1441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rise of Streamers in Online Gambling on: August 11, 2022, 11:41:55 PM
Well never know the truth behind specially if we do see that a certain streamer do make out big bets then it would really be coming into our minds if those funds came from sponsor or just purely came from their own pockets which it is really unlikely because these streamers is doing their job to earn money and not to spend that much on the gambling platform itself. Its not really worth thats why its normal for people to make
out some presumptions that it was sponsored and not theirs even on talking about being rigged or not fair would really be included on someones presumptions.

That was too much for me. I think knowing the truth is just a waste of time. That's not even beneficial to us.

As long as the streamer is showing good content, then people will really watch it. How come it becomes a big deal if they are using sponsored money or not? What it will bring to us if we know where the money will come from?

As long as the site they are showing in the content is reputable, we don't need to be bothered if these streamers are using their own money or not.

It will just add another problem to your mind. That's not a necessary thing to think of. That's a non-sense issue.
1442  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mastering the market movement is what aid profits and not the price. on: August 11, 2022, 11:37:09 PM
As a day trader or a passive trader, most are confused about how to make the best out of the market, and many will always complain of losses during a bear market, meanwhile with the right mastery one can make massive profits in the bear market and this goes further to clarify the fact that market conditions do not have much to.do with your profit maximizing but proper market mastering is what gives profits in whatever market.

Just continue and continue and continue to do traders even if it's losing is the most result. We can't be used on something if we don't do it regularly.

Continuous trading will put a trader in different scenarios and that will be the challenge here.

Mastering the market shouldn't be the term but be used on seeing how the market behaves. Since crypto is volatile, we need to build experience on how to deal with these. Once we progress, we can form a strategy on our own depending on the market situation.
1443  Economy / Gambling / Re: I want to make a telegram live betting group… on: August 10, 2022, 09:56:45 PM
Besides we are in a forum with a whole subforum entirely dedicated to gambling and which is very active, why bother to try to move people from a platform they are already using to another one? Anyone interested in creating a group like this could start a thread about it and many people will be interested in it as long as the tips and the information which was shared in that thread was relevant, so it is a waste of time to try to create a group like that.

Maybe OP wants a real-time discussion and exchange of chats rather than waiting for a reply in a thread that's why it's more convenient for that user to communicate with the use of a messaging application like Telegram. Just checking OP's account status, the user is inactive and has been offline since just a day this thread was created. Maybe OP doesn't really use to interact with the forum thru posting or whatever.

I will disregard that OP might just want to increase the number of users on that group but it's clear on his post that there's no intention of forcing anyone to join the group. OP just asking for some advice too. Just chillax and don't take that as a big deal.

And more importantly, we should just forget this thread now.
1444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Threshold of Loss in Gambling on: August 10, 2022, 09:12:03 PM
it depends on how you feel at the time. This is a feeling that might affect your luck. I agree if you have a strategy like that, if you feel lucky and you are ready then you will continue, when you win you will continue to play, but when you lose once you will stop to keep the initial advantage. This is a management that involves your feelings. the threshold for losses in gambling will also be determined how you can manage your psychology, because if only the threshold is in the form of numbers it will not be optimal and most beginners will not be disciplined to follow it, but when it involves psychology and strong management, then the loss in gambling can be resolved.

If only the majority has that mindset to become responsible and disciplined, then we can gamble all the times without us suffering a heavy consequences.

By becoming responsible and disciplined, it's not just us who will take the benefit but also the people around us since we won't give any problems to them.

Gambling with a set budget is hard to follow and I understand that feeling. But if we learned how to control ourselves and when to consider stop, we are giving ourselves a break to think of something good. When we win, we really want to continue, when we lose, we really want to chase the loss, regardless of the result, there's always a temptation to continue and that's we need to properly addressed on.
1445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: August 10, 2022, 09:02:04 PM
Spence should stop making excuses, he should focus on his fight with Crawford and make sure it will happen his year. There's no reason that they will move when one of them cannot be an undisputed champion, I hope they will not be greedy, it's time to give the fans what we are hoping to see.

I'm not aware that Spence is doing excuses for this fight not to happened. Both sides are even silent.

Are you talking about today's negotiation and Spence is doing excuses? Or you are referring to the previous attempts to organize this fight?

