The Lakers do not need a veteran, they have experience players like their big 3. What they need are role players that could step up consistently so their starter could rest and will not become prone to injury. Lebron, AD, and Westbrook, as long as they play great basketball, that will affect the entire team in a positive way.
I agree about this topic. Lakers don't need such a player to be more successful now. The important thing for them now is to replace Westbrook with a better guard. His performance in the previous season wasn't satisfying at all and this affected the team very negatively. Lebron doesn't want to have another season with him currently. Irving is speculated to replace him soon but we will see. Honestly Irving would be a great addition to the team imo. The score contribution would be much higher. LeBron has a solid bond with Irving back with Cavs and with a Healthy AD that can be a solid trio to anchor the Lakers, I don't know though if the management can work with the demand of Nets in pursuing the trade between Westbrook and Irving. I am not very clear about what the governments are like in other countries, or if in Europe I clearly think that the governments are much more transparent and ethical than in South America and may have enough ethics for it, but at least where I live, the things are not like that, first of all the government wants to manage everything and have its slice of money in each business that is generated, if it is not under their tutelage, then it simply does not happen, and if it happens secretly from the government they run with the risk of being imprisoned, therefore everything that is given in the name of a government, be it a casino or something similar, at least I would stay well away.
Good to hear that transparency still works from where you are, as from my location corrupt officials still exist, we do have different opinions as per our experiences and out thinking about how the government will handle and operate their own online gambling site. That's the problem, even if the Sixers are healthy throughout all season and in playoffs, they always failed. There's no question about Joel Embiid. He's always on the MVP rankings every season. His stats are really impressive and top of the line among many others. If only he has good role players backup, his talent is not wasted on this team. The Sixers should be grateful that Embiid never asks for a trade or even an intention to do it after several years of failed journey. If the Sixers will do nothing, they will end up like Portland Trail Blazers that is not working their best to surround their main player with a good backup. After keeping Harden, Sixers should also needs to improve their other starters and even the bench squad. This upcoming season is not jus for them after GSW wins the title, it is expected to see how teams will try to build a much more powerful squad. Sixers might need to keep improving, but we can't predict in how other teams from both he East side and the West side will also establish solid powerhouse squad.
