Glad you're here, I wanted to discuss this in more detail anyway.

My reasoning is, and always has been, that the rules we as CM's make should primarily be for the well-being of the forum. The customers come second, the campaign participants come third and we as CM-s come last, we're compensated well enough for it.
The rule you make for 30 participants can easily turn into the general rule for all campaigns. Imagine the forum if everybody copied that rule - it would be impossible to navigate. It is a dangerous one, and no matter the potential benefit to the company, I feel it should not be introduced.

I breezed through one of my favorite forum members, he's in MixTum - out of his last 20 posts, 15 are in threads considered to be 'megathreads'. I doubt these posts are being rejected (nor do I think they should be), so why is the rule there to begin with?

I'm really happy to hear that habits of the posters you chose did not change much, what I'm trying to say is that there are parts of the forum where that would be impossible.
Example - take 10 best posters on the gambling boards and look where they are writing. Every post I make in BSFL is read by 50 people, every post Trofo writes in Unijoin's PL Fantasy as well. I think that beats opening a 'How to recover from a big loss' thread - which I would have to start opening to get paid in Webmixer for example.
buwaytress, probably the best poster on the gambling boards, has 1 post out of his last 20 in 'accepted' threads. Trofo's got 0 out of 20. I've got 3, but just because I have a merit application opened in Meta - in gambling I have 0 as well.
You basically cannot write a post on Croatian local that would be outside of megathreads.

Then again, statistically, if that's what we want to be looking at - BSFL has 35.5k views and 4300 comments - which gives a 8.3 views per post ratio. Unijoin's Fantasy thread has a similar one.
2 threads under 15 pages I took at random (Is gambling all about luck?; Never gamble in front of your kids.) have 4.16 and 4.34 respectively - meaning that although BSFL and FPL are 'megathreads', a post there is twice as valuable (visible) than in threads considered OK for payment.

Both Trofo and myself are in your campaigns, so I know that you do look at it from another angle as well - but if I wasn't a forum regular and didn't PM you although it specifically states not to in the rules, I'd be without a campaign, although I feel that I deserve a decent one at least.
I know you'd probably accept most of my posts if I applied and got selected for Webmixer, but I really don't want to go against the rules that are stated there - and I know I would not change my writing style at all.

To conclude, please don't take it personally - it's just a topic on which we don't agree on, and that's ok. I think it's important to have a conversation about it though, not many people nowadays are willing to challenge an opinion of a popular campaign manager (which is kinda shitty as well).


I do agree that you're flexible, approachable and easy to work with. Not in the way in which local pervs crave though.

We decided to allow late submissions in the last rounds of the Cup, we did not expect to have any though.
So far invalid answers are English Cup and tennis. Failure to submit before 14:00 GMT makes his handball answer invalid, and before 16:00 GMT his Napoli answer as well.

We did not DM mv1986, we thought it would be unfair to LFC_Bitcoin who also suffered some penalty points during the season.

Regarding this - well, if there would be a merit source on the boards, people might be incentivized to open more interesting threads, with more content and maybe some interesting links in the OP - instead of just opening another 'what to do when losing' thread every few days.
It can't reduce spam, it can improve the quality though. Then increased quality brings more quality in the form of better replies etc. Gradually, it decreases the % of spam posts that have no value whatsoever. Well, hopefully at least.

The path on BTT is more or less defined - more merits, better account standing, better campaign, more money, better opportunities.
I would like to help members that write quality posts get merited more, so they can grow their accounts on the boards that are currently rarely merited.

We had immediate disqualification in early rounds of the Cup with 5 questions, in this one you can be late and still participate with some answers being invalid - although we do not recommend it

Also, now's the time to tell people you think might be willing to play about BSFL - we're looking for a few more spots in Division 3.
We think we won't be expanding Divisions 1 and 2 next season - but we'll have more concrete plans soon.

@buwaytress - something just occured to me. As things currently stand, you can basically find a game with equal odds and stake 3 4 3 on 3 different outcomes, thus guaranteeing yourself ~10 points per round.
I don't think that anybody did it, but it would be good to add to the rules that you can bet on only 1 outcome per game just to be on the safe side.

Would be quite a dick move if somebody was protecting the lead late on in the competition, but would actually be allowed as per current rules.

Ma ja o tom ne znam baš ništa, nikad mi nije ni trebalo ni zanimalo me. Očekivao sam bacit neki random 'meni je ovo super stolica' komentar jer sam očekivao da ni vi nemate pojma o stolicama (i stvarno sam mislio da je top stolica).
Vidim da sam se malo zajebo pa se povlačim, naravno da je stolica ljudima bez problema s leđima samo neki objekt u prostoru a drugima nešto oko čega se ne smiju zajebati.

8-0 is something you really don't see often, and is especially impressive when done away from home - but what stands out the most is that Newcastle had 8 different goalscorers.

Both them and Brighton are showing some really nice offensive patterns, and they are dangerous from all over the pitch. Definitely 2 teams I'll track more this season.
