1441  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: [GUIDE] BitFury Miner Support/Tuning on: September 29, 2013, 05:24:00 PM
I have changed R01F to 2,26k ohm and gained about 4-5 GH/s only. Now I'm at about 51-52, before something around 47 GH/s. best.cnf is the same as before (between 54 and 56 depending on error rate). I think something went wrong, but what?

What voltage do you get?
Where can I measure it? (Multimeter available)

1444  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Bitfury ASIC sales in EU and Europe on: September 22, 2013, 11:55:36 AM
Damn! Now I wish I had bought some more than 2 early October H-Boards.

1447  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: the how much btc/fiat have you lost mining thread! end of 2013 edition on: September 20, 2013, 04:25:45 PM
bitfury: Starter kits will BTC break-even maybe because they included 2 h-cards. Else there would be NO chance for break even. I also planned to buy some more h-cards later but not at these prices. I don't see any reasonable hardware at the moment. There are only two groups gaining profit: resellers, manufactors

I think you should clearify your refund policy. It's confusing, already described last page.

How trustable is bitmine.ch
Hard to say, I think you have to be careful:

After BFL and Avalon I won't pay without cc or paypal anymore.

2) The refund policy is on the website.  Please visit virtualminingcorp.com

http://virtualminingcorp.com/shop1/index.php?id_cms=3&controller=cms&content_only=1
no mention of preorders

Their refund policy is really confusing.

Product description:
This product is covered by our Limited Replacement Only Return Policy and our DOA Policy.

Limited Replacement Only Return Policy:
Return for refund within: non-refundable
Return for replacement within: 10 days
A new, unopened product can be returned within 10 days of the invoice date or shipping date whichever is later for a full refund.

And the best chapter is at the end:
FINAL SALES RETURN POLICY--NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES/REPLACEMENTS
No Refunds
No Exchanges
No Replacements
No Returns

Another red flag:
They deleted my posting about their ASUS SSD picture. I don't think they are allowed to use it.

offer cc/paypal payment and there won't be any further discussion if it's a scam or not.
easy as that.
1454  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitburner Fury - Hashrate Protection on: September 17, 2013, 02:56:11 PM
I don't think anyone will pay for delays due to customs.
1455  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitburner Fury - now for sale on: September 15, 2013, 09:56:37 PM
yep, no chance for break even. mining is dead. buy some coins instead.
1456  Local / Biete / Re: [Bite] Bitfury Asic Miner 168 GH/s (56 chips) on: September 15, 2013, 01:50:12 PM
runde 7.000 €, zu teuer.
1457  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: TECHNOBIT S-HASH minig board and Bitfury October delivery chip distribution on: September 12, 2013, 08:09:59 PM
software adjustable voltage would be nice.
1458  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: PSA: Do NOT buy Bitfury BF1 USB Miner - It will not ROI. on: September 12, 2013, 01:11:06 PM
I don't think any product will achieve a lot more than break-even. It's quite the opposite, we have to hope it will break-even ever.
Why? -> No manufactor will sell any kind of money printing machine if they expects more gain from using themselve. Their selling price is what they expect to mine with + a bit more.

Bitfury delivered more or less in time but they are quite the same! We are just lucky we got 2 h-boards instead of 1 because of their failure. If we got just one single h-board (25 GH/s) nobody will have a chance to achieve break-even ever.
There are 2 winners only: manufactors and resellers
1459  Local / Biete / Re: Bitfury Starter Kit 45 Gh/s ~50 watt Verbrauch passiv gekühlt on: September 09, 2013, 09:08:43 PM

reservation queue = end of already paid ones

Quote
Preorder (paid) queue = you pay now and your place in the delivery queue is guaranteed
Reservation (free) queue = you pay only when the miner is ready to be assembled, place in the delivery queue is not guaranteed
