141  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do you really care if your data is exploited?? on: May 26, 2018, 12:02:33 PM
Yes, because it contains private information about yourself that other people shouldnt know about. Such information cant possibly be entrusted to other people. They can take advantage of your data and use it to perform illicit acts, sell it for something malicious which in turn will cause you harm.  It is important that you keep your account safe at all times to avoid such predicaments and that you should be careful in where and when you could share your information..
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it normal to wait for 6 months for a bounty reward? on: May 26, 2018, 11:46:30 AM
It usually takes a month and a half. That's the longest time period that i have experienced before i can even receive my pay. There are some instances that it can be a little frustrating, because there are some campaigns that will give you a specific time on when you'll receive your coins but it turns out that it'll have to take a little more longer than that. they'll move the given sched, week after week but that's okay.. just make sure that the campaign is legit.. because if not ( and that you have waited over 3 months for your pay ) then you're screwed
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins hold to moon 1 year? on: May 26, 2018, 11:20:01 AM
If you intend to invest in altcoins then your at a loss.. especially if you plan on long term investment, but if you consider ETH as an altcoin that you would invest in then i guess the chances of gaining profit will be higher than those offered in the market. You see, altcoins are temporary.. it runs on its pump period.. and when it finishes then the value drops to a point that it ends up nonexistent. If you want you could invest in bitcoins, atleast it wouldnt be as risky as the other one.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the price of bitcoin so high on: May 25, 2018, 09:11:59 AM
I think it has something to do with bitcoin being the first currency created in a virtual platform and how it has gained a multitude of investors and buyers altogether. When it was first introduced, bitcoin generated a lot of hype among the public and has continuously increased its demand ever since. Considering that it was the first cryptocurrency, it has caught the attention of potential buyers and investors seemingly curious and interested on the said currency.. well that is just my speculation on the topic
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are some stable altcoins ? on: May 25, 2018, 07:09:43 AM
I think Ethereum is the most stable and most valuable coin in the market next to bitcoin, but its price still flactuates from time to time. Truth be told cryptocurrencies arent that stable, there are times where its price fall from its current one.. and then the next hour it increases in value. The next stable altcoin is Litecoin but its price is lower than of ETH..
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of altcoins without Bitcoin on: May 25, 2018, 06:26:07 AM
If im not mistaken ETH is an altcoin that doesnt rely on bitcoin's value and current standing. The same goes for other altcoins, though its price isnt that much of a grand compared to bitcoin. Now, what you have said isnt far from happening.. maybe in the next 15 to 20 years bitcoin will slowly fade out of its existence and with that, there's a chance that ETH will take the opportunity of bitcoin's downfall considering that it is the 2nd most valuable coin in the market. Sure, some altcoins wouldnt survive the fall but there are those that will still rise to the occasion
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 7000$ to invest for 2018 on: May 25, 2018, 01:00:55 AM
I suggest that you should lower the set price for investing.. but if you're really that confident, no one is stopping you from what you have planned. Investing may be tricky and that it should be thoroughly assessed before pouring all of your money into it, since there are those that arent legit. You should find projects that are worth your money.. something that guarantees success. If you like, you could divide the 7000 dollars and invest it on different projects.. like ETH.. or BTC.. and if your not that sure of the project then you should lower the set price .. make it 300 dollars perhaps?
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people try to create their own coins? on: May 24, 2018, 12:31:45 AM
Im not that knowledgable on the said topic but i think the reason is that they want to promote and develop the introduced project to the public via their own newly made coin so that they can manage the transactions that have been made by the participants with ease. moreover the purchased coin will be easily distinguished from other projects that have a much similar concept.. just like how two different projects aim to prevent false advertisement.. with XXX coin belonging to XXX project and with YYY coin belonging to YYY project

150  Economy / Economics / Re: Will governments create their own cryptocurrency that will replace fiat? on: May 22, 2018, 12:19:56 PM
It depends on the country and its current state.. but i highly doubt that the government's newly made cryptocurrency would be a substantial replacement for fiat money.. and for a number of reasons.. first of all, it isnt stable and it runs through a virtual platform.. it will be hard to control its flow and transactions.. you know, we've been using the same kind of currency for years and there arent any problems which regards to its monetary stability so why would the government change such a thing in the first place? In fact, if we would take the time to read previously constructed articles, it is bluntly stated that some countries are against cryptocurrency.. with the reason that it disrupts its economy
151  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can I earn bitcoin using facebook, youtube, or in any social media? on: February 17, 2018, 02:16:16 PM
You can earn bitcoins through social media, just go to the marketplace in this forum and open bounties section, there you will find various of projects that will offer social media campaigns.. you can check the rules and the offered amount of supply dedicated to the bounty campaigns.. if your popular on the internet then you're in luck because you're best suited to participate in social media campaigns.
