if we are talking about the possibility,everything can be happen even if we're talking about $20.000,
because it has a potential and of course the topic was 'possibility',
based on our current market,right now we're correcting due to pump a day ago,
if the run continue we should see it around $7500 in a few days later on(more or less obviously).
but who knows ? because everything can be happen with it,
at least for now we should see another all new highs due to segwit2x that will happen in a few days later on.
just make sure to not let your emotion take a control when that 'time' comes,

I've counted more than 5 threads a day with the same question, seems like a lot of people are eager to see BTC @ 10000$. There are minor factors that could potentially help achieve the 10k price target. But honestly, i don't think is gonna happen, a correction/pullback is inmenet so the price could possible go down by quite a lot in the next couple of weeks. |

yes it will become in that price since the bitcoin breach the barrier and we all hoping that before the years end or next year bitcoin will be inthat price so 2018 will be the happiest year of all and it will continue the history of this digital currency i never doubt about the pricing of bitcoin because its all deserve everyone to know what is the real future of this coin. |

I was thinking about this too. We saw a pretty interesting drop right after the BTG stuff going down. It seems like the next bitcoin fork could be a part of the reason why the price could be going up right now. People might be hearing about a second fork and may also be trying to hop on ASAP in order to get as much cash as they can. The amazon support is definitely playing a part too. I'm just a bit skeptical about how long this gain can stay for. |

Consider that $10k is about 43% from the current price, while current volatility of BTCUSD is ~70%. So it would be within one standard deviation of the BTCUSD returns - yes, it is possible.

$10k is easily achievable by January next year according to many experts. There are series of positive news coming related to Bitcoin which has once again brought bitcoin in limelight globally after September FUD and this rally is killing the alts. There is a huge shift of volume from altcoins to Bitcoin and if this trend continues along with bringing more investors from outside, Bitcoin will soon touch $10k without any doubt.

I wouldn't say that Bitcoin price could reach $10k at the end of the year before few months, but now I think that it is a high probability. I expect a correction to happens any time soon and we could see +$6200-6300 again but a new rise will happens for sure. Finally we all know what will happens always in the last ten days of the year  |

Doubtful. Big mental barrier to break to achieve 10k. I would expect nothing in excess of 8500-9000 by year end.

Well, btc is truly rising in price rather fast, but the recent increase in price is explained by the bitcoin gold fork rush. People bought btc to seek for free btg. I don't know whether bitcoin segwit 2x will come soon and whether people will really go for it, as bitcoin gold wasn't a very successful thing. I remember people complaining about not getting official airdrop. Thus I guess btc won't be able to reach such a high mark soon. We have to be glad that it is $6+ already. |

A week ago I would never believe that bitcoin reaches the price of $ 10,000 at the end of this year. But over the last few days bitcoin managed easily $ 2000. This is a giant leap. Before the end of this year, a lot of time and there is every chance to get a gift for the new year. Now everyone is inspired by such successes, and will keep the coins. This will further heat up the market.

The price of bitcoin today surpass the $7000 mark this is really amazing it really shows that bitcoin is highly recommended as a good investment that will give so much return but even we experience this pump I don't think bitcoin can possibly hit $10000 as early as this December 2017 if ever it will happen I think maybe by next year, in the middle of 2018 to be precise because a $3000 additional increase is quite possible to achieve in less than 2 months. Anyway bitcoin is unpredictable so let's all see what's gonna happen next.

It is very hard to predict accurately the price of bitcoins especially with the recent news of having forks by this month but I strongly believe that it is capable of reaching that mark by next year. There are a lot of things that you need to consider when predicting its price but if one is basing it on the price history chart, then it definitely has the potential. Also, one can infer that its price has been constantly increasing through the years of its existence. It may even reach higher prices by next year but you also need to bear in mind that there is always the risk of it decreasing too. Invest your bitcoins for this year and expect your profits to increase by next year. |

this made me chuckle  not because of the question that is asked but because of the answer that came to my mind and what it reminded me of. I remember clearly that last year and even start of this year when the question was asked about how much price is going to be by the end of 2017 I would have said $2000 or $2500 tops best case scenario but bitcoin being bitcoin means it is unpredictable and when the adoption hits and bitcoin receives this much media attention there is no stopping the price rise. so I say it is perfectly possible to reach $10,000 by the end of this year. and that would just be a start! |

Everyone is getting excited everyday as the price is starting to make itself buff. People are starting to be divided with three bitcoins on what to support. I have read an open letter that many are into Segwit2x but still many are into Legacy bitcoin and also the another contender which is Bitcoin cash. But let's just hope that this fork will not give any dump. |

No, it's will not happen on this end of year but the chance are greater on 2018 !
As we can see , bitcoin is on uptrend and it's reach stagnan point at the moment. They need some momentum if they want to see bitcoin value getting pump once again.
Just keep hold your bitcoin at least until December 2017 for more profit !
