1421  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If prices crash after halving, what would you do? on: July 06, 2016, 10:43:02 AM
I think there is a chance that prices will crash post halving. If that happens, and especially if we see ~550 $ again, I will buy some more BTC and put into long term cold storage
Personally i dont think that price may go down to 550$ ( maybe a little bit yes ) but indeed we are seeing some low volume now, what could lead to price decrease.
Luckily im safe,i have enough btc to make profit even when its down some, and i have money prepared to buy if the halving will be a surprise.
I still have hope that it is going to rise after it.
1422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: July 06, 2016, 10:40:47 AM
I don't hate bitcoins , probably people had some losses due bitcoins etc may hate bitcoins , for for me bitcoin is good income ,it is very easy for transaction and user friendly , i hope future will very good for bitcoins.
I know many people who has got really over-excited about bitcoin, that is the easiest way to make money ever, and they lost money due to their
"magic way to earn".Those people hate's BTC right now.
So it is really up to if you are smart: if you can appreciate the opportunities that BTC does, you simply love it Smiley
1423  Economy / Speculation / Re: its time to sell if you haven't already on: July 06, 2016, 10:37:49 AM
But...but...it still no halving yet
Just wait till halving come, 5 first day after halving will have another hype

Yes price may rise after the halving, so holding my coins tight and I am not at all in hurry to sell my coins as I want to earn higher profits.
Im doing actually the same as you do,holding my bitcoins and waiting for the halving.
Jstalk you can expect the volume is down before halving,it usually happens because people dont spend their coins and just wait for the bigger price.
At least that is what i do,and seems not me only.
1424  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Clever Bitcoin - Scam or not? on: July 06, 2016, 10:35:49 AM
Hi guys,

Im quite new to this crypto-world and have been watching bitcoin and alt-coins for sometime now. I have come across quite a few faucets which were good. Recently i came across www.clever-bitcoin.com. My doubt is whether this is a scam or does it really have a flaw as they say? Its looking too good to be true. Tried tweeting out the same, but noone seems to have noticed this website.

From their website:

"No matter how secure and innovative would be Bitcoins, they are just some bytes on a digital storage medium and they can be copied as well as any digital information. We've thoroughly studied the Bitcoin client from within and have found an almost imperceptible but very significant flaw (associated with the commission), using it we have committed a Bitcoin transaction in which the recipient has received more Bitcoins than the sender has sent. Unfortunately, the difference is not so great (about 1%) and if you make only one transaction by a small amount your capital will not increase much, but if you make transactions permanently and by a large amount, you can get rich very quickly."

It goes on to say:

"We've discovered this flaw recently and have not yet managed to win a lot, but every day we multiply our money hundredfold times and want to do it more. We all understand that such a freebie can not continue for a lot of time and this flaw will be found and corrected in the near future, but until that happens, we want to win as much as possible. That is why we have launched this website, where you can make an investment and we will multiply it twenty times. Half of this money we will give to you, it means that your investment will be returned to you hunderfold in the next 24 hours. All you have to do is to transfer some Bitcoins to address listed below (we do not accept investments below 0.04 Bitcoins) and your investment will be multiplied hundredfold and will be transferred to your wallet within 24 hours."

URL: http://clever-bitcoin.com

Transactions which are listed there are actually verified in blockchain.info which seems even strange.

Further check into the website domain registration and found that it belongs to "Henk Zegwaard", but cannot find that name anywhere.

Whois: http://whois.chromefans.org/clever-bitcoin.com

Another interesting thing found from the website:

We share our secret method of generating x100, we can help you setup the complete system, just deposit at least 2 BTC and you will receive instantly an email to get you started !!

Important: In order for our site was not closed and we were able to make a profit, without attracting attention, you are limited to one deposit in 60 days. (1 IP, 1 computer, 1 wallet)

Thoughts guys?

You try this by yourself but im almost sure you will only lose money, its looks like a 100% ponzi scheme.
Anyway if its not ponzi but HYIP,they probably do not generate profit at time but they just look like ponzi.
Stay away to not lose your money.

Please shoot me on offer Wink
PM sent with my offer. Please revert.

