The last couple of days, litecoins have exploded in value from less than a dollar to almost 4$ today! Will this continue and which crypto currency, if any, is next to boom, do you think? In my opinion, a currency is like a network and its value is determined by how many people that use it or how many people speculators expect will be using this currency in the future. And here, there are other factors than only network size or hashes per second at play. The technology is also important and I think that one of the positive things about litecoins is that transactions are confirmed faster than with bitcoins. Which techonological benefits do the different currencies have and which parameters will be the relevant for determining a winner or the winners in the long run? Someone make a pool yet?  If I would stop puttering around the board and finish up my registration and payout code.  ,I would be more than happy to open a pool to give the code a good testing. Please put a java webminer on it so that 30 computers cpu mining can actually be worth something! Lol, just use ufasoft or rpcminer for your cpu These computers in question can't have programs installed on them other than what is preloaded. And we already have a market price! that's not a market price. thats BID. you need an ASK to even try to guess the market price , and market price is what last trade taken place at(pizza), that would be 0,0001111 BTC/BTE or 9000 BTE/BTC for easier calc. difficulty is 64 with 60% rejects, so mining now gives you 3.143 BTE a day per MH , comparing to LTC profitability thats a minting cost of 0,0107 usd which makes actual price of 0,01198 usd very reasonable. but you have to know, difficulty is 64 but blocks are found at high rate so this price is a steal!! difficulty will be 256 in no time. that is a mintage cost of 0,043USD. but i think there will be no more 60% rejects at diff256 so lets say it will be around .02 usd and 5400 BTE/BTC. thats of course if no one else starts mining. so i will make a 540 BTE per 0.1BTC ASK offer. now you can see your 21000 is just a BID , not a market price That's incredibly, incredibly funny. I never thought I would be a smart speculator you hit your pizza price on the spot perfectly. LOL Once this coin is worth something, I'm going to be filthy rich!
