1441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: May 25, 2017, 03:16:04 AM
Clearly if you analyze big and new alts yes they do have the power to battle against bitcoin network, they have the chance to beat up bitcoin if and only if big  investors and some companies will push to go for good and better projects
Yeah I agree, the alts have the power to come over the Bitcoin. I think there is no such difference in the Bitcoin and the alts; the only thing that makes it different is that the bitcoin is the pioneer it came first and the alts have copied it. If the alts facilitate the users better than the Bitcoin they may be more successful.
1442  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Indian markets are leading with ~$400 gap. Arbitrage trading possibilities on: May 24, 2017, 08:48:48 PM
The price difference between the Indian trading platform and all other exchanges shows the emerging bitcoin market demand in India. Similar situation prevailed in India during the days of demonetization. May be Asian countries make advancement in the growth of digital currency by the coming days.
Yes India is in the list of those countries that are accepting and adopting the bitcoin rapidly. India being one of the top countries of the world in the field of the Information Technology have a great acceptance to the technological revolutions and I guess that after Japan India may be the next country to legalize the Bitcoin.
1443  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Earning with BTCs? on: May 24, 2017, 07:44:44 PM
Investing on ICO is a good way to make money. And Trading also gives you good money in long term. But you should spend some time in trading and learn the methods in trading. Once you get experience in trading then you no need any other source to increase your BTC. with doing trading you can make bitcoins.
There is a strategy to make definite profit with the investments of ICO. It is investing with in ICO in early days of its introduction. We can see many altcoin projects are providing heavy discounts in early days. Making use of it must be guaranteeing some decent profits, still we must look for concepts of that altcoin project. Because there are altcoins which did get heavy dump on the first day of listing in exchanges.
Check the concept first or their white paper so you will not have a doubt to that project. Research and studying first is the most effective way to make profits in ICO projects because now a days a lot of ICO projects are in the market and it is hard to determine what is the best so it is best to do study first.

No matter how promising a certain project is, it all depends on how they market their project, whether or not they are backed by wealthy individuals to push their market, etc. It has happened before that quite a promising project has been covered under a thick layer of dust due to the lack of marketing and market movers supporting them. From there it's quite easy to consider investing in ICO's to be somewhat of a gamble.
Yes in today’s world no matter what you are selling or what the quality is but if you have a good marketing strategy you can do better from those who have a good quality but lack of marketing. Therefore before launching a project it will be good to have a proper work done on the marketing job.
1444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is betting a good choice for a newbie? on: May 23, 2017, 08:37:58 PM
Well, I am not so sure about choosing the gambling as the best way to invest money for a newbie, looking for a stable income. It is true that gambling is an easy choice because it doesn't involve any special effort, but there are many other options to invest your hard earned money. In any case, it is not so bad to learn and be well informed about pros and cons of your future investment decision.
I feel it in a different way, when you are new to the bitcoin's world ( newbie ) you want to take the fun enjoyment and the access to all the sites and features. Gambling is like the biggest thing we can do with bitcoins since the sites are anonymous, don't ask for proofs and pay immediately as we withdraw.

It is true that we lose a lot when we do gambling but the fact cannot be denied that we all who even lost too much, enjoyed a lot too.
1445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: May 23, 2017, 08:18:03 PM
It can't really be predicted but anything can happen. Though, one thing I am sure of is that the players and investors in the bitcoin community won't want that to happen. I may be wrong though, cause from the look of things, some altcoins are beginning to gain some grounds which I am sure bit coin price is one of the driving factors but what I can't say is the other factors that may as well be driving them and how strong those factors are, compared to bitcoin's effect on them.
What you refer to players and investors of Bitcoin won't make it happen at all. You know why? Because Bitcoin traders are also Altcoin traders in general, when they see Altcoin as some kind of short term profit taking cryptocurrency they see Bitcoin as a long term investment. In general it would be hard for them to even manipulate the price of Altcoin in which Bitcoin is at now replacing a ruling king is hard to be done. Bitcoin took years to be where it is now, I don't see any scenarios on which an Altcoin will share the spotlight.
Yes, it took a long time for the bitcoin to reach to place where it is today. Many of our fellows think that it is easy to replace the bitcoin but in reality on ground it is not. With the increasing price of the bitcoin and the comparison of the alts will not work. I think in future the alts will be keeping the Bitcoin as a store of value for them.
1446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Bitcoin ever replace conventional money? on: May 23, 2017, 07:51:25 PM
No, because bitcoin isn't prepared to be used as conventional money. Bitcoin transactions take too much time to be approved and in daily life we need to confirm our transactions instantly, otherwise it's inviable for us.
Bitcoin isn't being used to pay cheap items too, it's a big problem to adopt the currency to replace conventional money.
Yes,  for more domestic items to be purchased we need a prompt payment, the merchandisers accept the cash easily for the petty things that we purchase in the market for our day to day life such as vegetables, meat and fruit. I am sure none of the mentioned dealer will prefer to accept the bitcoin for a small quantity of sales.
1447  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will BTC be at $5,000? on: May 23, 2017, 08:29:06 AM
This is just my own simple assessment. Around August we should be at least $2500 and we will end 2017 at $3000 or even more. 2018 crypto market will continue to grow but I doubt we can reach $5000 right there. So maybe by 2019 we are at $5000. But who knows. Maybe by 2020 we are already at $10,000 per bitcoin as the supply is getting scarce.
Mate we are feeling so because the price of bitcoins is only rising right now but I am sure it will fall a bit too in coming months and hence a price of 5000$ will take around 2 years at least and the best part is bitcoins is not setting new averages, I mean $600 seems a bit low now and average would be $1500 if it even falls a touch.