Sorry but unfortunately your offer is a bit too low for me. I guess I'll just find another exchanger.

1427  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any safe way to grow my bitcoins ? on: July 06, 2016, 06:29:32 AM
Well, there isn't really any way to increase your bitcoins safely. If you want to increase anything, you re taking on an unavoidable risk. Nothing comes without risk and effort.

If you want, you could try not investing your coins but rather just working for your coins. That way, there is not risk.

1431  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will never reach $700 again on: July 06, 2016, 06:08:57 AM
Lol, it's seriously funny to look at trolls retrospectively and see how wrong they are from he beginning. I wonder if they secretly bought bitcoin when it was only $200 apiece. If they did, then they would have profited $500 on each coin Tongue

Haters gotta hate Undecided
1432  Other / Meta / Re: Is it possible for mods to state reasons for deleting posts? on: July 06, 2016, 06:06:49 AM
There isn't any reason other than off topic replies or spam deleted by mods. At least I'm not aware of anything like that.

So there is really no point in stating the same reasons over and over again "spam" "off-topic" etc. etc.
1433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is dogecoin worth to invest? on: July 06, 2016, 04:24:36 AM
I don't think so. To be honest, any altcoin will die off in the long run because bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency. There is simply no need for another altcoin when bitcoin can be used.

Short term investment? Maybe. Long term? Nah.
1434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In gambling, Money is more important than knowledge and luck on: July 06, 2016, 04:21:42 AM
Without money you can't start, without a knowledge it will lead you to a big loss situation and the most important ingredient is LUCK to yield more profit. In my opinion ,I think luck is the most important factor in gambling.

Defintiely. Money and knowledge is really unneeded if you have tons of luck. YOu can literally hit the 9900x payout 30 times in a row if you had luck, and gain a bunch of coins from faucet.

However some games does require skill, like poker.
1435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in all alts on: July 06, 2016, 04:14:21 AM
I'm really not sure what you would reap from investing in all of these shitcoins. They improve little or next to nothing on the principle of bitcoin and really, I don't think they are worth your time.

Just keep stacking your bitcoins Smiley
1436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a sin to gamble? on: July 06, 2016, 04:10:27 AM
Not really. Gambling should be considered as any other marketplace activities. Whether you buy shares or invest in bitcoin, it is still technically a gamble. The house is simply offering you a fair opportunity to win & lose money.

Be rational when you gamble though.
1437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling is Exploding on: July 06, 2016, 02:45:33 AM
There are so many people gambling these days and that will not stop direct. because some idiot thinks he has something new gambling with coins wasting your coins on such a stupid game it is just wasting of your time people...

To some, it's not a waste of time.  Some with gambling in their blood like the high rollers would take a chance playing with their bitcoins.  For an ordinary player, some bitcoin gambling sites provides a few satoshis to start with so they can gamble even without depositing.  Plus it's fun socializing with other fellow gamblers.

Yeah, one of the most important things I guess about crypto gambling is that it al/ows you to interact with other gamblers in a way that hasn't really been possible at all in the past.

And yes, faucets are also one of the best things about BTC casinos.
1438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: July 06, 2016, 02:43:41 AM
The house edge is what makes the house always win in the long run. There is no way you can cheat the house edge(Unless you are hufflepuff with an exploit, of course Wink)

That's why investing in the house can be profitable. You're gambling with a negative house edge.

1440  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice 4 out now! The biggest bitcoin game got upgraded! on: July 06, 2016, 01:48:31 AM
But I thought it would be interesting for people to choose their own transaction priority. For example a low priority withdrawal only takes 0.00005 BTC, medium 0.0001 and high 0.0002.

agree to this, there are times that the memory pool don't have much unconfirmed transactions is 10k sats fee transaction won't take too much time to get confirmation so it is better if a user can choose how much they are willing to pay for transaction fees

Well, yeah. Only If they can find a way to implement this system, though. Each transaction has a different size, so it would be hard to get a "one size fits all" system in this regard.

I don't mind my transaction waiting on the unconfirmed status for a few hours to be honest, because sometimes I don't really need the coins urgently and the transaction size is small, and a 0.0002 fee would take up 20% of the withdrawal amount.
