Great information on how to prevent hackers from hacking your wallet however I dont think these hackers can really be stopped. All we just need to do is just be cautious and dont give them a benefit of a doubt to hack your wallet. And always secure your wallet, log in to sites that are the correct ones and not those phishing sites.

If you want to play it safe then go for altcoin investment and coins that have names already that you are familiar of. But if you are a risk taker and would want to hope for bigger profits but are too risky because there is no assurance it will prosper then go for ICO investment.

I agree, eventually these banks would give in and jump in the bandwagon then the blockchain technology would help develop the economics of a certain country and anything that needs the betterment of a nation.

Try OAX too, I think it is one of the best coin to invest because it has been listed to some exchanges already but the ICO is still ongoing. Or try TRON because I have heard this coin is great and could be worth something in the next few years, I think it has increased its price lately so wait for the coin to drop its price back again.

Before I used to go all in when I trade and would say to myself, go all or go home. But I changed my ways after a year of trading, based on experience I realized that since the price constantly fluctuates and lately has gone more down than up so I always keep some spare money in case it goes down more.

Yes that's true and could even go down to $5k, so if the market does not look good we should all be prepared and hold on to our coins instead of panic selling them. And buy some coins that are good for investment if it goes down and of course if you have funds to buy the coins as well.

I agree with you on this OP but maybe because of how they were introduced with these cryptocurrencies and most especially Bitcoin. Sometimes if you introduced them Bitcoin as a "money-making machine" then of course these newbies would always think they just need to join because of the profits they could gain and not the real sole purpose of how Bitcoin is supposed to be used.

Had a bad experience before with Poloniex but I am not using that exchange site anymore, and switched to Hitbtc which is much more okay than Poloniex. And also I've tried livecoin.net which is still okay but rarely use this site though and also currently trying out Okex.

I agree with you OP, and I really feel like Bitcoin will be here for a long time too. People who says the coin will be useless are those who are just creating FUDs, and wanted more people to sell their bitcoin and dump them with another cryptocurrency. Which mostly happens with newbies because they will panic once they see bitcoin decrease its value.

For me what we really lack in the crypto world would have to be knowledge about the cryptocurrencies. I think if everyone would have knowledge about using these cryptocurrencies then no one would use them negatively. And so we can pass it on to our kids and they could pass it to their kids as well in the future if it will last long, but of course knowledge would play a big role for cryptocurrencies to stay longer.

I think there are a couple of exchange sites that does not require any verification so I dont think there is an age limit for you to use the exchange site. So it would be best if you'd do some research first and check if the altcoins you want to trade with are listed on that exchange site.

Why did you have to place everything in just one coin? It wasn't a good move but since you already have it then the best thing you could do is just hold on to it until it reaches back to the amount you have bought it.

If you bought it at the time you posted this thread OP then it was worth it, but now it has increased already and is still on the rise so it would not be ideal for you to buy at this time but if ever it comes down then you should buy a couple of Ethereum.

The best advise I could give you would be to be very patient especially in investing cryptocurrencies because its not all the time the market is good, there will be times the market wod look so ugly you would want to consider quitting.

I think both are profitable if you really are into it. Like in trading, if you strive harder and go for day trading you will achieve the amount you want to achieve in within a month. In mining also, you can get that amount you want but would need to buy a lot of things and spend much also to compensate everything.

When you sell things online you also need to register you business in order for you to fully operate it and not take it down. So I think for as long as it is okay to put up a buy and sell business online and accepting cryptocurrencies it would be easy for them to market because a lot of people are already aware of the cryptocurrencies.

I would most probably buy BTC still so my losses would be lessen because of bitcoins price that's half of the amount when I bought it in and if it does go down more I'd buy them again. They call it diversification, if I'm not mistaken. Then I'll just hold my coin until it reaches back to that amount and wait until it goes more than $20k.

I still think Bitcoin will take control of the market probably because some altcoins depend on bitcoins price and would very much vary depending on how much bitcoin is today. Sometimes it pulls down the altcoin if its price is dropping and sometimes it pulls it upward if the price of bitcoin goes up as well.

In my opinion and based on my observation from family and friends, they do not want to invest in crypto it is because they think it is a scam especially those news they see wherein people scam people using bitcoin. Another reason would have to be being ignorant, they have not known that much about bitcoin so basically they assume it is something negative.

I don't think Bitcoin will be the only single currency used in the whole wide world if everyone agrees cryptocurrencies can be used. If ever Bitcoin can be used, then there is no point of these other digital currencies if only a single cryptocurrency is accepted.
