1401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin story on: December 01, 2023, 08:15:28 AM
That's something which all of us should try doing and this might atleast help them understand that how anything new and innovative can become a life changer as we are fed to believe in the traditional ideology and methods instead of being taught to believe in new technologies and something which is not a business as usual. This will enable them to start exploring and getting themselves involved into technologies of future. When Bitcoin was introduced to me I though it's a scam and some sort of multi level marketing of pyramid scheme but I was wrong.

It should be in the context of Bitcoin but not limited to Bitcoin as our end goal should be enabling them to be open for radical changes and new innovations, which would keep them ahead of rest and work for betterment through these technologies.
1402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best way to store your seed phrase? on: December 01, 2023, 07:22:59 AM
The idea you Ave mentioned is great as it will keep the seed phrase safe and I would probably think of t if I am hodling a huge amount of crypto in a particular wallet. But at the moment it's too much of an hassle for me and as a person who had already lost seed phrase of blockchain wallet in the past by writing and keeping it somewhere I have started a simple strategy of sharing the seed phrase from my personal email to alternative email so it's there in two separate places and also uploads the same in cloud.
1403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Joy of forgotten Bitcoin accounts... on: November 30, 2023, 06:51:45 PM
Happy for you mate, atleast it allowed you to change the password or maybe you had saved the seed phrase somewhere but unfortunately not the case for my blockchain wallet as seed phrase is lost and it been over 8 years but unable to retrieve my account with some amount of Bitcoin in it.

Just want to give you an advice since you got to know the growth and return on investment through Bitcoin, why don't you start hodling Bitcoin? I mean even I am doing it as i buy in parts whenever I can and down the line this would yield more profit to us.
1404  Economy / Economics / Re: China's real-estate sector is NOT doing well, it might bring whole economy down on: November 30, 2023, 04:35:15 PM
This is what happens when purchasing power of people declines and there are government and banks who will surely bail out these builders, but what about the people over there? There were some massive mistakes made by this current regime and if we look at the broader picture we may find China is in vulnerable state at the moment because of its declining working population and all these sanctions, humanitarian issues. I think it's time communist regime relook into their policy and work towards growth of people rather than industrialists and once people are financially stable then by default their buying power would increase and such crisis might be rare.
1405  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many traders will lose soon a lot the ftx 2.0 is ready on: November 30, 2023, 02:00:53 PM
What are you even trying to tell? All I could understand is that you are trying to earn that there would be similar event which happened with FTX and Binance is safe which means some other reputed exchange will go bankrupt? Man why would anyone who know such important new which would save lives people and their future hide it? don't just play around, either share the details if you have any concrete proof else this would be considered as a fud.
1406  Economy / Economics / Re: Growth mindset versus fixed mindset on: November 30, 2023, 01:09:22 PM
I fall in growth mindset category and let me tell you as long as you have such mindset you will find learning out of everything and even if you feel demotivated or fail in something you will take it as experience and attempt the same by correcting your mistake.

But the most important thing is the even which trigger a fixed mindset to change as Growth mind set and voice versa. Sometimes a growth mindset has a set back so hard that they almost lose everything and pushed into the category of fixed mindset where they don't experiment or try new things.

I would say Growth will never let you down and if it does it will help you to rise again.
1407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How high will your altcoin go? check it out with this tool on: November 30, 2023, 12:25:32 PM
This is interesting as it predicts the price on market cap and supply, though the predictions might not be accurate or even true but it will atleast help people to stay out of shit coins and their unrealistic promises. This along with a proper research will help us in choosing altcoins to invest. I am not saying this will surely help but atleast it will keep us away from scam projects because it would obviously show not so great prediction based on market cap for shit coins.
1408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it still risky to Invest into Altcoin now? on: November 30, 2023, 07:14:15 AM
All financial investment has their own risk whether we are investing in the Crypto market or other financial markets.
Whether we are Bitcoin investors or altcoins investors, there are different level of risks that we need to take to become profitable.
We can make huge profits from the market if we know how to identify good altcoins and invest in them. There are crypto projects that can give us like 100x to 1000x depending on how liquidity and strong the team are.

