1421  Economy / Economics / Re: Currencies worth less than Satoshi on: December 09, 2020, 11:51:23 PM
As a citizen of one of the countries you mentioned, I admit that Bitcoin is a better currency than Fiat currency in my country.  The main reason why this happens is because fiat currencies are very vulnerable to inflation.  In fact, the hyperinflation that hit my country several times has become a historic momentum for the country's economy which is very badly damaged and is reflected in the fiat currency exchange rate in my country.  Currently, I myself really recognize Bitcoin as a currency that is free from the effects of inflation in the country, and I am very happy to make Bitcoin an investment instead of saving my country's currency as a saving.

It is nice to hear a perspective coming from one of those countries mentioned by the OP. And recognize the importance of bitcoin in your current situation. On the other hand, I had been in those 3 countries mentioned, and you will really feel that you are rich if you are holding their fiat money. But the actual value is really small. It is like you are holding play money when you have their paper money.  Wink
1422  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best Crypto Trading Terminals on: December 09, 2020, 10:14:31 PM
No experience with all of it. And I know that the first one suggested is you are the owner of it.  Wink

Having said with that conclusion, you're saying that the first one which you owned is the best for individuals. And that means that you know that most of the people here aren't that much advanced in trading and there are more people that are new in trading crypto.

Btw, nice interface you've got.

If not the owner, he has vested interest with shrimpy. As I have seen, he's been promoting this site based from his post history. Anyway, not using any of those services as I do my trading directly to the exchange. But maybe for some individuals here who have busier trading activities, they may use those platforms.

You never gave a reason that you prefer those picks of you. At least doing that, we know how sincere you are for picking them against others. It can tell about if you just promoting them for your advantage or you are doing it to profit traders generally.

Based on the article, the pros and cons are already mentioned on each trading terminal.
1423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: World Map of Bitcoin Legality on: December 09, 2020, 09:09:11 PM
It’s not going to be a rocket science. Bitcoin is barely two decades and with struggles through the centralized Authority as a decentralized currency with lots of unfavorable factors still have recorded success globally and with incredible value rate.

Definitely bitcoin will continue to spread and it’s awareness will be known in both Rulers and Urban areas but like I said earlier it’s not going to be a rocket science, it’s a gradual process as we bitcoin enthusiasts keep bringing up positive contributions to these bitcoin community.
You have very solid points we have some good propaganda against this even many predicted its going to dead soon few have still thinking about this its ponzi but its going to help millions and we still feel its going to be more green in future without any serious trouble many countries will be give soft policies as its not stoppable.

I believe with the move such as with PayPal's inclusion of crypto in their payment system or with Grayscale Bitcoin Trust's buying of btc, will change the perspective of these nations that are treating bitcoin as illegal. If they will not loosen their regulations, they will be left behind. So I am more than positive that sooner or later, they will change their stance in crypto. Just a matter of time before they change their stand. And hopefully, in the near future, we can see those countries with unknown status to change to green colour.
1424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ron Paul advises people to be careful regarding bitcoins on: December 08, 2020, 11:18:48 PM
They just don't want money being stashed without their knowledge.
That means less tax for their pockets to fill.

Same names in the government, same tradition being passed on them.
Steal money from the public like they were not a part of it anymore.
Soon we might have troubles exchanging it back for cash for KYC's will be everywhere. We can't even use it for our regular merchants accepting bitcoin.
It will happen, the question is when or unless someone fights for privacy.

That's the main reason. If they have no control, they can't tax it. As long as they know they can get money out of it, they will find a way how to regulate it. But anyway, what they can't do is totally banning the possession of bitcoin as they don't have the control of it. And with what is happening in crypto space right now, I don't think banning will be on their side.
1425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥[ANN] (ICE) Iceburg Finance - DeFi Yield farming Ecosystem.🔥🔥 on: December 08, 2020, 09:52:03 PM
What I worry about DeFi project is the lifespan of their platform. Most of them are just riding the current hype. How can they give assurance to investors that they can keep their platform alive for long. Yield farming is only good if they have active users. And right now, we can't see much from their website. We don't know if they have capability to run this project or just like all other DeFis, which are still in beta stage?
1426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [SETT] Scrypt x11 PoW/PoS - (NO POOLS/ONLY SOLO) Test Started from block 1 on: December 08, 2020, 08:28:08 PM
Why using walletbuilders c'mon  Cheesy, also i've already tried a coin that was made by walletbuilders before, actually several times, and their wallets never had detection neither false positives, so if this walletbuilders have some detection, i doubt this is safe especially since the "dev" doesn't want to put the sourcecode available on github to public
Also when the guy posts the virustotal detection, he doesn't put the wallet directly into it but a .rar zipped file, that could be anything in there we don't know, but it'S surely not the wallets lol.
too many red flags here. I really hope people aren't dumb enough to download this and start it

He's already upfront with this project. He's running solo on this project and just testing the waters. So no high expectations to begin with. If people want a solid project to mine or invest with, better look around and not choose this one. The future of this is still not clear as the OP may stop this anytime.

