This was certainly a performance which was not expected from Leverkusen. Against Stuttgart, they really should have got 3 points. After all, Stuttgart is a team that is in the relegation zone right now. This was supposed to be an easy match for Leverkusen. They had been performing well before a few weeks from now. But certainly, the current form of them is not very promising.

For both teams 3 points would have been important. For Stuttgart to get out of the relegation zone and for Leverkusen to get into the zone of the international places. But the performance of Stuttgart and Leverkusen was quite mixed in the last weeks. So I am not surprised that they only managed a draw. But that it happened through penalty goals is a bit unusual.

As you said, we saw a mixed type of performance from both of the teams. And it was not a big surprise to be honest that neither of the teams actually was able to score. Both of them scored but through penalties. I genuinely believe we saw a lack of intent and a lack of quality finishing as well.

I still believe that Leverkusen is actually going to finish in the top 6. They are chest behind in terms of goal difference. So it is very much achievable for them.

The relegation situation of this League is very interesting right now. It is still not sure who will stay. I believe Schalke might be able to actually get out of the relegation zone.

Leipzig managed to beat Werder Bremen with a narrow score of 2-1 and this made Leipzig succeed in shifting Union Berlin's position in the standings. From the start Leipzig dominated the match and they also often created chances, but in the first half the score did not change, it was still the same 0-0. But in the second half, Leipzig finally had additional motivation after falling behind to Werder Bremen and towards the end of the game Leipzig managed to score 2 goals which made their victory at home. This fight, according to what I predicted previously posted. it's just that, I didn't expect that Leipzig would fall behind in the 70th minute. I don't think Leipzig would be able to turn things around or at least the game would end in a draw. but in the 87th minute, Willi Orban was able to equalize and right in injury time, Dominik Szoboszlai scored the winning goal for Leipzig. well, what a victory that can not be separated from luck. speaking based on statistics, both in the first and second half Leipzig completely dominated the game. even technically, Leipzig is much better than the opposing team.

Previously I assumed that Leipzig would score 2 goals first. but what happened, on the contrary, was that it was Bremen who broke into his opponent's goal first. whatever it was, as a result RB Leipzig was able to shift the ranking occupied by Union Berlin.  and yes, Nkuku became the Man Of The Match in this match even though he didn't score a goal but contributed 2 assists which became a win for their team.

This week, Leipzig will challenge Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena. whether this match will provide an interesting battle, or can Marco Rose's squad beat Bayern Munich's run to win the league trophy. very interesting.

The best teams in the Bundesliga so far are Bayern Munich and Dortmund. But apart from these two teams, the rest of the teams have been able to perform brilliantly, and have been fighting each other brilliantly. But I think there should be 5 to 6 big teams in every league so that the rivalries accumulate.

Not always when you looking back in the last years , but this time and season its very different and interesting.
I still have hope in the next game Bayern Munich against Leipzig and that Munich will be playing a draw or even better losing this match.
Also i am happy that Frankfurt also have won there game against Mainz with a good performance and goals.

This is obviously very unfortunate but indeed Xabi is also quite busy managing a strategy how to benefit them in the Bundesliga and Europa League in this case especially this is Xabi's first experience for Leverkusen.

They have worse goal statistics , which means that they will lose any comparison between them and Union Berlin and Leipzig and they are three points and four points behind with two games left, respectively. I have issues detecting the tricky part here that makes you think Freiburg has equal chances. Please explain it to me.

I agree with you because no matter what, with 2 defeats in the last 2 weeks, it seems that they have to give up the Champions League this season, especially considering that there are only two matches left and they still have to face Wolfsburg and Frankfurt, which of course makes it difficult.
On the other hand, I am also not convinced to see Union or Leipzig lose 2 times in a row in the rest of their matches because this is clearly a chance, although it is still possible but difficult.

There has been a serious level of drop in Leverkusen's form in the Bundesliga these days. However this is mainly related to their focusing on the Europa League of course. Because winning its title will help them join the Champions League. They don't have this chance in the Bundesliga currently as you know already. Hence I don't find Leverkusen's choice of focus bad. But they need to work on one thing from now on for the benefit of themselves. It is not to give up on the Bundesliga while there are 2 weeks remaining.

