141  Economy / Lending / Re: CoinLenders Script :: Bitcoin Bank (Borrow+Deposit) Software :: Demo Available on: November 22, 2013, 12:21:37 AM
All we would ask is that to receive (your share split) you show something from your end by leaving say 1BTC in the system or putting in at least 1BTC in the system over the first month or something like that.

Nooooooooooooope.

thnaks skitchen for reposne.

One less to deal with.

I urge caution guys.  A professional (regulated) lender would not start writing off investors over silly insults and initial proposal rejections like a pissed off school boy.
In fact, he would be required by law to treat investors and creditors equally.

Let's see how long it takes for him to ask for additional BTC either through opening your wallets or releasing your CL balances   Roll Eyes

+1 Between his comments and the name... not looking like a professional I would want in charge of my "shares"
142  Economy / Lending / Re: CoinLenders Script :: Bitcoin Bank (Borrow+Deposit) Software :: Demo Available on: November 21, 2013, 04:13:07 PM
I've read the stories here and feel sorry for anyone who has lost money/BTC.

Anyway....Some quick background on us:

We, and not (TF or coinlender) are part of a company with an "Australian Credit Providers Licence" (allows us to provide credit/LOANS) and we would like to make the following commentary to those affected or otherwise by the coinlender saga.

We believe the coinlender business has/had merit, with albeit inept execution/security floors.

For this reason we wish to speak to you that have lost funds using this system, to get your reactions to our request/proposition, before any formal commitment from our end.

As an Australian company we feel that if we can offer our assistance then we will do so.

So here are the initial thought/requests to consider/debate/chat about.

1. We would like to request to negotiate with TF to purchase coinlender/TF database/website and all intellectual property/domains etc and take over management of the current loans.
2. The cost to us will be $0, in fact we want $50,000 or 100 BTC from TF, to buy it and manage it from TF.
3. The $50,000 will be used to a) setup a company owning the intellectual property and b) issue shares in the new company to be split among both our company and that of you that lost money/BTC, along with some funds towards manegemnt of the current/new loans.
2. TF to work with us for up to say 12 months (at no cost) on an ad hoc basis as needed to benefit the site/business. This will include a shareholding to him at the conclusion of 12 months, if we (collectively) so choose to do so based on his 12 months help.
3. Anyone who has lost funds/BTC will be rewarded by holding shares in the company in some way by using the service again (unsure at this point what that will be, but some form of monetary reward for commitment back to the site. You have to commit, make BTC available to receive shares. (unsure how this will work at this point but just a comment for now)
4. We would keep similar functionality and business concept with some required changes.
5. We are to be provided a complete breakdown by TF as to who has lost what amount so that we can make sure those that have been  affected receive a shareholding.
6. Shareholders to receive dividends prorated each year.

Could go on forever, but in essence, we will take the inherent risk associated with buying a website/IP with a tarnished name with the acceptance of terms to the above by TF (we are negotiable) but more importantly it must be acceptable to the majority of you.

This by no means stops any action by you against TF for lost BTC, however we are trying to help you move forward in the meantime with this proposal/idea/concept.

PS: We personally do not believe TF is/was a scammer, however that is a moot point at this stage, the important thing is to find a solution to move forward that can benefit all past users/ new users and Bitcoin.

Happy to take questions/ ideas/ comments by any of you or TF.

Personally speaking, the last thing I would want to do with my BTC (CASH) is exchange it for shares. I Kept cash/btc for a reason, i just made the mistake of putting it in CL

I very nearly settled, for no other reason than pure desperation. He knows how bad my personal situation is and to put such a low % on offer. It makes me angry. As I have said in the past, I would rather renegotiate in person than take on that kind of loss.

I am asking ALL REMAINING depositors to either PM me or post your remaining balance here -

Sorry for suggesting you do this AGAIN but we won't know the current liability otherwise, a lot of people didnt come back to shout about the great 9% they got back.
147  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CoinLenders, Inputs.io, Tradefortress (HACK) on: November 21, 2013, 11:24:29 AM
How many people already accepted the "fiat settlement"?

If you accepted this deal please report that to DumbFruit so he can write that to the first post. We need to know how many coins were written off.

DumbFruit is going on to bigger and better things, good luck to you sir!

I am asking ALL REMAINING depositors to either PM me or post your remaining balance here -
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=341871.msg3662042#msg3662042

Sorry for getting you to restate your balance but it's the only way we can be sure who is still in, many people who have settled have closed this horrible chapter in their life and wont be coming back here to talk about it.
148  Economy / Service Discussion / COINLENDERS - REMAINING DEPOSITORS on: November 21, 2013, 11:21:28 AM
If you want to join a collective Class Action Opportunity: (Because hes stopped communicating/refunds of any kind)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=336217.msg3619427#msg3619427 Even if you have indicated interest, please pm me your email incase of updates/information requests.
Please let me know or voice your interest as it would need agreement from enough people to go ahead.
This is purely to indicate your interest at this stage.

If you do settle, PLEASE PM me or come post here. - also if your balance was NOT listed on dumbfruits old thread please say so when posting!

Due to the limited information being provided by TF - We are having to use the information available to decide whether this liquidation is "fair" - Determine your own meaning of the word fair. It is our responsibility to do this to determine as best we can if this was a horrible mistake or there is indeed foul play.

Or we can let this go 100% unchecked... But people have lost life changing amounts of money here. Yes we all make mistakes.

if you would like to propose an alternate arrangement / settlement for your CL balance email me - I will agree if I believe this will benefit other CL creditors.

TF still claims to be working for the benefit of his users.

