1421  Economy / Economics / Re: Reasons you will remain broke as an adult on: October 05, 2022, 09:11:45 PM
CONCLUSION
Most time we blame our government and economy for being poor. Although they contribute largely to the masses poverty but we also need to work on ourself to make a difference out of the bad economy.
This is real problem when you already have the money but you still failed to handle it which of course we should not blame the government for this. Though it can totally affect our lives especially with a high inflation which many can’t really afford to handle since their salary is not that much. Being adult is not easy because you are going to deal with a lot of problems, it is advisable to have multiple source of income to at least cover up most of your expenses.
1422  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Cash in option na ang Metamask using Gcash, Grab and other Banks via Transak on: October 04, 2022, 09:39:31 PM

I really applaud our local banks and companies na nagaadopt ng crypto transactions, sana lang talaga no question asked na especially kapag nagtransact kana kase recently medyo madame ang news sa Unionbank about closing the account.
1423  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits limit my betting limits (Becausue I consistenly winning) on: October 04, 2022, 09:18:37 PM
judging by his previous post, he started playing here yesterday. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5415669.msg61052266#msg61052266 among other things, it's his thread in scam accusation where he complained about the problem with Bitstarz casino.
personally, now I'm a little suspicious of the complete legality of his participation in these casinos. I don't think $300 or $500 is worth the reputation risk for casinos like Duelbits or even Bitstarz.
This could be the precautionary measure of Duelbits since the account is still new and winning that much easily can be a more suspicious transaction. For sure Duelbits have their own rules with regards to this one, though it’s also good to inform the gambler the reason why they are limiting the bet amount to avoid any issues like this, OP should also communicate with them.
1424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some Popular Themes for Online Slot on: October 01, 2022, 09:48:05 PM
wow, I really like historical themes related to the Vikings. this is my favorite type of slots
You can see that in most of the site since they are just using the same game provider so it’s up to you on where to play that game. I see that theme is very interesting and the graphic is good as well. My favorites is the adventure theme slot, they looks nice to me and very exciting. I might try that historical theme and see if it’s good as well. Theme for slots are just for entertainment though, we should not expect this to increase our chance of winning because it doesn’t work like that.
1425  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: October 01, 2022, 09:39:12 PM
Hi guys do we have an ongoing Roobet Art contest? I think I missed it out hehe
Usually they are announcing on holiday/events times like Christmas, Valentines day, Halloween, Easter, etc. If I am not wrong, I believe it is rare for them to start an art contest having no holiday celebrations at all. They had it one time wherein they announce and has a theme of their milestone which is the 1 billion wagers on their site. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5318337.0
Art contest before was Monthly, but since they are already an established site they reduced their market exposure here since they also stop their weekly contest in games and rounds section. Well, it’s still good to see art contest but we can only expect it if there’s an events with Roobet and the holidays of course. Let’s wait for the next event if they will host a Halloween theme or they will skip it and proceed with the Christmas theme art.
1426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Woman Abandons 4-year-old Child In Gambling Shop As Collateral After Huge Losses on: October 01, 2022, 09:26:45 PM
To be honest when I saw the post I was kind of shocked, seriously where I stay women don't really gamble, It rear to see woman gambling, but maybe they gamble with their mobile phone. I think this woman should be arrested and the child should be collected from her, I don't think she deserve to be a mother, how will a woman be careless or stupid to abondoned her son in a gambling shop, I don't know why people do crazy things just because they want to gamble, am not saying we shouldn't gamble but we should have limit, we shouldn't be really addicted to gambling, I can't just imagine how a woman in her right senses will abandon her son in a gambling shop.
There’s also a bad thinking in my culture if they saw women in the gambling table, and it’s bad to see them on this kind of situation where they failed to control their emotion and become more addict. This is an extreme addiction, I wonder what she is thinking but abandoning your own son just to compensate your debt is gambling is too inhuman. Gambling casinos should not allow this to happen again, they should anticipate a possible addiction and prevent it at all cost if they really care about the gamblers.
1427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When Bottom? on: October 01, 2022, 09:14:47 PM
Everyone eagerly wants to know just where the bottom is. But no one has an exact idea about it. We see that the price of Bitcoin is fairly fixed in a range. Maybe this is the bottom. It can go lower than that. But I think now is the best time if anyone wants to make a long term investment.
We can know once we reach it and with Bitcoin I think the bottom can still happen since after trying many times to break the resistance we are still failed to do so which means bear is still strong. I suggest not to wait for any bottom before you buy, better to start buying now and when Bottom happens that’s the time for you to buy more, this could be the best strategy for long term investors.
1428  Economy / Gambling / Re: Odds like 1xbet on: October 01, 2022, 09:07:12 PM
That has been the issue with 1xbet and to avoid any of this, better to go for the most trusted betting site which allows you to gamble without worrying of being blocked as long as you follow all the rules and regulations. There’s a lot of scam accusation with 1xBet I don’t know if you still have balance with them but experiencing that should already give you a warning not to deal with the other site that is connected with 1xBet, because probably they are all the same.
1429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you change your mind on gambling ? on: October 01, 2022, 12:27:42 PM
More rules make a country more corrupt.