Earlier the drop was more than the rise, I really hope it hits 5k soon but not really sure if that would happen any time soon.
1448  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if I buy 3BTC now and forget about them for 10 years??? on: May 22, 2017, 08:15:48 PM
The future of bitcoin looks promising at a moment and if bitcoin survives for next 10 years then you will surely become an millionaire with that amount as just look at the current increase in the price of bitcoins and if it continues then after 10 years may be will witness the price of bitcoin in millions but to be honest its really hard to predict what will be scenario after 10 years.
Yes I agree with you that the future seems positive and everything is going as one can wish. But actually 10 years is a long time and I wonder what would be the state of coins after 10 years, might even die or might even reach sky high prices.
Maybe its smart idea to invest now and once price reaches 3-4k in coming months, years then sell them and buy the bitcoins with the profit you got. This way you would never regret saving them.
1449  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it worth buying bitcoins now? (2000$ /btc) on: May 22, 2017, 07:41:57 PM
I was wondering if it was worth it to buy bitcoins right now at the price of $2000,- /btc.
I can also wait till it drops to maybe 1800$-1900$, but would that make a huge difference?

I'm now just holding my coins, but im not making really good profits as I only have around 0.5BTC
The recent hack news insist me to buy more and more bitcoins ( if you don't know google about the recent virus - Wannacry ) but that been said if the main reason for the spike in the price is the recent hack only then surely the hackers will soon dump their coins and it might be the worst idea investing knowing this.

But if the reason is not just hack but some solid investors then surely its the best time to buy because it won't take any time getting close to 3000$ in coming days with the rate it is climbing.

1451  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you have 1BTC to spent in trading what coins will you invest on: May 14, 2017, 08:48:24 PM
I would prefer investing on Ethereum. ETH has a big potential which is one of the currency i believe can make it big and  "can" take over bitcoin market cap.
Other coins that i would trust my investment on are Monero, Litecoin and maybe Decred. But would like to save up most of my bitcoin since it has better potential than other coins.
I think the price of bitcoin is trading so high, and you can only get a small amount of Etherium with one bitcoin, therefore I will prefer to trade such currency which have a very reasonable price with good potential to increase in the future, and can purchase a good amount of that currency even investing  a small amount of 1BTC.
1452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why altcoin prices down when bitcoin up. on: May 14, 2017, 07:25:21 PM
Yeah, it's true. But not all Altcoins were getting down when bitcoins were raised up in the market. Because some Altcoins were raised up together with Bitcoins it depends to the value needed. Also if we think that when Bitcoin raised up all Altcoins were getting down I think sooner or later other Altcoins have a tendency to die immediately.
Basically some altcoin have even very strong position, they get a strong support by the investors even if the price of bitcoin is increasing, for example Etherium, Dash, ZEC and so many other altcoin have very strong position people are trading them in priority and that is the reason that the price of such altcoins remain as stable even if the price of bitcoin is increasing.
1453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What Altcoins do you want to hold in 2017? on: May 14, 2017, 12:56:04 PM
I am looking into new ones, I mean I already diversified on bunch of coins and I do not think I can find a new coin that would make me as much profit as these but as long as I can find a coin that is new, solves a problem or has a feature that is not available with other coins and not run by some scammy people has trusted developers and is not premined, I think I will buy it.

