IMO, Sevilla's only chance because they are playing at their own base. technically the team is not that good and we can refer to that in the first leg. on the contrary, Juventus is better from a technical point of view. it's a shame, their game was so messy and especially in the first half. I suspect they were carried away by the rhythm of Sevilla's style of play. in the second leg later, it is only natural that they will be more favored because they are playing as the home team. but that does not mean, Juventus can be conquered easily. even I still have faith, if Juventus will qualify for the final round phase. most likely, I will bet on Juventus.

You have not been following Sevilla I guess. They are now in a very better form that they were previously this season. They outplayed Juventus at the Old Ladies. That alone should let you know that Sevilla are no jokes. If they had made use of the chances they created they would have been at least 2-0 up before Juventus got a goal. Sevilla went from battling relegation to being in the 10th position on the league. That's not something you do with luck.
Sevilla are at home and that is an advantage. They managed to get a draw from Juventus away from home, so imagine what will happen when all theire fans are behind them at the Ramon Sanchez?
Sevilla is a team that is good in the Europa. Juventus' chances of winning this game is very slim. I will be betting on Sevilla tonight.

Sports betting affects the game,  and anything that affects the game, affects both ways, both positively and Negatively.
Sports Gambling can be regulated, instead of out rightly banning it.
It affects the game when players of that particular sport also gambling. Players, owners of clubs, coaches, technical crew and every other people involve in a particular sports should not gamble in that particular sport. This way, they wont have any ulterior motive to affect the game.
In soccer there are strict penalties for involving in gambling as a player.
There may still be match fixing and all but it is very reduced to the lowest part of the spot where there is no much scrutiny.

The cheater club has become better than others, what a surprise. And City was finally able to beat Real (buying Haaland and Guardiola had nothing to do with it). A sad result and I don't think Inter can win, so City will take the long-awaited cup. But still, I console myself with the fact that clubs like City and PSG, even with one Champions League Cup for two, will be extremely unsuccessful compared to other truly great clubs.

What do you mean truly great clubs?
So the owners of clubs determine a truly great club or not? This is so funny?
What is the difference between the owners of Manchester United and Manchester City?
Manchester City is a club that have invested heavily on their club, they have taken their time build their team so they can get to the level they are today.
Don't try to undermine their hard work. They may not have the history of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, but they are most certainly creating their own history now.
1444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: May 17, 2023, 02:59:51 PM
The Sevilla and Juventus game is one game I'm sure that the home team will win before half time, Sevilla did well by taking a draw at Juventus home. Sevilla is a good defensive team, they have a very solid defence line ,which will be difficult for Juventus to penetrate into. In this game Sevilla is ahead of Juventus and they will win Juventus too. I'll stake all on Sevilla to win.
I also believe Sevilla will win that game. Sevilla did unexpected well in the first leg. Juventus just woke up towards the end of the match. I also believe if Juventus had scored that goal earlier, Sevilla would have scored again. They were that determined.
In Spain Sevilla will dominate and win. The only Achilles hill will be the same issue they had in the first leg; not making use of their goal scoring opportunities. If they had made used of the opportunities they got they would have had a better advantage by now.

Than the Bayern Leverkusen and Roma is another tough game that's hard to predict, but Mourinho is one coach that can turn things around at any point and he wants to win in every club he has coached. So he will take this game personal, he will lead Roma to the if they defeat Bayern Leverkusen tomorrow.

This is going to be a very difficult game to predict. Leverkusen is an attacking team and I believe they will attack Roma a lot. That been said, I will bet on Roma. The only reason I'm betting on Roma is because of Jose Mourinho. I don't think he will throw away his one goal lead.

Arsenal are starting to put together their first official bid for Declan Rice with a formal offer expected to arrive soon. Honestly, Arsenal need a more solid squad next season, especially now that we'll be playing European competition and the domestic competitions. It’s a good thing that Arsenal are planning well for next season. Declan Rice will be a great addition to this current squad. He understands English football. Partey has been uninterested in some couple of games these season, he should be freed, he is not a reliable player. He hardly play 8 consecutive matches with consistency in performance. Such player cannot win a trophy for a club. Arteta needs to reorganize this team and build like minds.