People will always find another way (alternative) to do what they like to do! In this case, I guess a good VPN and crypto casino that doesn't require KYC is a good solution for bypassing government rules. Pretty easy and simple.
As long as you are willing to take risk just to gamble, you are free to do this but of course not every gambler will take such risk especially if there's a strong law that prohibit everyone from getting involve in gambling with a huge punishment once caught. I won't suggest any of this, this is too risky and I'm sure you don't want to get punish. For now, all you can do is to focus your attention in other things, wait for a new government to amend this law because for sure they will lose a lot of money at certain point if they continue to banned gambling, there's still a hope for this.

1432  Economy / Speculation / Re: October price guess on: September 30, 2022, 09:59:03 PM
What could be its highest price of bitcoin in October? Would it be bulloctober or bearoctober?
If we pay attention to the Bitcoin chart, we are still very difficult to predict a bull or bear market. Bitcoin price is pumped up in a short time at a low value. The $1k price change is equivalent to a chart movement of less than 5%. Nonetheless, the chart gave good signals over the past week. Maybe in October Bitcoin will reach $22k to $23k. But I don't expect Bitcoin bull in this year, because bear are more fun to increase investment.
This is the last quarter of the year and mostly the price doesn’t pump that much since many will start to liquidate their money to buy presents and prepare for the holiday.

Well, let’s be more optimistic this time since the price of BTC still aims for a higher price and once we are able to break the $20k resistance then we might see higher prices this October.
1433  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos Exclusion of Chicken Invaders: the Xmas version (My favourite) on: September 30, 2022, 09:52:14 PM
That’s a game, we might see that in Metaverse or P2E but it will never be in gambling.
There are games that are not meant for gambling and meant only for entertainment, I see a lot of those games in the apps store and if you really want to play that OP, it can easily be downloaded. Old games are really fun to play though, but then again we cannot connect gambling to this.
1434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Terra still pumping !?! on: September 30, 2022, 09:38:21 PM
Still pumping because the pump and dump group, and because of the whales who are enjoying the trend for this Terra platform since they are making a lot of money from this.

Yes the news about the arrest of DK is very disturbing yet many still want to get involve because they want to have a profit in short term which I think is really possible. If you want to be more safe then don’t join the hype but if you still believe for the long term trend, then it’s your choice to buy or not.
1435  Economy / Economics / Re: SO MANY BLACK SWANS FOR ONE YEAR on: September 30, 2022, 09:24:50 PM
...
So what can be the next black swan?.
...

A black swan is usually a "dramatic" event that is difficult to predict!

"an unpredictable or unforeseen event, typically one with extreme consequences."

for example, who could ever have hypothesized the arrival of a pandemic capable of "paralyzing the world" and create so many issues for a lot of time!?

As such we can only "get hypothesis" about what the next dramatic event might be... unfortunately there is no shortage of options due the last events and war in Ukraine Sad !
This is why there’s a belief in investing that we should not put all the eggs in one basket because if they do and some egg got broke, all of them will be affected. Diversification is the key to compensate your other investments which is affected by the black swan, this is indeed unpredictable but we can prepare for this and that is what doing of many. There’s a lot of bad things happening right now, this might be the reason why bear market will last longer, so better to be more ready for a worst case scenario.
1436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling, tourism and legal gambling age for gamblers around the world. on: September 30, 2022, 09:17:43 PM
If your country is not included but is a travel destination, you can provide a review of the gambling activities in your country for the benefit of gamblers who may want to choose your country as a travel destination
My country is still not consider as one of the good spot for gambling but in terms of local transactions, I can say that casinos already help a lot of people especially now that we can easily gamble online.

Our department of tourism is eyeing to have a casino in one of the best tourist spot in my country and not just like they, they are already adopting cryptocurrency for the transactions so hopefully this will push through because for sure, it will create huge number of tourist and that could affect the life of the locals.
1437  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [Alert] Risk of connecting a wallet to an unknown website. on: September 29, 2022, 09:39:12 PM
Some site already have this before but as far as I know if you will just connect it, you are still safe since they can’t make any transactions with your wallet if you didn’t approve it and since this is just connecting wallet, they still have no access with your private keys. Anyway, just to be sure and be safe if you think the site might put you on bigger risk by just connecting your wallet then I suggest not to do it, try to look for other good site where you can find peace and security.
1438  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: September 29, 2022, 01:17:41 PM

1439  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Is Faucetpay paying bigger withdrawals? on: September 29, 2022, 12:59:13 PM
Why not just get in contact with their Support? You'll get your answer quicker.

When it comes to gambling, a faucet site is the last place we'd look at (except for Freebitcoin)
Probably he is asking for some review about this site and that's why they ask the community which I think is fine since most of the comments here share their experience about the site and I think that's already enough to discourage from trying this site. Though there's no accusation about this site, it's unpopularity might discourage many gamblers to try this site, first their main concern is their security second is the ability of the site to pay you if you won the jackpot and the KYC issues as well.
1440  Economy / Gambling / Re: Punt Casino - New & Improved 🎰 1000+ Games, 6 BTC Welcome Bonus 🔥🃏⚽️ on: September 28, 2022, 09:54:23 PM
We have had many users reach out to us today and ask if we are affiliated with this new website. I would like to let everyone know that Punt.com is not affiliated with this platform.
Rare to see the same name on the same field, wondering what’s the real meaning of punt? Btw thank you for confirming this about the confusion and I hope gamblers won’t confuse with this two site.

This new site looks interesting and very rewarding with a lot of bonus and giveaways. Just have a few questions about withdrawal and the KYC since this is the usual situation where the site requires KYC before you withdraw. Is this a KYC free for a certain amount only?
