1401  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of Bitcoin Economics on: December 05, 2016, 01:49:52 PM
Future of Bitcoin Economics depends on mass adoption of Bitcoin. No body can predict accurately the true future of Bitcoin.

Just as important, IMO, is "merchant acceptance" of Bitcoin.  BTC truly needs more goods & services providers who will take BTC as payment.  Some already do, but not nearly enough.

If Bitcoin price keeps going up, that will attract attention of BTC buyers, and with luck more merchants will then opt to accept it.
I think bitcoin future like 5-10 years later is predictable, even it depends on users and merchants (how to spend it daily) to grow up adoption of btc. Yeah, these time seems quite long for us and there should be more adoption of bitcoin and increasing price as we already seeing. Technology and economic always develop every day and human ask for easier way for transaction (worldwide), bitcoin come as the answer.
1402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you play Dice with Autobet? on: December 05, 2016, 08:37:24 AM
Do you play dice manually, using autobet or third party bot?
If you play using built in autobet what features options you consider most important?

I don't use autobet or third party bot, well I've tried to use autobet but end up with losses.
Third party bot looks like worth to try but it need some settings and strategy or you can't get profits.
I thought need more experiences to get my own bot strategy, so for now I prefer to manual bet which I could avoid lose in many streaks.
1403  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we start new year in $800+ or remain in $700+ on: December 05, 2016, 07:48:37 AM
with the new change in price moving up to 760-770 USD i think $800 price by the end of this month is easily possible now.

what do you think is needed for this rise to happen or ensure it?
We are going to start a new year with high price of bitcoin it would be in the range of $850 or maybe more i can see the real future of bitcoin even in india, India is buying bitcoins pus 15% of price it will continue to rise i can assure that.
Yes, India market is leading bitcoin prices with their own reasons. But I could not see big impacts on world wide other markets due to this other than arbitrage trading. Maybe Indians come out to buy from other exchanges so that we may be general price surge across all markets. I am too sure we may see $800+ price levels by this new year.

i don't think Indian market  is that big to be able to have this king of impact on the bitcoin price though. besides their market is kind of secluded and separated from the rest of the world or at least that is my understanding .
As it stands, the Indian market is nothing more than peanuts. But that doesn't mean it will always stay like this.

India is a huge country where there is a tremendous amount of growth that Bitcoin can experience if authorities don't jump in to ruin things for people.

What is being seen as a not important market right now, can turn into one of the main countries at some point in the future. 1.2 billion citizens isn't something you can easily ignore.
We know that bitcoin price affected by supply and demand which mean global trading volume. India bitcoin market just started to rise and many people learn about it, like you said India is country with large populations and it just time matter until bitcoin become so famous there due to recent financial problem. I think we should reach $800 by the end of the year.
1404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India Bans Its Largest Fiat Currency Notes on: December 05, 2016, 03:06:37 AM
Hello There,

India bans top currency notes such as Rs.500/- and Rs.1,000/- to prevent black money. Now there are only three notes in circulation Rs.10, Rs.20 and Rs.50

http://www.thehindu.com/news/national/live-narendra-modis-address-to-nation/article9320548.ece

Google for more news links.

Yes, There are some preventive measures taken to deal with the situation but still it is one of the masterstrokes by India prime minister Narendra Modi against black money.

How do you see this action and what kind of impact this will create on the bitcoin in India?

P-S : Adding some news headline since this move, worth reading Smiley

Interesting news about India and increasing demand for bitcoin since government bans Rs.500 and Rs.1000.
We know that fiat money has some disadvantages which could covered by bitcoin such as
Sandeep Goenka stated: “With credit cards, you have to pay VISA/Mastercard 2-3 percent on every transaction and you get the money after a few days, and sometimes in case of a chargeback, you don't. None of these problems exist in Bitcoins.”
But, what I concern is higher price to buy bitcoin there. It seems unfair if we could buy BTC1 / $750 outside the country but in India exchanges sell it about $100-200 higher than market price.
One bitcoin on the Indian exchange Unocoin is worth 55,405 rupees, or $817.97, at the time of writing. Dollar-denominated bitcoin currently costs around $709. and this>>>
Toward the end of November, the premium was soaring further, as the price to buy bitcoin reached $985 while Indian bitcoin exchanges continue to push for adoption.
I don't know for sure is it good or not for people there, but this mean increases adoption and higher price of bitcoin.
1405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How long do you play per day gambling like Dice ? on: December 04, 2016, 12:19:06 PM
I play every day about half an hour dice games.
Mostly with succes.

