The OP states the following: To be successful, the TEC must reach at least 2000 BTC total valuation.
I expect you can reach all the things in your white paper with that amount.
Why wouldn't you cap it on a certain amount? So that there is also room for investors money to grow.
For example what if you guys get 10.000 BTC valuation from the TEC, but you only will use 2.000 BTC. What will happen with the other 8.000 BTC?
For investors it would be better to start with a lower marketcap.

Stratis - $1 - Q4 2017
Easy
1$ are you mad ? It's at 6k sat. It could be $1 by then. Such small minds, blind of the potential ... think bigger people. This coin is doing so much more in a small window of time (in development terms). XMR took almost two years to hit 0.02 BTC, Stratis roadmap is making big moves in less than year... Once they have a working C# Node and .net libraries they'll be able to achieve microsoft backing. I know, just didn't like the post 1$ are you mad? Cause it is realistic, and everybody who supports the project knows that. I got over 250k strat, that is why 1$ seems so mad. I am not mad. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I probably won't sell the biggest part of my STRAT for $1, I believe it will go higher eventually. It's the word "probably" that changes everything. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Correction. I will not sell the major part of my STRAT for $1 or lower ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) .

Looks like a good project! Will follow it for sure. Good luck team ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) . The video i didn't like that much, the message is clear, however the video itself looks a little cheap.

OK I've succumbed ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) . I bought a small notebook/laptop so that I can stake my Stratis. It is 1.44 ghz. 2 Gig ram. Intel atom Cpu. It has windows 10 I'm going to just use it for staking. If I can configure the firewall I'll just give it access to the Stratis wallet. And other wallets if I stake other coins. Any tips on how to do that? I guess I'll put some anti virus too. Which type and model is it? Also looking for one ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) .

How does the pos work fpr this coin ? I look through the comments and I'm unable to find an answer. Please help.
POS work the same way as any other coins, you download a wallet and send the coins to your wallet and you leave it open and it will stake. Additional information: http://stratisplatform.com/files/stratis_wallet_instructions.pdf

So now I would have a normal PC that I would use for daily stuff (internet, downloading etc.) and I have a laptop with only the Stratis wallet on it for staking but with an active internet connection.
The PC and the laptop are both connected trough the same WIFI internet connection, does my behavior on the PC affect the internet connection on the laptop, and so is a risk for my laptop with the Stratis wallet?
I would think if you just turn on the windows firewall and block everything else except for stratis wallet. and turn off file sharing protocol on the laptop should be good enough. Can you maybe tell me, step by step, how to do both those actions? Sure, but the steps are different depends on what operating system you have. quick way is use google and search for: How to turn off file sharing How to turn on windows firewall Thanks! And if you follow all these steps, it's impossible to get hacked? Or just a very very small chance?

Can someone post some addnode IPs please? I only have one connection so looking for a few more.
addnode=222.118.200.187 addnode=138.68.6.25 addnode=95.154.20.23 addnode=136.243.50.159 addnode=128.199.122.61 I got 56 connections with those Thanks. That's alot better now. How can I add those nodes to my Stratis wallet? wallet - set -debug addnode xxx.xxx.xx.xx add and keypress Enter When you add these nodes it means you get more out of staking? Cause at the moment I have 1 active connection and still getting around the 1% a day.

Ok Thanks i understand but what do you mean with seconds level?
Sorry for that language abuse ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) I mean that PC that runs the wallet must have same time HH:MM:SS exactly as greenwitch time (at your local zone). This helps a lot on all those POS wallets. oh this ones new to my eyes thank you mate so to avoid orphans I need to make sure that my time is correctly configure I never thought about that but I will, I just have little stratis inside my wallet will try to buy more while price still cheap. You could try adding full nodes from https://chainz.cryptoid.info/strat/#!network Or perhaps it's a latency problem? After quick calc- for me still 11.34% orphans in last 24 hours, from Africa I think i fixed the problem with the time. but thanks very much! definitly fixed i. now i stake every 2-3 hours 1 Strat. before that i just staked 1 Strat every day. I just put the Time Server of Bremen in the Time options of my Mac. So the time adjust perfectly ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Thanks very much guys! So when I live in the Netherlands and the GMT at this moment is 6:34:29 the time on my Windows computer has to be 6:34:29 also. At the moment there is a 5 second difference, does this matter? I can't find where i can change the seconds on Windows, only but changing this doesn't work because on the background the seconds are still counting. Any help?