And yes, walletbuilders has no good reputation in the forum. I remember, if your coin was created via walletbuilders, they ignored your project.
1427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Uniwhales - Analyze the market movers on Uniswap on: December 07, 2020, 11:31:19 PM
What will happen to this app when Uniswap is not popular anymore? I know it will be years from now. But once the DeFi hype is over, I believe this exchange will also slow down. Maybe you can apply this concept to other exchanges also. Once you established your program, it would be easy to replicate with other exchanges.
1428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 07, 2020, 09:40:08 PM
Of course, Floyd won't choose a boxer whom we gonna fight that he can't be of 100% to win. This is a sure win fight for money, that he got the money already. I don't think if this event could buy a lot of people to watch the party since this gonna be like a drama. Maybe, it is very interesting if he fights against Manny Pacquiao or Canelo Alvarez, that seems excited to see compared this fighter.

Both camps are only hyping this up to get more money. I haven't seen any article mentioning if some of the proceeds will go to charity. Seems that they are doing this for their own pockets. Maybe Mayweather accept this exhibition fight because Logan Paul has a lot of fans, and thinking that they can rake good amount of money here. Let us see if they can indeed attract buyers of this match even without the charity thing.

Hello, yes, we post updates regularly on this thread.

There is one of our community member who was able to build a version of xlarig for Raspberry Pi, come join our Discord to get more support: https://discordapp.com/invite/djAFVvy

Thanks for the suggestion about tip.cc, we are going to take a look at it.

Regarding your last question about our Android wallet, we are going to check that and get back to you.

As I see your thread again, may we know what are your plans this upcoming year? We know the price is not doing good despite the bullish run of bitcoin. However, I am seeing that your dev team is still active and you manage this thread to be well, at least alive. Hoping to see your coin reach at least 1 sat in the next coming months.
1430  Economy / Speculation / Re: ATH will be in 2021! on: December 06, 2020, 11:57:48 PM
snip..
Anyway, I had a question will ATH happening this year? or in the year 2021?

What do you think?
theoretically and logically no one will be able to know when will Bitcoin touch ATH unless you have God's ability (read the future).  I always keep it in my mind to continue to believe that Bitcoin will definitely touch ATH whenever it is (no matter this year or next year).  for anyone who buys Bitcoin at the current price, you don't worry and fear loss, you have to believe that Bitcoin will definitely touch ATH again..

Exactly! Even a fortune teller can't give the exact price at a defined time. Anyway, we are all hoping for positive things in crypto. And when you make your decision, weigh the risks involved and you should be ready for whatever may happen to your investments. If possible, think of alternative plans when things don't go as planned.
1431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: **family survives 40 countries living only on Bitcoins** on: December 06, 2020, 11:17:34 PM
Wow! 40 countries? They are living their lives a dream. This is giving positive vibes to crypto community, that it is indeed possible to live with bitcoin. Lucky for them who believed in bitcoin when it was relatively cheap and amass some for their stash. If nothing else, this article will be a good inspiration to nonbelievers of crypto.
1432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano coin price impact in this bull run? on: December 06, 2020, 09:00:42 PM
The main thing that gives a huge impact to the ADA's price should be bitcoin. Ethereum 2.0 will not be a successful to attract the more users if bitcoin is not getting a bullish trend. it's not only ADA but almost all of top 10 coins were getting affected by bitcoin too. That means the main reason was bitcoin. These days people are rushing to buy the coins caused by they didn't wanna miss the bullrun again.
The development progress of ADA didn't give a significant impact to the price.

maybe you're right about that, but if a good news coming to cardano, i believe the news will push the price up too my friend
because good news means new demands coming, and for sure thats will push the price up buddy

Combination of those factors that influences the price rise of ADA. If there will be no active development even if btc is bullish, I don't think we will see a significant increase on their price. If the ADA team will continue shoving their updates, 50 cents will be easy to reach in the next coming months. They need to take advantage of the bullish market.
1433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AGU] Agouti AGU coin. PoS masternode coin. on: December 05, 2020, 11:40:14 PM
Almost a year that the dev is MIA here.  This project aimed to be a charity coin, but their roadmap has not been updated as seen below. So I don't know if they accomplish at least something here when it comes to charity mission. This year has been very challenging to humanity because of this pandemic. AGU should act on this crisis if they do really want to fulfil their mission.

1434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What have you done/are you doing with your ICO coins? on: December 05, 2020, 09:39:00 PM

I have let go of many of them, that is, sold them, and those I couldn't sell are still there with little to no value. Seriously, the ICO era taught many people a lesson and that lesson is, not all coins and tokens are worth holding for long, and thus, once you see a good price just sell because you might not see such price again; although it depends on the project.
Now, looking at your list, some of those coins are trading, such as ICX, INSTAR, REMME, I also remember CARD, but don't know if it is still trading or not. I suggest you visit coinmarketcap or Coingecko and search for some of those coins to see the exchanges they are listed on if possible. If some aren't listed, you can visit their telegram group to search for answers or to ask questions.