I prepared a bot with my own strategy.   I run it continuously. it gives me around 5MB per day with 2mb initial balance.   it is enough for me.

I never doubt there are some people who actually have their own strategies to win dice game.
I've played dice like an instant bet within 30 minutes and lost all of my capital, looks like I need more experiences.
It would be so nice if you could share your strategy to win in dice game.
1406  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why you should Buy bitcoin now on: December 04, 2016, 08:12:11 AM
So much so that 15% of banks world wide expect to widely implement blockchain, which is a ledger of transactions updated in real time by various institutions, by next year, according to the report which surveyed 200 global banks.

These banks, mostly medium to large-sized institutions, are focusing their blockchain technology on three areas: consumer lending, retail payments, and reference data, which refers to the real-time information sharing of transactions across business divisions and institutions.

In four years, IBM says that 66% percent of banks expect to have blockchain in commercial production and at scale.

i think this has been said thousands of times and i say it again: using blockchain doesn't mean using bitcoin so it has no effect on bitcoin and its price since all these institutes are doing is creating an altcoin and we already see 100s of altcoins each year if they each had an effect on bitcoin price, then price would have been 1 mil dollar today!
Buy bitcoin >> yes.

Go all in >> no.

There are many valid reasons for us to buy bitcoins but none of them are valid enough to make us go all in. Just diversify your savings in different investments and you will be fine. Never invest more than you can afford to lose. That goes for every investment you're making.

Agree, the safest way is divide your wealth into several investment and not depend on just one thing and hope you're doing well.
Banks would adopt blockchain technology for sure but they have different purposes and different currency, but at least we could expect that they should consider to accept bitcoin too, so users are easier buy/sell their coins.
1407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: December 04, 2016, 06:15:29 AM
I think the biggest disadvantage Bitcoin have is that it is used for too many illegal activities. The are no laws or regulations which protect bitcoim users from criminal, they have to defend themselves against criminals. And because of no government protection, many bad people use Bitcoin to build a ponzi scheme investing project in order to steal investors's money

That's actually a good thing. If you don't protect yourself, people would take advantage of you. You have to adopt the environment. Otherwise, you'll get scammed every time you try to have a transaction with someone. This way, we have to educate ourselves which is a really good thing imo. It makes you have the instinct of not trusting someone too much in the bitcoin world and in real life as well. It makes you smarter when having transactions.
You're right, we should know how to defend our wealth against scam and thieves.
I think for now the biggest problem is block size that doesn't allow miners process so many transaction faster which lead to higher fees if you want faster confirmation. This problem could make bitcoin look unattractive to new users with high fees and may stop or reverse global adoption, investment, development, and support.
1408  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the basis of fluctuations of Bitcoin? on: December 04, 2016, 04:12:23 AM
I can't really understand why Bitcoin fluctates fast, even it will goes up or down. Is it because there are too many miners nowadays? or the supply and demand of services through Bitcoins. The only thing that I understand is it has a really great value compare to Fiat money.
Bitcoin affected by supply and demand which always happens in trading and exchanges and everyone who have bitcoin including miners have a role in bitcoin fluctuations. If there are some big whales or so much people in a day buy bitcoin, the price should be rise and vice versa.
1409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you bet on "Sports" games that you don't know? on: December 04, 2016, 04:01:16 AM
I was wondering if you make bets on sports that you have no experience in?

lets say you have never watched boxing, or soccer even, would you still consider betting on these matches?
how will you do it then? random or will you use a tipster service?

I was thinking about getting into sports betting but the games are countless and i don't know which one to choose and i don't know anything about majority of sports.
If I don't know about the game and players/team that will compete, how could I bet on them except there is an experienced tipster about it, but at least I should know about them (players) before decide which team have best chance to win the game. Then we have to going through some research and analyze their track record.
1410  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: December 03, 2016, 05:39:15 PM
The crypto world can become unpredictable sometimes, making our choices of investing into it, a very limited one. From scams to ponzis, there have been many losses from investors, yet making it very difficult to find a reliable investment.

