You 2 sound just like the envious persons who really can't make any money gambling...

And yet I'm posting 5 figure payouts and making what I'm doing quite open.  And no, I'm not charging for tips because its far more hassle than actually betting myself  Grin
143  Economy / Gambling / Re: DirectBet – LIVE Sportsbook & Racebook. Now Accepting Ether ! on: August 15, 2016, 04:25:25 PM
Whats happening with the Chelsea game?

I was going to put a bet on yesterday when the odds were (I think) 1.6 and this looked better than competitors (paddy power, nitro etc)

now the odds are 1.5 which isn't great (paddy power offering 4/7)

Are these odds going to get closer or did i miss my chance to bet yesterday lol

The full thread just stinks of someone who can't actually make any money gambling; the only way he can make money is by charging other suckers.

*anyone* can show a half decent run with football betting when you're betting on the favourites. But a loss every 2-3 games is going to put you into losses overall... the only winner here is the tipster.

Its painfully obvious he's no fucking clue what he's doing as well, jumping from random league to random league.  Its not even like he's trading off expert knowledge of one league ffs, one minute he's telling you to bet on Japanese 2nd division and the next its a Malaysian cup game, then a schoolboys game in Wales  Grin
145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How about this for a winning run ($7600 made this evening) on: August 15, 2016, 02:12:42 AM
Haha I said to my mate after I posted that, Im not 100% sure he's dead. Then we had an hour long discussion about who's still alive. I was born in 82 and there is only about 3 of them left alive from when I was watching as a kid  Grin

Anyway I had a stinker tonight on the Barca game... over 2.5 goals and lost 500 Ethers on it.  0-0 at half time and I drove down to the marina... walk through and see the game on a tv in a bar at 84 mins and realise its 2-0 and I only need a goal. So a couple of Mojitos ordered and sit down and suffer Messi missing a couple of great chances.

I don't normally leave in play bets open and unattended, if I'm betting I'll make sure I'm watching the game and can increase or make further bets etc. So poor discipline from me this evening, though I don't think it'd have changed anything tbh.

Oh well a profitable day overall so thats all that matters Smiley  Don't think I'll be betting much the next couple of days as I have a load of offline work.

If you don't like spam and won't use cheap practices....

Why the hell are you sitting on someone elses business name in a different domain extension?

There is zero legitimate interest in you having this.

Why come into gambling threads and tell people to stop gambling?

you're not my mum and you're not my accountant... I don't need financial advice from you.
149  Economy / Gambling / Re: DirectBet – LIVE Sportsbook & Racebook. Now Accepting Ether ! on: August 14, 2016, 04:43:06 PM
People who complain are the ones trying to double spend. I've never had any bets not being paid out.

That's not true. I like DirectBet and usually I don't have any problem but sometimes some bets are stucked and not settled, you have to tell them to settle manually. It happened to me a couple of times, when I PM'd them they immediately solved problems. It's good to have a thread here and they are always fast and responsive. I hope they keep it that way.

Lol yea, they are probably reviewing to see if there is a way they can scam it.

Just becareful looking at their history there are quite a few issues.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=207436#newfeedback

And yet they just paid me $37000 today, within minutes of a bet being decided.  Why aren't they scamming me then?  I think we all know the answer... its that I'm not cheating.

I'm trying something a bit different this evening and outside of my normal betting patterns... https://www.directbet.eu/BetStatus.cshtml?BetID=0x3e67862a112eb70010c3e75afd5f0a2e263a61f0

If you want to know my result of my last tipping thread it ended with 32 games with 21 wins and 11 losses and 600 mBTC in profit during one month

In other words, you'd have been better getting a job in McDonalds then?  Its a massive amount of time to properly look into 32 games, then time on top for any that you actually watch live too.

How much per hour invested did you earn?
155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How about this for a winning run ($7600 made this evening) on: August 13, 2016, 06:44:42 PM
I advise you not to gamble again starting from that moment.

Request received, and declined.

I've been busy offline so no time for gambling unfortunately but I'm back today with the start of the Premier league... nice little win on the City game to kick things off  Cool https://www.directbet.eu/BetStatus.cshtml?BetID=0xf90e5d383c335cf781d940c690c36d51a569f5ec

With 0 in bitcoin did you lose it all and then just transfer over to ETHEREUM instead to continue on with betting?

