14161  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you in the Christmas spirit? on: September 25, 2017, 08:43:40 PM
So this thread is near to be 1 year old already and again holiday season is coming and Christmas is the most awaited season every year. People get more money during holidays so for sure it will make the price of bitcoin pump again and I've seen a couple of times and last year is a good one because the pump started at the very end of year. And hoping that this year it will be also the same and will be pumping quicker.

After the recent downtrend of bitcoin price and it seems not finished yet, maybe around Christmas time this year then we will see again the spike of bitcoin price and many people will join in again for the ride which would make the price shoot up. Many people have extra money during Christmas and end of the year because of bonuses and the likes that's why some use it to buy bitcoin thus an increase in demand.

I hope that what happen from previous years during Christmas time would still be the same this year. Many are positive about it and as long as there will be no bad news that can affect the price then it would be a nice feeling to end the year with a bang.

I'm waiting for that yearly now because there is a big spike that's been happening every Christmas season. And for sure many of the buy backers are also waiting for the right time to see first the price of bitcoin at a very low rate before getting in again. Those past incidents during Christmas are the most awaited month of each year because the price are very reasonable with it's increase and it's suddenly happening.
Christmas is a happy season where we can buy our desire things and treat our family because we already received the bonuses and gifts from our company. This season can give a big effect in the market were there are many people buying bitcoin for their future and can increase the price of bitcoin.

It has the big effect when we are on this season. People are getting their money on their savings and pulling their money on their pockets. And that's why the price every Christmas of bitcoin is starting to increase because most of us are having a lot of big capital because this season is a season where everyone is generous. We are not afraid to spend money when Christmas is about to come.
14162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do I pay taxes when I sell an alt coin for bitcoin? on: September 25, 2017, 08:25:25 PM
Do I need to pay taxes if I sell an alt coin for bitcoin then rebuy a different alt coin. I never took out actual USD so I am unsure how that would work. Or am I only taxes on actual USD made when I cash out?

If your country is putting taxation to crypto currency or there is a regulation about it then you are obliged to pay taxes. And I think this is what's happening the taxation is just happening after we converted our alt coins and sold it to bitcoin > fiat money. That will be the time when we are going to pay taxes when we are going to consume that money in the things that we are going to buy.
14163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about the legalization of bitcoin in Malaysia. on: September 25, 2017, 08:13:52 PM
In this morning, i saw a news on the bitcoin-news's Facebook post regarding on the legalization of bitcoin in Malaysia. The Bank Negara Malaysia which is the central bank of Malaysia is planning to develop a framework (something like guidelines) to regulate the usage of cryptocurrencies to protect the people that involving in cryptocurrencies's sector as Malaysia's bitcoin trader and miner are increasing. So what do you think about it? Is it an interesting development for the future of bitcoin and the usage of bitcoin in Malaysia?
It's a good news, if there is a country that is legalizing bitcoin that's always a good news in the crypto world. Everyone is celebrating to this great news. Though they will regulate the usage of crypto currencies as long as the country will support it there's nothing bad with that. Later on, that regulation will just give an empty feeling to the crypto people there. There is something big that's about to happen in Malaysia, nearby countries will follow as well.
14164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in ICO, still promising? on: September 25, 2017, 08:20:33 AM
Some are just investing on ICO's just to have a bonus then dumps it after they recieve their tokens.

This is the truth about ICO's nowadays, mostly doesn't care about the road maps, whitepapers or any plans the devs wants to make it happen. Every ICO investor is researching first on what are the promising projects and once they seen those projects that are attracting more investors they'll get into it already. The bonus tokens are the most attracting bonus that ICO's are doing most of the time now.

14166  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: September 25, 2017, 05:47:39 AM
Bitcoin can't easily solve poverty. It is a long process, there should be an awareness programs or seminars so that people will be aware on the advantages of bitcoin. Diligence is necessary so that individual would strive to help themselves out of poverty.

