1401  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: July 19, 2017, 04:51:07 AM
Well, in my opinion, Gold is Gold, Having more Golds means the higher the price of fiat money
Bitcoin is internet dependent, but holding it means investing it and waiting for the rise of the value of bitcoin.
Which is better? I think Gold is still better than Bitcoin when it comes to holding it and Gold is "physical".

Even bitcoin is digital gold mate and more valuable in real gold and in future you will see much higher price of bitcoins and gold will never be in position to take over that price of bitcoins so to earn higher profits we should invest our money in bitcoins.
1402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you would win a Jackpot what would you do with the money? on: July 19, 2017, 04:03:45 AM
If I win a jackpot then I will invest that money in real world and in real business from where I can get good return for a lifetime and may be I will buy some apartments and give it on rent so that it can give me passive income on monthly basis without doing anything the only I need to do is go and collect the rent.
1403  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin investing on: July 19, 2017, 04:01:20 AM
so, what id like to do is invest bitcoins to a stock or mutual fund account, but am not sure the best way to go about it. any tips/advice?

I don't think there are any bitcoin mutual funds, yet.
Buy and hold strategy with respect to Bitcoin is more popular, than investing it.

I also think about it, as I know bitcoins have mutual funds yet. But as what he said and what we all do, buy and hold bitcoins. But me I don't actually buy bitcoins I ain them through joining on a signature campaigns and other stuff. And I hold it and sell whenever I need to. Thats bitcoins we are the one who controls our money.

There are many ways to get bitcoins by working on it so even if you don't have money to buy them you always have an choice to earn them and that is the best thing about bitcoins and whatever you earn you can save it for future or else invest in trading where you will grow your bitcoins even quicker.
1404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: July 19, 2017, 03:58:57 AM

The best thing I like in bitcoin is that I can earn through it without any money that serves as an investment.  All I need is just time and effort and a lot of English. I can provide for my needs and wants and I can provide money on my own. If I want something there is no need to beg money from someone especially to my mother. I will be the one to gave her money.

Yes that is the best thing about bitcoin as it has helped us in becoming financially independent and now we don't have to ask for money from our family or friends as we can take care of our own expenses by earning money from bitcoins in different ways.
1405  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to learn how to trade on: July 19, 2017, 03:01:35 AM
I know this may seem like something that is easy to find with google but I am having a difficult time finding a good forum or website where trading strategy is the primary goal and I can improve my skills. I used to play online poker and stopped after Black Friday.

My question is are there any websites that are like the 2+2 forums, card runners or deucescracked etc.? Where have you gone to learn about daytrading cryptocurrencies?

I got into this a little over a month and half ago and while I am up because of just a lucky decision or two I am quickly going to lose my ass if I don't figure out some sort of effective strategy.

In short, I suck at this and really need some help.

Thanks

Edit: Before someone replies I just want to throw this out there, I'm pretty sure this is a good website to learn about coins and what not and I come here everyday but I have a very hard time sorting through the bullshit. Obviously this place might be a great place but I might be in the wrong sections.

Investopedia is a great resource. I used them a lot when I was learning to trade and still use them a lot today.

I would recommend reading about fundamental and technical methods of determining an asset's value and analyzing its price movement. I would also read a lot about value investing. It is important to learn how to take advantage of disparities between price and value.

I also highly recommend practicing paper trading before you risk real money on trades. You can do that here:
www.demoinvestor.com

I did that for a few months before I started trading with real money and it helped a lot. Paper trading can be a valuable tool.

Anyway, my number one piece of advice would be to be patient and take your time with everything. Be cautious, and don't let emotion drive your decisions.
The best way to learn on how you can trade is to look for someone that is already trading, with that you can ask him or her to share his or her experiences when it comes to bitcoin trading.By that you can receive a first hand information and you will be able to learn how to trade bitcoin.
That's right its always good to take an advice from expert who is into trading world since long time as he will share his real life experience which can help you in understanding the concept of trading and more knowledge you always have an choice to look for videos on youtube.
1406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: July 19, 2017, 02:58:57 AM
Gambling itself indicates that we are focusing on making money. My main agenda I am gambling because I want to earn money through and at the same time, i am enjoying a lot of fun while gambling. Sometimes it is going to be miserable and some times it will be good for me.

It would be really dishonest to say that we gamble only for fun as our main intention is to make more money in quick time and that is possible only in gambling but its good to make money while having fun so I always prefer to gamble only with a small amount so even I loose it won't affect me badly.
1407  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: July 19, 2017, 02:54:39 AM

Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

How much money did you earn with bitcoins? Or did you lose some?

