Invalid topic. They are not "shipping NOW".

142  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: March 29, 2013, 06:36:13 PM
@CoinHoarder

My 4BTC transaction is listed and the payout address is correct, but the bitcointalk user name is misspelt.

TX: a28a71eb058198c790cd0e55167f4157bb9395ac10c5b4a9d5f72eb0b018e7fa
Payout: 1E5QLurk8Z2h6i2jp1pKezxYhBB1B68EVE

Name: Kaega  **NOT** Kiaga

Thanks for taking the time to provide the spreadsheet.

Can you provide updated info in the OP instead of us having to read 27+ pages looking for updates? :-P
143  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Cairnsmore2 - What would you like? on: March 28, 2013, 05:19:47 PM
+1 interested.

Instead of speculation, why not start production?  There is proof of a demand (Avalon, BFL pre-orders) and you the CM1 is a proven product with loyal consumers.

Place a batch order and sell it out, rinse & repeat until demand trickles off.

144  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Pool fees for an asic users are somewhat amusing on: March 27, 2013, 05:52:41 PM
You also should point out the different types of pools.

PPS @ 4% will also pay you even if the pool is unlucky.  The 4% allows the operator to cover the "dry spells" as you get paid no matter what happens.

145  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: PSA about Butterfly Labs what to say? on: March 27, 2013, 05:42:13 PM
Create a thread here with facts about the past few months with BFL.   Reserve the first 2-3 posts for updates as they come. Be fair, they did deliver FPGAs right?

Link the add to the thread to gain potential awareness.

146  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: BTCJam forum name verification on: March 26, 2013, 07:27:36 PM
I want to link my Bitcointalk name with BTCJam's. Verification code: 374680b5-ae88-4236-b9a4-62b4e195b7b9
147  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Avalon ASIC Batch 2 on: March 26, 2013, 07:36:22 AM
5 BTC; I run the machine and give you 25% of earnings for the entire life of the machine.

I have 5x 60gh/s BFL pre-ordered as well, willing to give 10% of their income as well, once delivered.

No thanks,
I am interested to sell this unit as I want to distribute my risk.
I have enough hashing power already.
//DeaDTerra

heh, it was a joke anyway (though jokes on me, I do have 5x BFL pre-orders).
148  Economy / Goods / Re: [Pending][WTS] Avalon Batch 1 system $20,000 (In person only) on: March 26, 2013, 07:35:39 AM
Waiting for the OP story about being robbed at gunpoint.

150  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: When is the last day to Withdraw GOX USD with unverified accounts? - April 10th on: March 26, 2013, 07:16:22 AM
If you read, it's for the Mt.GOX USD "codes" you can generate for transferring to another Mt.Gox account.  People seem to "sell" the codes on mt.gox for paypal, etc.

I'm sure you can still move it to Dwolla -> Bank.

151  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BitCoin-QT upgraded from < 0.8 to 0.8.1 Data Directory Q on: March 26, 2013, 05:47:26 AM
Thanks deepceleron.

152  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 UPDATE: Two 4 Module Avalons have been ordered on: March 25, 2013, 11:37:40 PM

153  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is mining still profitable? on: March 25, 2013, 11:28:27 PM
Even with the increased difficulty, my dual 7970 rig should bring in 2.5 coins/month or $187.

Now as ASICs flood into the hands of miners, GUI mining will probably shift to Litecoins where the returns are about the same.  You can trade LTC for BTC on btc-e.com.

154  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 6 Hours to process transaction on: March 25, 2013, 11:21:07 PM
I had a transaction which never got confirmed once over 6 hours.  I closed my client and reverted my wallet.dat to a previous copy, bamn. Coins in my balance.

155  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitdonator - submit your address and receive donations on: March 25, 2013, 11:19:46 PM
I sure hope that works...  I'm waiting for the billionaire bitcoin miner to change my life.
156  Other / Beginners & Help / BitCoin-QT upgraded from < 0.8 to 0.8.1 Data Directory Q on: March 25, 2013, 11:10:29 PM
According to https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Data_directory the blk*dat files in same directory as the wallet.dat are only for pre-0.8.0 and subsequent versions use the "blocks/" subdirectory.

Now that I'm at 0.8.1, why did the client leave both sets?

Is it safe to remove the ones in the base level (at same level as wallet.dat)?  The dat files are something around ~6GB and now I have essentially two copies.

157  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I made a giant, overpriced mining rig on: March 25, 2013, 11:07:11 PM
Can you promise to ship in the next .. oh 2 months?

If so, where is the pre-order page?  I'm looking for a 2014 delivery.  Grin
158  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How long until I can post outside the newbie area? on: March 25, 2013, 11:05:12 PM
Omg, I had to google to find out why I couldn't post anywhere.

Perhaps the greeting email should state this fact?!