I agree with you but Arsenal will not sign Declan Rice for that price tag placed on him by West Ham. Rice has been valued at about 100 million euros. No way Arsenal is paying that for him. And if I'm being honest, Rice is not worth that much, not even in todays market. The highest Rice should cost is 50 million.
He is a player that have achieved nothing in football, be it individually or with his team. He is a good player, but that's all he is. I cant say Rice is a generational talent. I cant even call him the best in his position. If players like Rice are worth over 100 million then how much will players like Kimmich be worth?
I would really love him to go to Arsenal but not for that outrageous price.

I have checked Manchester City the recent records during 2023 and i was found fantastic records for them at home that from total 15 home matches in all competitions since January Manchester City have won all of it which mean they had 100% winning rates with only conceded 7 goals and this records probably makes most people believe Manchester City will be able to beat Real Madrid today

Guardiola has been complaining about premier league schedules because this makes Manchester City have to play at least 2 matches each week and this also caused Manchester City players will feel fatigue and from fitness condition Real Madrid has slightly better because last week on Laliga against Getafe Ancelotti was played some of Madrid reserved players and for this match Manchester City has odds @1.54 and this showed they are the favourite and hopefully Manchester City will showing strong mentally and win this match

I still struggle to understand how people underrate Madrid in this much.
I understand that Man City is the better team but that doesn't mean they will easily win Madrid, that's if they win at all.
Madrid are used to these kind of pressure. They live for nights like this. Madrid don't need to be the better team before they win these type of games. Last season PSG was a better team than Madrid, Man City was a better team than Madrid, but Madrid won all those matches.
All Madrid needs is hope. As far as their hope is still alive they will be able to hurt you.
Man City needs to bury the chances they get or else they would be the ones crying tonight.
1447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: May 16, 2023, 10:31:40 PM
Valencia is now increasingly away from the relegation zone after last week they managed to beat hosts Celta Vigo with a narrow score of 1-2. Maybe I forgot to mention this a little, but I think it's a good result for Valencia to keep advancing from the clutches of the red zone. Celta Vigo is still finding it difficult to secure their victory and now their position is also quite threatened because Valencia is right under them. But it seems that this week there will be no definite victory for Valencia because they will be against Real Madrid and it seems that their position is still not safe enough if several of the teams below them win.

I will so much love Valencia to remain in La Liga, I'd hate to see them relagate. Valencia has been a club I liked since when Villa and David Silva played there so I have always had this sentimental view towards them. They may be four places away from the relagation zone butvt they're only three points away. What's more difficult is that they still have to okay Real Madrid and Real Betis. I'm not saying they can't get points from these teams but it's going to be very difficult for them to do so. Even Mallorca can hurt them.
The good news is the teams below them won't also win all their matches, they'll definitely drop points too.
I hope Valencia makes it.

Yes, it seems Real madrid wants to bring Kylian Mbappe to La liga but it is still not certain if and when a possible deal can be made. Rumours have it that a move to Newcastle or Chelsea for Neymar is likely to happen, I think he will fit in Chelsea's style of play and will strengthen their attack, but if Mbappe really wants to win the ballon d’or, he should play for Real Madrid, English football is very challenging and he may sustain a lot of injuries playing in the EPL. Anyway, I really don’t think PSG will be letting him leave in the summer with Messi and Neymar also rumored to be leaving soon, losing all three players at same time will be a huge loss to the club.

I saw an article today that say Madrid wants Mbappe, Bellingham and Alphonsus Davis in the transfer window.
These are all top rated players that are going to be difficult to sign even for a club like Madrid. The easierst of the three is going to be Jude Bellingham. The player has already agree to join Madrid and Dortmund are not going to fight to keep him as far Madrid meets their asking price. Bellingham will cost nothing less than 80 million which is not going to be too much of an issue for Madrid.

As for Mbappe, if he really wants to play for Madrid anytime soon then he made a mistake signing a new contract with PSG last summer because now they own him and would not release him to Real Madrid anytime soon. I don't even think PSG would be moved if he hands in a transfer request but I don't think things will get to that level.