For some people, bitcoin is a good way to make money, and me too, not too hard to make a profit from it, however, you can also lose a lot of money. Bitcoin is like a double-edged sword, it's only for the wise.

Getting rich with bitcoin is possible and lots of people got rich with bitcoin. This is true. But from now on, it's not that easy to get rich by having bitcoins because it's really expensive itself.

Yeah and to get rich with it you need to have huge amount of bitcoins in your wallet which is not possible now as price is very high now so cannot afford to invest higher capital in it and its also not easy to earn bitcoins as it requires great efforts and hard work even to earn a small amount of bitcoins.
Actually the higher the bitcoin price of course it will benefit you more. Because you can sell bitcoin at a more expensive price
So try to get as much bitcoin as possible. There are many methods of getting bitcoins for free or using capital

There are many ways to earn bitcoins but the fact is people are not having enough time to spend online on daily basis as most of the users will be earning bitcoins in their part time and their full time job would eat away all their time so it becomes more difficult to earn more amount of bitcoins in limited time.
1408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: July 19, 2017, 02:52:22 AM
What makes people compel to hold the bitcoin in this critical situation? What are they waiting for? Any good reason?
There are two reasons, first, long term holders are planning to hold for a very long time, a decade or two maybe more, so to them this is nothing, especially if we compare this to the 2013 crash, and second, if you sell at a lower price than you bought then you lose money, but if you keep holding and the price goes back to normal then you did not lose a thing, so as you see the explanation is actually quite simple.

Yes and the basic reason behind holding bitcoins is to make more money from it in future as we have seen great growth in the price of bitcoins in this year in compare to last year so if we can hold them for next 4 to 5 years then we can make huge money from it at that time.
1409  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do I hold? on: July 19, 2017, 01:16:21 AM
I have recently took investing on poloniex serious. Ever since I've invested the alt coins have been down. Do the amount of coins I posses go up if I stay. Also, do I have to wait for the coins to go back to their original price that I bought fo in order to make a profit? What are the reasons to holding if prices are down? Thank-you.

If you hold the coins when its go down, you will not lose any money because you will not withdraw it when you will not gain profit. In holding coins, if the price is going up again you can sell it so that you can earn profit but its take too much time.

No one will sell their coins when price is going down and in that case everyone will prefer to hold and wait for the price to go higher and as of now the best thing to do is to hold as price has fallen and if you sell now then it will affect your profits very badly so wait for the right time to sell your coins.
1410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: July 19, 2017, 01:14:13 AM
I think it's better to gamble because you can earn money fast, it might be risky but it's faster and easier.

Its faster but never easier as it will depend on luck and depending every time on luck is really risky and you may win sometimes if you are really lucky but you cannot expect the same result every time from it and if you loose then you will be left with nothing in hands.
1411  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Give me advice pls! (Online shop) on: July 19, 2017, 01:12:23 AM
Its better to sell digital products instead of physical products as for that you also need to have shipping facilities and if you cannot manage to deliver goods on time then it will create a negative impression on the minds of customers and it can create a bad image of your website which can affect the traffic very badly.
1412  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be the next big increase in bitcoin? on: July 19, 2017, 01:09:47 AM
Definitely a few weeks after the segwit. Since I, personally, am expecting a drop in price in the last week of july and then the boom after the few weeks.

Hoping for that price drop like the the plant for rain during the summer. :/
The safest time is after segwit because the price is expected to have stability and also after segwit bitcoin prices could have a clear benchmark.
If the current price declines of course this is an opportunity to earn profits by buying bitcoin, and then sell it in the future at a higher price.

Yes this is a really good time to buy bitcoins as price is not at highest level now and it is predicted that it will go higher in next month and if not it will surely go higher in the end of the year so this is the best opportunity to buy bitcoins and to get higher profits in near future.
1413  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: July 19, 2017, 01:07:42 AM
It will greatly reduce unemployment rate and also provide extra income to those who already have jobs. But this process will take ample amount of time and that is why having a job is a lot faster in gaining income. Then again, it also varies from one individual and another and it also requires great amount of patience and discipline to see results.

Well, it's fair though. I mean, by having a time on bitcon, you also can earn money with it and of course you will take amount of time. You can do both, have a job and work with bitcoin too though. You will gain extra income but you will busy and get tired easily, but it's really worth at all.
It provides with an additional earning for a better living, for the same we cannot say that it decrease the unemployment of the nations. Every year the outcome of people out of universities were increasing and because of the automation the man power requirements were decreasing creating unemployment.
There are people who are making their living just with bitcoin earning. So, we can expect more opportunities in near future so that those unemployed people could find their way of living from bitcoin related opportunities. When new business are getting innovated based on bitcoin payment systems, we can expect more opportunities for every common people.