But on the bright side, you could still invest into assets and commodities with your crypto like Gold and Silver. Then, if done right you could profit along the way with a good strategy.

As for me, I only decide to invest into gold (by exchanging BTC to Gold) and into some NXT and BURST assets.

What would be your investment strategy? Please share your tips, advice, or any good strategy you would use to safeguard your crypto investments.  Smiley
Well, for now I just saving my bitcoin and planned to buy gold too. I think a lot to learn about investment and stocks.
When I have enough capital and then start my own business and should accept bitcoin payment so more people know and familiar with it.
1411  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: December 03, 2016, 03:51:28 PM
Yes really bitcoin has strong future and has good potential that every one make good money in future, Investment into bitcoin is a very good idea because daily bitcoin lovers are increasing because the value of bitcoin is keep increasing, many new investors are investing into bitcoin for future returns.

1412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does bitcoin help your life in daily needs? on: December 03, 2016, 05:15:31 AM
Hey! Friends Good day i have some question in mind i would like to ask you about "how can bitcoin help you with your daily life" and "how will you earn in a week or month" and "how can will you spend bitcoin" because i have a bitcoin in my bitcoin wallet then i am very confused because i don't know how to use the bitcoin so i saved up bitcoin until i'm richer so i can pay someone who will teach me to do stuff with bitcoin in my wallet and i would like to know how you can spend bitcoin in need of furniture and foods. Please Cheesy
Of course bitcoin could help us, just simply convert your bitcoin into fiat or buy goods/stuffs through online platform, moreover there are plenty of sites offered their services that you could pay them using bitcoin. For me, not really for now, I prefer to saving my bitcoin instead of convert it, such as investment for my future needs.
1413  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the Bitcoin price ever drop back down to $500? on: December 03, 2016, 05:00:53 AM
Do any of you that follow the price of Bitcoin closely think that the price will ever drop back down to $500 or something close to it? And why or why not?

short answer: NO.

anything is possible with bitcoin price. if nothing drastic changes with bitcoin which means if we continue on the adoption this way price will continue to go up.

but we can never predict incidents like bitfinex hack or something similar. and these things can change the price a lot but temporary
I think so, the price and adoption are increases quite good for now even if there are some bad news about regulations or ban news, bitcoin price wouldn't drop back to $500. Security issues is the one thing that could bring it down to $500 if happen again like the last time when hacked occurred.
1414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction. on: December 03, 2016, 04:42:22 AM
a person can become addicted to gambling in my opinion because he had experienced a victory quite a lot of gambling until he returned gamble tomorrow to make a profit as it does today
Well this is how one starts down the road into gambling and once they go down that path it is very difficult to come back from that if gone to far.
This is what I believe anyways. Undecided
Yeah, winnings could be the reason why people come back to gambling again and again, but it's rarely happening for new comers.
Another reason might because people enjoyed play the game or bet which felt of adrenaline rush waiting for the results even if they loss and try next time.
1415  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: December 03, 2016, 03:56:42 AM
What if somebody will make a huge dump and sell it all the way to earn some profits because of this rally in bitcoin, and someone sees it and do that same thing. Is there any effect on bitcoin when someone to this,?

you are describing panic selling yourself!

when such thing happens usually weak hands (newbies) start selling as soon as they see price going down then it starts a chain of events which leads to more sells.

but the effect depends on the cause of the panic sell and it is usually small and at worst case scenario it is only $50 reduction of price.

It's so pathetic to panic selling while bitcoin is strong cryptocurrency even there are some bad news about it.
Bitcoin always recover the price like 200 times when it falls due to many accidents.
The fact is, mostly people buy bitcoin with intended to sell it out when the price reach certain point.
1416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about the idea of a bitcoin shop in big cities? on: December 02, 2016, 05:19:57 PM
Hey Guys,

what would be your opinion if there would been Bitcoin shops in big cities like London, Berlin or Paris (also smaller cities).
So you could go inside the shop and buy or sell Bitcoin for a good price.

