1421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When do we expect Lightning Network to come out? on: December 22, 2017, 09:35:38 PM
it's a sticking plaster and many people are saying that it will involve brokers that need to lend out the cash so the extra speed
will end up being a service that you end up paying for.

Time for a major re-write of the whole system and dumping the block-chain before it becomes any bigger if you ask
me because it's already at 200gb and to work out what wallet contains what balance you have to scan the whole darn
thing and everything I have seen with the software so far stinks of being bloated, over complicated and designed to
eat up CPU power.

Transactions per second
BTC=7
ETH=15
IOTA =100 (Tangle)
VISA =25,000 (Semi-Centralized

Come on when did we start pricing bandwidth and processing in bytes and end up having to pay $50 for about 250 bytes to be recorded
just so the public could see the data, not that they can really understand whats going on.

They say these coins are worth something because of the processing power that is used so who's going to get me some money
if i write a program to count all the black pixels in all the images I can get from google images if I search for the term "Dead Ducks"
NO ONE RIGHT!
1422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Physical security practices for Bitcoin wallets on: December 22, 2017, 09:21:47 PM
The price of the hardware wallets have gone up and you have to pay far too much for what they do.

Pen-Sticks seem a better option for the price or on an Android phone you keep a spare SD-Micro and just keep
your wallet on that if you are using something like Jaxx (Pass phrase can be decoded from the file by hackers)

These expensive hardware wallets rely on central servers anyway so lets not pretend that anything is perfect and do
note that these days microsoft is running its own key-loggers and google + fakebook are recording what we say plus
x-boxes are scanning anything on your LAN even when you think they are turned off.

1423  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How BITTREX try to scam his users: BE AWARE! on: December 22, 2017, 08:22:35 PM
I am sure that a private wallets comes with some risk but stories like this and what i have seen with my own
eyes makes me think that moving out of Coinbase was a good move and now I just want to attack the miners
(all owned by ten big names just about) and crash there banks of GPU's for being rip-off-merchants with the fees

Good to hear you got your money sorted, you rich bastard  Cheesy
1424  Economy / Speculation / Re: Did we hit the bottom? on: December 22, 2017, 08:12:17 PM
I don't think the punters in the casino have noticed yet that the mafia guards are starting to lock the doors
via increase in transaction charges that are over $55.00 just now because they don't want you jumping out of
BTC and they don't want anyone using online wallets with the likes of Coinbase to move the BTC to a private
wallet so that you can profit from the Segwitx2 fork on the 28th

Well I feel better now that I took ownership of my coins back from Coinbase even after paying £22 just to
move my coins in transaction fees because I never did trust them.

Don't worry guys, these Tulips will soon go back up but I don't think i would be saying this if the price was falling
from $50,000 because that's when they really will be some serious dumping go on

1425  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is the most expensive vaporware in the history of software industry on: December 22, 2017, 06:32:17 PM
$55 per transaction and raising

I hope you jest, they are locking the doors so we cannot get out at these prices and if I do get out
then sod them, i will not be coming back after being burned

The whole block-chain concept from a software point of view is bloatware but who is a
MCSD, Mcp, Msc software developers of 30 years under his belt to argue with.
1426  Economy / Speculation / A digit just dropped off the end of price of BTC in GPB on: December 22, 2017, 06:25:37 PM
Well it's just gone below £10,000 but don't worry or panic because I believe the bankers or whales as
you like to call them here are pumping and dumping

Tulips in the 1700's cost as much as ten times income before they crashed which is about as much as
we are being forced to pay for homes here in the UK because the bankers keep blocking planning
permission at the local level so fear not friends, this is not the big one
1427  Economy / Speculation / Re: 45% drop - this is new territory, never seen before on: December 22, 2017, 06:17:23 PM
Anything below 50% is normal in my honest opinion and nothing to worry at this stage. However, I do believe that the correction will help Bitcoin to stabilize itself and grow in the long run at a sustainable rate. We have seen almost 1,000% growth in last 6 months and why we are worrying about 45% drop? Things are moving in right direction and correction was essential at this stage so enjoy the situation.

No things are not moving in the right direction as you put it and transactions fees are just crazy, Coinbase poor exchange rates ignored whilst price was going up
and the network is far too slow plus some are saying that the Lightning Network sticking plaster won't hold and is too little and too late anyway.

See the history of IBM and computers because BTC is about the same so yes it might be around for a long time, profit will be made
but it's no Intel, Microsoft or Google and tell me who is investigating the price rise in fees or is that not possible in a decentralized system

We are being ripped off and BTC is not moving in the direction that it was designed to move.
1428  Economy / Speculation / Re: 45% drop - this is new territory, never seen before on: December 22, 2017, 06:04:21 PM
Well it's at £10,007 so I think a digit is about to drop of the end in terms of GBP and yes I know we are talking Tulips here
even if many of you don't want to hear it but even they had up and down weeks in 1625-35 before it well and truly went bang and
just to settle your nerves I think we are from this being the big one.