This way I am seeing bitcoin is helping reducing unemployment and in coming years we can witness more earning opportunities out of bitcoin based stuff in this pace.

Yes it definitely helps in reducing unemployment because their is no more process in earning money.  Knowledge in bitcoin, computer and internet is all you need to start to earn money.  I wish more people will learn to earn through this means.  So that everyone will have the opportunity to earn bitcoins.
Bitcoin really helps lessen the unemployed. Not because it give an instant job to someone but because it enables a person to earn money without any academic requirement. Time will really play a big part if you are earning bitcoin but if you're not that patient then don't expect too much from it. You should also still find a stable job because you cannot depend on bitcoin due to it's risky and you're not fully sure if it will be enough for you on providing your needs.

Bitcoin is good as an additional income and you cannot fully depend on it for living as you never know what will happen tomorrow but its giving good income to people which can take care of their basic stuffs and it is surely giving people an earning opportunity.
1414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: July 18, 2017, 11:59:55 PM
SA lost as expected but I feel bad for the team as they tried till the end. I still had hope they would make it but even after the 18th over as they were restricting the team to make runs and after the 8th wicket, Shrubsole hit a 4 on the first ball. SA's captain too felt they were 30 balls short but still for a small score, they bowled brilliantly and tried till the end. The next semi final will be even better I guess and am hoping for a miracle so that India win it.

Yes England won the game as we all thought they would but it didn't come easy as I thought it might of been as the South African women's team did put up a great performance and also pulled off the victory but it wasn't to be. Now we shall see who will face the England team in the final, I'm still expecting Australia to win but I'm not counting India out of it just yet as they have a great team that can get the job done so I look forward to watching this match.

India have performed well in this series and everyone is looking in good form and they will surely want to carry their winning performance in coming match too and the performance from Mithali Raj will play a important role in deciding the result of the game.
1415  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Making a living off of bitcoin faucets, is it actually possible? on: July 18, 2017, 11:55:28 PM
It may be was possible in the past when the price of bitcoin was in peanuts and faucets sites used to pay huge payouts but if now you are looking to earn a living only from faucets then it is impossible as the payouts are too low and it will only waste your time and you will never be satisfied with your earnings from faucets.
1416  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where would you invest $100? on: July 18, 2017, 10:59:04 PM
Of course, $ 100 is not much for investment. And even from this amount you can make a good investment in the future. It is necessary to count on long-term, only in this way it is possible to increase considerably 100 dollars by 300-500%. Kiss If we consider even more income, then we must understand that this is a super-high-risk investment. In this situation, most likely the money will be lost. Huh
I fully agree that Lightcoin is today one of the most promising coins. Roll Eyes

Are you sure that litecoin is a good investment to make at a moment? As I am planning to invest 0.1 btc but not sure in which coin should I invest as my mind says that DGB can be promising in coming days so I am very much confused that in which coin should I invest my money.
1417  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Did you use OKPAY to buy Bitcoin? on: July 18, 2017, 10:54:10 PM
The only place from where  I buy bitcoins is on localbitcoins as I find that place very trusted and safe and I am buying from there since long time and haven't faced any issue with the security of money as there are many trusted traders with high trust ratings and localbitcoins use escrow which makes it even more safer.
1418  Economy / Speculation / Re: Finally, Bitcoin is Bouncing Back! on: July 18, 2017, 10:51:26 PM
When the price of bitcoin breached the resistance of $2000 i never expected the price to bounce back before August ,but it is really interesting to see how strong bitcoin is as people are buying the coins when ever the price goes down,i thought the August drama will scare investors and i am totally wrong, would like to see how the price would be at the end of July.

Price may go down as we get close to the end of the month but its good to see that price is going higher now and if people continue to buy then we can expect the same rise in coming days too and it would be very interesting too see what will be the price after the segwit activation.
1419  Economy / Economics / Re: Where did you first heard about Bitcoins? on: July 18, 2017, 10:49:19 PM
I heard bitcoin about 4 months ago. From a friend who often makes post on facebook about bitcoin. I am curious about what he does. Where does he make money online? Since then I keep asking him. About bitcoin and how to earn money

Even I came to know about bitcoins only because of one of my friend who was earning bitcoins from signature campaign and trading and he showed me to how to earn bitcoins and since then I haven't looked back and earning good amount of bitcoins on regular basis..thanks to my friend for introducing me to bitcoins.
1420  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin die soon? on: July 18, 2017, 10:47:31 PM
Bitcoin is in its younger age and it has started to grow now and its also getting attention from the people across the globe so I don't think that bitcoin will die soon and in fact it will become more popular and stronger currency in future when adoption level will go higher.