I think it would be an good (and an advantage) idea because more people would use Bitcoin so the price would rise up and the people who are owning Bitcoins at the moment would have more money in Bitcoins. Wink

Best regards,

Patrick Smiley

I have 2 opinions about this statement mate that there are will be a advantage until disadvantage.
First, if you really make shops in the big cities even until can make a super market that adopt and accept bitcoin, that's what the most of the bitcoin's user want. They will be more easy to use their bitcoin in reality without browse in online to seek goods and without should exchang their bitcoin in to fiat before can use that money.
Second, if the price of goods always fluctuating because it priced in bitcoin, how the shops will print the label price of each goods. Is the shops should provide a digital label price for each goods ? 😂 Huh So in my opinion this is must be twice thinking by someone.
I think the idea clear enough, the shops doesn't need to put the price of goods according to bitcoin price instead of following market price (price from producers/manufacturers + shops benefits) some kind like that.
I hope someday I will start my own shops which accept bitcoin payment of course, those business will affect bitcoin price to rise and more stable, include growing adoption.
1417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling crying thread on: December 02, 2016, 05:10:40 PM
im gonna start crying right now Sad
lately i've been playing on a gambling sites and i saw some autobets promoting and i feel like i want to try it and thats where my biggest and worst mistake ive done on gambling i lose 20 streaks on a dice game with a high bet now im crying for my .2 bitcoin i dont know its just happened i never thought that it would make me lose if i left it alone running.
Lmao don't use autobet's when your away from keyboard some of autobets when it running for long run it will automatically bet all your bitcoins once your increase percent when loosing i think you lose straight and your bet based increase it very high that's the reason why all of your bitcoins are lose.
Yeah, I've tried dice and use autobet and then all of my capital gone just in a blink of an eye.
BTC0.2 is quite good amount for spend instead it lost in gambling, you shouldn't never try gambling for the first time without know something important (experiences from others).
1418  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy bitcoin? on: December 02, 2016, 02:46:58 PM
Whatever you do, don't buy bitcoin at the beginning of a year. Because, ya know, it could nearly double at the end of that same year, soundly beating all other investment vehicles on the planet.

Oh, wait...

then it's better to buy at the lowest point which is the beginning by your logic, instead of waitjn nearly the end and the double of value, isn't it?

Yeah, you're right. Bitcoin couldn't possibly double again its current value by the end of next year, now could it?   Roll Eyes

And the "lowest point" now would be what, exactly?  The lowest point was when it was launched, was it not?

(mumbles to self: this board is full of fkn idiots, idiots I tellz ya!)
That's what we seeing right now, the price got rises in the beginning of December and it's seems crazy to me, I mean woow we should see the price hit $800 this month coz the price now at $771. Now, I regret sold some of my btc few days ago.
1419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In what gambling games are you good at? on: December 02, 2016, 02:33:07 PM
Poker is my best game, but it is not I’m really good at it, but the fact you cannot get better at playing dice since it does not matter what you do.
Wow it is good, do you have method play gambling poker? For wins,  is it depend on the lucky or skills in playing cards? Will more great and complete info, if you share about it and your experience when played gambling poker. Thank you.
The poker game fully depends on your skills, if you are a pro in this game, you can make a huge profit. There are some gamblers they will only play Poker game because they want to be thorough in this game. This is the most profitable game in Gambling. Apart for this sports betting is the another method. This is my fav method in gambling.
I don't think people would share their gamble method if you ask. When you play, don't you think there are some settled of the deck? If you know how it set. Well, we don't know what card will you get but poker face and bluffs are the things what fun in the game besides the winning of course. The most interesting gambling for me as he said poker and sports betting.
1420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Bitcoins have Tax?? on: December 02, 2016, 11:32:48 AM
You don't need to pay any tax for the government when dealing with bitcoins as it is not considered real money, only when you convert the bitcoins to real fiat then you may pay taxes.

If you by taxes you meant to fees, then yes,you need to pay a small fee for the miners for each transaction you make.

Bitcoin could consider has tax if you send it (fees) as we know but in several countries which already have regulations about bitcoin, users indirectly pay the taxes if they deal with exchangers, but overall we can't avoid taxes if you do legal transaction in a country.
