I think the price of Bitcoin will not decrease at this moment or before the halving. Because we all ever with Bitcoin halving. And we know the price increase before the having. The Bitcoin price movement look like the bullish season. And the predictor predict the price of Bitcoin will goes up after the halving something 100K dollars. At the current situation the movement of Bitcoin looks like the price will not decrease but no one can guarantee it what going to happen in future but the possibilities shows us that the high possibility to increase price of bitcoin not to decrease.

This topic of Bitcointalk is/was down sometimes scares me, would really like to know if this is just a minor technically issue that users shouldn't be scared of and is like a normal thing that happens each year, I don't get it? But why?
Once again the bitcointalk was down today and this outage was for a long time. I do not know exactly but when I tried to reach bitcointalk it did not open and then I tried after half an hour it still failed to load. Just checked now and we are back up again. I hope there was nothing to worry about  Yes Bitcointalk was down again but it long last about an hour and fee minutes but now we can still access and it back to normal but as theymos said in quoted above we don't need to worry about cause theymos will do his best to fix this is downtime. Anyways hoping that it will not happen again this time. Cause As I observe comparing lastime and now is the longer one cause last time it takes a few minutes but now More than an hour. At beginning of 2022 when I registered here in the forum, I really get confused whenever this happen and thought someone or people were trying to hack the forum that way this error keep happening but as time past I begin to understand that it's actually normal because I have come across this not one or twice so I don't get tripped by the server or system being down anymore . |

If you create something new, and form a business around marketing that thing, within a ten year window, if that product or new creation is not selling, it is usually seen as a failure. Many people see bitcoin like that and so because bitcoin has been in existence for more than ten years, they consider bitcoin a failure. It is a wrong impression they have about bitcoins because asides treating bitcoin as a teen, bitcoin is something that is revolutionizing, and totally against the long financial systems that took time to establish. We should not expect it to be very successful at once when it was not created by the government. We should however celebrate the little successes that it is achieving because it is all accumulating to something huge. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't call the achievement that Bitcoin has gotten, a little one because other cryptocurrency has been in existence with it but the difference has been always clear on the price and massive adoption that Bitcoin has gotten over these little crypto so I don't think Bitcoin achievement for the 14years it has been in existence is something not to talk about because it clearly shows that the coins is growing and others are struggling behind it. |

The gambling addict doesn’t seem to acknowledge nor value the money he has at the moment. What would be going through his mind and foremost in his thoughts would be the money to be earned after gambling away the funds at his disposal.

Of course you are right gambling addict are not always satisfy with what they make from there gambling because there mindset all the time is how to make a huge money or becoming wealthy through their gambling as such they will be willing to spend any amount of money even borrowing in other to continue there gambling levels. Avoid being emotional. I guess that's the number one thing. If you are emotional, you will be carried away by joy, greed, despair, etc. If you are winning and you're very emotional, you could end up losing everything. You think you're lucky and would continue to play even after winning big already. Or if you lost, you could be angry and you would chase your loss and try to recover it. This emotion is equally damaging. You would go home with a bigger loss.
You say this as if it's actually to stop or control your emotions. Human emotions are also one of the major reason people actually gamble too because so many people just gamble to experience that feeling of winning even if the money they won is as low as 1$, they just get joy when they are gambling. For me what one should do to limit himself from gambling alot should be covering his gambling activities with so many activity that will take his time. |

Newcastle need to learn how to play in Europe, I think they are sound in the English premier league but in Europe they are still trying to find their play.
Newcastle against Dortmund yesterday was a very poor performance from Newcastle especially in the first half, and Dortmund is not in the best form.
I think Newcastle were playing too safe and it worked against them, second half was a bit better but still it was poor compared to what they can do, they have now made it very difficult for themselves to qualify from the group.
That is just because the Champions League is a different level competition. Do not forget that only the top four and three clubs in European top leagues make it to the champions league grouping and it obviously is a tougher competition than playing in the league games. I won’t blame Newcastle United for their inconsistency because most of their players are new to the champions league and still lack experience to strive in the competition. Although you still can't deny the fact that this Dortmund team are also at their peak and couple with the fact that are a regular in the champions. They have the experience to count for them and they really did well because with Newcastle securing that first victory over PSG which shocked some because I was not surprised seeing how PSG has been performing lately, everyone would be thinking that they can also repeat same feat with the German but Dortmund certainly made sure that it was the opposite of it. |

