I am the ONLY one showing any backbone. No, you are the only one working against their own interest. Calling him out in such a way won't help you. Dont forget, if pirate doesnt pay bitlane in 14 days (iirc?), he will lose his 5000BTC bet with Vandroiy. Either Pirate is running a scam, and bitlane wont get paid anyhow, or he is legit, and not paying bitline within 14 days will cost pirate a pretty penny. Bitlane doesnt have much to lose from yelling and being his usual noisy self. Pirate may choose to pay him at the very last minute, while everyone else may be paid out tomorrow. Considering that this includes interest up to the payout point (correct?), that would quite a punishment, poor bitlane. Logic 101? anyone? follow up on this. His account is closed so wouldn't get interest. Facts 101? |

While I doubt that he had that much of an impact individually, the climate of the forum may have done so and he certainly contributes to that.
All he had to do was be a MAN and stick to his word. Or you would go crazy and reduce your chances of getting paid in a timely manner? |

Anyway, back on topic, working my way through the lending section - deposit offerings are pretty scarce. Like everyone else I will be looking to park my coins later today if Pirate pays out. I am really hoping you will have some space in either your 1% offering or your Kraken fund. |

I will ask again as I can't find any deadlines for refunds anywhere. Apparently "one week" since a date I don't know. If there's a clear deadline and it's less than a week from now I'm betting. Is there any deadline? or can it be delayed indefinitely as long as Pirate doesn't admit to not going to pay up everybody?

The title confused me too; I'm used to fraction odds! Sorry, I'm really not used to this. What should the title be? I would say something like: "I will match any bet up to 100 BTC that pirate is a fraud" Though I'm no expert and your original title may well be correct. |

At this point (imo) paying out does not make this enterprize anything short of a ponzi. Prove me wrong, please. If he's been operating a ponzi for 8 months and paying out interest from the deposits, where would he make up the short fall from in order to return the funds? |