if you said that you already diversified on bunch of coins then i think you can wait for a while to see the altcoin is increase again because the down price now is because bitcoin price is increase and its give a bad affect for altcoin. i am sure that if you can be patience, you can sell almost all of your coins to make big profit because altcoin will be increase more high than before.
Interestingly the bitcoin price is effecting the price of altcoin too much. As in present time when the price of bitcoin is increasing therefore people are giving preference to bitcoin trading and therefore the price of altcoin are mostly remain as stable or some time decreasing. But when the price of bitcoin become stable then people divert their investment into alt coin and the altcoin price start increasing again.
1454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what price will you sell your BTC, and what will you buy? on: May 14, 2017, 06:40:00 AM
For reaching an all-time high I would say around 2.5k . For me its the right value to invest to another while spending some.
I hope after two or three years people will think of that there was a time when the Bitcoin used to be trade at a very cheap price of 2.5 K. I guess the Bitcoin have a lot more potential to increase its price than that of the current price. I am not spending any of my BTC at the moment because I am waiting for the time it reaches $3000. I am collecting as more as I can at the moment. I hope I am right with my decision.
1455  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: First trade of altcoin, I am on the right direction ? on: May 13, 2017, 08:33:43 PM
As long as you are making money from trading you are on right track, now you need to analyze why you can make profit, from which factors you're making decision to purchase ripple, you can learn while you trade, always learn from every trade you made and now is the right time to trade alt coins because most of the coin is going up
Yes the analysis of one’s self is very important it is basically to analyze the strategy that you are working on.  No matter if you earn or lose but the strategies need to be reviewed at every next business activity that you want to start. The analytical skills are very important for a business person. If your analytical skills are good you will never lose your investment.
1456  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: can I make 100$ in 2-3 month without a base money? on: May 13, 2017, 06:51:38 PM
Without a base amount of begin with it is really hard to make any money online and if you are skilfull enough to be able to provide any sort of service then you could make more than that in a couple of months and infact you could make those kind of money on a daily basis if you are skillful.
I don’t think so. It is not hard at all to make online earnings without any investment. All you need is dedication towards your goals. If you are honest to yourself devoted to your work and ambition and no doubt a smart person to make some smart moves in your life no can stop you from achieving your goals. Always keep in mind that hard work is the key to success.

Why not we emphasize to devs the importance for switching over to self moderated topic so that they can have control over off-posters... Now a days devs do get one extra task to take care.
You are not the first one, already people were suggesting to go for self moderated topic. Could not understand what are blocking devs to open a new topic.

I think this isnot the place for personal attacks and finding fault with eachother. Lets stick to the theme of thread.
we are here to see some good reasonable discussion.Carry on with accussations and clearification. For some of us that is more entertaining  Wink
What to do some people never understand or too ignorant about how this forum works nor how to do one thing in its specified way. But I feel too bad on seeing that you are finding your entertainment here. I guess its time for devs to lock this topic for a SM topic.
1458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: May 12, 2017, 07:50:37 PM
I'm glad because of the bitcoin makes income a second real job in an Office. with trading I can generate about 0.5 btc and could pay for the installment of the motor.

This is why bitcoin is a good source of income whether you do it for part time or not. But I can recommend to OP he should take care of his permanent job and don't leave it while the company is still existing and it doesn't want him to be gone out. It's up only to him on how he can manage his time properly.
I guess many of the people around attached with the btc are those who use the btc activities as a part time activities and believe me it is no hard to manage it. I am currently holding a permanent full time job and beside I am facing no difficulties with managing my BTC activities if it is trading or joining a signature campaign. The earnings for the BTC work as a bonus for me and I am quite satisfied with it.
1459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: May 12, 2017, 03:09:57 PM
The rate of bitcoin is now going to touch $2000 which is unbelievable. No man was not guess that it would grow up at this stage.

The price is now struggling to reach 2000$, Some whales are preventing bitcoin price to touch that price because they want more volume of BTC before it reaches 2K price. That price too will be the boundary for this year.
Yes, there is a possibility that the bitcoin will reach $2000 before the end of this month. Also looking to the acceptance and adoption level of the people and as well as of the governments it can be predicted that the Bitcoin will soon cross the $3000 soon as well. If the china or Russia government approves it as a mean for payments legally the price of the bitcoin will go so far high.
1460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market is going to dump on you at some point on: May 12, 2017, 10:05:39 AM
I think there will not be a correction on altcoin prices. Yes it has been going up steadily overtime but I believe after all the dust settles and bitcoin prices gets back to lower prices (I suppose around 1200 would be normal) and altcoin prices fluctuates a bit more.

There will be at least 50% marketshare of altcoins compared to 50% bitcoin. It was 70%+ just couple months ago. I think it can go even further in time.