If you are referring to Spence's excuses in today's negotiations, can you provide a link for that? I tried to search for it but found nothing. What I see is only a lack of information about the status of this fight and that article shared above.
1446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 10, 2022, 08:54:03 PM
Agreed if they are healthy the whole year this team can do damage.  Big fan of Dame's game and root for the guy anytime they aren't playing the Knicks.  They never seem to have a healthy roster for the last 5 years.  Shame, Dame would be challenging for titles if they were.

Despite Blazers always failed to make a successful playoffs run, I admire Dame for being loyal. He even pointing things to the Portland Trail Blazers management to do something to surround him with a good teammates instead of "damn, trade me now. i'm sick of this".

But for how long his patience will be test? It's not forever that Lillard will still on his best prime performance. He is now 32 years old, entering the post-prime period and looks like he really determined to end his legacy in the Blazers.

Since then, Blazers is not participating or involving in getting a big name in post-season and free agency. If they keep on doing that, Dame might end up as one of the good players in the league who didn't experience a championship.
1447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 10, 2022, 08:42:57 PM
A win away to return in the finals but of course this is not the end yet for Magnolia, if they can be more consistent in the next game maybe they can even the series but we should not expect that much from them because TNT really dominates the series. Most of the players of TNT are doing great, from offense to defense that’s a total team work and the result is really good for them. TNT going to the finals is more exciting, hope they can finish the series in game 5.

As long as a team doesn't reached yet the required 4 wins to advanced, it's not over yet for Magnolia.

Although even trying to become optimistic about this team, it's clearly show they can't really match TNT. Lots of their players becomes inconsistent this series unlike prior games especially in the eliminations where Magnolia is even favored to win the championship next to SMB.

To bounce back, of course Magnolia need to change their game. I think they are just focus on Mikey Williams since this guy really carry the TNT without realizing that TNT is playing like a team and not as a one-man team. They are doing their best to stop M. Williams offense but his teammates are doing the adjustments because they are aware too that Magnolia will do that.

TNT vs Meralco would be a great Finals matchup. No SMC teams for a change. Smiley

After watching the rematch of Donaire vs Naoya Inoue, you can see that Donaire no longer has his main advantage - speed and simply does not have time to react to enemy attacks, age still affects, and by moving to a heavier weight category, he also risks his health

He is fighting against the monster, against on the top level boxer, against the number 1 in bantamweight, that's why we see the big gap between him and Naoya Inoue. This Japanese monster is just on the higher level that's why Donaire becomes nothing. Kudos though to the Filipino flash that on his first meeting against Inoue, he able to give the monster the first bad injury on its career.

Moving forward, I'm with everyone here that Donaire still has that destructive power. Of course, not against Inoue.

Going down weight class is a good move for him if the purpose is to just continue what he wants. However, in the event that he experience losing a match on that division, it's now the time to hang his gloves and enjoy his retirement. Actually according to him if I remember it right, he will really retires if he loses again after the lose against Inoue on their 1st meeting. But since he able to beat 2 opponents after that and even become a champion, he thinks he still has the power so he push on a rematch against Inoue.
1449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rise of Streamers in Online Gambling on: August 10, 2022, 08:26:29 PM
I saw on the news that the xQc streamer made $686 million worth of bets in three months, but I can not find a reliable source to confirm this news. Have you heard anything about it? If this is true, then in my opinion this is a clear disrespect for his viewers, since it is obvious that all the money from this amount is fake - he clearly could not wage such a huge amount.

I'm not aware of that streamer but I don't find that thing disrespecting his viewers. I don't even find it as big deal to think of. It's true that he made that worth of bets "on his content" and that's a fact. Now for the money he used on that purpose, we don't have to actually know if it's came from whatever sources. If he's a clear affiliated to the gambling site he was always showing as a content, then I think his viewers knows already where should the money came from.

And on that stream, even he's not using his own money, the odds of winning are also applies to that streamer. Basically, he is just showing his viewers the content on his experience on that particular session. Viewers don't even care if the money wagered was by the streamer itself or sponsored. That's not the reason why these viewers are watching the content.
1450  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think the market will take to recover? on: August 10, 2022, 08:20:00 PM
Perhaps for the Holders the long figures there will be no problem as long as they are sure the price will return to the highest price.

Well these holders won't hold in the first place if they are not sure and expecting that the price will return to their expected price.

Actually, we don't need to wait for the market to recover since what should be recovered? I mean, we need this bearish trend as it give chance for us to bought bitcoin at much lower price. I'm not saying the current price is low but if we look at this year's performance up to this point, anything around $20,000 should be considered as a good price to enter again.

