1401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: January 14, 2016, 06:21:46 PM
This can't happen. Don't be fooled about the hype.
Bitcoin can do a lot of things, increase people's freedom in terms of money control, reduce costs while making transfers.

But no it can't make banks useless.
1402  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: January 14, 2016, 06:12:16 PM
I think 2016 bitcoin is difficult to drop to 400$
Devaluation of the currency, the stock market fell, appeared in China 2016,
People will pay attention to bitcoin, at least there will be some people

That's makes no sense.
You used some terms to made it logical but in fact's it's not logic at all. Here let me help you.

It don't expect bitcoin to drop <-- i do believe this too btw.
On on hand this is because the financial markets are collapsing or on the verge of collapsing, for a various kind of reasons;
Devaluation of China's currency which was motivated by their economy not growing as good as expected.

On the other hand here is off course a hope that more people will learn about bitcoin and pay attention to bitcoin.

This part "at least there will be some people" sounds  like you believe the world will go down soon and eventually some people will exist.

No thanks!
1403  Economy / Exchanges / Re: I know who has your coins at Crytpsy... (Update) on: January 14, 2016, 06:01:34 PM
Honestly I'm sick of this company and also sick of people who keep using it and then cry , I mean there is two zillion (literally) topic about it on scam accusations and different newspaper related ot bitcoin etc ... but do people stop using it ? Hell no ! they like to get scammed .
So for what comes to me , I have to say that those who keep using their website probably deserve it and like Satoshi said once  Roll Eyes :

Lost coins only make everyone else’s coins worth slightly more. Think of it as a donation to everyone.

they aren't lost coins... they're stolen so still in circulation, just in someone else's hands

Not only that, cryptsy was a large exchange, it's not some minor exchange who commits a little theft, looking at all the altcoins, we are talking about a lot of money.
A lot...
1404  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: January 12, 2016, 05:23:12 PM
More information is the key to succes.
Please should be come aware and thus should we create awareness.
From there businesses will feel the ruge to join, because they are miss out.
1405  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: January 12, 2016, 05:19:44 PM
New difficulty in 16 hours.

Last 504 blocks 0.890 Exahash/s, at the last diff adjustment 0.743

Current estimate +8.92%

Damn, that's a lot man. When the pump started and the price increased, the difficulty increased disproportional.
It is almost like it was planned... by the (...Whales, Bitmain, who else?)

1406  Economy / Speculation / Re: What month of 2016 will btc reach new ATH? on: January 12, 2016, 05:16:37 PM
I am not sure if it will happen, but if it will happen, it must be around july/august.

The impact of the halving could result in a mega boost or nothing at all will happen, like the prevous halving.
1407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: January 12, 2016, 05:08:33 PM
I think it's because they either heard something negative about bitcoin
or they find it hard to understand how bitcoin works and they would rather stick with whatever they are used to.

Yeah negative news but also fear. Since it's new and they don't understand it.
It's logical too. If you are an outside and think of machines making money you will laugh about it
1408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best buy right now is not Bitcoin, it is ALTCOINS on: January 12, 2016, 05:05:26 PM
I trade in altcoins and yes it can be good, since there are good times.
But there are also bad times. And these days those scam devs are getting better and better.

It's hard to say whom is true and honest and whom is a scammer.
1409  Economy / Exchanges / Re: The Exchange cryptsy dies? on: January 12, 2016, 05:02:10 PM
So this is really the end? I have been reading about cryptsy dying for months I think, but whenever I entered the site it seemed to work. It is true that some coins were overpiced, though.

Fortunately (it seems) I have nothing in cryptsy right now.

It's the end..
No office
No withdrawals
No news/updates
No support.

All the signals are there, vern wanted to get out and decided to get out like a thief.
1410  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: January 12, 2016, 04:58:41 PM
Get as much as you can. That would be my advice. You never know what bitcoin will be worth in 20 years or so.
So it's best to get as much as you can get and just hold for now, don't spend it until you're going to retire.