I decided Eth was a better long term prospect than BTC so I swapped all of my Bitcoins for Eth.   For anyone serious about gambling i'd highly recommend they follow suit - its just so much better with confirmations taking seconds.
157  Economy / Gambling / Re: DirectBet – LIVE Sportsbook & Racebook. Now Accepting Ether ! on: August 13, 2016, 06:26:05 PM
Directbet stole over 5k from me. (9.04 BTC)

I placed a bet over a month ago and directbet has not returned it. They rejected the bet and then did not refund the btc. Instead they just update the betslip page posting someone elses transaction ID and said its to cover an unpaid bet.

Complete garbage from a garbage book.

Directbet ignores all posts, emails, and support requests.

https://www.directbet.eu/BetStatus.cshtml?BetID=1J48n6KMDKutNcb68ywoHgfrZVkD28Vrfk

Completely unprofessional way to treat customers, support, and overall run a btc related site.

Listen to all the bad posts and stay away from this book.

Dont let directbet steal your money like they did me

See all the warnings; http://www.sportsbookreview.com/forum/sportsbooks-industry/3289926-rate-directbet.html

Directbet, you are more than welcome to PM me and return my coin. You know you have done the wrong thing and stolen it. Everyone is aware of your faulty scheme.

Wow! I wish i had read into this site more before i chose to place bets on it. They are literally just taking bets off whoever they feel like to compensate for their losses.

I would recommend that people interested in betting use alternative sportsbooks or betting services. Its not worth the risk, if you are betting after they have taken losses from unpaid bets, your bets could be taken to cover those.

Everyone should do their own due diligence and bet where you feel most comfortable, but the only complaints we seem to see are ones with a stink of double spend surrounding them.

I just had another $15,000 paid to me within minutes of the bet being a winner = https://www.directbet.eu/BetStatus.cshtml?BetID=0xf90e5d383c335cf781d940c690c36d51a569f5ec

Congratulations OP thats a nice win.
Any reason you are betting with ETH instead of bitcoins?

What site were you playing at, the screen shots didn't look familiar to me.

Also I just think Ethereum is a better long term bet.  I'm currently holding 0 Bitcoins and about $100,000 of Eth.  I'm going to put them into cold storage and speculate on the price... no gambling or trading.

If Eth smart contracts become solid yes I could agree with you but today I think nothing really beats Bitcoin.

But Bitcoin will have to face many challenges in the next months so keeping an eye on the alternatives is always good.

If was you I would not go all in like that on ETH: I think oyu could better off differentiating your portfolio

Even ignoring all the Smart contract things, Eth just works better for sending money quickly and easily.

The only plus point for BTC is the head start it has.  Many an inferior product has won the battle purely because of first to market and all the advantages that brings.  But if anyone thinks that it can't happen here, message me on Bebo or Myspace later to discuss it  Grin

re differentiating, i'm already spread out over a lot of things and I'm not playing with money I'm not willing to lose 100% of as far as Cryto goes.  Anyone doing anything other than that, is an idiot really.

So given my Crypto stuff is only a smallish part overall; I think for me it makes sense to simply pick the best option within that and put everything in there. Perhaps I'll be horribly wrong and lose a fortune, time will tell Smiley

btw back on the gambling front, i decided to cold storage the rest of my coins and put 1000 Eth into an account I will gamble from.

https://etherscan.io/address/0xaBa465Ead186c3ae2cDf57aeeE9EE8f0b88E18ec

anyone who's interested can paste the transaction id's into Direct Bet to see what I'm winning or losing on lol.  First bet - https://www.directbet.eu/BetStatus.cshtml?BetID=0x526f1fd76c49afda08e875a439229c5994e3a619

I'm playing on DirectBet.eu - they've been excellent and no problems getting 5 figure payouts minutes after games finish.

Eth just works far better for gambling, the payments clear in seconds usually.

Joking aside, thats me done with gambling for a while.

Its been fun and I'd have rathered to walk off with the crown and go off the back of a set of wins but with these 3 losses I'm done.

It was profitable but its taking up too much of my time and I'm not particularly enjoying it any more... do you really want to be staying up to 5am watching shitty nigerian games with mostly players you've never heard of, on an awful stream jammed full of popups?  For me, the answer is no  Grin