Also about long-term holders, they are not actually thinking about what price entry they should go in or make it as a priority as the purpose is to accumulate more whenever there's a chance by them to do it.
1451  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the future of Bitcoin uncertain? on: August 10, 2022, 06:59:17 PM
What could be the state of Bitcoin in the future?

This is discussed all the time but I am asking this question because my elder brother said that after 2025 Bitcoin will not exist anymore and will be completely dead. He also said that after 2025 Bitcoin will not be mined so that Bitcoin will not be able to hold its own position.

So I would like to know from you how reasonable this statement is?

While listening to your brother, you should also ask him some questions:

a) Why it will happened?
b) Why Bitcoin will not able to hold it's own position or what exactly he meant for "position"?
c)  How sure he was on his speculation?
d) Where did he get that idea? From his own or to just another speculators.
e) Or just explain everything....

Sorry but I don't considered your brother's prediction as reasonable statement. It's true that bitcoin's future is uncertain but knowing how the progress is that bitcoin achieved, it's unrealistically that bitcoin will just died. Bitcoin already experiences lots of ups and downs but still, standing strong. The fall of bitcoin is also a fall of the whole crypto.
1452  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't sit on your hands on: August 10, 2022, 06:49:40 PM
Many people are expecting Bitcoin to go down to 10k before they start investing, well not a bad idea but sometimes your expectations might not come true, just because bitcoin was 3700$ in match 2020 doesn't mean we might see 10k per Bitcoin, remember it was because of CoViD that's why BTC plummeted to 3700$, the best strategy is DCAing, 17500$ per BTC weeks ago was a good opportunity honestly, for the short time some said but might be the last for the long term too, instead of guessing and making predictions avoid sitting on your hands and do nothing.

Who are these many people? Honestly, even Bitcoin will go down to $10,000, I doubt they will really start investing since for sure, they will expect for the price to go down more. That's always the case for those waiting for their price entry but when it reached, there's still a hesitation.

To expect for $10,000 Bitcoin price seems not close to reality but I'm not saying it's not possible to happened. We need a worst situation that something we can't imagined for that price to be reached.

I doubt the price will reach that level again. For those who are still waiting, they wasted lots of opportunity already with several price swings happened. If they think bitcoin is really good for long-term holding, they really need to act now and consider buying at the current price rate while also trying to increase their holdings as they wait for their expected moon price.
1453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: taking out a loan for a sports bet (UPDATE) + fixed match on: August 08, 2022, 08:01:48 PM
In gambling, it is always better to be safe than sorry. Preventing a loss is so much better than actually paying for your loan in the event of a loss. Besides, almost all gamblers experience this "paranoia" that they should have betted more money in the process.

Aside from it being a headache to pay for that monthly loan, it's risky in the first place to get a loan without a strong financial source of income. Since all the loan money was busted in gambling, that will just give a much heavy toll on that person since the loan wasn't used for a good purpose.

And give me a break, since when a regular bettor will have access to fixed match information?

OP just may be a victim of those services claiming they have access to a fixed match. Since some of those bets win, OP thinks that they are legit and accurate which in the long run, the result will be worst and the company just let OP take the bait to subscribe to their service.
1454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: August 08, 2022, 07:53:41 PM
Or, people here are tired of Canelo winning fight and wants to see him being beaten, followed by a tremendous recovery with a beautiful KO of some top3-top5 of middleweight. Or people here wants to see GGG wins and retiring after a win over his toughest opponent.

That Canelo's continuous winning streak got already spoiled by Dmitry Bivol last May 2022.

That was Canelo's first loss since being defeated by Floyd Mayweather Jr. in September 2013. Around 15 wins of him within 9 years was being cut by Bivol. That was a tough winning streak but Canelo founds a good opponent which even tagged as a heavy underdog prior to that fight, and the underdog is Dmitry Bivol.

I have voted for GGG, because I just want to see Canelo loosing. That is so simple. I just want this guy to go down from the sky to earth and be among regular people. I am just tired of his "I am the greatest", "My legacy", "I am number 1 in boxing".

Looks like the same reason with others as well. Canelo Alvarez on their last media press conference about the trilogy throws unnecessary foul words to GGG which the latter found unusual to him as he knows Canelo will just trash talk if his opponent started to trash talk him.