Because they have lost the sixth place to Wolfsburg after that point loss. They share the points now but this doesn't look good for Leverkusen side anyway. Even if they eliminate Roma they should improve their focus level about their remaining 2 Bundesliga matches to secure the sixth place.

The Bundesliga is interesting. Dortmund and Bayern are not the only teams that make the league interesting.
Leipzig, Bayern Leverkusen, and Frankfurt are teams that also make the league interesting.
But if by interesting you mean "fighting for the league then you are still wrong because somehow Bayern always wins the league. It's not a competition if a particular team is about to win it for the 9th straight time.
Credits to Bayern Munich for being very consistent but I have to say I am disappointed at Dortmund. They were really close this season. Like the league was already in their hands, all they needed to do was be consistent and win six remaining matches, but they could not.

There are legendary teams of the past years in the relegation zone; Schalke, Stuttgart and Herta Berlin... There are two weeks until the league ends and Schalke will play against Eintracht Frankfurt and Leipzig. I think they will play two tough matches. Frankly, it is impossible for them to get full points from these two games. However, they may get an opportunity to stay in the league with play-of matches, because Stutgart's remaining matches are with tough opponents. I think Bochum will beat Herta Berlin and gain 3 points and will largely guarantee staying in the league.

Well, I honestly hope they are going down. Obviously I am a BVB fan .
Them getting a beatdown from Bayern was sad and sweet at the same time. There was never much hope they would steal any points there, but this performance was just embarrassing. So much for believing they can help Dortmund. 

Glad Bochum took the chance and overtook Schalke again.
Schalke's last 2 games are Frankfurt at home and in Leipzig. Leipzig will be an easy loss but vs Frankfurt they have a chance maybe. Bochum is playing at Hertha next, the worst team in the league. I pray they win open a bigger gap to Schalke.

This weekend will decide the championship. How wonderful it would be if Bayern loses points and BVB wins. But looking at Dortmund's weak away performances and Bayern's strong last games I think there is a medium chance Bayern can celebrate their next championship this weekend. 

If they both win of course the decider will be next weekend but since Bayern plays at Cologne, who is in nowhere land in the table, they will win this one easy and become champion.

For Schalke, this is a difficult situation. It will be really hard for them to get out of the relegation zone, and the chances seem very small even if they try hard. Looking back at their games and the number of losses they have suffered, they need a major change to turn things around.

I don't see it in your view, especially when luck is at work, and don't feel happy for Schalke and sorry for VfB Stuttgart yet. The two clubs could end up with relegation at the end of the season, it's early to decide now. I still understand VfB Stuttgart, though disappointing but it's Schalke that disappoints me the most, this is sad.

They are only leading VfB Stuttgart with a point, I don't know how this is not going to be luck that will help them, but that's if they deserve it.

With all the assists and attempts, I keep hearing the commentator mention Nkunku's name a hundred times, I was hoping and praying he had just one goal and I would have felt satisfied that his hard work paid off. Still on Nkunku, with his quality of play, this young chap will certainly move out during the summer transfer window as rumor has it. On the other hand, assuming  Werder Bremen got a draw, they would have been safe. Their only hope now is on Schalke.

Leverkusen's performance against Stuttgart was not good. Not only this match, but Leverkusen's performance has also been poor in the past several matches. Even against Roma, they were not able to perform well. Even the Leverkusen team has managed to win only one of the last 5 matches in the Bundesliga. Actually, Leverkusen just did great it's just Stuttgart is just at an equal level as Leverkusen, as you can see Leverkusen got 12 goals to Stuttgart's 9 goals and the stats were just the same as Stuttgart, for me even if the Stats were the same you can not expect more to these 2 teams the season is nearing to end and I don't really think that they will likely do their best in this kind of situation, the thing is Leverkusen might also be underestimating Stuttgart in this situation, but anyway they likely don't want to go up the standings and just move on to another season and find a better players and get ready for the next season,