Rashford is really not what they used to be as football player and it hurts to see him playing and acting like this during an UCL game + a very important game for his team. Now , I'm afraid United won't even get 1 point today and most likely they will concede another 2 goals in this 2nd half as long as we don't get to see political reasons being involved into into UCL football nights  . If Manchester United does not win against Copenhagen at home they will find it very difficult to qualify for the round 16 in the Uefa Champions League because I do not think they can beat Galatasaray at home easily. If Galatasaray loses to Bayern Munich this night and Manchester United manages to draw the match against Copenhagen, there will be a chance of United qualifying for the round of 16 because they will be on level point with Galatasaray. Their chances of qualifying is now slim and I think it's time for ten hag to face pressure in his position as the manager because things just keep getting worse and worse for two. Well I like alot of altcoins but Ethereum is my favorite. I like Ethereum because there is a real use for it. I dont hodl so many of them but I do think in the next 'bull run' there is going to be some profits.
And I like its blockchain and that you can use Dapps on the blockchain. And it has large marketplace only behind Bitcoin. I do not like its high transactions fees but I do not send them very much.
I particular don't have any specific altcoins I will hodl dearly to me but I think I will do when the bull run has come because this is the only time when I get to actually choose an altcoin I will like to hodl because that period is going to be boom for some altcoins and you can certainly make lots of cash from them but for now I think I will go Ethereum too as they are the next close able coins after Bitcoin and I believe with time coming some much ground will be gained and enjoy for some folks actually HODLing this coin. |

I have been reading a lot of comments on the bad situation at Manchester United and fans seem to be pointing the finger at Erik Ten Hag. Fans are dissatisfied at the manager stats and hoping he corrects his moves because he has failed to acknowledge a crucial aspect of the team's performance. They're having undesirable consequences and they don't seem to be returning to form anytime soon. Erik Ten Hag was a competitive coach for Manchester United, but he always had problems with his players, particularly Cristiano Ronaldo, which drove him out of Old Trafford. No matter how good you are as a couch, if you lack good relationship manner with your players you will not succeed in the team because without players, coach did not have anything to do, and the little players Manchester United have Ten Hag relationship with them is becoming an issue since from the time he started with Ronaldo and he succeeded in letting him leave the team, the same thing with Da Gea, now Jordan Sancho. I wanted supporting Ten Hag during Ronald's time, but his continuity in doing such act is my problem with him because this act is making Manchester United lose matches. The most important rule I follow is that I never gamble in front of my kids or any other teenagers. With time and experience, I know the good and bad sides of gambling. They don't, and there is a big change, if they see us gambling, they might get inspired to gamble. Which I think can have a bad impact on their future. Because they are still young and immature. That's why it's a must follow rule for me. Another thing I don't do is gamble at my workplace. Work and gambling should not get mixed up. It's unethical and very unprofessional. Gambling should be for fun and only in our free time.
Gambling in front of kinds is a most no go area and as a matter of fact, gambling should basically avoid children this is so important to avoid possible future disasters waiting to happen in time, so to avoid that from happening one need to clearly separate gambling from kids until the grow to a certain age. This is why gambling in an environment that you feel is secure private to avoid involvement from family and friends, and also having a restriction to time yourself and your activities also at some point is most important too. Those newbies are right, on Bitcoin not much profit can be expected but with alts much more, they rise when btc rises (no matter how useless they may be, just existence is enough).
However, you are also right, stick to top altcoins and bitcoin. Top altcoins are nice balance between safety and profit, Bitcoin is ofc safer than all.
Altcoins can be a good source of investment only if you hold them for a short term because the probability of these altcoins dumping and leaving you in the blue is very high and that's why it's always advisable to go for a short term investment with altcoins especially when the market starts pumping because like what you said Bitcoin rise always influences and pushes other coins around it. |

Once a person is in that state it is very difficult for them to stop without any help, however even if their family members were willing to help them, it is unlikely they will actually listen as they are not going to believe they cannot recover the money they have lost, it is only once they have lost it all when they finally understand what they have done, but by that time it is too late and there are even some of their family members which will at the time want nothing to do with them as they will be incredibly mad at how irresponsible they were.
regret always comes later and that is what will be experienced by gamblers who have lost everything and they want it all to come back to them. and therefore before it is too late, a gambler must first realize that what they are doing is wrong. even though it is quite difficult to advise them, as the closest people of course we have to be able to give them advice, even in the end they will reject it, but no one can give them advice other than us, the closest people to them. According to a press release from Nov. 7, Athena Bitcoin Global and Genesis Coin have already enabled the use of the Lightning Network technology across their technology infrastructure and will now begin implementing it, first in El Salvador and then across Latin America. The Lightning Network is a layer-2 payment protocol that enables faster withdrawals and minimizes transaction fees. It also avoids recording the transaction data in the accounting of the main network. According to Coin ATM Radar, only 3.7% of the world’s crypto ATMs support the technology. Athena intends to switch to Lightning support at 100 of the state-owned Chivo ATMs it’s operating in El Salvador by December 2023. The remaining kiosks, including the Athena-branded ones, will follow in Q1 2024.