Maybe to contribute to hype a fight because Canelo thinks he will not get the usual number of viewers to watch that fight compare to his average views since he came from a loss? Who knows. I found that Canelo trash talk too was not necessary and GGG is just silent. Good and humble response by him.
1455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: August 08, 2022, 07:40:10 PM
The purse agreement? I think we are all in unison that Spence Jr, will be the A-side of this fight. He seems to be drawing more fight fans in their seat when he fight, so there is no question about it.

Actually, both boxers have the capability to attract more viewers and PPV subscribers. It's just that Errol Spence Jr. does have better and impressive PPV stats compare to Terence Crawford's overall that's why it makes sense to believe that Spence should have a bigger cut.

But even if there's no such thing as Spence being called the PPV King, these both boxers can easily be sold out tickets and PPV subscriptions in just a short period of time. The reason is that it's a mega bout that every boxing fan is waiting for.

This fight is being shaped for years now and it's just this year it become close to happening although as of now, information about the progress is really limited. We have no other options but to remain hanging for any updates regarding the fight.
1456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Japanese Animation Slot Machines on: August 08, 2022, 07:33:31 PM
I'm curious, other than the character reacting if the gambler touches the fingertips long enough what else does it do? if you ask me I feel it is unnecessary and to be honest, I am a little disturbed especially when the characters on the screen looks like a child. what I think they should do is incorporate that feature into something more practical.

Oh, can't imagine you are affected by the drawings there as it gives you a disturbing feeling which supposedly should not. But yes, we all have our own preference and if you feel that way, then so be it. Maybe you are not just used to it since obviously, Japan has a different approach to that.

We can't also tell them to never incorporate such features since, in the first place, they are used to it in their culture. Nothing we can do about it.

Better for you to just ignore those for your own satisfaction and comfortability.
1457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 08, 2022, 07:27:55 PM
It's really annoying that the shot still went on and change the fate of those who backup SMB's handicap, an almost win that end up with losing their bet.

It might be annoying to others but on the other side, there are bettors who also won because of that outcome. It's a win-win situation and not all the time we should expect a win. I experienced that several times already where it's an almost win but lose in the very last seconds. Really disappointed but no choice but to just expect to have better luck next time.

That's life in gambling and we should be used to that. Smiley

Waiting for the lines for Game 4. Expected to be out on crypto-bookies early on the day of the game.
1458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 08, 2022, 07:23:16 PM
Nets will not be better if they force KD and Irving to stay, and if they are not getting good enough offers then they should accept whatever they can get.

That's not a simple decision to just accept offers even if that is not good just to get rid of them. It's "Kevin Durant" we are talking here who is currently under a max contract with them and freshly signed it last year. But yes, the Nets should at least lower their expectations and not ask for more if the package is already good.

But the problem is, that a good package that we might consider already good still does not meet the criteria of the Brooklyn Nets.

For now, surely there are other teams that will still reach the Nets and will offer different trading packages.

Teams trying to get Durant in the first place are worth trying for them.
1459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is It For The Money Or For The Sport Or A Clear Exploitations on: August 08, 2022, 06:57:19 PM
Should we allow or support internet sensations to fight in the ring I'm ok with the Paul brothers but these two other so-called internet sensations are making a mockery of boxing.

Is there something we can actually do to prevent that kind of match? It's easy for organizers to make such fights since it's not prohibited in the first place. Even those professional players in that specific sport can't prevent that kind of match from happening even if they will voice out their concern that they are against at those exhibition games where it involves a personality that's not even a real player of that sport.

Simply, if we are again at this, we can take action by not supporting that match or just ignoring it.

But since many people are patronizing that event, then no choice but to keep our disappointment from ourselves.
1460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Telegram Group and new investment plattform on: August 07, 2022, 11:54:42 PM
It is better to ignore telegram personal messages and group .because must of the scammer use telegram for attack crypto users. so you should be carefull to use any services from telegram

I agree I only join a telegram group for communication on projects I'm working with and on bounty campaigns where the requirement is to be part of the group, but I decline any invitation coming from unknown individuals which promise profit or gain, there are few safety features on telegram it has become the favorite tool of scammers to scam people, you can create an unlimited number of accounts and there are few verification features except your phone.

But that's what has not happened to others. Some users easily believed in PMs they are receiving.

Who to blame for that? The users themselves.

If only they know how to determine the obvious thing, the scam part should not happen. As long as there are believers, scam attempts won't stop.