Davis, as far as I know is not leaving Bayern Munich. If Madrid sucdessed in signing Davis then the rumors of Mendy been on sale will no longer just be a rumor.
1449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: May 16, 2023, 08:43:39 PM
I agree that Ancelotti is a smart coach and he got lots of experience in the champions league but on the other side, we have Guardiola while he is one the most famous coaches in the world and the team he is coaching is in good form and they can easily beat Real Madrid to be in the final match for the first time.

I agree with everything you said aside the fact where you said they can "easily" best Real Madrid.
Manchester City is an in-form team with probably the best manager in the world but they are not going to beat Real Madrid easily. It's going to be a difficult match for both teams. Madrid is not new with this kind of pressure. They live for moments like this. Things were exactly like this last season when Madrid knocked out Man City at this stage of the competition. Real Madrid don't give up and they don't believe anybody is better than them. They are fearful and they know it, so they use it.

People don't give Pep the credit he deserves and that's understandable, but I know they will learn. When they talk about Experience they only talk about Ancelotti. Pep is also a very experienced manager too and he can win anybody on his day.
1450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: May 16, 2023, 08:31:26 PM
The chances of Inter Milan going to the final is high but for this match ending with a draw I think it's going to be difficult considering the performance of AC Milan at the moment even at away. The 2 goals advantages that Inter Milan has will definitely see them move to the finals because it's very difficult for them to be defeated with a 2 goals margin in front of their fans and they are currently in good form too because they have scored more than two goals and won in the last six of their games I believe they will end up winning the game 1:0 or be defeated by AC Milan 0:1.

I think I will agree with you that the game will end in a draw.
The game seems balanced with both teams not really showing signs of winning. Inter has had more goal scoring opportunities bit they have not been able to score. So it's looks certain that Milan will make it through to the final. This doesn't look like a match where there will be a lot of surprises. Just like you said, the best that can happen is a 1-0 win by either team and I tip Inter to win if there's going to be a winner. But I'm still sticking with a draw. Both teams have had just one shot on target each.
Congrats to Inter for making it to the UCL final after so many years
1451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 16, 2023, 06:44:31 AM
Not until bayern will get draw or lose in the remaining matches.

Bayern

- Schalke
- Leipzig
- Koln

Dortmund

- gladbach
- augsburg
- Mainz

The schedule between bayern and dortmund are equal at this moment. Dortmund and bayern will have important matches.

Dortmund vs gladbach , Bayern vs leipzig

That must become key matches for both of clubs. It's hard to determine which will be winning the trophy. The draw or lose will erase the hope to get trophy this season.

The tougher match is the Bayern-Leipzig match. Leipzig is one of the teams in the league that tries to stand toe to toe with Bayern even if Bayern wins most of the time. It is very possible that Bayern can drop points against Leipzig, but I don't think will. Bayern have worked hard to be at the top of the table. They have 0vercome many struggles like inconsistency and other in team crisis, they are not going to throw this opportunity away.
And even if Bayern drops point against Leipzig, I cant be certain Dortmund can win all their matches. I hope they do but I don't trust them. So I see Bayern remaining at the top till the end of the season.
1452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Conference League 2022/23 Season on: May 15, 2023, 11:32:54 PM
Looking at the remaining teams in the Conference League, I see West Ham United as the serious favourites. I watched the matches played by Fiorentina, I liked them too. They beat Sivasspor by playing well. West Ham United could win this trophy if they take it seriously. Other teams are the average teams of Europe. I don't see a team that stands out. There is not much difference between them.

Is West Ham not also an average team in Europe?
They are all teams that are on the the same level, none of them stands out presently. Fiorentina, Basel and West Ham might be a little higher than AZ Alkmaar but they are all on the same level.
Fiorentina is even a more recognized club in Europe than West Ham. Then if we use current form Fiorentina is in a relatively better form than West Ham. West Ham are in a very poor form domestically. Basel is also a team that deserves some respect. They won Fiorentina in the first leg away from home, that should be applauded.

My point is, they are all average European teams so any one of them has a chance of winning the conference league.
1453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: May 15, 2023, 10:46:11 PM
The advantage Roma captured by a 1-0 win is important of course. However I still don't see this score much safe for them at the same time. Because we are talking about another dedicated team like Leverkusen under Xabi Alonso's management. I believe in them fully about not giving up until the final whistle in the second leg. They have shown this dedication example so far in the tournament many times you know. The first leg wasn't a one-sided match either. Leverkusen were just not having a good day to make use of the chances.

