141  Local / India / Re: Dear Koinex team ... on: March 04, 2018, 03:51:40 AM
I was a very active trader and sold all my mined coins at Koinex since they had tighter spread, instant withdrawal etc....all was well until I tried to withdraw INR to my bank account. I made 3 requests in total (Feb-18), one was done the very next day and the other two are pending for more than a week now. Opened support tickets, sent bank statement to prove I haven't got them, sent tweets and fb messages. No response.

They keep adding new tokens and I guess the employees ride the dump and make some quick bucks..I was very happy with how everything went with this exchange, but their customer support really blows.

Now, I wil consider myself really lucky if I get my 22k+ INR Cry

Edit: 3rd March 18 , They have addressed the issue and responded to my mail. Looks like there was a huge amount of withdrawal requests made on last weekend when there was 'free trading' going on... They have promised to process all pending payments by monday 5th March.

This is the reason i do not trade in Koinex , they are way to slow for withdrawals , 4 business days for a withdrawal is frankly way too slow in this competitive market where Coindelta and Bitbns super fast withdrawal within max 4 business hours .
142  Economy / Digital goods / Re: $100/$150/$200 AWS Credits || Cheap Amazon Web Services Coupons || AutoBuy on: March 02, 2018, 04:33:31 PM
Hi, I bought one $150 code from you about month and a half ago, will these codes work for the same account? Thanks!

I guess if a month has passed then its a new event, which allows you to use more codes on the same account.

Vouch for OP, legit seller.

Ok, bought one, will confirm shortly if it worked on same account. The last code I used is from a Q4/2017 event, so let's hope this one works.

EDIT: WORKED! Second purchase from me, no problems!

EDU release in different events in every quarter of the year and you can add max 4x of each event in each quarter , for example current credit is FY2018_Q1 and next will be FY2018_Q2 now if you add 4x Q1 then again when Q2 available you can add more 4x and again when Q3 release same like so on .

144  Local / India / Re: Omg crypto currencies are going to be banned in india soon!!!! on: February 27, 2018, 04:18:39 PM
OP before you freak out like that try to use the " Search " function of the forum please before creating these useless threads . There is lot of thread about this already and first go through all of that before getting panicked by Zeebiz or Aaj TAK stupidity . Read the actual Govt. notice carefully and if you do not understand consult some pro first what exactly that said . These unnecessary FUD will not help anything , One thing put in your mind that No Govt. can ban crypto , they can ban exchanges only but can't ban Peer to Peer trades . So stay calm and focus on your trading and gain while BTC is low priced Smiley

146  Local / India / Re: Does Localbitcoins and PayPal are popular in India? on: February 26, 2018, 02:02:32 AM
Yes LBC and PayPal always popular , specially PayPal well frankly its the biggest Payment processor in the world lol and nothing can beat it till date and in India its quite popular , now even opened new company due to GST Regime named as PayPal Payments Private Limited from PayPal Lte Singapore . Now for LBC if you looking Cash for your crypto then LBC is great place for anonymity and face to face trades with escrow .  Wink
147  Local / India / Re: (2018-02-19) PMO India Speaks favour of Blockchain on Twitter on: February 20, 2018, 04:29:17 PM
Good Indication , we want regulation but also Govt. should adapt the new tech . Hope we have some logical regulation instead of stupidity .
148  Local / India / Re: Citibank India Restrict Bitcoin Purchase via Credit and Debit Cards on: February 17, 2018, 03:49:29 AM
Not just Citibank but many other bank

Axis Bank
Kotak Mahindra
HDFC Bank

They said any account involved with cryptocurrency purchase can get closed without warning.

I can assure you Axis didn't Smiley and no notice whatsoever from it .

Many banks are getting stricter and anything related to crypto currency is being asked to closed. So from this what we can expect from the committee report is that ban will come soon and govt will announce it officially. So after that what will people do and are you all selling if you have any crypto?

well if ban happens which is highly unlikely then we have to use LBC Cash method for crypto sell . Most probably strict regulation and tax implementation will happen cause no one can ban crypto and it's usage . But yes Govt can ban exchanges to operate . But peer to peer trade no one can ban , for example sale in forums and LBC .
149  Local / India / Re: ICICI Bank closing accounts involved in bitcoin trading? on: February 17, 2018, 03:48:09 AM
wow this is bad ... First Kotak now ICICI

This is old news, they keep saying this but never act on it. Part of the reason being the whole shabang is untraceable.
Tip : get a B2 account if its available in your city and stick to it. Back when I was trading actively I used my B2 account extensively. Will not go into the details of the entire turnover but it was a lot. And this was after RBI made their rules more stringent in (and after) 2008.

Just use Moneypolo and transfer to any exchange accept SEPA Transfer .
How to send money to a Moneypolo account from an Indian bank and how to receive back from it? Is it any different from sending to and receiving from a Japanese Bitcoin Exchange?