I agree with you. It's really a long process. It takes decades or more. Bitcoin can help lower the rate of poverty but it can't end up. To end up poverty we all need to cooperate to each other, discipline ourselves, work hard together,  etcetera. We all need to have one goal and this is to end up poverty. If others will not cooperate and continuing doing wrong, poverty will not end.

Yes ritsel is right there should be some program to introduce bitcoin to the people and this is going to be tough in the depressed areas where they are no computers, internet and any form of technology. For us who lives in the city and has access to internet will say that bitcoin can end our lives poverty but if it is about the world poverty, it's very hard to see it at the moment because there are so many issues that needed to be fixed first.
14167  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What sites do you use to get paid in Bitcoin? on: September 25, 2017, 05:27:00 AM

Yeah there's a lot of good choice in xbtfreelancer if you want to have various choice of job as a freelancer.

How does the email signature work? Do people donate out of good will? Or you have to suggest it? I don't even see how to donate to you if I wanted Smiley maybe because I am too noob Smiley

What freelancing site are you trying to use now? Not all the people are donating out of good will but if they pity someone or does have proof of evidence to be pitied then they'll send donation. Are you trying to say that you want to earn bitcoin out of donation?
14168  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Btc drop near 2k? on: September 25, 2017, 04:37:06 AM
I want to doubt that bitcoin will ever be dropping again near $2,000. Just don't speculate backwards as we must be heading forward and we shouldn't rely on this price anymore. Look that we didn't missed another bad news from false news spreader and also from a demon FUD that starts to do something crazy again and keeps on hitting crypto currency as of the moment. The price didn't reflect from these words so we are good now.

Yup! I agree with you I really think that we would not see the flat $2000 mark value ever again and in the recent FUD that Dimon guy ever spouted have surely drop much value from bitcoin this time his thought about it never reach certain users, I think some have known that his words about bitcoin are only nonsense or maybe because Bill Gates positive feed back about bitcoin give them the edge to rely on it, because Gates is a humanitarian that they realize that bitcoin can surely be a solution in the poverty in certain poor countries, maybe that is the way people think right now, there are a many ways that is why bitcoin value are dropping and rising at the same time right now.

$2,000 flat is never going to happen again let's just think that we are on up pattern right now and don't ever think that bitcoin will be dropping again near $2,000. And because of those FUD this is mostly the reason why the price is falling and people are keep on selling their bitcoins because they are fear of missing out  as the price might go lower and they don't want that to happen.

14170  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do I hold? on: September 24, 2017, 11:23:07 PM
You should absolutely hold for, I would say, the next 20-30 years. You can take some profits every several years but it is best to hold as long as possible to get the most gain out of your initial investment. Just keep adding if you can.

That will be long, how he will be able to enjoy bitcoin profit if he's not going to use it for 20-30 years. I suggest that keep on holding until the price gives you a satisfaction and then sell and enjoy the profit you made there. You deserve to enjoy bitcoin and you can still hold 20-30 years of it but don't forget that you have a life to feed and a life to enjoy to the fullest. Maybe hold 10 bitcoins for that long is already good.
14171  Economy / Economics / Re: lest we forget, Bitcoin is a blessing. on: September 24, 2017, 11:13:44 PM
8 years ago, Bitcoin is just a baby was borned in a cruel life, through every problems, bitcoin now grows up and become more stronger to against all opponents.

And it became a blessing to all of the users here and before it's image to the people is very bad because it's the only medium and currency that is being used for illegal trades. But thanks to other alt coins that are more focused with anonymity they replaced bitcoin in those type of use for illegal trades. And this made bitcoin a blessing to all of us because it is now in the mainstream media and it's demand is getting higher.
14172  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you trade altcoin with BTC ? on: September 24, 2017, 11:06:47 PM
Yes I'm trading with alt coin and bitcoin at the same time. This is all about trading, if you only trade bitcoin / USD then that's a good choice but if you want to have a broader knowledge and experience in trading and as well as the profit, you have to trade with alt coins. What's good here is that you have a thousand of choice to choose but the bad side is that no one can predict the stability of those coins.
14173  Economy / Economics / Re: Which country would be the first to eliminate fiat and convert to crypto fully? on: September 24, 2017, 11:00:31 PM
Which country would be the first to eliminate fiat and convert to crypto fully?  My guess is China...
No dumb country would do such thing and I'm really sure of that. Its impossible to replace local fiat itself by crypto knowing  that local fiat signifies or symbolizes a country regarding on its economy and its power.Theres no place for crypto to replace such thing and also government wont really allow that and thinking off that crypto isn't legally regulated on most countries it would really be hard to trade on.
Yeah there will be no country that will be totally shift to crypto and will make their country as a country focused country. Not all the citizens for each country are techie or good in adoption of technology. There are people that will be subject to this upgrade because they doesn't like any digital money and fiat will be forgotten for real. It's also a very risky thing for that country if they'll shift to fully focused in crypto.

