1402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: its Already 10 Days - No BTG Wallet till Now on: November 04, 2017, 06:50:26 PM
I didn't know but I think 1 November is only date for snapshot , and the distribution we don't know when , we've been trolled by btg dev  Grin

The situation is obscure. A professional team should give an exact date for every step and give clear information if a delay will happen.
Until now, people is still asking how to claim their goldish scammy-like coins (if things will remain the same)
1403  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's profit on: November 04, 2017, 06:44:07 PM
I heard people said that Bitcoin's profit is higher than profit of drug dealer, weapon dealers or profit of real property or any kind of stocks. Is that real ?

No, it is not! These dirty criminal jobs are way "profitable" in term of money (and jail time).
But the best profitable job is by far politicians. They talk too much, do nothing and rub everyone money!
1404  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin come back at $ 3000? on: November 04, 2017, 04:32:54 PM
Does anyone think that at some point a bitcoin will return to $ 3000?

I think you need to fix your sentence like this :
Does anyone think that at some point a bitcoin will rise to $ 30000?

The Bitcoin Cash could be a good candidate as it has larger block size and lower fee.

Yeah, I agree that Bitcoin cash could have a possible potential in the future if it gets more users.
Personally, I think ethereum could make a good move.

1408  Other / Meta / Re: Activity & new membergroup limits on: November 03, 2017, 08:04:52 PM
I am a newbie, like you can see, and this is my first day "working" here. I already have 14 activity, but i saw it's written that is useless to have more than 1 activity per day. Did i made a mistake? Please help me.

No, you didn't make any mistake. You can post as much as you want. But keep in mind that non constructive posts aren't appreciated.

And tell me, i have 18 posts at the moment, but only 14 activity... That means i won't get anymore activity points this week?
But in next week, i will get 4 activity? Because of number of posts...

You cannot get more than 14 activities in 2 weeks. So yes you will not get any other activity until the next period (which will start next Tuesday). You can check when the next activities periods will start here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12saLhlUoqIdairxzuSPu6EYGrt7FN2lOstO1yDjCEbA/htmlview?pli=1

1410  Other / Meta / Re: Activity & new membergroup limits on: November 03, 2017, 03:17:09 PM
Does this mean that the activity depends of the number of posts?
No, the activity increases with the number of posts but it is capped to 14 activities every 14 days.
So even if you make more than 14 posts per period your activity will not increases more than 14 per 14 days.

I, as a newbie, currently have 6 posts, but only 2 activities.
Some explanation.
You need to wait a little bit to see the activity changing.

1412  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Genesis Mining on: November 02, 2017, 06:37:52 PM
Is genesis mining legit or is it a total scam?
If genesis is legit is it even profitable?

Thanks

Cloud mining should be treated case by case but most of them are a pure scam.
For Genesis Mining until now it seems that it is legit, operating for years, paying users...etc and I remember that I saw their rigs in a post here.
The only problem is : is it profitable?
You should make your own calcul taking in consideration the maintenance fees and the difficulty. If the ROI will take much time then try to find another investment method.
1413  Economy / Speculation / Re: is it possible bitcoin's price going to 10000$ at the end of 2017? on: November 02, 2017, 06:10:27 PM
bitcoin's price are rising rocket at present and do you guys think the price will be 10000$ ?

i am very confident with this . but i want to know other people's view

I wouldn't say that Bitcoin price could reach $10k at the end of the year before few months, but now I think that it is a high probability.
I expect a correction to happens any time soon and we could see +$6200-6300 again but a new rise will happens for sure.
Finally we all know what will happens always in the last ten days of the year  Wink

1417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to increase the amount of bitcoins? on: November 01, 2017, 05:46:44 PM
-snip-
The question I have is: Is it theoretically possible to increase the supply of Bitcoins that could be mined using a soft-fork? I know with the up-coming 2X hard fork you would have double your bitcoins (Bitcoin and B2X).
-snip-

No need to increase the maximum amount of bitcoin that could be mined since the BTC is in fact unlimited by definition!
Let's see : 1 BTC = 100,000,000 Satoshi   for example, you can count how much satoshi we have (change satoshi with bits...etc).
We can even make a new subunit of satoshi and so on.  Wink

Is actvity time dependent (time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration)?

No, it is not related to the time you joined the forums.
The period duration is +/- well defined for everyone, take a look here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12saLhlUoqIdairxzuSPu6EYGrt7FN2lOstO1yDjCEbA/htmlview?pli=1

Thanks

Please verify your signature message before posting it again , i couldn't verify it with brainwalletx.github.io nor tools.bitcoin.com/verify-message nor with coinig.com

Would it be okay to stake your account with other address? I want to change one that i did already because i think i have compromised it, someone uploaded fake wallet and i tried to claim BTG from it - would that be okay? Or do i need to sign up with 1st address, and then with 2nd to be approved?

I recommend to post a signed message with your previous address then stick a signed message with the new one.
If you cannot access your previous Bitcoin address then stick it with the new one since you just sticked it yesterday.