But in Germany we could see a very interesting scenario. Leverkusen seem to be focused on the Europa League more now so I expect them to be well-prepared for Roma. I think Roma will try to play more defensive this time especially while Mourinho is managing the team. Leverkusen had better play more efficient this time.

Leverkusen have to be very careful while playing Roma in the second leg.
Like you said, Roma will be kind of defensive and Leverkusen will attack a lot. Mourinho is used to that pattern of football.
He can defend all night and make used of the little chances he gets. Roma have players to play that kind of football too. So while Leverkusen is attacking and looking for a way to cancel the deficit goal they have, they should also be careful of how Roma can hurt them.
Its going to be a very interesting match because these are two exciting teams that are very focused on the Europa league.
1454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 15, 2023, 10:38:42 PM
Liverpool's high level of performance continues to impress me but what a pity that they are able to do this quite late in the season. Otherwise their look in the standings would have been much more different than this. However I still appreciate their high effort to be a part of the Champions League groups now. Considering the number of mistakes Manchester United have made recently I think Liverpool deserve top four more than them.

Manchester United have had a big handicap as well though. They played many matches without their critical centre-backs due to injuries. They didn't have anyone to rely on as much as Varane and Martinez of course. But they still have a missing match as well hence they had better take advantage of the situation. All of their remaining matches are winnable ones:

They are against Bournemouth (away), Chelsea (home) and Fulham (home).

Both Manchester United and Newcastle are I uncomfortable positions. The advantage they both have is that they have a game less than Liverpool. So if they can win two out of three of those games then they will be safe.
I doubt that both of them will qualify. I have the feeling that one of them will slip up and Liverpool will overtake them.
Liverpool play Aston Villa next then they play Southampton on the final league day. These are two matches that Liverpool will win in the current form that they're in. So since Liverpool is not dropping any form , Its left for both Newcastle and Manchester United not to also drop form.
1455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 15, 2023, 05:17:24 PM
Rumors have been rising lately that Chelsea may sign Neymar and Kane. There are thoughts that both players are unhappy in the teams they are in. When we look at this type of news, we can say that there is a very high possibility that Kane will be transferred to another team this year. Neymar's situation is a little more uncertain. But if Chelsea manages to add these two players to their squad at the same time, they can make their fans forget the bad season they had this year. These two football players are quality players who can enrich the offensive options Chelsea need.

I read here a while ago when someone said Neymar is not good for Chelsea. Neymar is exactly the king of winger Chelsea needs. A winger that can create chances and also score a lot of goals. Harry Kane is also the kind of player Chelsea needs as a striker. They need a natural striker that is always reliable to score goals when needed.
If Chelsea can manage to sign both players then their attack has been settled The bad news about these players is they both get injured a lot. Neymar being the worst of the two when injuries are concerned.

But all these are just talks because both these players would most likely not choose Chelsea are their next destination because Chelsea is not in the champions league. They are not even in the Europa league.  These are top level players that would want to play at the top level of football, unfortunately, Chelsea can't give them that.
1456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: May 15, 2023, 05:07:15 PM
I do agree with it. Haaland was changing everything in the club. The came of haaland was also making manchester city become even stronger than before. Im very glad to see that city has been evolving this much but let's see whether it will able to beat real madrid in the second leg or not.
Manchester city has become favorite in the second leg and it's caused by city has very good record in the second leg.

I really hope history does not repeat itself again this time around. Real Madrid won Manchester in the second leg last season when everybody thought Manchester City would win Madrid in the second leg but the reverse was the case.
The difference is Man City never had a top striker then but they do now. Last reason, Man City had a lot of chances that were begging for a top striker to finish.
If Man City create enough chances for Halland then Madrid will be in a lot of  trouble. Another thing Man City needs to do is be very tight in defense and find a way to stop Vinicius. Vinicius gets a lot of praise, but I believe he doesn't get enough credit. Madrid hardly win games when Vinicius is having a bad game.
1457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: May 14, 2023, 09:44:20 PM
Of course they are coming back from the collapse of last season and returning the league champions is a natural thing for now. So they tried to return to being king of Spain after being destroyed in the previous season. Adi is natural. But I thought before, with the state of player spending Barcelona have done, they would be able to talk a lot in Europe, but I was wrong. After I think about it, maybe it's not the time yet. So it looks like they need a longer process to advance to Europe. Xavi is unlikely to perform in a year this season, maybe next season. They haven't quite had the mentality after their experienced players left and retired.

