are not under the impression that MEC is a NXT clone, correct?   Huh  Apologies if I misunderstood what you were implying in regards to genuine effort.

MEC has a strong user base, Dr. Kimoto Chan has even posted a recent update in the Megacoin forum here:

https://forum.megacoin.co.nz/index.php?topic=3343.msg11157#msg11157

Expect good innovative things to follow.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] WORLDCOIN IS USELESS AND HAS NO VALUE, THERE I SAID IT on: January 11, 2014, 05:21:59 PM
WorldCoin has ZERO value over bitcoin or litecoin or other innovations like nxt, emunie and invictus. Its a clone coin with minor improvements that every other shitcoin already has, Really it is nothing but bunch of mumbo jumbo with a nice website.

this is the truth and the truth can hurt for worldcoin holders.

If it has zero value, then why are people paying money and btc for it?  Smoke a bowl and think that one over for a while  Wink
