now, first batch of S5 sold out in 12 hours. good luck to you guys.
Nope, not sold out. Let me put it to you: BMT are unsure about the stability of the S5 and they have only sold a few to test RMA requests. I guess we'll just have to wait and see if they can beat SP-Tech 1 (one) voluntary RMA in Thousands... dude, you are really working hard here, I hope you get your free sample of sp20. I don't accept free units, all of my miners are paid for. thanks for your concern. then you are really stupid if you are doing it for free.

Tupsu, you seem to have a requirement to post only half of the story across many threads. The problem was caused by user error, as you can see here:
bitmain bashing ✓ new thread about s5 concerns ✓ spoondoo signature ✓ ... now, first batch of S5 sold out in 12 hours. good luck to you guys.

It looks like bitmains antpool is exploding with new mining farms based on their new antminer s5. I guess we will get a difficulty increase after all.
When?! Looks like we keep going down down down... hopefully the price doesn't!!! If you look at both the hashrate and the blockchain 4d-48h-24h charts you will se an increase in their share that is outside of what one would expect from pure luck and coincides with the launch of their new more power efficient s5 machines. Of course, I could be wrong. you are wrong. mining phase of GAW scamcoin is over, everybody back to btc.

The consensus is its going down?
no. another leg up then down. and what's the story with "consensus"? I am reading about consensus every two pages of this thread.

you can call bs, but I get similar numbers - about 100~120 $ for 1 btc.
hardware cost excluded, but most hardware is working for months already. hell, i got bitfury gear which is more than 1 year old and still mining with profit.
So why is hashing rate dropping then? maybe some noobs didnt do their homework and have expensive electricity. I dont care really. Expensive electricity and/or expensive hardware(imported stuff with taxes) and/or taxes. How much left after taxes. If you ever bother with them at all. no taxes for btc here.

$58 excluding HW,
You are all losing to Fatman if true, he is paying for 1 kW 0.04 $. not bad.

When do the orders open?
why so in hurry? remember, never buy the first batch of the new miner.

he sounds pretty desperate. I guess he doesnt have much faith in the USA corrective system and facilities. and no, I am not terrified, but I would like to know what happened to goat and other troll posters from this thread? their posts are nowhere to be found.

Well I kind of already did. You speak quite pompously overall, and the entire tone of your previous post is very "we intelligent, privileged few."
if you think about it, "we" actually doesnt exist in reality. it is a construct. few are intelligent and privileged by definition, "we" aint.

all that talk about mass adoption and price skyrocketing, especially in 3rd world countries.
did any of you consider scenario where mass adoption leads to massive price decrease?
the more people use it to transfer value (transfer as opposed to hodl) less value it has.

Thanks to crashing XRP, bitcoin might see a substantial influx of money in the next days.
The high this week was $0.028 and its now $0.025. That's a crash? That's less than a bitcoin fee. The problem is, as Ripple labs and those other 2 guys hold something like 80% of XRP. As soon as some bad news comes, they could cut their loose, before the market even knows of a problem, the market could be literally wiped out almost instantly. Ripple is a risk too far for me. I want to see counterparty make it, I might buy in at some point. That, and also I don't think many 'ripplefans' even understand what XRP is used for. They just buy it because they see it's going up for whatever reason, and then they come here on a Bitcoin forum to cheerlead for it and try to get some more suckers into something they don't understand. why are bitcoiners any different?