I agree with this.
More bitcoin is a bigger chance to win big. And yea also a bigger chance to lose big.
Believing in bitcoin and it's potential makes me think the first thing will happen.
1411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: January 12, 2016, 04:54:34 PM
Gamblers like the kick. A kick to win everything in 1 moment.
They play for it. and keep playing for it, till it happen. Most of the time they forget that all the time they are playing, they are losing loads of money, which makes the house very happy.
1412  Economy / Exchanges / Re: is Cryptsy about to fold over??? on: January 12, 2016, 04:51:23 PM
Can someone who left cryptsy tell me which coins are safe to withdraw.
I bought Dash and then my withdrawal is pending.
I bought litecoin and... yes my withdrawal is pending..
XPM worked for me yesterday. Coins that are still withdrawable have a big premium compared to other exchanges.

This is exactly what Cryptsy wants. They control those 'premiums'. Sure some holders can sell very high but then what.. They have bitcoin which they can't withdraw.
Honestly this is all a big setup by cryptsy getting every last dime out of their customers.

Shamefull
1413  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: January 12, 2016, 04:45:22 PM
I save money by always paying my bills on time.
This way I never have to think about paying extra fees etc.
Not taking loans, so I don't have to pay interest is also a good way to safe money.

It can be profitable to pay your bills on time. No fines, no interest etc.
But to make some real profit for your savings, try to shop in stores who offer wholesales prices.

Every country must have a shop where you can shop against wholesale prices, being a ordinary consumer.
1414  Economy / Gambling / Re: Domain name for poker site on: January 12, 2016, 04:40:56 PM
I think luckycardz is the best name than the other domain names.. But i also like the bulletspoker
Which is the name in the last is poker just choose in that 2 the others are not good domain names...

Lucky cardz has a nice ring to it. I like the other names not a lot so this one is easy for me.
Go with Lucky, it's what every gamblers wants to be when they are online in your poker site.
1415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: January 12, 2016, 04:38:20 PM
The power of bitcoin is big, but not big. I think in the end banks will develop their own bitcoin and force it onto their customers.
Problem is they must make it way cheaper else people will still go with bitcoin.
1416  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2016 will be a boring year for bitcoin on: January 12, 2016, 04:35:52 PM
I think 2016 will be a fun year we will see a lot of things about bitcoin that it can grow and more adoptions with it.
After all this year is the halving so a lot of people will be excited to happen that. So you are wrong it won't be boring.

The halving are determined important times for bitcoin, it happens not a lot so yes offcourse it won't be a boring  year. You have to be some kind of lunatic to state that a halving year s a boring year. So yeah with the halving in mind I predict some excitement starting june.
1417  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best exchanger? on: January 12, 2016, 04:29:03 PM
The best exchange offcourse is kraken. No 2 Poloniex.
Those exchanges are solid and care about their customers. Good support and good fees.

Withdrawal fee is a little bit high with kraken, but overall they have a solid exchange.
Advanced orders like stop-loss are not problem.
1418  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Never trust an online wallet, for those who don't know on: January 09, 2016, 06:54:17 PM
I use my online wallet just or my backup if something bad happen.

I do agree that we should not put our money in online wallet. It was too risky, too many accident happen back then.

My main reason is i can't completely control my money if i don't have the keys.
Even if you have the keys someone else can control your money if he has too because of any malware or infected apps, there is always a risk.

Correct, so it's best to store your coins offline and encrypt your wallet.
I for one make sure to store my key on 2 locations
1 cointains half of the key and on other location i got the other half.
1419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: January 09, 2016, 06:15:36 PM
there's nothing wrong in gambling, its a form of entertainment.
for as long as your dont gamble your lunch money, gamble is just fine the same as alcohol drinking and smoking. Smiley

I tend to agree with this.
Don't use big cash but use small cash to make bets and don't bet for profit but only make bets and gamble if you need it as an entertainment form.

The moment profits is important, you're doomed to become addicted.
1420  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: January 09, 2016, 06:08:00 PM
hard work, that's the key, though in your head already there are many ways to earn money, but without the hard work that all will be in vain, so work with your greatest ability

This is the only way. Hard work.
But you can achieve this too by being creative. Try to invent a new kind of product/ service which makes people's life easier.

Set goals
Then work hard to achieve this goals.
