141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: August 23, 2017, 02:38:27 PM
In this case, a small group of miners wanted to change something, but couldn't get the 51%, so what do they do? fork off the chain. oh my god they should have followed the majority!

No, they shouldn't have. You cannot impose your will onto another human beings, what the fuck is wrong with you? People do what they want to do, they always have and always will. Anybody can make a fork of anything, anytime. It has nothing to do with you, it's none of your business.

Why don't you two get a room.. and take it to the next level?
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: August 22, 2017, 07:27:53 PM
And the price must be the new temporary miners caching out for the real bitcoin now they have made some quick gains Tongue

The miners are certainly having a heyday. Hopefully even those poor underpaid lowlevel mining workers will get some bonuses, not just the big fat bosses.

what is the best functional wallet for BCC?

https://coinomi.com/

I'm using this multi currency wallet in my mobile phone and it's working smoothly so if you are looking for great wallet than it's good choice.

He asked for a Bitcoin Cash wallet, coinomi doesn't support it.

Is mining bitcoin cash still profitable with the new prices? Is there any cloud providers renting bitcoin cash mining hashes?

Of course it is. 27 new blocks in the last hour only.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: August 20, 2017, 08:54:32 PM
I wonder when will Lightning network becomes online. By the look of things, BTC Core would have not yet done any updates until the end of 2018. By then everybody will just have to get used to 2 - 3 day delayed confirmations.

Not everybody, speak for yourself. Only children that make sub-dollar transactions and don't want to pay tx fees higher than the actual amount will have to wait. And that's a good thing, actually. If you want micro-transactions then fuck off to the second layer, or to BCH or just fuck off. Nobody wants you, not the miners, not the other BTC users, you are just a nuisance to everybody.

I've never had to wait more than 10-20 minutes for the first confirmation, ever. Of course I always use the highest fee my wallet offers. And it is extremely cheap. Even if the fee was 10 times higher it would still be ridiculously cheap, compared to the amounts I am transferring. The same goes for anybody who uses Bitcoin for serious transactions and of course for every single business.

So the real people don't have any problem with confirmation delays and never will. It's just the kids (abusing their parents' money) that are whining all the time.

Bigger blocks are a curse to bitcoin and will cause centralization in future.

Nice demagoguery.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: August 18, 2017, 08:35:45 PM
Likely the first round in a series of stress tests... Score is BCC:1 - BTC:0

This is not a competition, these 2 coins don't give a fuck about each other.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: August 18, 2017, 11:20:10 AM
This is interesting.

After this pump, mining Bitcoin Cash is nearly as profitable as mining Bitcoin.

If the price remain stable, it seems that on the next 2 days di Bitcoin Cash difficulty will go lower of 40%: http://bitcointicker.co/bccnetworkstats

And this will happen on the next 2 days, so before the fully segwit activation on Bitcoin, that it will happen on the 22 august...

At the moment: "It is currently 11% more profitable to mine on the original chain."

This is indeed interesting. Once Bitcoin cash mining becomes more profitable it's reasonable to expect those miners who are in it purely for immediate profit to switch. That may shake things.

Almost every altcoin is the result of some user here who wanted to do something better

That's not only incorrect but also extremely naive. A correct statement is: almost every altcoin is the result of some user here who wanted to get rich quick.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: August 17, 2017, 08:44:02 AM
And as the fees for regular onchain transactions will continue to be too high, Segwitbitcoin is no longer an appealing payment option for many groups and individuals.

That would be amazing indeed, nobody needs annoying herds of children with their annoying sub-dollar spam transactions.
153  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Buying HERO and Legendary accounts for 0.4 BTC on: August 16, 2017, 12:13:34 PM
And most important thing is buying and selling of account is prohibited here.  Cheesy

That's a lie. Account sales are explicitly allowed. Please learn the forum rules before you post another lie.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: August 16, 2017, 11:13:36 AM

You are fully entitled to your personal opinion but in this particular case don't really expect any serious response because your personal opinion is plain and simply stupid on multiple levels which neither I nor most probably anybody else here will bother to explain.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: August 15, 2017, 05:17:53 AM
If you measure everything in Bitcoin value then the most sensible thing to do is to hold everything in Bitcoin.  It's the one gaining the most value, taking away some value from the alts.