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Banks fear cryptocurrency on: February 17, 2018, 02:02:15 PM
In my opinion, banks wouldnt be that much concerned when it comes to cryptocurrencies because of the fact that there are those who prefer to convert bitcoins to cash, like old fashioned citizens, they would definitely keep that portion safe in a bank.. though what i do now is that the government is the one who fears cryptocurrency the most.. why? Lack of man power within the society. When people start to lean on bitcoins they would definitely not work for the sake of fiat money.
153  Other / Meta / Re: How Do You Feel About This New System?? on: February 17, 2018, 01:53:09 PM
I think its a smart move to avoid low quality posters from spamming their way up to their desired rank and it reduces the work of moderators in deleting useless posts, a task that is definitely time consuming. The merit system really justifies those who are usually taking their time to construct high quality posts, worthy of moving up to the next rank though for me, the merit system really is difficult because of the fact that ranking up will rely on those who will give you merits.
154  Other / Meta / Re: A summon to all native or non native English speakers. on: February 17, 2018, 01:41:12 PM
Its not that easy to construct words into gramatically correct structures especially to those who havent learned nor do not consider english as their second choice of language used within the premises of their country . If a person isnt proficient in the use of the english language then re learning the basics would take a significant amount of time though these people can be difficult to understand sometimes, usually those who post in this forum. Their structures are all jumbled up, transitional words are wrong and so on so forth that's why its hard to comsider if their posts are of high quality or not.
155  Other / Meta / Re: After the Merit System on: February 17, 2018, 01:31:23 PM
Im really confused, if seniors give merit to those who are in need does that mean that it is deducted from their current amount of merits? If so.. will their rank decrease to member? You see my merit points is equivalent to 250 and i think if i decided to give a portion to newbies and junior members my account will go back to the previous rank.. im not saying that i dont want to give merits.. i just need a better understanding when it comes to this merit system.
156  Economy / Economics / Re: Better to mine or to buy ? on: February 16, 2018, 03:18:51 PM
I think you should stick to mining Acoins since what you've said is that the chances of gaining profits is high but if by any chance that its rate starts to decrease then i think you should switch to Bcoin. As long as one of those coins can recover the expenses used in mining, one particular example is its electricity, then you're good to go. If not then i guess the best option here is to just invest on it and see where it leads you to.
157  Economy / Economics / Re: why do people agree to pay taxes? on: February 16, 2018, 03:11:52 PM
Its not that the government pools all that money together just for their personal needs and wants .. taxes are a way to improve a country's economy.. to build infrastructures and all kinds of projects that the citizens would benefit from.. its like a circulation of how the money flows within society.. with its citizens giving a portion of their salary which in turn would be given back to them by means of infrastructures and the like..
158  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is recovering on: February 16, 2018, 03:42:25 AM
We can definitely see that bitcoin is slowly recovering from its loss of value. I hope that its price will continuously increase for the weeks to come. I've been holding my bitcoins until the day comes that it reaches the price of 15 000 dollars though i doubt that it would happen again. Im not saying that it is impossible, but it would take months before that happens and i must say that it is a slow process. Despite of this i continue to keep my hopes up that this week's price hike will constantly pile up until it reaches my desired amount
159  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: January 21, 2018, 03:03:50 AM
For me, bitcoin's price is relevant.. as a citizen of a country that has not fully developed bitcoin as a mode of payment i would definitely rely on bitcoin's price because i usually convert it to cash.. in my country bitcoin hasnt been accepted as a form of payment and as an individual i would like to spend my bitcoin in various of things that i need on a daily basis..
160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: January 21, 2018, 02:13:08 AM
Yes, it is risky.. you shouldnt dump all of your money on bitcoins because its price is really unpredictable and not all of the investments found on this forum is trustworthy.. if you like to invest in bitcoins you should divide your money into several parts.. if your sure of the project that you will be investing on then its up to you in what amount you should give but remember that you shouldnt invest all of you money on it
