141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How real? That football players required to bribe before they are allowed to play on: July 10, 2023, 09:08:05 PM
Bribing among football players is widespread in Africa, where national football federations have a vested interest in the significant earnings of their compatriots playing in Europe. Given the numerous revelations in the past, it is not surprising that such occurrences continue to happen. The fundamental issue lies in how the country's leadership responds to such news.
Bribing has been the order of the day in football, especially in African sport. No major player would want to play for African teams since their wages and football facilities are not up to European standards. When looking at the France national squad, the number of black players outnumbers the proportion of white players. Cameron overlooked their own product, Kylian Mbappe, who is now a standout in Europe and the France national team. Although Cameron are facing the mistakes of their past, and they've learnt their lesson never to underestimate any player.
While we acknowledge the difficult situation faced by football associations in African countries, it is noticeable that many African players of French descent do not represent the African national teams. Mbappe's recent statement about potentially playing for Africa could be attributed to Osimhen, who has been in the media spotlight for a similar reason. Osimhen, like many other Nigerian players, has a strong connection and heritage in his home country.
142  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] SCAM BITTREX Exchange Website [Don't Connect Wallet] on: July 10, 2023, 08:56:40 PM
How often are court cases seen in situations where the criminal is outside the country you have access to? It is important for everyone to exercise caution, as scams are not only targeted at newcomers but can affect anyone who is not extremely careful.

144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it wise to stake your crypto currency on: July 09, 2023, 09:20:32 PM
Staking is the best way to make more of what you have especially you don't have the intentions to sell and while the market is still on bearish mode, then staking is the answer for it. I am staking my holdings for now hence bear market and I want to sell it when time comes like the bull market resumes.
Take advantage of the opportunity to stake your assets now, as the current timeframe of over a year aligns favorably with the recent Bitcoin halving and the potential altcoin season.
145  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Things that influence our trading decisions on: July 09, 2023, 04:17:19 PM
While emotional intelligence is crucial, adopting a comprehensive approach that takes into account all the factors discussed can significantly improve trading outcomes. Traders should strive to develop a holistic understanding of their emotions, cognitive biases, and actively seek support from their trading community. By doing so, they can make well-informed decisions and increase their chances of achieving success in their trading endeavors

147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: EGOcoin Bounty(FINISHED) on: July 08, 2023, 02:20:12 PM
Caution should be exercised by bounty hunters when encountering a cloned Telegram group that solicits hunter registration and promises rewards. I nearly fell victim to such a scam but managed to identify some warning signs in time.

There appears to be a conspicuous silence surrounding Sadio Mane's potential club transfer. It is my personal sentiment that if the club no longer intends to retain him, they should consider selling him. U
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi Network is under investigation in Vietnam on: July 07, 2023, 12:03:37 PM
Pi Network is a huge scam beyond our imagination. It seems Vietnam has started an investigation against them,

https://technext24.com/2023/07/06/pi-network-investigated-fraud-vietnam/

If you are still mining this coin from your smartphone, probably it's the time to remove the app permanently.
The news is very surprising, i have this coin on my smartphone i am still mining this today also some of my friends are still mining the pi coins, because they believe that this coin can make them rich in the future i also believe in it but because of this news maybe my friends and i will stop mining.
I'm not surprised by this revelation about the Pi network. It's been in existence for quite some time now, and I'm curious to know which top exchange it is currently trading on, considering its longevity. Additionally, I'm interested in learning about the influence or presence it has on social media. Unless we choose to deceive ourselves, it's clear that cryptocurrencies and social platforms go hand in hand.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: EGOcoin Bounty(FINISHED) on: July 07, 2023, 01:55:38 AM
I am not very confident they plan to pay any bounty hunters. They have had multiple delays with their TGE, 0 contact with me over the past yeart+, and are hoping you guys buy the we will pay when the time is right excuse. If the team answers me I might retract this statement, but I am not holding my breathe.
Do they have the spreadsheet at all?
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: EGOcoin Bounty(FINISHED) on: July 06, 2023, 03:10:10 PM
Ego Paysenger recently made an announcement stating that the market has successfully rebounded after receiving favorable news, and they have concluded their negotiations. There is a possibility that they will be listed either on June 29-30 or July 3. However, it's worth noting that the bounty program concluded over a year ago, and all participants are eagerly inquiring about the distribution of rewards within the group. It remains uncertain when the bounty manager will provide an update on this matter.
The team has not been in contact with me for a long time.
EGOcoin scam project ..?
The project team has reaffirmed their dedication to compensate bounty hunters. After expressing my dissatisfaction to the project owner regarding their initial refusal to pay the hunters, they denied it and publicly shared a memo expressing their intention to pay the hunters when the time is right. I encourage other hunters to persistently seek this commitment from the team through every available means they provide
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about the SENECA Blockchain project? on: July 06, 2023, 05:00:59 AM

