1421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PoS+PoW] eXocoin [EXO]-gen 2.0- dev. from scratch! Give-Away | Open Beta on: August 03, 2014, 05:40:56 PM

I am not a fudder I am sarcastic to show some flaws. Or are you happy with the current update schedule?

People have no reliable way to know what any ETA will be. And I am not talking about specific days, but months....

Also, >50% of exo holders are NXTers, and they are not hostile like you are.

I am part of the market and I for one want a prerelease trading. Until now there are exactly 5 people against it, just because they are the loudest, doesn't make them right.

I remember you on the NODE thread, here's what you said:

Hey guys,
Due to non-related circumstances I need to sell NODEs. I haven't even received them yet, so there will also be some trust involved.

I am selling 500000 @200 for 1 BTC total.

Contact me please.

As you can see, you are probably going through financial hardship.

I understand, sometimes we all need a little extra cash but pushing a pre-release to benefit yourself is very selfish.

How about finding other ways to make your money?

edit: Hostile in what way? I just asked you to stop with your selfish fudding, nothing else.  Go outside and deal with the real world, then comeback and talk.

edit2: I erased the other post because I figured out what you are trying to do when I remembered your post on the NODE thread, I was trying to correct myself.

Yes I am selling most of my altcoins because I need to spend my time on other things and not 24/7 with cryptos, that is mostly the reason for selling now.

Everyone has an agenda, that is quite obvious, but I don't see why your agenda is more important than mine. I just try to make my point, that I don't think a pre-release trading would hurt eXo.

Also fud is defined as "Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt". How exactly am I falling in one of those categories? I am just stating facts. ETA was pushed so many times, and now there isn't even one. Not even if we are launching in this calendar year.

Stop trying to put it on a competing crypto's exchange!

Just be patient and wait for the full release.

+1
no AE, no NFD.
the only logical solution that makes sense  Grin

Yes lets just wait for... oh I don't know, because there is no timeframe. But hey maybe 2016?

Seriously, stop with your fudding.

You're a big NXT supporter, I get that.

No need to go around bashing any other coin.

Let the market decide when it's released.

1425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Special offer for Dogecoin users. on: August 03, 2014, 03:08:44 PM
It's weird, I've received the e-mail saying that I've received 10 NXTs in my wallet (at https://wallet.mynxt.info), but when I login it still says I have 0. Is that a common problem?

That should not happen. You can check your balance here: http://www.nxtreporting.com

It looks fine in the block explorer, but the online wallet still reports it as 0.

That is indeed strange. You are sure there isn't some kind of filter applied? (have never used this specific site)

If you don't find a solution, just contact the site support, they should fix it easily for you!

I can escrow every deal for 1% fee.

As I am online >12hours a day most of the time, deals should be done fairly instant!
1432  Economy / Economics / Re: Is 1 bitcoin a decent and good investment? on: August 02, 2014, 09:08:56 PM
It is a high risk investment. So the answer is no.

For really long term investment, gold is still better than bitcoin.

In which terms.

Security? (stable prices, unliklier to get stolen) yes
Risk/Reward? Definately not.
Liquidity? Definately not.
1433  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: August 02, 2014, 08:41:45 PM
Actually I started to worry about passwords and password management since the pool became a real business. Then I realized how weak are all those tools for managing passwords, from security perspective.

Unfortunately even today, most of users don't care about their passwords at all. I see this also on pool which has hundreds of thousands accounts; lots and lots mailboxes get hacked every day. (fortunately pool provides 2FA as well as wallet locking, but those are just workarounds for the fact that all password-based internet infrastructure is extremely weak).

I really hope that if people will have Trezor in their hands already, they'll start using its password management capability, if it will be convenient enough...

A bit offtopic, but wouldn't you say that Keepass 2 with all features enabled is good-enough for average private person. (Not talking about multi-million USD/BTC net-worth individuals)
1434  Economy / Economics / Re: Selling call options on your bitcoins on: August 02, 2014, 08:34:23 PM
what is the collateral?

Full collateral. So for a 1 BTC option, the collateral = 1-Option Fee
1435  Economy / Speculation / Re: You guys need a reality check on: August 02, 2014, 08:05:56 PM
I see too much blind optimism. Everyone thinks bitcoins will rise to the moon again.

Remember some points.

1) Bitcoins are as useless now as they ever were

2) Bitcoins are not a commodity, they are not consumed. Everyone who bought on the way up, needs to eventually sell them.

3) The market is very tiny, and is growing slowly at best.

4) 5,000-7000 new bitcoins come into existence every single day.

5) Most people sit with bitcoins on a rally, but eventually it will stall and they will start selling. This will push the price back down.

6) Obvious signs of price manipulation for the pushes. Is it someone using the push, rinse and repeat strategy playing on many of blind optimist suckers?

7) Now that the price has been potentially manipulated higher, will the manipulators keep shelling out their cash to try and hold the price high?

Cool Anybody who wants bit coins already owns a substantial number of these useless coins. Will they keep buying more to help maintain a high price? Who are the new suckers coming into the market now and buying them?

9) Market depth supporting the now $5.00 price is looking very weak on mt. gox.

10) Last but not least, who the hell is stupid enough to pay $5.00 now for a bitcoin?

I have always been a bear, but I've never been more optimistic:

1. You couldn't buy a Dell computer pay the TV bill 6 months ago.

2. New buyers are always entering the market. I sold my friend Bitcoin a few days ago. He's a first time buyer.

3. The market is small, with huge potential for growth.

4. Which is probably the only thing holding the price down.

5. What do you think has been happening the past few months?

6. Maybe, but that doesn't mean much long term.

7. No, and manipulators don't profit by holding the price up. They profit by creating volatility.

8. I don't own much, and neither does my friend. I am buying every month and I've bought three times my normal monthly amount this month.

9. Woah, I didn't realize how old this post was! I'm referring to the current $600 pricing. I guess they weren't so stupid, huh?

10. I'll buy up to 21,000,000 BTC at $5.00 if you are willing to sell.

Do you guys just plainly ignore that the original post is from 2012?HuhHuh??

Is there customs fee when shipping to austria?

No, Both Austria and Czech Republic are in Schengen area.

Oh, I missed that you are shipping from CZ. I somehow thought this was US/else.

Good!

But for future reference: Those vouchers are NOT worth the collateral, also can be faked (with stolen CC and PP)

Hmm, guess this held true anyway.
