141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying bytecoins on: April 03, 2013, 08:31:40 AM
That is precisely when you realize that 0.1 BTC / 1000 bytecoins is undervalued, and sell for higher.

Especially if they are the the very first bytecoins ever exchanged for physical goods!!!
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying bytecoins on: April 03, 2013, 08:29:10 AM
This is really weird, maxmint also wants to buy them for 0.1 BTC. How do I make this fair?

145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / We owe Ben Bernake an apology: he made us all extremely rich on: April 03, 2013, 07:48:54 AM
With the explosion of crypto, i am convinced that he really is just one of the original crypto investors and knew that destroying the fed from within was the only way to spread wealth to the people

Thanks for being such a stand up guy, Ben

146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which crypto currency is the next to boom? on: April 03, 2013, 12:43:40 AM
The last couple of days, litecoins have exploded in value from less than a dollar to almost 4$ today! Will this continue and which crypto currency, if any, is next to boom, do you think?

In my opinion, a currency is like a network and its value is determined by how many people that use it or how many people speculators expect will be using this currency in the future. And here, there are other factors than only network size or hashes per second at play. The technology is also important and I think that one of the positive things about litecoins is that transactions are confirmed faster than with bitcoins. Which techonological benefits do the different currencies have and which parameters will be the relevant for determining a winner or the winners in the long run?

I would love to hear your thoughts on this!

I am very bullish on almost every crypto, including btc, ltc, nvc, nmc, ppc, trc, and most importantly, bte Cheesy

I would get behind this 150% if it offered anything new but it doesn't.

It's relaunched Bitcoin. Without scammers, drug barons and pedophiles. Tell me which currency u choose and I'll tell u who u are.

It is just relaunched Bitcoin so it is going nowhere. Watch out for keyloggers and backdoors!

This thing is going straight to the moon, just watch Smiley

Don't worry, the gains I made in LTC and PPC in the past few days have offset my speculation in BTE  Grin

Good for you mate. Wink

Thanks hope you are doing well too!

If anyone ever sets up a BTE exchange, I could potentially make thousands Cheesy

In a world where BTC forks and its clone can save it from disaster...

BiteTheDustCoin  Cheesy

I would get behind this 150% if it offered anything new but it doesn't. This coin represents everything the alt currency haters hate about alt currencies. I feel bad defending alt currencies and seeing this topic on the first page of the forum.. but I know it doesn't represent the real innovative coins like ppcoin, litecoin, namecoin etc.

Someone make a pool yet?  Shocked

If I would stop puttering around the board and finish up my registration and payout code. Roll Eyes ,I would be more than happy to open a pool to give the code a good testing.

Please put a java webminer on it so that 30 computers cpu mining can actually be worth something!
Lol, just use ufasoft or rpcminer for your cpu  Wink

These computers in question can't have programs installed on them other than what is preloaded. Thankfully they have java in their web browsers, so litecoinpool.org's miner works Cheesy

What toppings? Just you know, when the children ask in the future about alt-coin history, they will hear about this wonderful story

Just a plainnnnn ol' cheese pizza. Delivery was 3 bucks Sad But free market forces are pretty impressive on this one.

I will hold onto this 1000 BTE and wallet for a very long time Cheesy

So who has the most BTE right now?
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEW CURRENCY] Maria 2.0 was banned, here is her proof. The birth of Bytecoin! on: April 02, 2013, 04:52:06 PM
I'm buying 21,000 BTE for 0.1 BTC

That looks reasonable, me too.

And we already have a market price!

that's not a market price. thats BID.
you need an ASK to even try to guess the market price ,
and market price is what last trade taken place at(pizza), that would be 0,0001111 BTC/BTE or  9000 BTE/BTC for easier calc.

difficulty is 64 with 60% rejects, so mining now gives you 3.143 BTE a day per MH , comparing to LTC profitability thats a minting cost of  0,0107 usd
which makes actual price of 0,01198 usd very reasonable.

but you have to know, difficulty is 64 but blocks are found at high rate so this price is a steal!! difficulty will be 256 in no time.
that is a mintage cost of 0,043USD. but i think there will be no more 60% rejects at diff256 so lets say it will be around .02 usd and 5400 BTE/BTC.
thats of course if no one else starts mining.

so i will make a 540 BTE per 0.1BTC ASK offer. now you can see your 21000 is just a BID , not a market price

That's incredibly, incredibly funny. I never thought I would be a smart speculator

you hit your pizza price on the spot perfectly. LOL

Once this coin is worth something, I'm going to be filthy rich!

I will sell an ounce of silver to someone for 3,000 BTE.

Haha, we are lucky if this coin gets more than a weeks attention Cheesy

Shhh I am TRYING to pump and dump!!!