Yes indeed, there are risk factors involved with all the financial investments but what I tried to define here is that Altcoin contains more risk than Bitcoin and it's pretty obvious that it has capability to give much higher return but we shouldn't sideline the fact that only few Altcoins can be successful and give profit as rest would fail like they did in the past. Everyone will have different opinions and majority of us don't want to risk everything and we are okay with gradual profits but a guaranteed one instead of quick profit with risk potential of losing it all.
1409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USTC drama on: November 30, 2023, 06:46:21 AM
(...)I want to conclude by saying that whenever a coin goes bankrupt and makes a comeback, it does have rally at certain stage but there would be more losers than winners hence I feel this risk doesn't worth it a it may go to zero anytime again. Now people may think I got good profit still whinning, no I know how much stressed out and it doesn't worth t.
Actually, I don't like the fomo of a failed crypto, although I don't deny that it is possible to profit from it, but looking at the way it has moved in the past it is just a simple pump/dump from the whales that still own it.

And when using leverage in futures, I think the risk is many times greater. Yep, I can see someone sharing their profits through this fomo to continue the hype wave that pervades every media outlet. And it seems that the way people seem to forget the mistakes they make is unforgivable. For now, let's continue to watch how long this movie will last.

I know it's FOMO and eventually it will end up as zero and as i mentioned it's high risks and it's whales who are pumping and dumping it to their benefit. I stopped the trading and cashout out after a near experience of going to zero. Sorry If I am mistaken as I didn't mean to encourage anyone to trade USTC because it's a shit coin and can never ever to trusted again
1410  Economy / Economics / Re: Inventing a job is better than finding a job on: November 29, 2023, 08:17:25 PM
Rather a challenging task, one must start something on own which involve risk and financial backup as well. Unfortunately those unemployed people don't have funds to do something on their own and thus looking for a job which will eventually bound them into corporate slavery post which even if they wish they wouldn't be able to quit the job because of responsibilities they have at that time.

I have seen people eating two times a day saving some money from doing odd job and simultaneously working full time and doing part time businesses but down the line they are more successful than those who posted for corporate jobs as those opted for job are now struck at a position and it's difficult to grow beyond that but that's not the case with the ones who creates job for themselves and others.
1411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happen if Bitcoin shutdown? on: November 29, 2023, 06:57:48 PM
Though this question has been asked in the forum multiple times but I don't wanna sound rude and wants to answer upto the point as follows:

1. Government can only ban or shutdown something which they control
2. Bitcoin is not controlled by government hence they cannot do anything to it.
3. Government can never shutdown Bitcoin because if it had capability to do it then they would have shutdown Bitcoin long time ago.
4. In worst case scenario of Bitcoin shutdown then yes Altcoins will become worthless atleast for a while post which there are chances of new beginning with new concept.

Since government cannot shutdown Bitcoin they had even doing smear campaigns and targeting exchanges to discourage people from using it.
1412  Other / Archival / Re: Wearing Bitcoin Clothing in Public on: November 29, 2023, 05:19:30 PM
You just pulled out a daring stunt whole appreciating what you did I would request you not to do this ever as it would just land you into trouble.  As you might be targeted by scammers or even if some authorities notice you might be in their radar especially if you live in a nation which is hostile towards Bitcoin ans crypto.

I understand that you tried creating awareness about Bitcoin but things don't work this way. I personally would never attempt something like that as we would end up bringing unnecessary attention towards us and ot will deprive us of privacy.
1413  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Only Sell what you don't need. on: November 29, 2023, 03:48:23 PM
Those are extremely decisions but unfortunately some people who have sold their properties or land to invest into Bitcoin in the past were the ones without any alternative as they just put their last dime on into it. Not only specific to crypto but it's a common sense that one shouldn't bet their basic necessities for anything and it has to be a calculated risk every rather blunders like investing everything and getting into debt. I have know some fools taking bank loans and investing into Bitcoin assuming they would get the capital back before they pay their first EMI but things turned ugly. FOMO is the reason why people end up being vulnerable like this.
1414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The story never ends, Tech or Ponzi in the cryptocurrency market? on: November 29, 2023, 12:54:40 PM
Nowadays it's bit difficult to differentiate between scam and the coins with good potential and apart from going through the whitepaper I always check for the returns which they promise and gone are those days when only newbie used to get trapped in their scams now we have seen people who are in crypto domain for a while falling for these traps due to unique methodologies used by these scammers.