Do not feed the miners or Coinbase, stand your ground and only top up if you can afford to gamble and remember

1429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 4 Key Reasons Why DeepOnion Will Become The Top Anoncoin In 2018 on: December 22, 2017, 05:38:50 PM
VERY BIG WARNING ABOUT TOR NETWORK

I have been trying to get the word out from before WannaCry became big news but no one seems to listen.

Being a bad boy I was running a dedicated machine that was using a program that i had written using net-sockets
to scrape information from a web-site via the Tor network so no browser was used on the machine and the program
was just left to run week after week.

Well I picked up a virus that encrypted my files and wanted payment using BTC to be made so that I could get the
key to decrypt my files and this was just as BTC started to take off in terms of price and my assumption is the virus
came from the Tor software itself and not via a back-door in the browser because none was being used.

Yes we know the CIA runs a few exit nodes but i think it goes much deeper than that and after 9/11 many
people have worked out just who the CIA is working for so you have been warned why I would not touch this
DeepOnion coin with a barge poll.

Check out BAT ! Got some good names behind it and the "Brave" browser with a built in wallet uses this token
and it's a very safe browse (Not much calling home) and leaves you in control if you want to earn small amount of
token if you don't mind watching adverts in the pages you view.

1430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Light Coin up 333% from 5 days ago/ Coinbase issues on: December 22, 2017, 05:20:52 PM
Coinbase has proved time and time again that they cannot be trusted and run google adverts that say they will give you $10 free worth of a coin
if you sign up for a new account and spend over $100 and they won't reply to emails when you ask them about it and no i have not confused a
referral program here, it's what it said in the advert that i took on face value.

They also claim to have technical problems when it suits them and lets remember they are so big that they are almost market makers and
as such are quite able to front run trades in any direction.

Now we hear that staff at Coinbase have been doing a bit of insider trading but that didn't stop them the other day trying to
sell the new coin at three times the price of what others valued the coin at.

Good luck Light Coin, get lost Coinbase
1431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Upcoming forks and wallet question on: December 22, 2017, 05:07:33 PM
The wallet is not the problem and is about your coins being held in a pool account like happens with
Coinbase instead of being where they should be, in your name (Public address you have the key too) and
on the official block chain

if you have the coins and the keys then you can sort a new wallet out at a later stage so you
are not hold by the balls by Coinbase who would love to hold on to any free gifts coming your way
in the form of forks like the segwix2x that might or might not happen on the 28th of Dec 2017

When a fork happens the database (Ledger) get cloned and you need your coins in the database before a
copy is taken
1432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: December 22, 2017, 04:48:16 PM
Real money is physical gold and silver like we had before the bankers took over and they have also
taken over when it comes to Bitcoins that could never be called money or a currency because the price
would need to be a lot more stable to facilitate the exchange of goods.

The OP is jumping the gun, $$$ signs seems to be blocking his eyes and you can fork BTC to
create inflation like four times this year but this little ploy won't work with metal coins.

I called the bottom on silver at $12.00 a few years ago and it looked like I was wrong
but hopefully the sheep will sell silver to buy BTC and put that little mistake right for me.

Rest assured my nervous friends because I can see $50,000 on BTC so learn to know when to
hold and when to fold without being too greedy like many of you are.
1433  Economy / Speculation / Re: Pump and dump on: December 22, 2017, 04:10:09 PM
Yes, I think that now is the best time to buy it. It is go down and it is a good chance to invest

Gamble you mean, it's the term used in the footer at the bottom of your post.

Good luck on making a profit from any bear trap but please lets call a spade a spade
1434  Economy / Speculation / Re: Pump and dump on: December 22, 2017, 04:05:08 PM
Yup.

First it was  PUMP PUMP PUMP

Now it is DUMP DUMP DUMP!

Everyone is being greedy and just trying to make tons of money. It seems the dump is going to be even bigger than the pump!

I think most people are selling NOW. Trying to get out before the big crash

I think you are wrong about the big crash and the price will stop falling long before it wipes out
our two months worth of gains.

Coinbase and the miners are making a mint regardless of you selling or buying, they just need
movement of digits that are priced in bytes on this marvelous money making machine called a block-chain.

Hold on to your tulips, do not re-plant them, summer is not over just yet.
1435  Economy / Speculation / Re: Pump and dump on: December 22, 2017, 03:58:29 PM
Yes pump and dump but the big crash will come at a later stage.