The OP's list is long. Yes, what he can do is check these coins where they are being traded with, if they are still in the market. And if there is still development going on. Because if there's activity going on, better discard it by selling even if it has low value. Because if the team already abandoned the project, there's no way, it will miraculously rise its value. And for the others that don't have market, just let it sit in your wallet. You can't do anything about them anymore. I had invested in ICO myself, and lost. I haven't sold it while it was still listed and now totally gone in the market. Even the website of the project was long gone. So if the OP can get a lil bit out of it, sell it while you can.
1435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SorachanCoin SORA – Hybrid PoW / PoS CryptoCurrency on: December 05, 2020, 08:31:49 PM
Has your coins any relation to Sor project (XOR token) which were founded half of year ago or this is just a project with similar name? Who is founded this project? (I don't see team on your site)

The dev is not active here but they listed their coin to few exchanges. I don't think they will disclose their team members for this project.

i see this "unnamed exchange" almost everywhere , for now the volume is a little low but i think that the exchange can use some promising projects , will watch this sora and what the price does on the exchange

:-)
i take that as a compliment  Grin

I have used unnamed exchange, and never encountered any withdrawal issues. They are pretty fast also. But wondering how are you listing them even if their thread is not active in the forum? Are they reaching out to you?
1436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] WALLETEUM - Token-Sale (EUM) - Future Defi on: December 04, 2020, 10:46:59 PM
full sale in one month with a 20% promotion that looks good, I see your token has been registered on coingecko but has not been updated in 3 months, where is your plan listed after the sale is complete?

We start walleteum project on 2018 and launched pre-ico on 2019 result not raised to soft-cap .Now walleteum start with decentralized Wallet with roadmap on future dApp finance (Defi) on this time.
EUM listed on coingecko and coinmarketcap with freeze trade on exchanges (DEX&Vindax) and we have plans for list on many popular exchanges after token-sale.

your contribute result improve us.

CMO,
FAFA

I noticed that at a glance, you are using the similar logo of waves platform before. Will there be no problem regarding copyright issues here? And since you are exploring the DeFi network now, what is the assurance that you can pursue this venture this time even if you will not get enough funds? Are you going to disclose the funds collected after the pre-sale?
1437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is for you the best Defi Project for 2021? on: December 04, 2020, 07:53:53 AM
It's hard to say which projects will be the biggest winners in 2021 but I'm sure of one thing: challenge is here to stay.

The 'solid' actors (aave, yfi, link, comp, snx ...) will certainly behave well but I prefer to vary my assets and also bet on projects that still have room to grow such as Dia, Ren , Unit protocol, Stafi, Lien and a few others.  2021 is going to be so exciting  Smiley

I somewhat agree about solid ones -aave, link. But not YFI, have you thought about why its platform is still in beta up until now? I am guessing, they don't really have actual development going on and there are only big whales backing up this project why the price is so expensive in the market? So be careful in holding YFI for so long if you have one. At least with aave and link, they both have working platforms and you can see that the team is indeed working on this project. And if you are sincere in investing in DeFi, you need to study the project, evaluate if they are really authentic defi or just riding the hype?
1438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [DEFI] Yfia: Revolutionizing liquidity solutions by DeFi on: December 03, 2020, 09:18:21 PM
Acording to token sale schedule, the token sale already end right?
May we knowhow much fund raised?

Yes, wondering how much they collected from that sale? It ended last Dec 1, but nothing posted on their website. And reading from previous page, their price was about $7 before and upon checking in vindax, it is now in the range of $2.6. Is that because of the swap or there are really no interested buyers here? Their roadmap is also not a comprehensive one. So this may be another DeFi platform that will go down very soon.
1439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Covid19 effected bitcoin positive or negative? on: December 03, 2020, 07:32:29 PM
In my opinion, I would say covid19 , really brought out the effectiveness and one of the true reasons of bitcoin, it was during this period some people got more knowledge about it, so I would say it affect it postively,
If only it was accepted in various food items and other services,it would have pump to a high price than it's.

During this crisis, a lot of people have their time to study more about cryptocurrency because they were stuck at their homes. And for searching another alternative to physical cash, a lot of them encounter the use of crypto. Though at first wave of covid, it affected crypto negatively but not long, it recovers again. And look at where we are right now, reaching again a new ATH. And with positive news coming from big companies like PayPal and Grayscale, who are continuously buying btc, people are now starting to realize that crypto is not a fraud at all. A lot of people are having that kind of perspective towards crypto. So in general, this pandemic brought a lot of positive impact to crypto and we are seeing it now in the market.
1440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Both centralized exchanges and dex arent perfect on: December 03, 2020, 10:37:36 AM
You need to use both CEX and DEX to understand and choose which one is better for your need, I've used both and I'm still more into centralized projects for few reasons, the only thing DEX get better with is security, users are in total control of their funds but every other things aren't to satisfying

At the end of the day, it is up to the user which one he will use to trade with. There are pros and cons on both sides. And you will be the one to assess which one really suits your needs at a particular situation. Because for example, not all the time that DEX has the coin that you want to trade with and it is only found in CEX. And admit it, most of the time, there is no trading volume in DEX. Both types of exchanges are not perfect, but it is on you how you will lessen the potential screw up of your privacy. Submit your KYC only when necessary and make sure the site is legit, not to those never-heard exchanges.
