Also, a general rule of thumb is that any sudden or very rapid price change will face a correction. It happened with the huge slide down, and it'll happen with the big increase now.
the big increase?!?!!?!?!?! we go up a few bucks and you think its a big increase. ha i remember we would see ten dollar gains in an hour. callit now then we will see about 140-150 in two weeks. |

I sold over half my holdings at 31.50 long, long ago... its all a matter of perspective. At the time I had a 400% profit at 31.50 ;p This only looks low due to where we've been recently. Go back a year and a half, and 70 looks awesome  oh i agree, i remember when they were 2.50 to 3.50 each. and when they went to five buck i was like what the fuck this is so god damn expensive i spent 250 once to get 78 coins thinking it was a rippoff. haha wow. my point is its not going to stabalize or bounce we are going to go to fifty. you can hold and you will profit for sure in the long. we will be at 825 this time next year. Just sold all you coins ,I am sure that after one year ,you will needs to pay double price for it...for sure.... no i watch the price daily, im not going to check back a year latter and be like oh wow it up. unless it goes up 200 in a day...doubtful...then i will get back in once it has hit bottom repeats 2011 and starts climbing for a solid month. then and only then will i get back in. |

Now here is where it gets scary, and if you as a investor/trader/speculator ignore the feeling of panic, you risk becoming a bag holder. And I feel for the bag holders, I have been there (in other markets) and it's not a nice feeling. Combine my fundamental analysis with a technical analysis...when it goes below the 200 day SMA, you have a confirmed bear trend, and it's more than likely going lower.
+1 i got out and i was like damn i took a loss. some gain some loss. so glad i did most befor the 130 fall and kicked my self for not selling more at 101 and 94 respectivly. now im like thank the gods i got out alllllllllll the way out. ok three btc for old times sake but i wil buy if it goes to sub 40 i will buy a lot!!!!! edit: wow add kicked in there, the point is ya get out now and kick your self or wait and get out at half this at 35 up to you. im not a bear im not a bull im a realist. |

bitstamp will soon pass up gox as the number one sight for bitcoins. a lot of sights including sr is now deturmining the price of there coin on a number of sorces. bitstamp will have just as much pull as gox. now stamp wont be the red headed step child haha.

it is the second biggest...do your research, and it is the best cuz you can buy coins on the cheep. send them to any market and you get the gox price. at one point it was seventeen dollars cheaper. com on smoothie you can do better than that. lol oh and we all cant have our posts headline "how does it feel to ......." or i guess we could but that would be one boring ass forum. |

why is there no arbitrage @bitstamp atm?  Buying bitcoin now  yep i put all my cash on the side in, im fully into bitcoin side now on bitstamp. i could cash out and make 8 per bitcoin as it stands now...but i think gox will go up more so ill make even more money.  |

If it hits $150 next week (a distinct possibility) I don't think it will stay there very long, I suspect $150 will trigger selling and bring it back down to $100 to $120.
so your saying that it is quite possible that it will make it to 150 but then sell of to 100!!?!?  damn that would be a sell off. if it hits 150 and it starts slyding to 130 or 125 than dont you think someone would want to buy those now cheep coins and keep it up into the 140s range? why would it slide 50 bucks??? |

yep hit 90 there for a while, whoever said double digits won that one or if you have bitcoins...we all lost. but its sparking back up. why doesnt it shoot back up like the good ol days. why the swing? stock market is doing fine and bitcoin sometimes follows that a bit so whats the hold up? ya we say it jump ten in 24h but now sliding again. i thought we would see it be well above 200 by about this time.... end of June so what the hell is the hold up.

it has lots of great properties — negligible transaction fees (...) Bullshit. My credit card is free of charge for me (as a customer), I don't give a shit if the merchant have to pay an American company for providing this service. But I know, and I care, that everywhere in the country I can use it, without paying any fee. Bitcoins fees are way too high. WTF ARE YOU FOR REAL!?!? of corse you pay for it you jack ass! they jack up the price of things to do this. you think that if they charge the merchant then they wont double that fee and then charge you? fucking retard |

ya i think bitstamp is by far the most user friendly one, yes it has got buggy a few times in the past but guess what it has never been shut down for days or half days or any of that shit. I think people are waking up to bitstamps potential and its ease of use. also you can get your cheep coins there on the upswing and since it is behind gox it you can sell usually higher then gox on the down swing. win win.

ha well there is a novel idea! maybe just maybe it is a good investment! ha just cuz we have all herd of bitcoins and watched it over the last year two years or so doesn't mean that its not new to some... well a lot. some big fish might be just smelling this and they want in. it will be the global currency of the future... it is already. if i had a hundred thousand dollars 80% would go into bitcoins you bet your ass. I think that it really does have incredible potential.