Could it be because AI doesn't really need crypto and every funding sounds like they are trying to cash with the AI hype?
However, I hold a contrasting viewpoint regarding the necessity of cryptocurrency. In my opinion, if AI systems require any kind of financial compensation or transactions, cryptocurrency would be the ideal choice for convenient online payments on a global scale.
153  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Bitcoin hash is 380,000,000TH so small miners don't stand a chance on: July 05, 2023, 01:09:29 PM
The Bitcoin reward remains constant, but as more miners join and contribute computing power, mining difficulty increases. This adjustment happens every two weeks to maintain a 10-minute block generation time. Miners with larger investments have an advantage due to more powerful hardware, making it harder for smaller investors to compete for rewards in proportion to their investment.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about the SENECA Blockchain project? on: July 05, 2023, 10:19:32 AM
I recently came across several new projects in the cryptocurrency space, and this particular project caught my attention. However, I'm puzzled by the lack of enthusiasm in its crowdfunding efforts. At times, I can't help but wonder if the subdued response is due to the prevailing economic conditions worldwide, rather than the sentiment towards cryptocurrencies. It's crucial that we don't let VCs maintain their dominance over the space and unfairly claim a significant portion of the returns, only to sell off their investments afterwards.
155  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can DEX Replace CEX as the Future of Crypto Trading? on: July 04, 2023, 05:33:16 PM
I believe decentralized exchanges (DEX) offer significant advantages for trading and escaping government regulations and oversight. However, one limitation is that gains made through DEX cannot be easily converted to fiat currency for everyday expenses or other investment opportunities. Until DEX platforms address this issue, their full potential may not be realized.

157  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is happening in France? on: July 03, 2023, 09:38:09 PM
There is already an existing thread for this discussion and I advise you to continue with that discussion instead of creating another thread for the same discussion.

Back to the topic:  Police brutality has been on the increase across the globe and I wonder why officers of the law who are meant to protect the citizen's right are the same violating those rights to the point of committing extrajudicial killing of the 17 years who is underage so this has resulted into the unrest witnessed a cross french over the last weeks.
Next time you come across a repetition, please provide a link to the previous thread so that others can easily follow the conversation.
158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 03, 2023, 05:04:02 PM
It
Despite being actively being on the selling side of the transfer window, one would think they have already sold most of their players but I'm surprised there's plenty more that might be shown the door. It's obvious that in the past, Chelsea signed players they didn't need. I already forgot Lukaku is a Chelsea player since 2021.

- Pulisic was one of my fav Chelsea players, destroyed Liverpool's defense on multiple occasions haha.

- Odoi had prospects. I don't know what happened. He just fell off the pecking order. Too bad.

I agree Pochettino has a tough job ahead. Whatever decisions he makes now would be pivotal to how the season plays out for him and this Chelsea side.
Baba Rahman's contract has been terminated, and he is set to join POEK. It has been reported that Chelsea received a transfer fee for the sale. It would be unfair to say that all the players bought are unnecessary; some serve as backups and can be beneficial for the club's business. However, Hudson-Odoi's progress seems to have stagnated, and he has not displayed any signs of intelligence on the field. This lack of development could disappoint any coach who had high expectations for him.
159  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: How difficult life would have been without Cryptocurrency awareness in Nigeria on: July 03, 2023, 09:10:27 AM
Not everyone in the country is involved in cryptocurrency, and there are challenges associated with it, particularly regarding patience and long-term investment. It is disheartening to witness limited diversification of assets and businesses in Nigeria. The massive returns seen in cryptocurrency are not exclusive to Nigeria, as other countries have also experienced them. The key difference lies in the regulation and taxation policies. Personally, my main challenge is finding ways to securely store my cryptocurrency returns in my Dorm account, potentially through peer-to-peer (P2P) exchanges.
160  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can the ban on smartphones curtail peer pressure? on: July 02, 2023, 02:57:42 PM
Technology has had a detrimental impact on parenting, particularly due to the influence of social media on vulnerable and inexperienced children who are still developing decision-making skills. This article explores how schools have responded to this issue and the subsequent reactions of parents. It is hoped that other developed communities will take note of these concerns and work towards implementing effective measures through government intervention.

I wonder what effective measures they could possibly take that would not break into the privacy and intimacy of people's homes.
For example, in the United States, where there is an important emphasis on freedom, it would be quite scandalous if a law to punish parents who allow their children to use a phone tried to be passed by politicians.

Actually, there in USA there is a whole debate on parenting rights lately.
The United States has been at the forefront of numerous advancements, and many countries with deep-rooted traditions and religious beliefs are finding it challenging to embrace the recent changes being proposed in their respective nations. Unfortunately, some of these changes, which the USA is advocating for, have the potential to cause division and chaos within these countries.
