141  Economy / Speculation / Re: When are you buying? on: November 29, 2018, 10:23:21 PM
So at what price are you or have you been loading up on Bitcoin?

I don't have much money now, I'm planning on buying a ton of Bitcoin in late January when I get a bunch of money from the sale of the startup I work at (hoping price is still at least below $6k!!), but today I decided if this thing hits $3800 I'm picking up half a bitcoin, and if it drops significantly below that I'll try to pick up maybe as much as another half a bitcoin. For anyone with plenty of money on the side right now I hope you all are feasting on all this panic selling! This is how you get rich! Too bad I have $8k on exchanges that I bought up coins with a few months ago, I'd pick up 2 Bitcoin right now if I had that in fiat Sad
I am really short on funds so I cannot really pick any bitcoin at the moment so it is likely I will miss the opportunity of buying bitcoin for a price below 5000, it is a shame but recently I had a lot of expenses and when you add that we are getting close to Christmas that does not help at all, the only hope I have is that bitcoin remains this low for at least one more month before I can afford to buy some of it.
142  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does Stock market crash effect the price of bitcoin? on: November 28, 2018, 10:08:06 PM
I do not see how that could be the case, the market of cryptocurrencies moves independently from the stock market so it is unaffected by that market, the only way I can think the crash of the stock market could affect bitcoin was if the crash was so big that people began to look for alternative forms of investment and in that case bitcoin will not be affected negatively but positively.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to trade during red market? on: November 28, 2018, 10:04:10 PM
Interesting enough even in these apocalyptic conditions, there are some coins which stand still or have even gained some value, this is very interesting like Factom and ODEM. I dont know hy is this but it shows that there could be some plays even in these conditions.
There are always ways to make money in the most difficult markets but those opportunities are so difficult to see that only those that are experts at predicting the different markets can do it, I have seen some coins getting profits but I was not smart enough to be invested in those coins before all of this happened so if you are not that good as an investor it is better to find ways to reduce your losses than to try to make money in this market.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICOs: The Cancer of the Digital Currency Industry on: November 28, 2018, 10:00:48 PM
There is nothing sinister about what it is happening, people just want to find some kind of conspiracy against bitcoin when the most simple of the theories is enough to explain what it is happening, the price went down because no one is buying it, people thought that a recovery at the end of the year was inevitable only to discover they were wrong and they began selling their coins.
145  Economy / Speculation / Re: What can save the market? on: November 28, 2018, 09:56:26 PM
Friends, I read a bunch of predictions on the market, haters rubbing their hands say that this is the end of Bitcoin and crypto.
More positive people say: use and buy, decline is the best time to buy Bitcoin, as soon as it nevertheless reaches the bottom, it will grow even stronger, some like McAfee say calm down and just relax, and Ilon is going to Mars.
But if you look at the situation as seriously as possible, then how bad is it? What will save the cryptocurrency market? What do you think?
There is no need to save the cryptocurrency market, the price of most coins went down for lack of demand and the price will go up when that demand increases and that is not going to happen until bitcoin gets improved by the developers, something that is already in a very advanced progress and we can expect good results during the next years.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC bear market over????? on: November 28, 2018, 08:05:32 PM
many people want the market to return to a bull run, but the fact is that there has been a very drastic decline in bitcoin in the past 10 days.
It is natural to want to see the market making money for us but at this point the chances that we are going to see a bull run are incredibly low and no one should try to make short term profits in the market because if he does then most likely he is going to lose his money to the market and that is not a good idea when it is so obvious that trying to making money in this market is not easy at all.
147  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is one of the saviors. on: November 27, 2018, 11:04:16 PM
If used correctly bitcoin can definitely help people to overcome financial troubles they may have but something as powerful as bitcoin also has the potential to damage people if they do not know what they are doing, we have seen many stories like that in the forum of people that invested during the all time high and they lost so much money that now they are in bigger financial troubles than when they began.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worst year of trading for me damn on: November 27, 2018, 10:54:13 PM
You are not the one, this year was hard for trading also all my holdings become nothing, still holding and believe in miracle
Yeah, anyone that is making money in this difficult market is either very lucky or an incredible trader, almost a genius in the activity, but for the rest of us regardless of our abilities as traders this year has been terrible and there is no indication this is over, since the price could go even lower and we could lose even more money at the end of the year.
149  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money on a long-term period on: November 27, 2018, 10:47:29 PM
Saving money over the long term is not difficult but very few people have the will to do consistently, this is why saving should be taught from a very early age, I have been saving money since I was a kid and now I am saving bitcoin, and I will not be surprised that I will be the person in the best economic position of my family in just a few years despite being the youngest member.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New price of ETH on: November 27, 2018, 10:38:19 PM
ETH is sinking deep into the red and at a very shocking price of $ 173.23. Does ETH go down to $ 50? I'm considering this possibility can be possible.
At this point in time everything is possible, it was not long ago that ethereum was above 250 dollars and now it is barely above 100 so while I really hope that does not happen I can not discard the possibility that ethereum is going to touch such a low price especially when the market of icos is being directly affected by the crash that we are experimenting.
151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did you ever regret having gotten into Bitcoin? on: November 27, 2018, 10:30:18 PM
Regret? Only not this, because this is the best thing that has happened to me in recent years! Bitcoin has made it possible for many people to earn good money and fulfill their dreams! The only thing I regret is that I entered cryptocurrency only a year ago, and not before
That is a common regret but one that is very easy to solve by just remaining in the market, if you do that it will not be long before newbies are saying that they would have liked joining when you did, when that happens you will know that you have been in the market long enough to see good profits, just make sure your reason for being here is not only to get profits or it will be difficult to remain in the market.
152  Economy / Economics / Re: Commodities Gold/ Silver on: November 24, 2018, 04:26:18 AM
We all know that Cryptocurrency will be big in 3 to 5 years time. However do you believe that gold and/ or silver are alternative investments as well?