Register with them and make yourself verified level 2 and you can use freely . Simply upload funds via your card 4.17% cost plus exchange rate from INR to EUR / USD cost approx 4% then transfer SEPA to any exchange accept EUR . This way you are not depositing to Direct crypto exchanges and besides you will get VISA Physical card from Moneypolo for your cash withdrawals which limit 2000$ per day and which good addition too . Also you can use withdrawals via Cash method via Muthoot Finance , Manapuram Money transfer which affiliated with Moneypolo .
150  Local / India / Re: Looking for a permanent ETH buyer who will pay via IMPS. on: February 16, 2018, 05:01:14 PM
Hello.
As the above title states, i am looking for a regular ETHerum buyer who can buy ETH from each each alternative day and send me the payment via imps to my bank account.
The buyer required to be Indian so that he can send me INR funds.
The buyer needs to aggree buying ETH according to the market rate.
The buyer needs to be verified orelse escrow will be great for starting. I would go first depending on the trust rating.
The buyer should be available to deal in Indian time.
You can contact me on Telegram or Skype or Whatsapp for further deals.
Amount of ETH i will sell you each alternative day will varry from 1000rs to 1300rs so it would not be actually that huge deal to trade with but just i want a long time partner to sell my BTC/ETH.
Also i will sell BTC weekly.
Any suggestions are welcomed.
Thank you.

If rate is 1:1 [xe.com] then i can do it .

152  Local / India / Re: Zebpay and their unethical hidden fees on: February 15, 2018, 02:53:07 AM
Seriously Outrageous fees .. I tried to deposit over 70k via Payment Gateway option and guess what fee is above 1000 INR lol . Considering the fact its almost instant deposit but fees way to much seriously . I hope Zebpay consider lowering it and strangely i notice that ICICI , HDFC , AXIS netbanking facility removed from Payment Gateway option why is that so ?
153  Local / India / Re: ICICI Bank closing accounts involved in bitcoin trading? on: February 15, 2018, 02:50:24 AM
Buying BTC from exchanges other than the ones established in India is a bad idea, as far an Indian citizen is concerned. It is the same with trading forex with foreign brokers - there are strict Foreign exchange rules regarding this - my suggestion would be to respect them and never take them lightly.

I don't think any bank will close your account for buying BTC from Indian exchanges like coinsecure, unocoin etc..people have been buying for years now.

Well also in addition buying crypto with Credit card is most bad idea , cause you would be using Bank's funds for it and Bank has complete right to stop you to do that . Never got any message or notice from bank for my usage on international .

157  Local / India / Re: ICICI Bank closing accounts involved in bitcoin trading? on: February 12, 2018, 08:34:50 AM
Received the below communication from ICICI Bank today early morning. Does this mean they will be closing the accounts of everyone involved in bitcoin trading?

We would like to bring to your notice the below important information on permissible usage of card transactions involving foreign exchange:
Under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), 1999, a resident Indian is permitted to make only those foreign exchange transactions on ICICI Bank Cards or Account that are permissible and remittance in any form towards overseas exchange trading through internet/ electronic trading portals is not permitted.
Indian residents are therefore prohibited from trading in foreign exchange in domestic and overseas market, including binary option trading with commodities, stocks, indices, bitcoin index and forex etc.
Please make note of the prohibitions on using your ICICI Bank Cards or Account for such unauthorised transactions in contravention to the FEMA and the regulations issued thereunder and that violation(s), if any, would attract action under the extant laws and regulations against such residents.

In case such transactions are noted on your ICICI Bank Cards or Account, we shall be constrained to close your card or account without any liability or responsibility on the part of the bank.

Looking forward to your co-operation in helping us serve you better.

Sincerely,

Rohit Poddar
Head - Privilege Banking

It's not new, and not related to bitcoin. In FEMA rule you can't use your card directly to any exchange outside India for trading. You are lucky, they are just closing account, otherwise you did broke rules and Police can come to your home.

Good to know about this ..

Well OP did you use credit card or debit card ?
I sold some crypto on Zebpay, coinome and koinex and withdrawn INR to my ICICI Bank account.
Is it breaking any rule?

Well if you declaring all your income properly for Income TAX Return then you shouldn't be worry and i suggest start using Axis / SBI Bank from now on . I do not know about credit card purchases but for debit card i do use a lot for PayPal and many other International crypto platforms and there is never ever any question or mail to me about it . Only thing keep in mind that never ever receive Bank Wire direct to your bank account if not coming from your family member abroad .
158  Local / India / Re: How can I buy other cryptocurrencies than bitcoins in India? on: February 11, 2018, 03:13:11 AM
Zebpay added altcoins but i would suggest you to use Coindelta , Much faster withdrawals , verification and fair fees . My experience i got verified within 10 minutes there .
159  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: coinsecure.in rejecting INR deposits on: February 11, 2018, 03:11:55 AM
Hello Everyone in the space!
In the last two days, I have tried 3 times to make my first INR deposit at the coinsecure exchange in India but all the times the requests were rejected by the compliance officer.
I am not sure why this is happening (I tried the IMPS and NEFT options). The reason to decline the request is not really specified by them other than an absurd text which says duplicate request.
I also tried writing to these guys but they won't buzzzz Sad
Looking forward for your answers..

thanks Smiley

Just message Benson Samuel about your issue and it should be solved .
160  Local / India / Re: Bitcoin is a Ponzi Sceheme:ABP News on: February 11, 2018, 03:10:18 AM
How it is related to modi government?-_-?
Almost all media are paid media ,they are backed by political parties funding no matter which channel it is ,they are paid to give good comments about their funding parties.for trp they can show any news ,they just care about profit nothing else.btc was labelled by these channels long ago ,as far i remember in 2014,some channel said btc is Ponzi but these media will not make any difference ,we live in corrupt society so btc has given a chance to these people to hid their money so btc is going nowhere it will continue to grow in price.

true thing , no one basically can stop bitcoin Smiley