But I would not go with the trend as per my personal experience because once anythings starts trending be it NFT, Layer2 or meme coin because scammer knows people will blindly follow the trend and it's the easiest way to scam.

As you said the best way is to do your own research and analysis take opinions but don't blindly go with other's opinions and blame them later. It should be our research and analysis with overall reviews and opinion playing minor role
1415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Community Stablecoin - Idea on: November 29, 2023, 10:05:00 AM
Stable coin and decentralized cryptos cannot hold together because you don't have anything that's stable in crypto and moreover Bitcoin which we consider as stable compared to other coins is not really stable when it comes to mainstream finance and things don't work especially for stable coin the way you mentioned.

Stablecoin means it should replicate the value of USD or Fiat in general but you cannot have the same consistency in ETH or any other crypto's price. What if you have sent 1 ETH to blockchain to receive 1000 Xusd but at the time of transaction the value of ETH fluctuates? Who will take the loss or profit? We cannot define stablecoin and back it up with any crypto assets.
1416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Terra Luna Questions on: November 29, 2023, 08:21:49 AM
Take my sincere suggestion and stay away from these Terra related coins it will just kill your piece of mind and push you to anxiety if you are not actively monitoring and trading because it's been three days I have entered into it for some quick profits and indeed I have got good returns but being a tenured trader I find it difficult to control emotions and the price fluctuations are really difficult to manage, it's a clear manipulation by the whales to end up dumping everything in the market with big shorting. If you want you may try one time trade for some quick profit but at per high risk potential. Don't indulge into it.
1417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USTC drama on: November 28, 2023, 08:27:00 PM
Now people may think I got good profit still whinning, no I know how much stressed out and it doesn't worth t.

I know that feel in leverage trading specially when you take risky trades. Although, I still think if you got 8x, it's worth it, at least the outcome was positive.

Risky leverage like 20x can be bad even on safe coins.

Yes, usually 5x is the max leverage which we can take as a professional trader even on safe coins and took a calculated risk and it paid off, repeated the same stuff today on long with 10x and the outcome was positive once again but as you said these are very risky trades and USTC and this whole LUNA coin family can just go to zero like they did in the past and I am getting out of it with one final trade which I have shorted from 0.0429 but unfortunately the market is upwards just waiting to meet break even or some small profit before getting out of this.
1418  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why Binance exchange delisting the crytop currencies and the sport trade pairs on: November 28, 2023, 07:40:07 PM
Binance usually keeps delisting those coins and pair which don't meet certain criteria, I have seen Binance delisting coins when they are heavily manipulated like it did with a coin named Nebilo where the price of coin were heavily manipulated as Binance cannot afford to lose out on its reputation by having projects listed in it's exchange which are very volatile and it's prices being controlled hence they removed Nebilo and I guess same logic applies to some of these coins .
1419  Economy / Economics / Re: Black Friday deals and your plan to hold bitcoins. on: November 28, 2023, 06:40:23 PM
Nah this time people are not gonna liquidate thier Bitcoin portfolio to purchase stuffs at Black Friday deals and yes these deals like Black Friday deals, all the other deal provided during certain occasions are to increase the consumers purchasing power regardless they need it or not a d whether they buy it through their savings or over credit and get themselves into debt. I work for an e-commerce giant and I can tell you that we plan sales and marketing strategy 6 months in advance and there are lot of logics and brains behind every single sale and offers you see during these time.

But, this year we are at the verge of bull run and possible pump due to halving is also approaching as there are lot of noise on same hence people might not use Bitcoin to buy stuffs which they don't need rather they may use their credit cards.
1420  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should trading be for the rich? on: November 28, 2023, 05:32:25 PM
Trading is not for all not even for richest if they lack the trading skills and knowledge which is not everybody's cup of tea. As people have suggested above one cannot start trading without any funds hence they have to accumulate funds via traditional jobs and then use it for trading, obviously starting with demo account and unlocking their potential and learning curve. Nowadays there are more people with money who don't know trading than those who knows trading ambur don't have funds.