Rebuilding is a process. It's not going to happen in one year. Last year when Xavi took over they finish the season without a trophy. This season they finished the season with two trophies. We can clearly see the improvement in the team and also in the management. The previous management did ridiculous deals and signed many unnecessary expensive player, but this management is different. Things are even more difficult for this new management because they have to sign top quality players for very low amounts because the club in a financial ruin, a ruin caused by the dealings of the previous management.
If Barcelona get the players they want in this summer transfer window they will most likely compete in Europe except they suffer injuries again as they did this season.
1458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: May 14, 2023, 01:00:26 PM
It must be appreciated indeed that Xavi is able to improve Barcelona's performance slowly and it hasn't fully returned to the way Barcelona used to be and even all of that requires a long process.
Barcelona is now almost certain to get the La Liga title, but if you look at Barcelona's overall performance, it is still very disappointing, especially on the European stage, there is not much that Barcelona can do when they are unable to qualify from the UCL group and lose in the Europa League.
The matter of being able to get the La Liga title this season is inseparable from the lack of meaningful competition from rivals so that Barcelona is very comfortable at the top of the standings without any pressure from other teams.

I get very disappointed when I see people try to undermine the work that Barcelona has done this season in the league with the excuse of "lack of meaningful competition". Tf is that? Do you watch La Liga at all?
Barcelona fought hard for that league. The believe that there is no competition in La Liga is so flawed. Barcelona poured their hearts out to win La Liga, it wasn't due to any lack of meaningful competition.
What spoiled Barcelona's season was injuries at the most crucial time. Against Man United, about five of their key first eleven players were injured, same thing when they played Madrid in the second leg of the copa del rey.

You guys claim there is no competition in La Liga but three differnt teams have won the La Liga in the last three season. How many teams have won the EPL in the last three season?

Sunday's transfer gossip:
England midfielder Jude Bellingham reportedly rejected a move from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester City as he did not want to join a 'plastic club'. Very interesting opinion of this player about Manchester City. Do you agree with his opinion?  Grin
Bellingham might have snubbed Manchester City for Real Madrid but I don't think he actually said Man City is a "plastic club". It will be very unprofessional of him to say so and if he did, he is very wrong. Manchester City is the most successful club in England for the last 10 years and they have a bright future ahead. People keep seeing Man City as this small club that have no history, but they fail to forget that they're writing their history right in front of our eyes.
It is only rational that he picked Real Madrid over Manchester City. Who doesn't want to play for Madrid?

Real Madrid are looking to sell French full-back Ferland Mendy, 27, with Arsenal on alert. Real is creating a very strong team for next season.
Mendy is a very good player and I also don't believe Real Madrid want to sell him. He's one of the best defenders they have so I don't see a reason for them to put him up for sale. Mendy and Alaba are the best defenders Real Madrid have at the moment. I don't believe these rumors.
1460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 12, 2023, 01:50:17 PM
In a number of defeats in their last matches, in my opinion, this can already shows that Tottenham will never be able to get into the top four of the standings. if you want to qualify for the UCL, at least Tottenham must be able to secure 9 points first to be able to shift the positions of Manchester United and Newcastle, but I think with the remaining three matches it will be difficult for Tottenham to qualify. get the full 9 points. Aston Villa will not make the game easy for Tottenham and on the other hand, Liverpool are currently in a stable form, managing to win games over their opponents in recent matches. If indeed Tottenham wants to chase the top four this season, let's see how far Mason struggles.

In my opinion Newcastle will finish the season in that third position and Liverpool will finish second.
Newcastle might have lost to Arsenal but they will not drop out of  the top 4.
Manchester United on the other hand will most likely drop out of the top four and with how good Liverpool are recently, they will easily be in the 4th position. Liverpool might even overtake Newcastle and make it to third.
Tottenham are too inconsistent to overtake Liverpool. Manchester United or Newcastle so they will playing the Europa league next season.
