Yeah, US1 was down.  I really need to move that server.  It should be back up now.

Yeah, 2.9.7 crashed on me as well this morning.  I don't know why, just got a nice Windows error and close program.  Trying 2.10.0 now.

I wonder where the foul mouthed BFL spokesdude has gone too. The silence is deafening. Hello? If you miss your daily quota of personal attacks and trolling accusations, this is going to reflect badly in your performance review under the "productivity" section. Please think of the children and save Christmas.

Are you so dense that you haven't figured it out yet?  I only come in here and whip up the natives when the BFL mania dies down.  Right now, it's a raging fire, you don't need my input.  The top 10+ threads in the hardware forum are all about BFL.  If things start dying down again, I'll post more.

...and they're mostly debates about whether BFL is staffed by idiots or thieves.

You are one of my best workers Smiley  I appreciate you more than you know.

Thank you! Must be nice saving all the effort of creating sockpuppet accounts yourself.

Absolutely!  I don't believe in sock puppet accounts, I just get people like you to post constantly.

I believe they are.  Starting from scratch and they are going to ship 72 GH/s at 120w in January?  Especially given the PCB renders they just posted.  Like I said, good luck.

Did he just overlook every time he trolled bASIC and Avalon on his company website?

Yes, he did....

Show me where I posted false information... good luck with that.

That clause doesn't even make sense in this context, but what ever.

No, trolling would be what CreativeX, Frizz, etc... do.  I respond to posts with verifiable information.  Trolling would involve posting false information to incite flames.  Fortunately for me, this forum is fertile ground for refuting lies and bullshit, so I don't need to resort to trolling.  I just need to go around correcting idiots.

Ok... US2 should be catching up now.  I am going to pull that server and try to figure out what's wrong with it.  I suspect a bad stick of memory at this point.

I have been waiting to get a new US1 server installed as well as bringing back EU and PACRIM... I will try to make that a priority this week.

-EDIT-

*BANGS HEAD* ... the server tech just took the wrong server offline.  It will be back up shortly.

The only crashes I have seen with 2.9.7 is when a backup stratum pool goes down, back up and then down again.  If the backup pool stays down or stays up, it doesn't seem to crash.

What kind of namby pamby crap are some of you feeding this guy?  If you're an alpha male, show her and she'll come around... if you're not, then sulk back to your den and whimper about how unfair life is.  Although, the fact that you're posting here asking for advice is probably indicative of which direction that's going to end up.

Just ask: WWFD

I kid, I kid... or do I?

One of my machines is mining stratum on US3 with no problems.  What server are you on?