The bankers need to get joe public gambling and they will be as happy as pie if they buy at
$10k and it jump back up to $20k.

Why it could almost turn a normal man in to a gambling addict a win like that could and this
is just what bankers want for the sheeple.

it's much cheaper and faster to use a bank to move money than the current BTC network
and the only reason people are hanging around is because of the mega gains on the so called
value of this token but make no mistake you have not broken free from the bankers and you
too are on the menu.

Yes friends i think you will see $50,000 and the bull in the local field will put on
another 100kg but we all know how the story ends don't we

1436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2x due to happen, but I have Bitcoin stuck at Fairlay until January 1st on: December 22, 2017, 03:38:01 PM
At the beginning of November there was a hype about this fork, right now there is no hype apart from a few posts here and there that it will happen on 28. No idea if this is again fake news or legit...

Last time we knew months in advance about the pending fork and not just a few days before it so I am suspicious and this new fork seems to be offering all things to all men including some type of Lightning sticking plaster and ETH type contracts down the road.

Sad to say something just does not smell right with this free gift but i am just trying to decide if it's worth the ridiculous
$25 BTC transaction fee to move my coins out of Coinbase to my own personal wallet just in case it's for real

See link below for more details
www.financemagnates.com/cryptocurrency/news/ultimate-comeback-bitcoins-segwit2x-fork-scheduled-december-%E2%80%8E%E2%80%8E28/

I think anyone can clone the block chain and then offer to give people 1:1 token from the original chain but surly it has a value of zero
and is just one more reason why i don't like this block-chain concept and surly clones of public chains just results in mega inflation
1437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2x due to happen, but I have Bitcoin stuck at Fairlay until January 1st on: December 22, 2017, 03:28:22 PM
Coinbase and Ledger wallet so far only support major fork coin, and the speed is very slow, I waited few months to get my bcc forks.
Ledger is the safest way to keep the coin, but, if you want to get all of your fork coins fast, you may can try  www.binance.com, it has announce to support all fork coin.

Yes binance sounds a better bet but as I understand it having your BTC in the chain means that down the road you can just enter your public BTC address into
some software program and it will credit your new wallets with the new coins by looking at what you held in the old copy of the BTC block-chain

Bit more work but is safer but do correct me if I am wrong

Do you think this new fork is for real ?

1438  Economy / Speculation / Re: That's one hell of a correction on: December 22, 2017, 03:19:33 PM
It's true. This correction is quite scary but already did expect that the price will crash due to its sudden price surge in the previous months. However, despite all that, this dip makes me anxious. I'm waiting for its lowest point so I can buy a btc but people are calling it as the end of the bitcoin. I can't make my call, yet.

if the price goes back up then you will be kicking yourself because you did not buy on the dip !

Already your having trouble sleeping in case the price eats all all this profit you have been telling
your friends about right. YOU CAN NOT WIN

What you have is a gambling addiction to coins and not slot machines or the roulette wheel or poker games and
your poison is Crypto !!!

Me on the other hand is a very logic person and the Tulip price will soon be back to $20,000 per coin
and go on to $50,000 at a guess but all you will still be doing sleepless nights when it crashes back down to
$40,000

Greedy people hold out for top buck and most the time they end up with nothing so don't
be one of them people

1439  Economy / Speculation / Re: That's one hell of a correction on: December 22, 2017, 03:06:36 PM
Look you first need to accept that you are being played to yourselves by the bankers instead of thinking that
somehow you have broken free because they can pump-en-dump and they also control the press that everyone is reading.

Just look at what they have done to transaction fees using ten big miners that control 90% of all transactions

Now they want the public to jump in to BTC feet first so they can be fleeced for trillions and not just billions and
to do that they need the price down to get the general public addicted to this new form of gambling with a give away
as the price then jumps back to $20,000 just like they got people addicted to smoking years ago.

Indeed I can see $50,000 at some stage but lets remember we are not financial experts just because we
win tokens in one slot machine and then play them in another machine because it clunks with the right
type of sound.

Tulips, 1928, Dot-Con boom took so called experts in too you know

1440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2x due to happen, but I have Bitcoin stuck at Fairlay until January 1st on: December 22, 2017, 02:53:34 PM
Thats my point indeed. This new fork is still not guaranteed I think. May be it is from the scammers who emerge fork coins every second day now. We will see it in a few days.

We got let down on this fork in the past so they could do it again and i don't think that the people behind this
split are from the team of developers from the previous segwit fork so i am just sniffing around before I decide
to pay $30 in transaction fees before sending my coins held by Coinbase over to my own Jaxx wallet

Do not trust Jaxx for big amounts because the 12 word phrase is encoded but the encryption key has
become public so some wallets have been hacked but apart from that I do like it