14175  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the week we see the $4500? on: September 24, 2017, 10:23:08 PM
All china bullshit didnt' bring BTC below $3500, the scammer Chase CEO didn't also bring it down...

So are we back to normal?

This is unusual or we are just already sick and used to the drama's and this shill that is bringing nothing good to bitcoin but only thinks about himself. Possible that everyone is already aware about Dimon's tactics since news are scattered around when we have seen the price of bitcoin starts to drop, his company bought a lot of it. And hopefully that we are about to see the price of bitcoin go up to $4,000 soon.
14176  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: September 24, 2017, 10:15:05 PM

I think the future they have, but certainly not for long years 10 somewhere like that. So, how soon everyone will switch to e-money and cards.

Very likely that's what going to happen, most of the transactions will be that way. This is happening already so there's no reason that paper money will be staying. And look on how many people wanted to depend on this type of e-money transactions because it's very fast to have the cashless way. I preferable still to use paper money so that we can have other choice when we are trying to purchase some goods.
This is only for a matter of time that you are preferring paper money instead of e-money or cards. Once the government masters the blockchain technology then there would be only blockchain based currency in every country where everyone will be using their smartphones to pay for coffee or to buy movie tickets. Even there was a news a while ago that Russia is thinking of implementing blockchain technology based currency in the country and also that some of the Indian banks are using blockchain technology to keep track of intra Bank transactions.

I'm also hearing and reading news about big tech companies are starting to get into blockchain technology and if that happens for sure there will be a lot of changes in terms financing. I also watched a lot of videos that about scanning qr codes and they are already paid. In China there is a store that doesn't receive cash, instead it is receiving alipay which is their very own payment method from alibaba.

14178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it possible? on: September 24, 2017, 02:24:38 PM
Can bitcoin be the world's currency?

Why not? We are in modern days now and people wants to have one currency and so that transactions can be done easily. For example, if you are a traveler and you don't want to have some hassle by converting your dollars into some local currencies because the value are changing due to inflation, market demand, stock exchange and other stuffs. But if you have bitcoin and it's widely accepted, it's a good travel right?
14179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can I have two myetherwallets. on: September 24, 2017, 01:33:08 PM
Can I have two myetherwallets. As it is a web based wallet I think it is possible to have. What are your suggestions?
Yes there is no restriction on creating myetherwallet account and in fact that you can create a lot of it. What came to your mind about asking this thing? But I would prefer to have only one but if you prefer to have many MEW accounts at the same time it's up to you. My suggestion is that use only one, what will be the purpose of having many accounts there? Just keep your private key.
14180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Parents disagree with MMO – Make Money Online and Bitcoin ? on: September 24, 2017, 01:11:53 PM
My parent , especially my mom , she always tell me to stop doing bitcoin otherwise i will go to jail or doing bad things to social ! I don't get it ! Old generation seem very lack of experience in Bitcoin !

Your parents are just trying to be over protective to you. They might understand what bitcoin is and heard that it is being used in the illegal transactions. And that's why they are trying to stop you using bitcoin, they also doesn't know that bitcoin is an investment and they might be lack of information about bitcoin.

Why they keep telling us to stop when they even don't know how to check a simple email on ebay ! How to explain them guys ?
Don't include my parents, it is only your parents.  Grin