Discuss
If you have the money to invest in both of those markets then it is a good idea to do it, gold and silver have been valuable for a very long time and their value is recognized all over the world, so you cannot go wrong by investing in gold and silver, just remember that it is not likely that you are going to get the same amount of profits that you can get in the market of cryptocurrencies and that the amount of time you need to hold them to get profits is longer as well.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: More altcoins produced the more Bitcoin or even ETH will go down on: November 24, 2018, 04:21:33 AM
In my own opinion, the more altcoins and erc20 tokens being released everyday in market, the more it affects Bitcoin or even Ethereum's price to go down.Since the volume of investors should be instead investing on btc and eth are now divided to altcoins. What do you think?
I agree that the huge number of coins in the market affect bitcoin but not for the reasons that you believe, if you take the time to look at the statistics of the market you will see that most of the money is concentrated on the top coins so a new coin that is able to gather a few million dollars from investors is not a threat to those top coins, the problem is that many of those coins are scams and this gives bad reputation to the market.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Want to earn some ethereum. How could I? on: November 24, 2018, 04:09:45 AM
I want to earn some ETH. How could I earn some ETH? Is there any website which will pay in ETH? Or is there any source of work, which will pay ETH as payment? Help me...
Despite the popularity of ethereum in the forum you are not going to find many places where you can earn ethereum directly, it is better for you to concentrate on ways to earn money in general regardless of the coin in which you are paid and then you use that money that you got from those jobs and use it to buy ethereum, I know that is not what you're looking for but you do not have many options since earning ethereum that way is very difficult.
155  Economy / Speculation / Re: What factors cause the fall in price of Bitcoin? on: November 24, 2018, 04:03:06 AM
Maybe some whales cause this fall. What you think guys? We will see a new drop under 5000$ this month?
People love to complain and to blame the whales about everything that happens in the market but do you think that they like the idea of bitcoin crashing so hard? They are the ones that are losing the most money with this, the average person in this forum is not holding even one bitcoin so they are not losing much, the whales in the other hand are losing millions of dollars with what's happening.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: FAILED ICO - FAILED BOUNTIES on: November 24, 2018, 03:57:02 AM
Most of the rising ico these days fail because of the lack of experienced members,  raised money is not enough to continue the project ,and lastly no one is buying thier token.
Money has never been the most important thing that a project should have, the two most important things a project needs to have so it can become successful are a good idea and the ability to make that idea a reality and unfortunately many icos do not have any of those two factors and as you may guess that causes them to fail and to lose money in the long term.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Professional Union of Bounty Hunters! on: November 22, 2018, 05:54:24 PM
Hi, everybody. It's a good idea to team up. Only the structure of this Union is unclear. What will this Union be responsible for? What powers does he have? It's not even clear how he'll protect bounty hunters. In fact, there are many questions about the creation of the Union and its work.
And that is why it won't work, it seems like a nice idea but when you begin to try to make that idea a reality you find that there are impossible obstacles to overcome, how are you going to make that people all over the world from different countries are going to all agree to create an organization that protects them? And even if you did that as impossible as it sounds, how is that organization going to protect the bounty hunters?
158  Economy / Economics / Re: Money Matters on: November 22, 2018, 05:48:20 PM
Money is literally the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on humanity.
Its only purpose in recent history has the worlds self appointed dictators to divide and control the people.

Considering we are all inhabiting the same planet and all born with the same inalienable rights (natural law), those who seek to be our betters and control us should be cast out of civilized society.
We can live without money if people are willing to cooperate.
In fact it is already happening in communities around the world (See Ubuntu Contributionism - Michael Tellinger)

People often say it sounds great but how would it work?
Well, the Ubuntu movement has not only shown it can, but has created a blueprint mapping out the "how" to liberate humanity from the debt slavery that is money.

There is no reason that anyone on this planet should suffer or go without the basic necessities and creature comforts of life.
It is the greed of a few who seek to hoard our resources for their own personal benefit that makes life miserable for everyone else.

These sociopaths are known. Once more people need wake up to their crimes against humanity and this planet, the sheer momentum of the masses will wash these same evil dictators and their mindless horde of order followers from our world.
Fiat money is without a doubt a scam, but money in general it isn't a scam, there is a huge difference and you need to see it, money is nothing more but a tool that is used to facilitate trade, if it wasn't for money you will be unable to write that post in a computer because it is very likely that computers will not exist, so things are not as simple as you make them out to be.
159  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is why I'm not worried about Bitcoin price. on: November 22, 2018, 05:42:48 PM
I am not that worried about the price either, what really worries me is what caused the crash that we saw, because it was very sudden and very few saw any indication that something like this could happen, that is what really worries me because if the price is being manipulated by powerful individuals which have lots of bitcoins then this means the market is not as mature as I thought.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it good to buy after ICO because price may drop? on: November 22, 2018, 05:29:55 PM
depends on the specific project and the overall market situation. It should also keep in mind that you should not wait for a sharp jump in the market
Exactly, there is not a definite answer to this and it depends entirely on the coin and in the circumstances in the market, as you may guess with the market being so bad at the moment buying any ico sounds like a terrible decision to me, in the last year you could buy almost any ico and make incredible profits, in this year you could buy the best ico and you will still get losses.