Yes, this does contain numerous assumptions but we are using the best available data - if you have evidence to the contrary please share it.

Most people who have already bailed based on the USD price will not all be updating the old thread with compensation amounts and the thread owner DumbFruit has also made a deal so I hope to collect information on the REMAINING deposit holders here.

What I want from you.

  • Your CL Balance with and without interest
  • Confirmation if you were or were not on the original thread
  • Confirmation if you have or have not settled
  • Confirmation if you are interested in legal action (if so provide a valid email id for updates/info requests)

If you have not settled your balance then please re-state your current stake here or even better PM me. Anon unless you request otherwise. Will use bitcointalk names for simplicity. That's all I want, a tally of remaining deposit holders. We can keep the discussion on the old threads.
Please state whether your balance is with or without interest - Include both figures if you can. It all goes in the spreadsheet!
If for some reason you did not report your balance on the old thread. Let me know.

I have the intention of keeping this thread open until we have all settled or CL is reactivated for withdrawals.

Current Figures

Will keep these conservative so its more of a worst case - things in reality should be better.

Stolen from inputs: 4100
Returned to inputs: 900

Based on the 900 returned and the high % loss for anyone with more than 1 BTC in, I am going to assume that inputs deposits were in excess of 2100 BTC

Lets assume CL took a 2000 BTC hit when inputs was hacked although the reality is probably/hopefully better

CL Deposits:9202.24604006 (Based on original thread + late comers)
Remaining BTC: 6662.78260646(Based on remaining deposit holders)
Users: 119

We know TF has a large amount of funds in BTC. That is not up for debate. We have seen address's with large amounts of coins and he has begun pre-liquidation despite claims 100% of CL liquid funds are loaned and his personal stash used for inputs. (000's of BTC) There is a good chance he has amassed plenty of fiat in this time as well as he has a history of gambling - He did cash out in the high hundreds and buy back in the low seventies with CL money according to an old thread - scary.

Anyway, PLEASE let me know if you still have a stake in CL.

As a medium level investor, I would be willing to take a hair cut, to cover some of the costs. But 90+% That is unacceptable, Especially when we can see the losses from the hack have already been  covered.

Legal Action

As TF has stopped communicating / vanished - It increases the possibility this was something of a ponzi scheme.
Either way, he isn't leaving creditors with many other options than to contact the authorities.
I am aware of various people working on various things which I won't post here but here is a "zero cost" option.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=336217.msg3700419#msg3700419

Potential drawbacks for me are - it might mean zero return for us, tf could hide any/all assets, he may have already left oz.  But if you want to head over and drop your balance as a show of interest - these points will presumably be covered before it gets that far.

Why would someone kill themselves over money?

Get a fucking job at Mc Donalds, move in with your parents for awhile, put out resumes, and join the rest of the world in cubicles.

You're nobody special.  If you haven't been there yet, it'll make you a better person to see what that lifestyle is like.

Such individuals are dumb and for the purposes of natural selection, probably should commit suicide.

Some people are unable to work, and have big health care bills. Money can be life or death for some people. Try to put yourself in the shoes of people less fortunate than you before you speak.

These USD value rules seem to vary. It was ok at $750 but now it's come down he doesn't want to make a deal. Disgraceful.
153  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CoinLenders, Inputs.io, Tradefortress (HACK) on: November 19, 2013, 10:54:55 PM

8k - 4.1k = Huh

Not entierly sure where you are getting this -4.1k from.... pretty sure there was a huge haircut for inputs users who had more than 1BTC so you can write at least 1k of that off for the haircut and another 900BTC from his own pocket. - in reality haircuts were much higherthan this percentage!

4.1k is the amount of bitcoins that were stolen by "hackers".
So... Err... I'm just pulling it from official TF statements?

Yea I know but its already written off.... 2000BTC+ seems worth factoring in. Nevermind.

with things going crazy, some people are bound to get hurt.

who will be the first person in history to die from bitcoin?

With my ALL my cash and some friends money tied up in coinlenders. Maybe this can be my claim to fame!

I was offered 9% of my money returned and had no choice but to flat refuse.

Bitcoin will almost certainly result in a death in the very near future.

Expecting a string of exceptionally helpful posts about how smart I am.... starting... NOW!
157  Economy / Lending / Re: CoinLenders Script :: Bitcoin Bank (Borrow+Deposit) Software :: Demo Available on: November 19, 2013, 04:57:03 PM
People often buy BTC to escape USD so to price up a deal in USD must truly be a smack in the face.
158  Economy / Lending / Re: CoinLenders Script :: Bitcoin Bank (Borrow+Deposit) Software :: Demo Available on: November 19, 2013, 02:56:59 PM
My guess is that he won't refund anything until the price has bounced up to >$700 again.
I sent my email 2,5hours ago, since then the price has been ~$580-600, needless to say, I got no reply yet.

It is bed time over there now.... assuming he really is in the east Cheesy

Anyway, he doesn't want a "similar" deal, he calculates it exactly according to deposit dates and gx price.

Nobody dealt in $ for a reason so in my opinion it is an unfair and horrible deal, but if people accept it....

Would make sense to prioritise the big holders first - He has already knocked off at least 1000 from CL's debts. Probably more like 2000.
159  Economy / Lending / Re: CoinLenders Script :: Bitcoin Bank (Borrow+Deposit) Software :: Demo Available on: November 19, 2013, 10:32:14 AM
Here was me thinking people invested in BTC to protect themselves from the fall of the dollar. Not guarantee it! Can't accept a 91% haircut.

PLEASE POST OR PM me your settlement amount so it can be added to dumbfruits list.

Anon unless you specify otherwise.