Really? Since the beginning of this year Ethereum increased its value by more than 4000% while Bitcoin increased its value by more than 400%. How is the 10 times less value increase of Bitcoin "gaining the most value"?
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: August 15, 2017, 05:07:46 AM
Sometimes I wonder how many actual real people are posting here and how many are fakes. (In fact sometimes I wonder how many real actual people are on any kind of social media and how many are fabricated by the click farms in China and India.)

All those posts here starting August 1st about how worthless and nonsense the Bitcoin cash is and almost hysterically encouraging selling BCH. Really nobody noticed how rather furiously forceful those posts were and still are? Nearly all of them repeating the same notion of "sell worthless bch, you will get free money". All those posts so aggressive and violent, almost religiously against Bitcoin cash.

Seemingly so much hate. But how many of those posts are real, written by real actual people? Have you really never wondered why would real actual people ever write any of that? What legitimate, rational and understandable reason would they have for such a behavior? Or are they all fabricated in a coordinated effort to make the dumb crowd think and do in a certain way? People are so incredibly easy to manipulate.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: August 12, 2017, 08:38:19 PM
So when do we start referring Bitcoincash as BCASH and Ticker BCH ??

Agreed with you OP must change the title of this thread according to the correct name BCASH. But some big exchange still using BCC that is why it is confusing at the moment.

Do you both really don't know that Bcash is an entirely different coin? Or are you intentionally being stupid?

Announcing Bcash

Bcash is a new cryptocurrency that uses the existing Bitcoin ledger combined with Zcash privacy technology. It aims to alleviate the congestion in the Bitcoin network while protecting users with the strong privacy guarantees of Zcash technology.
It is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2018.

Mini FAQ:

How can I buy Bcash?
Bcash has not launched yet, there is no way to buy or sell it. Do not trust anyone offering to buy or sell Bcash at this time.

How is it related to Bitcoin Cash?
They are entirely different projects.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: August 12, 2017, 03:27:35 AM
bitcoin had a very good rally and people might want to take their profit

The rally is not over yet but when it is the drop will be quite noticeable.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: August 12, 2017, 03:16:43 AM
There could be 3 Bitcoins soon

1- bcc - forked from the original chain, upgraded blocks, close to orginal satnak version.
2- btc segwit - another fork but with a controversial 2nd layer, leading to possible centralised bitcoin.
3- standard btc - the one we have all known, 1mb , no segwits, with slow tx.

Which one will you choose as the real bitcoin?

im defo 100% with #1

Dont you mean
1 - BCC
2 - Segwit
3 - Segwit2x

There is no no-segwit "standard" Bitcoin anymore so that would have to be yet another fork, then it would be like this:

1 - Segwit (what is now known as "Bitcoin")
2 - Segwit2x (the fork that may or may not happen later this year)
3 - BCC (Aug 1st forked "Bitcoin cash")
4 - Bitcoin legacy (what was known as "Bitcoin" until Aug 1st, i.e. without segwit or bigger blocks)
160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: @RogerVer lets make a deal. At least 60k, my BTU for your BTC. on: August 12, 2017, 12:39:37 AM
I agree, from someone from his position he doesn't act like a professional. If i look at his twitter and r/btc...man this guy is always full of shit.

What "professional"? He doesn't have any education nor any professional experience, he has never been employed by any serious and respectable employer. He is a convicted criminal. So what kind of a professional do you expect him to be? He can't even be considered a professional criminal. He is just a dumb animal of homo sapiens spieces, one of billions, that's all he is, no "professional". Getting himself to a federal prison by selling explosives on eBay can really achieve only a total moron.

Don't forget this one;

Mt. Gox is totes fine, guys.

I think Japan is a very innovative and progressive and overall amazing country and it just makes me sad that this kind of lowlife leeches like Ver and that French kid that destroyed Mt. Gox have the audacity to go there and abuse Japan's hospitality.