Has no fear for what? Missing points is the biggest fear from the players of dortmund and bayern right now. Missing points meant no trophy this season. It's very hard to say if bayern and dortmund will be losing at the same time. I hope that leipzig will be creating a miracle for dortmund. This will be helping dortmund to get bundesliga trophy from bayern. Im really boring to see bayern is always winning the league again and again. It's the time for dortmund to take bundesliga from bayern this season.
It will be the end for bayern if the club gets draw or even lose against leipzig. I consider leipzig as a strong team that can't be underrated right now. I hope that timo werner will be on fire. It will be helping dortmund to take trophy as soon as possible.

matchday 33 will be a little challenge for Bayern Munich and Dortmund in my opinion Bayern Munich their opponent will likely be Leipzig, but Maybe Leipzig will be too kind to give this game to Bayern Munich but I surely doubt it because Leipzig is at the 3rd position and their points are 60 right now 1 point ahead of Union Berlin, so 1 mistake and they are likely to fall down the 4th position, while Dortmund might have a not so struggle to match up because Augsburg are likely a team that may Surprise them but I really doubt that Augsburg could push through Dortmund, now that Dortmund got a great performance at the moment,

Just leipzig and köln left for Bayern, and we all know that they are good enough to beat those two teams easily in normal situations. I can't guarantee a win of course because it's football and sometimes we are wrong, but I feel like that is not going to be an issue at all, they will get a win. I think the best thing we can do at this point is to make sure that the world continues as we can, and that should be a lot normal.

We are not going to end up with anything bad or anything, but we need to make sure that we can get more firm grasp of the situation at hand, which could be something more careful, like not betting huge amounts on Bayern wins, I think they will, but no reason to risk it that way at all, we can move further along.

Right now it is hard to predict who's going to win here the lack of determination of some teams to win will likely become their lost, and I really don't want that to happen for them, Bundesliga is pretty much an interesting sports but likely I would stay away from betting for now and hope for the best, I am just going to ready for the next season of the Bundesliga, for me either for Bayern Munich and Dortmund to win the Bundesliga I am going to be OK with it,

Stuttgart - Leverkusen was an important game for both sides and I was talking about a probability of a draw at the end of this game. It ended by a 1-1 draw as well and I didn't like Leverkusen's effort quite much. They were really inadequate in the first half but there was some improvement in the second half. It was still not enough to win this game I'm afraid.

Both goals came by penalties. Stuttgart needed a win rather than that but it is still better than losing of course. Besides Schalke lost to Bayern Munich you know so Stuttgart were still able to get closer to them in the standings by this result. The competition for the play-out position between them will be quite tight on the remaining two game weeks.

It's strange that yesterday the bookie actually favored Stuttgart to win over Leverkusen and I think that's quite reasonable considering the list of injured Leverkusen players. But I thought that even though there were these obstacles Leverkusen should have been able to win this match, but indeed the match ended more in a draw and actually that was quite good than not getting even one additional point.

This result has made Leverkusen fail to replace Wolfburg in the standings and it seems that Leverkusen will try again in the match next week because they do not want to lose their place for the upcoming European league qualifiers and they must qualify considering that even now they are still active in the European league competition and are so close with the finals.

Yeah somehow it seems that Leverkusen has lost it's big momentum now again. Like you said, their last 4 games were not a great success anymore. I also think though that they are not playing that badly. I mean in those 4 games there was not big loss with many goals difference or something like that all of those games were pretty close and with a little more luck Bayer Leverkusen could have won most of them or at least get a draw like in the match against Roma. Leverkusen is now on position 7 in the Bundesliga table again, but they have the same amount of points as Wolfsburg and they are only 1 goal behind them. So they can still reach rank 6 pretty much on their own.

That is not an excuse in my opinion, inconsistency doesn't prove anything that they are focused on Europa League, they are just finding it hard to level up their games against other teams. They can try hard and make it to the final in Europa but what if they lose in the final and couldn't make it here in Bundelsilga It is better for Leverkusen to work on their style and move up, the least they should do is to remain in the top 5 and then channel the remaining energy on Europa, this will enable them to appear in the Champions League, the Europa League and the Bundesliga by next season.
